A massive cleanup continues today at the headquarters of Krei Tech Industries, the news broadcasted on television. You sat with the gang in the Lucky Cat Café, stopping by to wait for Hiro on your way to the lab.

Reports are still flying in about a group of unidentified individuals, who prevented what could have been a major catastrophe. The whole city of San Fransokyo is asking, "Who are these heroes? And where are they now?"

Hiro came bounding down the stairs to join you. You noticed how his eyes lit up when he saw you. You smiled and waved in return, happy to see that he was wearing an SFIT sweatshirt. Everyone stood up from the table, Hiro entwining his fingers with yours.

Cass came over to give you both lunches, giving you a hug goodbye. After a few steps to the door, Hiro turned back around.

"Last hug!"

Cass gratefully returned it before she let you catch up with the gang. On the way, you listened to another one of Fred's stories. It was when you reached the entrance of the lab that Hiro asked you to stay outside for a moment more.

"What is it, Hiro?" you queried.

"Well, uh... we've known each other for a while now. Been through a lot together, that's for sure," he began.

You laughed lightly and nodded, urging him to continue.

"Since— Since we've been great friends for quite a bit..." he trailed off.

"Go on! You can tell me," you assured.

"I was wondering if you wanted to be... I-I don't know, more than that, maybe?" He smiled sheepishly.

"I'd love that," you replied, your smile growing even bigger. He took your hands in his, leaning in. That is until you were interrupted —yet again— by Honey freaking out from inside. The gang stood hovering around the window, now coming back out through the door.

"Aww, you did it, Hiro!" Honey squealed.

"Congratulations, little man."

"Yes, our OTP!"

"Congrats."

"Thanks, guys," you laughed awkwardly, gaze wandering away from them.

in le lab

You and Hiro walked hand in hand into your new lab. Boxes were scattered in various places, and you made your way to one in particular. Opening the flaps, you found Baymax's rocket fist. You took it out and placed it down on a table.

You rested a hand on top of it, and Hiro bumped the still-closed fist.

"Bah-la-la-la," you both imitated. You turned around organize your boxes more, but a green glint from within Baymax's clutch had caught your attention. Hiro opened the fingers to reveal the healthcare chip that read Tadashi & Kori. Realization dawned on you just then.

"We... we can rebuild him," you whispered. "We can rebuild him!" Your lips curled into a smile and your face lit up with excitement. Hiro nodded, eyes wide in shock. You threw your arms around his neck excitedly. After a second of hesitation, he returned the embrace, drawing you closer to his chest.

You pulled back a few moments later, your faces only inches apart. The two of you locked eyes shortly, then you noticed Hiro's eyes drift down to your upturned lips. You leaned inwards for the umpteenth time.

Then, your lips brushed together in the middle.

le time skip after much hard work on Baymax :)

"Ow?" you said questioningly, standing in front of a newly built Baymax.

His cameras slowly opened. "I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion," your robot introduced. "Hello, Hiro and (Y/N)."

Your hands rose to your dropped jaw, your eyes wide as Hiro let out an astonished sigh. You glanced at each other with giant grins before running to Baymax, enveloping him in a hug. He soon after returned it.

We didn't set out to be superheroes, but sometimes life doesn't go the way you planned. The good thing is, our siblings wanted to help a lot of people, and that's what we're gonna do. Who are we?
