Waiting

If you ask Taehyung about the one thing he is perfectly expert in..then it would be waiting...Ever since the omega prince of Alwarak reached the age where he started understanding things..all he did was to wait... He waited for someone to come and unlock the door to the chamber he was locked up when he was five as a punishment for running behind the king...he waited for his eomma to come and sing him a lullaby at night...he waited for his Yoongi hyung to come tell him the stories of his training hours...he waited for Jaewan or Hyorin to read him bed time stories..all these without the king knowing....he waited to know the reason behind his appa's hatred towards him...he waited for his brother to talk to him..and is still waiting for his appa's love....

But if you again as him what's the most difficult thing to do..then his answer will again be waiting... To wait for someone or something for months and years... without loosing hope and love for it is a big thing.... To wait for someone's love.. someone's care even after knowing that you will never get them is the most painful part of waiting and here he was..again at the banks of river Syera..in his Arcane.. waiting for his secret admirer to show himself...

It's been three days since Taehyung is getting letters from the unknown person...who was really good in hiding... For the past two days...the first thing that Taehyung sees while walking down the steps of the dome is the neatly folded letter with the beautifully handwritten words which never failed to make his heart skip a beat

Today was no different as Taehyung sat beside the piller with the burning torch above his head while he opened the letter...as the rich scent of Amber and oak numbed his senses

To the one who bloomed flowers in my garden

A squeak left Taehyung's mouth when he read the name Alora No nickname has ever made him feel like what he is feeling now.... He felt as if all the butterflies that he has played with are now fluttering around in his tummy...he could feel his heart hammering against his chest as he read the letter again...

To be some one's dream...this is something Taehyung never even dared to imagine off.... He sniffed the paper inhaling in the amber as he closed his eyes....

He stood up walking towards the rock where the paper was earlier kept

' I know you are somewhere here' Taehyung called out 'And I know you can hear me.... Who ever you are... Thankyou for making me feel wanted...cared for.... I.. I don't know what is this that am feeling for you...but I am getting addicted to your letters...am getting addicted to your scent that calms me down... Even while in Palace...in the middle of everyone...all I crave for is the scent of amber to wrap me in it's hold... making me feel warm....On lonely hopeless hours all I want to do is read your letters that take me to an entirely different world...a world where am loved unconditionally...a world which is becoming my safe place...'

Taehyung sighed holding the paper close ' I should get going now...hope you will show me yourself soon'

Taehyung smiled lightly as he walked out..his feet hitting the cold water making ripples in them that faded out the reflection a pair of orbs that were staring at him

Heavy breathes left his mouth as he raced against the wind...his raven locks swaying with the breeze as soon as he transformed back to his human form..

A fond smile etched over his lips that was soon to hide behind a grim look as soon as he heard the footsteps behind him

' Jungkook'

A voice called making him turn around..his eyes a deadly stare as he eyed the male in front of him

' What?'

Cold..that is all that could be felt from the voice that left the ruddy lips of the raven haired alpha...

' Where were you' The male asked

Jungkook just turned around and shrugged walking past the male as he stepped in through the door

' Don't tell me you went for a run in the forest because I know it's a lie'

Jungkook halted on his tracks turning around 'It has nothing to do with you Jin hyung'

' You can't just decide that Kook..am your hyung' Jin said...

' What if I say that I can?' Jungkook challenged

Jin just sighed...he knew how useless it is to argue with the alpha now...

' Did you go to meet him?' Jin asked.. pushing his luck

Jungkook stared at the beta in front of him for sometime ' Yes'

' I don't think whatever you are doing is right Jungkook...you know who he is' Jin voiced out

' I don't remember asking your opinion on anything' Jungkook spat

' Did he see you?' Jin ignored his comment

' No'

' When are you going to show yourself Jungkook?'

' Never'

' Ajusshi' Jimin called making Jaewan look at him

' What is it this time?' Jaewan asked crossing his arms

' You are asking as if I am some sort of trouble maker' Jimin frowned

' Who said you are not?' Jaewan wiggled his brows

' Yaaa..how could you say th-' Jimin stopped mid sentence when he heard soft giggles ' What are you laughing at hyung?'

Taehyung burst out laughing hearing the whine... They all were in the training ground behind the palace.... including Tae...Once in every month Junghyun goes out of the kingdom only to return after two days... No one knows where but they never cared to ask because that was the time they took to make sure Taehyung also got the training that a normal prince gets.. Currently Jimin was watching Yoongi helping Tae train when something popped up in his mind

' Nothing..' Taehyung said pursing his mouth shut

' Go away ' He huffed turning towards Jaewan again 'Ajusshi I was asking.... You told us how King Daewon got all defensive when the king insulted King Hojung right?' Jimin asked to which Jaewan nodded

' So did King Daewon agree when the decision to stop the rituals at the temple was finalized? I mean..he could have continued it on his own right...the temple is completely abandoned now and if the Mirawikians wanted they could have taken care of the temple on their own?'

' No Jimin ah...' Jaewan said as he tightened the bowstring ' The ritual had a specialty... Goddess Hecate would only accept the worship if it's done by both the kingdoms together as it was meant to be an act that strengthened both the kingdoms relationship and the promise to never go behind greed for power or wealth... So when Alwarak decided not to turn up for the rituals.. Mirawik had no option other than to stay back... This all went on until Daewon decided that he had enough... Three year after the new rivalry between Alwarak and Mirawik Daewon wanted Junghyun to take part in the ritual... He decided to make a peace treaty with the King for over a year which Junghyun continued to deny'

' So King Daewon accepted appa's decision?' Taehyung voiced out

' No'

' Then what happened?' Jimin asked eyeing Jaewan who was now aiming an arrow at him

' Then... Then came the decision' Jaewan closed one of his eyes as he aimed  at Jimin ' For War'

' Jimin' Taehyung screamed when he saw how Jaewan released the arrow towards Jimin

Jimin's eyes widened as he froze at his place when he saw the arrow leaving the bow...but it never touched him as Yoongi was now in front of him holding the arrow mid air..his eyes darkening as he looked at Jaewan who blinked at him

' You need to work on your reflexes Jimin' Jaewan laughed as he set the bow down

' That was not funny' Yoongi growled as Jimin held his hand

' I knew you would get in the middle' Jaewan defended

' Did you fly or what?' Taehyung looked wide eyed at Yoongi who was standing beside him a while ago

' Perks of training' Yoongi just shrugged throwing the arrow back at Jaewan who caught it effortlessly...

' War?' Jimin perked up trying to change the topic

' Daewon declared war but that seemed to knock some senses into Junghyun who then wanted to have a peaceful talk' Jaewan sat down on the ground... The rest three following ' And so they waited for another year and then Daewon invited him for a talk on the day of his son's fourth birthday...'

' Was I born at that time?' Taehyung asked eagerly

' No..' Jaewan smiled 'That was the time when my Chae's miscarriage with her first pup...'

' Oh..'

' Hmm..so Junghyun went there as per the invitation...but when he returned he came with the news of Daewon's death'

The three of them gasped

' Appa killed him?' Taehyung asked

' No... Who ever came out alive from the palace that day said that there was a fire that broke out because of the baby whose birthday they were celebrating... It's said that Daewon and his Luna died in the fire.. leaving the prince alone' Jaewan sighed 'This is all I know about them.... I didn't even know that he had a child until Junghyun got the invitation'

' This is just ridiculous!' Jimin stood up 'How can a small child cause a fire...I swear it was the king's plan..he might have caused the fire and killed the King and Queen of Mirawik so that the war would be called off...he knew that he won't even last a second again Mirawik'

' Jimin!' Taehyung called ' Don't talk like that he is our appa-'

' Stop it Taehyung!' Jimin yelled making the omega flinch ' He is not my appa ok? Have you ever seen me addressing him as my father? Heck I don't even call him anything other than King...he never was my father and will never be no matter what you say' Jimin hauled his cloak back as he made his way inside the palace

' Don't mind him' Yoongi looked at Taehyung who gave a tight lipped smile

' Ajusshi' Taehyung called...' So who is the one ruling Mirawik now?'

' Alpha Kim Namjoon'

Taehyung rolled on his bed... five letters in his hand.
A cute giggle left his mouth when he looked at the letter he got last night.... His eyes gleamed in happiness as he read it again
