When Jaewan said that he will never let the kids feel deprived of a father's love... he was not joking... The Alpha king was never keen on seeing even the shadow of Taehyung... Min Yoongi the son of the Luna's personal maid Hyorin who was of six years when Taehyung and Jimin where born..knows about the cruel fate of the omega prince... Once he had seen the alpha and luna arguing....Jihye wanted to allot some guards outside Taehyung's chamber... but the cruel king denied it saying he is the one who controls his soldier and doesn't have any useless men in his force to waste them on the omega..while he had made four of his best men stand outside Jimin's chamber..who would be ever ready for the Alpha Prince's orders.... Yoongi saw the way Jihye's strong facade broke the instant the King left her....as her helpless tears stained her rosy cheeks

Anger seethed through his veins as Yoongi ran behind the king.. not even heeding to his mother's calls... He stopped the king and told him his decision on becoming Taehyung's guard.. hearing which the king laughed out loud and said ' Good to know young man...do whatever you please..let me also see how you protect that disgusting excuse of an omega without any training from my army...you won't be given any assistance from any of my men Yoongi...you will never be trained here' The king left as he laughed maniacally..

Yoongi stood glaring at the man as his wipped off his tears harshly.... From that day onwards Jaewan started observing the little boy of nine struggling to hold the sword that he sneaked out from weapon room without anyone seeing... After almost a week of seeing his struggles Jaewan took it upon himself to train the young alpha... Thus began the secret training of the nine year old boy...who became best warrior of Alwarak...after all he was trained by Jaewan..the who had a different history of his own..but tat's a story for another time... So under Jaewan's guidance Yoongi learned every trick that could defeat the most strongest soldier...as Jaewan had taught him 'In a war.. it's not your sword that should be sharp..its your mind...' And Yoongi has sworn to keep that in mind till the day he dies

Yoongi's soul laid in Taehyung...he would go any extend to see the boxy smile of the small kid... but he was also aware of the cold stares Taehyung used to get from Jimin... Yoongi knew about the battle in Jimin's mind and he was determined on stopping all of that...

Jimin had always had a soft corner for Yoongi.. for Yoongi being his only friend..whom he was afraid of loosing...he would do anything to make him stay...

Yoongi tried his best to unite the two brothers..but Jimin was one hell of a devil.... As a young boy Jimin loved to see Taehyung suffer.. he would do something and then put the blame on Taehyung and will get him scolded by Junghyun...
Once Junghyun got so worked up about something which Jimin did to get Taehyung scolded.. that the king used his alpha voice on the nine year old boy which made him unconscious for a whole week... Jimin was surely scared but his hatred increased when Yoongi scolded him

Jihye knew the tension between both the kids... she tried to get the hatred out of Jimin's mind but it never worked.... There was only one person who could get Jimin under control and that was Yoongi...and even though she knew this..she did saw how every single if Yoongi's attempts failed

Now coming to the omega prince... He really was one of a kind... His smooth silver hair and warm blue eyes were enough for anyone to go head over heels for him.. but his beautiful mind was something that never failed to touch many hearts... He was like a silver fish in the raging ocean....

No matter what Jimin does.. how Jimin behaves... Taehyung loved his brother with every fibre in his body.... He knew the way Jimin puts blame on him... but he never cared even a bit.... Once Yoongi being fed up with everything lashed out on Taehyung but the only thing the omega had to say with a soft smile was 'Don't get angry on him Yoongi hyung...I know he is doing this just because of his anger...but when he does that it gives me the assurity that he has still not forgotten about me...it feels like he knows that I'll protect him no matter what he does...and hyung.. all of my pains vanishes just by seeing his eyes smile....I just want my Jiminie happy'

Yoongi had done everything in his control to bring both the brothers close but it was as if the whole world was against it....which made him ultimately give up

But who knew that fate will play this dirty to bring them close.... It was presently a warm sunny morning after a stormy night.... Both the boys now 11 and Yoongi 17..... Yoongi was with his eomma who was making Jimin's favorite sweets while Taehyung was in the Library as usual...the books had became his best friend all through the years... The king was at pack hall because of which Taehyung moved around the palace freely...

Taehyung was happily going through the story of Eros and Psyche when he heard Jimin's giggles.... Taehyung was up on his feet in an instant running out to see his brother who still hated him

Taehyung hid behind the balcony door silently watching his brother playing with the butterflies... Taehyung's eyes crinkled as he stared at his brother who was trying to get hold of the winged creature...

Taehyung was about to go inside but stopped when he saw the younger climb onto the railing... leaning forward.... He frowned as an unsettling feeling formed in the pit of his stomach... Taehyung walked out slipping on his very first step but balanced himself holding onto the wall..he looked down to see the floor drenched in water... He slowly walked towards the railing climbing onto the raised platform beside Jimin trying to hold onto him protectively

' What are you doing here' Jimin hissed when he saw Taehyung next to him

' Jiminie it's all slippery here..you might fall'

' So? You will be happy if I die right? You will then get eomma and Yoongi hyung all to yourself' Jimin spat

' No Jiminie.... Don't say like that.. you are my brothe-'

' I don't want to be your brother... I hate you... I just want you to be gone from my life...I hate y-ahh'

Taehyung lunged forward pulling Jimin away from the railing the instant he saw the younger falling backwards but little did he know that he will slip and trip over the railing in an attempt to save his dear brother

' Taee' For the first time in his life Jimin called his brother his name..and not something hurtful ' Hyung no' Jimin held on to Taehyung's hand that was wrapped around the iron rod as he dangled from the railing

' You wanted me to go' Taehyung whispered...his heart beating out of his chest as fear settled in him

' N-no hyung...no' Jimin cried ' Yoongii hyungg eoomma' He called out still trying to hold onto Taehyung's hand that was slipping off his sweaty palms

' Jiminie.... I never wanted eomma n-nor hyung all to myself...I just want you to be happy' Taehyung chocked out a sob as his hands were slipping down the railing... his fingers going stiff 'It hurts'

'Hold on hyung' Jimin cried ' Yoongiii' He yelled

' Jimini-' Taehyung couldn't even complete what he was going to say when his hands betrayed him... making him leave the rod as he fell down

A loud screem left Jimin when he saw his brother's body hit the ground as blood splattered all around his head

Yoongi and Hyorin rushed up the stairs running towards the balcony when they heard the loud screams of the alpha prince only to see him kneeling by the railing as a loud sobs left his throat making them go still...

Yoongi was the first one to rush forward pulling Jimin back who thrashed in his hold.. crying hysterically as he pointed towards the ground... Yoongi felt his soul leave him seeing his Taehyung lying on the ground... drowning in his own blood

Jihye Junghyun and Jaewan were just back from a pack meeting and were walking in towards the palace door when they heard Jimin's yells..

' What's with him?' Jihye frowned

' I'll go and see' Jaewan said only to be stopped by the king

' No need' Junghyun said ' He must be just playing with the poor excuse of the maid's boy ' He spat

Jihye sighed sadly and the three of them stepped in through door when they heard a thud behind them followed by Jimin's loud yell

Jaewan felt his world stop when he saw the small boy on the ground... he ran forward picking him up into his arm

' T-Tae...open your eyes pup' Jaewan called..his shaky palm wiping off the blood from the boy's face ' Tae please'

' Call the pack doctor' Jihye ordered rushing forward but saw the guard not even moving an inch' Didn't you hear me?'

' He is not going anywhere without my orders Jihye' Junghyun said...his evil smile adorning his wicked face

' How' Jihye couldn't even form a single word seeing the ruthless king...she ran out of the palace into the streets startling the people there

' Luna what's wrong?' An alpha asked when he saw their crying Queen's pale face

' Tae... Taehyung... doctor' That was all needed for him to rush towards the pack infirmary to fetch the doctor

Jaewan had taken the boy to his own chamber.. laying him down on the bed as he pressed a cloth on to his bleeding wound

By this time Hyorin Yoongi and Jimin were downstairs...Jimin was about to go in when he saw his father smirking as he stood casually outside the room... Jimin looked back and saw Yoongi on the verge of breaking down and Hyorin calling out Taehyung's name as she held his thin hands

Jimin frowned as he again looked at his father... The smirk still intact and a sense of contentment on his face... His mind suddenly wandered back to all the times his father had forbidden him from getting closer to Taehyung...his eyes widening when he remembered his father beating the hell out of Taehyung for the things he had done but never even raised a finger at him even when he was caught doing such things.... He remembered how his father used to fill his mind with hatred towards Taehyung...Jimin felt stupid for not seeing this face of his father before...He was pulled out of his thoughts when the pack doctor and his assistant rushed in with his mother..who was also crying....

Jimin saw the doctor sending everyone out of the room closing the door behind them.... He was still staring at the closed door when he felt a hand on his shoulder...

' Appa' He whispered when he saw his smiling father

' Am so proud of you Jimin' Junghyun said patting his back' You did something which I was wishing for all this while'

' What do you mean?' Jimin frowned

' I know you hated him and finally decided to end the pathetic excuse of an omega by pushing him down the balcony.... I have been craving to see him dead from the day he was born'

Jimin stumbled back when he heard that...his eyes wide as he stared at the man in front of him...was this the same man whom I considered my role model...

' Take care of my Jimin Yoongi'

The King's voice seemed to pull him out of his thoughts...but Jimin's blood ran cold when he saw a teary Yoongi looking at him...or rather staring at him with no emotion in his eyes nor face

No no... don't trust what he said Jimin panicked when he understood that Yoongi heard whatever his father said' Yoo-'

Yoongi turned on his heels running out into Taehyung's room...as he plopped down on to the floor beside his bed.. clutching on to Taehyung's scarfs that was on the bed as he cried his eyes out... He heard the door opening and rushed footsteps approaching him as a pair of arms wrapped around him...

' I d-didn't push him Hyungiee..he was trying to save me' Jimin sobbed and Yoongi was quick to pull the boy into his arms...

Both of them continued to cry in each other's arms till they felt their hearts light...

Yoongi pulled back only to see the red cheeks and wobbling lips of the younger...

' Hyung' Jimin started ' I know I was always mean to Taehyung..but I never hated him... I was just so blinded with jealousy that I never saw how hard his life was here....hyung I didn't try to k-kill him'

' I know Jimin ah...' Yoongi stroked his cheeks ' What actually did happen?'

Jimin told him everything...the way they fought and how Taehyung ended up getting hurt in an attempt to save him

' Hyung...why does appa hate Tae?' Jimin finally asked the question that had been bugging him for a while now

' Jimin ah.. I don't think its my place to say that...am just a guard here an-'

' It's the Prince's order' Jimin's voice hardened when he saw Yoongi hesitating to tell the truth 'I have wasted enough time ignoring my brother...but I can't let that happen again...you have to tell me hyung'

Yoongi sighed.....he started explaining everything since Tae's birth...

Jimin felt like slapping himself when he heard that..he was so cruel to his brother all these years unknown to the fact that his brother's life was already a mess

' I now understood why eomma always asked me to protect him' Jimin mumbled.. guilt filling him as Yoongi held his hand

' Don't worry Luna...our Prince is really blessed... fortunately there is no internal bleeding on his head... except for a broken arm...which is nothing less than a miracle considering the fact that he fell from that height and yet survived...He truely is very blessed .. Anyway He will wake up in a few hours...I have dressed his wound..he will be having severe headache for some days.. I'll come back in a few days to redress the wounds...'

' Thankyou so much Hyun... I was so scared... thankyou so much...' Jaewan said holding onto his hand..

' Hey Jae... We all know how precious he is... You don't have to thank me... It was my duty.... anyway I should leave now' The doctor whose name was Hyun bowed as he left with Jaewan

' Please wake up fast pup...eomma is waiting' Jihye carefully ran her fingers through the omega's silver locks which were still painted red in his own blood as she sat beside him

It was already night and Taehyung hadn't woken up yet... All of them were worried sick....but the almighty king was enjoying it.... He saw the pale body of the omega prince while he came back to the palace from the meeting and honestly he prayed for the first time in his life to just let the omega be like this and then die one fine day.... But boy his prayers were not even taken in to consideration as Taehyung jolted up... groaning in pain

Hyorin saw the boy waking up and ran to Jihye

' Your Highness...our prince is awake' Hyorin said as Jihye rushed her way to her son's chamber... followed by Jaewan

The king stood his place... fuming with rage at the news....

' Oh my Taehyungie...eomma was so scared' Jihye carefully hugged the boy who was silently shedding tears....

Jihye frowned when she saw thw younger's beautiful blue eyes shining with tears.. ' Why are crying? Are still scared?Is it hurting too much baby?'

' Eomma..Jiminie' Taehyung mumbled and just then Jimin and Yoongi came running in

' Tae' Jimin chocked on his sobs when he saw his brother crying in his mother's arms

' Am sorry for being alive Jiminiee' Taehyung mumbled looking down ' I didn't want to...but am sorry'

To say Jimin's heart broke would be an understatement... atleast this was not what he had expected to hear from his brother...

' Tae' Jihye called him... her voice stern.. She looked at Jimin who was frozen at his place ' How did you fall Taehyung?'

' Eomma... I...' Taehyung looked at his hands ' I slipped while playing'

' Don't lie' Jihye said ' Tell who did this to you and I'll punish them..no matter who they are' Her eyes lingering on her own son

' Am not lyi-'

' He fell because of me eomma' Jimin spoke up and saw Taehyung shaking his head ' How long are you going to protect someone like me hyung? Am not worth it'

' You are my brother...you are worth every pain Jimin' Taehyung's smooth voice made Jimin tear up more

' Eomma... I was being rude again to hyung... He just came to talk to me and I said things which I never should have told' Jimin harshly wiped off his tears... He saw Yoongi taking a step towards him in his peripheral vision...he could feel the elder's calming pheromones wrapping around him....he could feel his heart beat picking up at the rich scent of lavender... He took in a much needed breath which calmed him as he continued

' Hyung was trying to save me from falling off but he ended up getting hurt...' Jimin walked directly towards Tae as he slowly cupped his cheeks ' Am sorry for being a brat hyung... But now enough of you protecting me... Enough of you getting hurt for me..you have done your part...now its my turn'

' What are you saying Jimin ah?' Taehyung frowned Is he going to stop talking to me forever

' From now onwards I'll protect you...no matter what it is...who it is... You will never get hurt.. atleast not till am alive and breathing... Please forgive me for whatever I have done to you hyung' Jimin said pulling the omega into his chest

Taehyung leaned himself into Jimin's arms as the younger hugged him softly.. careful not to hurt him even unknowingly

Jihye had a wide smile seeing her sons finally together...this is the day she has been waiting to see for years... She glanced at Jaewan who too had a wide proud smile on his face..

' Yaaa you two brothers reunited and now am left out' Yoongi whinned playfully

' Don't ruin our moment Yoonie' Jimin rolled his eyes as Taehyung giggled

' Oh now am definitely doing that' Yoongi ran towards them both tackling them into a loving hug... Taehyung trapped between both of them as Yoongi looked tenderly at a smiling Jimin who was looking back at him... their eyes meeting in a warm stance as Yoongi lifted his hands caressing Jimin's soft cheeks which was now turning red...an unknown emotion swirling in both of their hearts making their wolves go restless as the nuzzled close to each other with Taehyung still in their arms.. careful ans protected

I will always protect you two...for Min Yoongi has no life without his Jimin and Taehyung
