in le garage at hiro's

"Arms up," Hiro directed, scanning the team. They were gathered in the garage to design equipment for combat. "The neurotransmitter must be in his mask," he continued, now sitting at one of his computer monitors. He showed a holographic display of the transmitter in the mask. "We get the mask, and he can't control the bots. Game over."

Later, you and Hiro worked with the gang to formulate their powers and abilities. Each individual would have an offense that highlighted their major. Honey worked with her chemicals, GoGo used her electromagnetically suspended wheels, Wasabi used his laser-induced plasma. As for Fred, he held out a comic book, his suit to be a monstrous creature.

Firstly, Honey Lemon had a purse with the periodic table of elements on it. She would press the elements that she desired and have them ejected into a small sphere. With a simple throw, the "chem balls" would react depending on which elements she used. She used one to test on Heathcliff, throwing it lightly to his feet. It erupted in a foam-like material and she grabbed the imitative mask.

GoGo used the wheels at her feet similarly to rollerblades. These skates enabled her to maneuver at very impressive speeds. She grabbed a garden hose and wrapped Heathcliff in it, snatching the mask.

Then, you and Hiro redesigned Baymax's armor. When it was finished and printed, the two of you struggled to push it on. The hands, the feet, the butt, then the stomach.

Next was Fred's suit. Springs on the bottoms of the feet allowed him to jump at extreme heights. "Super jump!" Fred demonstrated. "Super jump!" The mouth of the suit also had the ability to breathe fire. "Whoo-hoo! I breathe fire!" He created a ring of flames around Heathcliff before jumping to the center and grabbing the mask.

Wasabi used blades of plasma at the hands. For testing, Heathcliff operated a tennis ball machine, launching them at Wasabi. Using the blades to slice down the tennis balls, he made his way to the machine. Then, he cut it in half and took the mask.

After practicing, the gang gathered together to admire their armor.

"Whoo-hoo!"

"I love it!"

"Not bad." GoGo took off one of the disks, throwing it like a boomerang. It came back a moment later.

"Anybody else's suit riding up on them?"

"Hey, guys," Hiro called. "Check this out. I'd like to introduce, Baymax 2.0." He presented Baymax in his brand new armor.

Fred gasped, "He's glorious."

"Hello," Baymax waved. A butterfly landed on the tip of his gloved finger before floating away again. The curious robot began to chase after it.

"Woah, woah, woah... hold up. Focus," Hiro instructed.

Suddenly, they heard you shout from inside the mansion. "Hiro? I think my suit is too small!"

"(Y/N), I designed that based off of your body scan, it's fine," Hiro assured.

"Okay..." You stepped into perspective, a hint of insecurity dusted on your face. You gave a weak grin. Hiro noticed how sun reflected perfectly off of your new armor. You were amazing in his eyes.

(Quick A/N: your armor is the same design as Hiro's, except with an aqua and pink color scheme and wings. Hiro's is purple with an accent of red, so yours is a dark shade of aqua with an accent of pink. If you don't like that, please do feel free to change the colors! I chose them since they were similar to the purple and red.)

It took him a moment to regain his awareness. "(Y-Y/N)... you look great," he complimented, his blush way too dark for his liking.

"Oh, um, thanks," you replied. After glancing, you sent him a smile. Your eyes gleamed.

"Okay, Baymax. Show 'em what you got, buddy." Baymax stared blankly in return. "The fist, show them the fist!"

He held out his fist. "Ba-da-la-la-la."

You and Hiro laughed. "No, not that. The thing, the other thing," he urged him.

Baymax rocketed his fist out, destroying one of Fred's statues in the process. The gang watched, impressed.

"Rocket fist make Freddie so happy!"

Then, Baymax recalled the fist. "That's just one of his new upgrades!" Hiro mentioned. "Baymax, wings." A pair of red wings shot out from the backside of his chest plate.

"No way!"

Baymax spun around, trying to get a better look at his new gear. Hiro ran behind him, putting his hands and feet in the magnetic spots. He had installed magnets in your suit and his suit so you could both fly on Baymax.

He held out a hand to you. You took it and stepped on next to him.

"Thrusters," Hiro ordered. Baymax hovered above the ground unsteadily.

"I fail to see how flying makes me a better healthcare companion," Baymax told you.

Hiro rolled his eyes. "I fail to see how you fail to see that it's awesome! Full thrust!"

Instead of going up, Baymax fell parallel to the ground and then took off. He flew around precariously, now above the streets of San Fransokyo.

"Steady, big guy!" You and Hiro moved your knees down to the lower magnets. "Look, let's just take this slow," he told Baymax.

As he said that, you were quickly approaching a statue on top of a building.

"Up, up, up, up, up!" he screamed. "Thrust, thrust, thrust!" Baymax skyrocketed into the air, going straight up at a high elevation. "Too much thrust, too much thrust, too much thrust!" The rockets turned off, causing you to start falling. Your stomach did flips as you soared over one of the pillars of the San Fransokyo Bridge.

"No, no, no, no! Back on, back on! On, on, on!" You flew just above the cars on the bridge, passing them at a high speed.

Just then, you reached the back of a truck. "Go up! Up, up, up! Up!"

Baymax shot into the air again, accidentally hitting a pillar on the bridge before landing on top of it.

"Oh, man!" Hiro gasped, "Maybe... maybe enough flying for today. What do you say?"

"I'm going to test out my own wings," you told him as you carefully stepped off of Baymax. "I bet I'm a better flyer than you are, anyway," you teased, ejecting the wings from your suit. Hiro raised an eyebrow.

You turned towards him, saluted, and jumped off the bridge, doing a backflip before activating the rockets.

Hiro let out a dreamy sigh, but Baymax broke his trance. "Your neurotransmitter levels are rising steadily."

"Which means what...?"

"The treatment is working." Baymax started leaning over to the side.

"Oh, no!" He fell off the bridge, the surface of the water below becoming closer. "No, no, no, no, no! Woah, Baymax!"

Just before they dropped into water, Baymax turned his thrusters on. They went gliding through the air, flying just behind you. Together you traveled across the city, navigating past buildings and through tunnels. You spiraled around a large building and Hiro took a second to look in the glass reflection. He saw himself, riding atop Baymax, and you close by his side. He thought that you looked so content, free, stunning. The moment was perfect, incomparable.

You continued to fly up and you reached an area scattered with wind turbines. Hiro gave you a challenging glance, which you soon returned. You both raced to the end of the kites, dodging them sequentially. Out of the corner of his eye, Hiro caught another glimpse of you. You were gracefully eluding the turbines, weaving around them and flipping over them. Your expression told him that you were at ease, relieved from most former pain. By knowing that, he was, too.

You ended up tying your friendly little race.

"I got way more style points, though," you claimed. All Hiro could do was smile and stare.

After the training session with your abilities, you sat atop a large wind turbine with your helmet in your lap. Baymax and Hiro sat on either side of you, and the sun was setting in the distance. Things almost couldn't be more perfect.

"Wow," you breathed.

"That was... that was..." Hiro couldn't find the right words to describe your wondrous experience together.

"Sick," Baymax finished. "It is just an expression."

"Yeah," you laughed, "that's— that's right, buddy."

"I am never taking the bus again," Hiro stated. He shifted the position he was sitting in so his hand was on top of yours. You looked over at him and smiled, only finding that Hiro was already staring at you. You blushed and broke eye contact sheepishly. He gently lifted your chin, and you found yourself leaning in a moment later. Hiro brought himself closer. You closed your eyes, doing the same, until—

"Your emotional states have improved," Baymax notified. You jumped slightly, your eyes fluttering open. "I can deactivate if you say you are satisfied with your care."

"What? No, we don't want you to deactivate," Hiro said, standing up. "We still have to find that guy. So, fire up that super-sensor." You let out a silent sigh and stood up with Baymax.

"Functionality improved," Baymax reported, overlooking the city. "One thousand percent increase in range." Beep. "I have found a match... on that island," he said, pointing.
