▌❝︎𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘❞︎

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐗 𝐖𝐀𝐒 a woman with struggles. She held a lot of pain, and a lot of regret. See, she looked like a normal woman. And she was mostly. There was just one tiny problem. Her hands. Her hands that were always covered in some form of gloves or cloth that went past the bone of her wrists.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐀 gift, one that she was born with. One that made her horrified of herself and what it was that she could see and do. Her siblings had always wondered why she wore the gloves, and one day when they got into an argument over it, Theodora showed them why. She placed her hands on her brother's arm, and the fear that filled his eyes was horrifying.

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 of herself. She didn't know how to control it, and even now that she was in her late twenties she still didn't know how to control it. How to stop what she saw, how to stop herself from accidentally hurting someone more so mentally than physically. She only knew how to avoid the situation, and that was to wear the black laced gloves on her hands at all times.

𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐎𝐍, 𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐎 known as Hawkeye, was an archer and a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. It was that simple. And so when he was given the file to bring in the girl that had unique powers, it piqued his interest. He didn't realize that when he came to bring this woman back to the base, not only would he have to find a way to get her to trust him that he could help her, but he would also have to force himself to push his suddenly blossoming feelings aside in order to get his mission done before Theodora gave up and closed herself off again.
