Hawk stayed near Cora's last class, skipping english to wait until her name was called. He caught sight of her, giving her the chance to feel confident. She walked shyly to the front of the class, and he immediately saw, from the hallway, what she was talking about. Their was immediately a string of whispers, looking at her ass as she walked to the front of the class. She clearly knew, looking panicked and nervous as she cleared her throat, hands shaky as she held her paper.

Hawk sighed, turning as he pulled the fire alarm, ducking in the bathroom before anyone could see he did it. Cora was saved by the bell, literally. The class left the room, other classes down the hallway flooding the hallway. Hawk waited until he saw Cora to slide out. "You can thank me later."

She looked to the side with a little eyebrow raise. "Hum?"

"For getting you out of your presentation." a cocky smirk was thrown her way as they walked down the hallway together. "You can thank me later."

She went to point out the alarm did it, stopping with wide eyes. "You did not."

"I did." he said back, his hand brushed hers but pulled it away. "Making up for not seeing you in the hallway."

Cora looked over with a faint smile, nodding her head. "All is forgiven."

Hawk met eyes with Ryan, who had been in Cora's class with her. He was giving a questionable look, almost asking if he needed him to come rescue him from her. He didn't want to, but he immediately panicked at what they were all thinking that he was actually talking and hanging out with her, especially after they knew he had gone over to her house yesterday. "Hey, i'll catch up with you, okay? I left my bag."

Cora nodded, giving a tiny smile as she caught up with Piper.

"Dude!" Dough was laughing, slapping his shoulder. "I see you actually hit that."

"She driving you insane yet?" Ryan tried to jumped on him, digging his palms into his shoulders. "What was it like? Did she scream? Did she beg you? Hum? Did you use a condom?"

Hawk shoved him off with a forced laugh. "Get off."

"Word of advice, just turn the other way when you see her. She'll catch on." Dough jabbed him in the side with his fingers. "Worth it?"

He hated the way they talked about her, especially after all she'd said in just a short period of time, because he knew now that she wasn't completely like everyone else said she was. But, if there was anything he hated more then listening to them talk about her like that, it was ruining his representation. "Nah, not really."

Cora flipped across the mat, landing with a bounce. If there was something she was decent at, it was gymnastics. Her mom put her in it when she was younger, and she hated it. As she grew older, she taught herself to love it when she saw that she'd truly been good at it. And, God, did that girl want to be good at something.

"Cora!" Hawk called out for her, standing at the end of the mat. Cora looked over, and suddenly felt really insecure about the sweat on her forehead and the gym clothes. No one bothered to tell her that her makeup had been running under her eyes slightly, Hawk kinda loved it. He stood with Kreese by his side, arms crossed.

Cora walked over with a small smile. "Hi."

"This is Sensei Kreese, he was thinking about getting more people for the dojo and I thought about what you said." Hawk nodded at her, giving his best smile that wouldn't show too much softness infront of Kreese.

Cora looked up at the intimidating man. "Hi, Sensei Kreese."

"You can flip around and hold your footing." he confirmed, Cora realized they had probably been watching her for a while now. "Can you fight?"

Cora blinked, Hawk cut in before she could tell. "Yeah, she can. Knocked a guy right out the other day."

Cora did no such thing, but rose her fist with a confident nod.

"We'll have to see if you are Cobra Kai material." he said back, eyeing her and passing his card over. "I'm sure Hawk wouldn't lie."

"No, sensei." he said back.

"Good." Kreese nodded, looking to Cora. "I'll see you tomorrow."

As he walked off, Cora looked to Hawk. "That was intimidating."

"He's not so bad once you get use to him. He just wants to make sure you're really in." Hawk nodded to her as Cora nodded. "So, you think you'll join?"

Cora bite the inside of her mouth. "I know some of the guys on your team."

Hawk knew that Cora clearly didn't want to be around them with the way they talked about her, even when they weren't talking, the look in their eyes said enough. He nodded. "Come with me."

"I'm in the middle of practice." she gave him a crazy look.

Hawk shrugged. "So?"

Cora sighed, looking over her shoulder slightly before following. Hawk lead her outside, pointing over at Dough, Ryan, and Mikey. "Those guys?"

She didn't say anything, looking slightly uncomfortable.

"Go over there and tell them to stop talking shit on you." Hawk demanded her, getting a crazy look. "If they don't listen, knock them right in the face."

"Are you crazy?" she turned to him in disbelief. "I'm not gonna do that."

"You wanna keep letting people talk about you like that?" he asked her in disbelief.

"It's my fault." Cora shrugged slightly. "Obviously people are gonna talk about me when there's a literal twitter thre-"

"So go over there and make them regret ever posting any of that." Hawk said to her with a knowing look. "You wanna walk into Cobra Kai tomorrow and have them look at you like that?"

Cora shook her head, he nodded, going to whip her face before stopping. "Is it okay if I get the mascara out from under her eyes?"

"Oh." Cora looked embarrassed, going for her bag, realizing she didn't have it.

"I can do it." he said gently, face falling slightly. "Only if you want me to though. I don't have t-"

"It's okay." Cora nodded, leaning in some as he delicately used his thumbs to whip under her eyes, his knuckles to get the rest off. "You get it?"

"Yeah." he shove her his thumbs. "I'm sorry, Cora."

"For what?" she blinked.

"For them." he nodded toward his friends. After what he said earlier about her, the feeling after was enough for him to know he'd never say that again. But, he wasn't gonna fight her battles for her the first time around. She needed, and had the right, to put the three in their place.

"It's whatever." Cora shrugged slightly. "I don't know why I ever liked them so much."

Hawk really wanted to understand why she did all the things she did, even though it was clear she wasn't really into it. But, he wasn't gonna ask her why, too scared the way he'd say it would come out extremely harsh. "Egh, maybe you just need a good boyfriend for a change."

"They were never my boyfriends." Cora shook his head, looking over at the trio. "They just slept with me to go talk to their friends about it and treat me like shit afterwards. I don't know why I did it either, especially when I knew that was gonna happen."

She confused him, and she knew it. Hawk looked around at her face. "Did you not want to?"

"I did, I guess. I mean, I wanted to be around them." Cora tried to explain, and he listened to her. "I just wanted to spend time with someone that seemed to actually want to, I don't know, be close to me."

He got it then, immediately, he got it. Cora didn't sleep around because she wanted to have a lot of sex with a bunch of asshole guys she knew would hurt her. She slept around because she craved any form of affection, regardless of how she got it. Cora shrugged. "Over time, it just build up a chain reaction."

As if he didn't feel bad enough for what happened last night, he felt even worse knowing that Cora just wanted someone to hold her hand or lay with her. His hands were moving toward her, but he didn't want to touch her. Not after lasted night. Every time Hawk felt the radiation off her body, his mind immediately traveled to the scared look in her eye.

"I know people say a lot of stuff about me. And most if the times it's true. I just-" she broke their eye contact and looked to the left slightly. "I just don't want you to think badly about me."

"I don't think badly about you." he promised her with a nod. "I just wish you told me before I threw myself at you in your kitchen."

Cora laughed slightly. "No, it's okay. I didn't mind."

"We can do other physical stuff that doesn't involve any of that." Hawk suggested to her. "Is that, like, is that what you want?"

Cora nodded. "You don't have to act this way just because last night."

"I'm not. I like hanging out with you." he promise with a small smile. "Go get this over with so you can walk into the dojo tomorrow and not have to worry about any of those guys saying shit to you."

Cora looked over, taking a breath as she traveling their way. Hawk was taken back, not totally expect her to do so, but she was. Mikey slapped Ryan's shoulder when Cora was walking over, a dreading looking on all three of their faces. "Hey, C."

"Stop talking so bad about me." she stood infront of the three, not nearly as intimidating as she wished she was. "I'm tired of people treating me bad because of guys like you."

"Guys like us? What about girls like you?" Ryan asked, Cora felt horrible the way he was talking to her, and the way Mikey and Dough were laughing. "What did you expect, Cora? You've fucked half the school and you don't think people are gonna treat you like the whore you are?"

Cora looked back at Hawk, he couldn't hear, but he figured it wasn't going good by the way she looked. Cora balled her fist up, swinging around and knocking Ryan right in the face. Hawk leaned toward some, laughing, taken off guard. "Oh, shit."

"I said stop talking bad about me." Cora demanded as Ryan held his nose in pain. "If any of you say anything else about me, or those pictures, or those nights, i'll- ill-"

She was struggling, panicking. "I'll tie you to a stop sign and run you over!"

Ryan looked at her like she was crazy, Mikey and Dough not bothering to stick around after that. Cora turned back on her heels, walking back toward the red haired boy. He laughed. "That was awesome."

"That hurt." she gave him a crazy look. "Like hitting concrete."

"Did you tuck your thumb in?" Hawk asked, looking down at her swollen hand. "If you're gonna walk in tomorrow, we have to at least get your punching right."
