' Late alpha Daewon had two kids? I thought he had only one son who is ruling Mirawik and that is you Alpha Namjoon shi' Jimin said coming closer as he bowed respectfully ' Please forgive me for the lack of knowledge about Mirawik...our Alpha here is very strict when it comes to rivalry'Jimin spat looking at the alpha King who was fuming

' Don't apologize Prince...' Jungkook spoke up as Taehyung looked at him with curious orbs ' Also... I have heard about how the King of Alwarak has a weird obsession with naming anything that's beautiful as Forbidden'

Jimin stifled as smile that was trying to creep up his lips when he heard Jungkook

' And as of Mirawik' Namjoon who was silently watching his sassy mate talk all this while finally opened his mouth ' Mirawik..for years was the only kingdom that was ruled by a Beta... Late alpha Daewon had two sons... Jeon Seokjin..my mate and Jeon Jungkook... Jin was of eleven years when he decided to take the throne so that the kingdom which had no king to rule for ten years won't be neglected anymore... We became mates only ten years after that and since then I have been ruling Mirawik beside him...as the alpha King...but people are obsessed over the idea if only calling the alpha as King..hence you have heard only of me.. but in reality till now...Jin has a major say in all the decisions'

' I had long back asked Jungkook to take over the throne...but then we decided to wait till he finds a mate for himself...and since now we have found Taehyung...I think the time has come' Jin said caressing Tae's hair

' How did you come up with the thought of this marriage?' Jimin asked thinking that maybe it was Jungkook who bought this idea since he loved Tae

' It was not our plan' Namjoon said... ' It was of your appa'

' Appa?' Taehyung frowned

' Tell me one thing' Namjoon turned towards Junghyun who was Frozen on his feet ' If you had no idea about the royals of Mirawik...why did you even proposed this peace treaty?'

' Peace Treaty?' Jimin asked confused

' Oh Prince...your appa was not asking us to accept Tae as our Jungkook's mate.. instead he promised to give Prince Taehyung as a proof of his truthfulness' Jin spoke up ' How can I explain it...yeah.. it's like he gave away Prince Taehyung as a mortgage but in return instead of money...he asked to put an end to this rivalry.... It was Jungkook's wish to marry the prince and I have never said no to any of my brother's wishes...'

' Mortgage?' Jimin's blood boiled hearing that as he turned towards the King 'You just gave him away as if you own his life!'

' To prove our loyalty we need to promise them something... something valuable' Junghyun reasoned out

' Since when did Taehyung become valuable to you? Because the last time I checked your filthy eyes were raking over my hyung's body like a lust demon!' Jimin yelled

Taehyung felt Jungkook's grip around his waist getting tighter as a gasp left Jin but Jimin continued

' To prove your non existent loyalty you could have promised them a part of the kingdom..or gold or something like that but no! Your greed couldn't do that and instead you promised my brother? My hyung is not an object for you to play with.... You don't even consider him your son then who gave you the permission to promise his life to someone else?'

' Behave yourself Jimin..this is the Royal Court' Junghyun growled ' And why are you so agitated...this slut of an omega is already in this Alpha's arms showing his true colors!'

' I am warning you... I won't think twice before turning you into ashes if you dare speak another word about my omega' Jungkook growled

That seemed to spark something in Jimin...he turned towards Jungkook whose eyes held a fire.... He looked closely at the features of the alpha in whose arms were his hyung.... Jimin's eyes widened when he saw the beautiful pair mismatched orbs.....but his mind got stuck on the words that left Jungkook's lips when a sudden memory came back

'He had killed his own parents..he had tried to hurt his own family'

Jimin's eyes trailed towards Taehyung whose fingers were wrapped over Jungkook's hand on his waist ' If he was like all those rumors said..then he would have hurt my Tae by now'

Jimin was pulled out of his thoughts by a loud growl that left Junghyun who looked on the verge of transforming.. he then glanced at him eomma who was silently watching all this

' I apologize on his behalf...' Jimin said sighing' I think we should sit in the garden and talk about this further'

' You are not taking them anywhere Jimin' Junghyun voiced out...he was loosing his calm seeing how things were peak opposite of what he had expected

' As the crown prince and the next heir to this throne..it's my duty to take care of my guests' Jimin declared ' Please make the needed arrangements in the garden for us' Jimin said to Yoongi who bowed and rushed off 'Ajumma.. please bring us something to have...'

' Yes prince' Hyorin left towards the kitchen

' And Alpha Junghyun... I'd have to let you know' Namjoon looked at Junghyun who was staring at them' The moment you promised Prince Taehyung...he is declared the future luna of Mirawik... And you disrespecting our Luna would force us to forget everything about this peace treaty'

Jimin's just wanted to howl in joy.. damn the whole royal family was one hell for Junghyun

' Please' Jimin motioned them to follow him leaving a fuming Junghyun back

Jaewan was staring at the alpha king when he saw Jihye holding her head as she stumbled... The king totally ignored her as he walked off the hall...and the next instant Jihye collapsed

Jaewan rushed forward pulling Jihye up ' Jongin bring some water' He said as Jongin left... ' Jihye...hey wake up' He patted her cheeks but stilled when he saw blood oozing out of her nose

' How are you Taehyung' Namjoon asked

' Am good your Majesty' Taehyung lowered his head

' Oh no no.. please..call me hyung' Namjoon said smiling...his dimples fascinating the omega

' Ok hyung' Taehyung smiled widely

' Taee is this really the Alpha with whom you fell in love?' Jimin asked looking at Jungkook.. eyeing him completely

' Taee is this your cute brother about whom you always talk?' Jungkook asked with a straight face earning a chuckle and a smack from Yoongi and Jin

' Am not cute'Jimin huffed folding his arms ' Yaa what are you laughing at!'

Yoongi stopped smiling at the intense glare of his mate

' Hey little one... I know you have a lot in your mind...' Jin said holding Taehyung's hand ' But we will talk about all that later... Just know that your life is going to change from now on'

Taehyung smiled nodding....

'Greetings Your Highness' Hyorin walked in with the maids..all carrying different delicacies and drinks for all of them... They one by one settled everything on the table and was about to leave when Jimin called her

' Since we are going to be a family soon...you all should be acquainted with everyone important I guess' Jimin smiled ' This is Min Hyorin...our head maid...but above that she had always been a mother figure to us... And this here is her son Min Yoongi ... Tae's personal royal guard and our best friend'

They all bowed at the introduce...

' Thankyou so much for making our Taehyungie happy' Hyorin said looking at Jungkook who still had a straight face

' You don't have to thank me for that ajumma... It's my responsibility to keep him happy' Jungkook said

Hyorin smiled seeing the way Taehyung looked so in love

' This is so yummy' Jin said looking up..his eyes wide as he munched on the dumplings

' It must have been so hard for you... you were just a child when you had to take on the throne' Hyorin said cupping one of Jin's cheeks...

Everyone including Hyorin stilled...she instantly retracted her arms back as she looked at a shocked Jin
' Am sorry your highness... I didn't..I just felt like you lo-looked sad...you needed it..Am so-' Hyorin froze when Jin held her hand... guiding it back to his cheeks

' Don't apologize ajumma... Treat us just like how you treat Tae and Jimin...' Jin smiled... ' Also I'll be coming back just to have these again'

Hyorin smiled hearing that as she nodded

Namjoon held his mates hand when he saw Jin's eyes brimming...

' Come on I'll show you all around the palace' Jimin said jumping up from his place... trying to change the mood

' Oh I have seen it before' Jungkook shrugged making Taehyung's eyes go wide

' You what?' Namjoon almost spat out the water that he just took to drink

' H-he means..like he has imagined how the palace is...I have told him about it many times... Right Jungkook?' Taehyung asked squeezing Jungkook's hand who nodded

Yoongi saw fear filling Namjoon's eyes the moment Taehyung held Jungkook's hand...

' Then let's all go' Jin said laughing awkwardly as Jimin led them out

' Ajumma...can you please pack some of these for me? I totally loved it' Jin asked to which Hyorin excitedly nodded and left

Jin smiled seeing the interaction of the two alphas... ' Didn't know that the crown prince was mated'

Jimin felt his breath getting stuck in his chest when he heard that...his hand flew to his neck to hide the mark only to find it already hidden under his shirt collar.... His cheeks heated up when he heard the high pitched laughs of Jin

' Am sorry...but you are so cute' Jin said between his laughs ' Jimin...you both are too obvious..be careful...'

' What?' Jimin frowned

' Me and Joonie were lucky since I was the King and there was no one to stop me....but here you have an Alpha to convince about you two' Jin smiled

' I was his guard' Namjoon said seeing the look on Jimin

Jimin looked at Yoongi whose warm eyes were already on him One day we will also be like this right hyung

' You both look too good together' Jin winked making Jimin giggle

' Lets go?' Namjoon asked smiling to which Jimin nodded but Yoongi stopped them

' Since we are getting this close..I want to know something'

Taehyung smiled hearing it..' So this was your plan? When did you got to know that appa...you know..'

' The royal guard from Alwarak arrived our palace on the day next after the night I saw you for the first time... The night when you discovered your arcane... Joon hyung and Jin hyung never bothered to tell me thinking that I'll just go berserk on hearing about it...but then when I told them that I met you...and that you love me....Joon hyung showed me the scroll and here we are'

'Am so happy that you are here Hyung' Taehyung held his hand 'I can finally be with you always'

'Me too Tae...me too' Jungkook smiled... ' I guess you have heard many things about me by now'

' I have' Taehyung's smiled fell

' Aren't you afraid?' Jungkook frowned

' Why should I be? If anything you are my safe place hyung' Taehyung wrapped his arms around the alpha 'And also..just because someone said something about you.. doesn't mean I'll go around believing that... I know that you can never hurt anyone you love Jungkook.'

' The Mirawikians call me their Merikh' Jungkook said

' And the world calls me myth...but that didn't cease my existence' Taehyung leanes his head on Jungkook's chest ' Even if the whole world calls you The Merikh...I will never believe them... because for me..you are my life...my King'

A gasp left Jihye when she heard everything ' Trust me... I don't know how all that happened..it was not me I swear...I was with Junghyun asking him not to ruin Tae's life...and that's all I remember... everything after that is just blank...'

' I have to go to him' Jihye stood up from the bed ' I have to go find Tae and apologize to him'

They turned around and saw a happy Tae skipping his way towards them dragging Jungkook along with him

Jungkook scoffed hearing that

' That means Tae is my cousin?' Namjoon's eyes widened as he looked at an equally shocked Tae...

Jimin saw the smile faltering as the King of Mirawik stared at the omega prince

' Yeah' Yeonjoon laughed ' And am Kim Yeonjoon... Namjoon's brother and his personal guard...and you cousin brother too Prince Taehyung'

Taehyung smiled seeing him...he looked at Jungkook who stood beside him with a poker face what's with him

' Hyung..we should leave.. it's getting late' Yeonjoon said

' We will take our leave now' Jin said turning towards the rest of them

' We should pick out a date for the wedding... right?' Jaewan asked

' We should... You all come to Mirawik...Just send a scroll informing your arrival... We can discuss it over there?' Namjoon suggested

' Sure...' Jihye bowed..

' Where is the king?' Jin asked

' Probably up to some bullshit' Jimin mumbled earning as glare from Taehyung

' Something might have came up in the pack house' Taehyung excused

' Ok then...Will meet you soon ' Namjoon hugged Taehyung who returned it with a smile

Jin came forward as he ruffled the younger's hair and whispered ' I'll send more sweets with Jungkook tonight'

Taehyung gleamed in happiness hearing that as he nodded

' You all are leaving? ' Hyorin asked rushing in with a container ' Here my king...I have packed some dumplings for you'

' Thankyou so much ajumma' Jin grinned taking it

Jungkook looked at Taehyung who had a big smile as he looked at the interaction of the two families

Jungkook took one last glance at the omega before he leaned back into the carriage... He saw the worried looks shared by Jin and Namjoon

' What?' Jungkook asked

' Kook...he-'

' Joon hyung' Jungkook stopped him ' I hope the fact that Taehyung is your brother won't make you back out now...will it?'

Namjoon sighed as he shook his head hapf heartedly.
