Maids ran around the corridors.. the guards on full alert..the kingdom fully awake even when the darkest night crept in...the sky was filled with dark clouds behind from which the moon trying to peek out...trying to get a glimpse of the chaos that was forming in the palace

The great alpha king of Alwarak was walking back and forth outside his mate's chamber... listening to her louds cried...as he waited for her to give birth to his first born...

The midwife worked her way through as the queen cried in pain...the maids wiping her sweat off as she yearned to hear her child's voice

' This is getting complicated ' The midwife said to the queen's most loyal maid Hyorin ' His majesty has to make a choice..go ask him'

A maid walked out of the chamber bowing to the King

' You majesty... The midwife has asked you to make a choice.... It's difficult to save them both'

' Save my child....for he is my heir... I won't need that pathetic omega anymore if my child is alive' The king said as the maid bowed again walking back

The midwive's blood boiled when sheheard the king's cruel words... She looked at the beautiful queen who looked way too pale

' Just a bit more my Luna... Your pup will be out soon' The midwife said as she stroked the queen's hair...

The clouds cleared out as the night walked down the sky with the moon in her arms... lighting up the kingdom..millions of stars embellished the velvety sky as the loud cries of the new born filled the land...

' It's a boy my Luna' The midwife said showing the crying child to the queen whose wide smile faltered the instant she saw the child open his eyes

' Jihye' The luna whispered ' I..I know I w-will be gone soon... Please ta-take care of my child.. the king' She drew in a deep breath ' The king will ki-kill him... Promise me.. not as the midwife you are.. instead as my best friend...as my child's god mother'

The midwife whose name was Jihye held her best friend's hand ' I promise you Chaeyeon...I promise to protect him with my life'

The cries of the child got louder as the queen took her last breath... The maids covered her body with white clothes as they mourned their kind queen's death

Jihye cleaned the child... wrapping him in a clean silk cloth..as she caressed the smooth skin of the little angel

Oh my moon goddess why you are sending such a pure soul to this devil's life... Please send someone who can protect this soft petal from the storm he is about to go through

Jihye prayed as she walked out with the baby in her arms...

' Your Majesty ' Jihye bowed ' Your Prince'

A wide smile adorned the alpha's face when he heard it ' A Prince! Chaeyeon was of some use finally.. for she gave me a son' He exclaimed walking towards her... ' Show me my boy'

Jihye held the baby out for the king to take him...only to see him going still..

' Your Majesty?'

' An omega' He yelled looking at the ocean blue orbs of the baby ' A male omega? A disgrace to me...a disgrace to this whole kingdom'

' Guards! Announce the queen's death along with the news of the still birth of the child' The cruel king ordered ' Kill this omega'

' No.... Please your majesty... Don't do that...he is just an innocent child ' Jihye cried ' Don't harm him... Please'

The king looked at the crying woman...his eyes darting all over her body as a sly smirk bloomed on his face

' Are you mated?' He asked..

Jihye frowned ' No your majesty'

' You want me to spare this creature?' He aksed pointing at the baby

' Yes please' She said

' Then you have to let me mate you... you have to carry my child and give me an alpha' His evil voice said making every single one present there shocked

' What?' Jihye looked at him bewildered

' Submit..or I'll kill this boy in your hands' The king said

Jihye looked at the head guard standing just behind the king...her childhood love..Jaewan...the one whom she had dreamed of as her mate...Her helpless eyes conveyed every single word her voice failed to..as Jaewan's heart broke

Jaewan subtly nodded his head...for he was loyal to his deceased Luna...his sister...his Chaeyeon whose life was ruined by the ruthless king...Kim Junghyun

' You won't want that right? Guar-'

' What if my child won't be an alpha' She asked cutting off the King

' Then I'll kill you three' The king shrugged as if it was as simple as plucking off a weed from the garden... 'Or I'll just keep you with me till you give me an alpha!'

' I agree' Jihye said...her eyes brimming with tear as she held the baby close to her heart

A dirty smirk played on the king's lips as he said ' I will wait for you in my chamber you omega'

' Jihye' Jaewan rushed to her as soon as the King left with his guards..

' Why is this happening to us Jae? Why is he so cruel' She cried..still holding onto the baby

' Moon goddess will make him suffer my love' Jaewan cupped her cheeks 'But we have to do this for our Chae....we couldn't save her from this monster... atleast we can save her child' he said as he slowly took the baby in his arms

' Isn't he beautiful?' Hyorin, the most trusted maid and their best friend... asked as she looked at the baby

' He indeed is' Jaewan looked at him lovingly...'He deserve the world' He said pecking his forehead

' Jihye...we need to go' Hyorin's depressed voice made Jaewan look at his beautiful lover

' Jae... always remember that no one can ever take your place in my heart' Jihye said kissing her lover one last time before walking away with Hyorin as Jaewan's eyes lingered on his forever love

' Don't worry pup... I'll protect you from everyone' Jaewan promised as the child looked at him with wide doe eyes

' Park Jihye' The king called as he entered the chamber where Jihye was already waiting for him...all dolled up on the bed ' Aren't you a real beauty' He said smirking as his fingers traced her soft cheeks

Jihye swatted his hands away as she stood up 'Before you touch me..you have agree to my conditions Junghyun'

' How dare you call your King by his name?' Junghyun growled but Jihye stood her place

' I'll let you touch me only if you agree to it' She said confidently

' Am not that desperate for you Jihye...I can get anyone'

' You will get no one... no one would ever want a king who was cursed by a midwife' Jihye smirked when she saw the man going pale 'And no king can ever have an offspring if cursed by a midwife

' What do you want?' Junghyun took in a deep breath

' My first condition is.. make me the Luna... Give importance to the decisions that I take' Jihye saw the way the alpha's eyes turned red

' Next' He nodded

' Second... You won't dare to harm my Chaeyeon's child... I'll be the one raising him up... I'll be the one taking decisions for him..you Will Not interfere no matter what and about my child...you won't interact with him in my absence'

' If my child turns out to be a male alpha... don't ever get involved with any other woman and...he will carry my surname..he will be a Park..not a Kim'

' Next' The alpha was running out of patience now

' It's fine unnie...this is nothing in front of the cruel fate the baby is going to face... I have to keep him safe no matter what' Jihye leaned back...each and every part of her body stinging..' Where is my baby?'

' He is with Jaewan' Hyorin said...' Now sleep.. you need rest... I'll bring some clothes for you'

Oh my moon goddess... make him beg for his death....make him suffer...send someone who can save us all from his clutches Hyorin prayed looking at the full moon

Words spread like wild fire about the king mating a midwife... All the people in Alwarak felt bad for the omega who had to meet such a cruel fate....they all were shattered hearing about the death of their dear Luna... but when they heard about the omega prince's birth all they wanted was to protect the poor soul but they knew it's not possible.. they knew that the child will always be hidden behind the palace walls as long as the king is alive.... they knew that for the king the child would be nothing more than a burden...for male omegas were very rare and considered a myth...they were considered the weakest and the King would just see him as a disgrace...but for the people the child will be the last sovinier left by their dear luna...the child will forever be their treasure..that would be hidden away from the whole world as some long forgotten myth...but the people of Alwarak will cherish him as the forbidden treasure of Alwarak

Months passed by...Jihye was pregnant and was nearing the day when she will give birth...all the while praying to Moon goddess to bless her with an alpha... not because she is scared for her life..no...she is scared for the innocent soul who was now lying on her lap...her late Luna's omega prince...Kim Taehyung

Jaewan had selected the name for the baby who was his Jihye's and Hyorin's world now....oh also of Hyorin's little boy Yoongi who just recently turned six... Yoongi would always be found sticking close to the baby... playing with his silver locks...once in a while poking his soft bread cheeks

Jihye was caressing the baby's soft hair when she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen...she knew what it is...she slowly placed the baby down on the silk sheets but before she could move an inch a sharp contraction made her cry out in pain..which caught little Yoongi's attention

' Yoongi ah...ca-call your eomma' Jihye managed to say as Yoongi ran out

Jaewan and Hyorin were quick to come to the chamber making her lie down on the bed...a mid wife came in an instant and the King was informed

Minutes passed by and all he could hear were the screams of Jihye... Junghyun was getting impatient and was walking back and forth when something caught his attention...the small omega wrapped in a bundle of soft pink silk sheets in one of the maid's arm

' What is that disgusting thing doing here?' The king growled..his strong alpha scent making the child cry out...

' It was her order to bring young prince here' Jaewan spoke up as he took the child into his own arms.. slowly rocking him making him stop crying...all this while the king looked at them with pure disgust

A loud scream was heard followed by the cries of a baby... everyone's ears perked up at that as they waited for the midwife to comeout and share the news

Jaewan held the small body close to his chest..he heard his heart beating at a faster pace..his one arm was already around his sword as he held the baby near ro his heart..as all bad thoughts filled his mind what if it's not an alpha...I can't loose Taehyung nor Jihye..nor the baby...oh my moon goddess please help us

' Your Majesty' The midwife bowed respectfully 'The alpha prince'

The relief they all felt couldn't be expressed in words as the new born alpha prince came as a savior

' Show me my son' The king said proudly

' Am afraid I can't your Majesty' The midwife said

' Why?'

' The now luna has ordered me to not show you the prince unless it is in her presence'

Junghyun gritted his teeth in anger...How dare she call herself the luna! .. The king dashed into the room startling everyone

' How dare you proclaim yourself my Luna?' King growled ' How dare you forbid me from seeing my own son?'

' I never called myself your luna... I am the Luna of Alwarak...' Jihye said..her voice giving off her exhaustion ' Think about the conditions which I had placed in front of you Junghyun.... you were so greedy in having an alpha that you didn't even listen to them properly' A dry chuckle left her mouth ' Hyorin ah... Tell Jaewan to announce it to our subjects that their alpha prince is born and their new Luna will be crowned the next day... Tell them that the omega prince and the alpha prince will be brought in the presence of everyone to get their blessings in two days...'

' Yes luna' Hyorin bowed as she left

Junghyun felt his blood boiling and was about to lash out when he heard the cries of the alpha prince...he immediately turned on his heels.. heading towards the prince taking him in his arms... His deep red eyes were enough for the king to get high on happiness...his eyes glimmering in joy as he ran his fingers through the tuft of raven locks above the baby's head

' I don't care what you do Jihye.... This prince is enough for me... He will be the next Kim-'

' Park' Jihye cut him off ' He will be a Park....You really need to go back and recollect your promises'

Junghyun..on hearing that..set the baby back into the wooden crib as he is walked out...a low growl leaving him

On the other hand.. Jaewan had announced it to the whole kingdom about the birth of their new prince... A part of them were glad that the king won't kill their new Luna nor the two innocent souls...while another part of them were scared.. what if the the alpha prince also turn out to be like their now king...

Jaewan was on cloud nine even though a part of him was hurt...he was sad that he couldn't make his love his mate...nor could he start a family with her... But when he saw Jihye holding both the new born child and Taehyung close to her..he felt his dream come true...his dream of seeing Jihye with his kids...even though both the kids were of Junghyun he knew that the alpha king would never provide them with the fatherly affection they both needed... And now he was determined to give both the children all the good values that a father should give their children...he will make sure that there will be no other Junghyun again in that palace

Finally the day came when the subjects would get a glance of their new princes... the whole kingdom was assembled in front of the royal palace..on the balcony of which stood the new Luna with the two princes and the alpha King

' Greetings from The Majesty to everyone assembled here...You all must have known about the birth of our two princes....and also about our new Luna Park Jihye' Jaewan said as the crowed bowed to their luna.... Jihye was a prominent figure among the locals..she had a very dear place among them which was one of the reasons for which the subject were thankful to the moon goddess as they knew that the kind omega will protect the two Princes

' Now... The Alpha and Luna of Alwarak will be introducing our princes to you all'

Jihye smiled as she came forward

' To the people of Alwarak... Am extremely hurt for the untimely demise of our luna and my best friend..but before going she had made me promise to take care of her only child...the Omega prince of Alwarak Kim Taehyung'

Gasps were heard all around when Jihye raised the baby a bit so that they all could see him... The people stood wonderstruck seeing the child...the ethreal blue eyes stared at them as small silver strands fell on his forehead...the light natural blush on his bread cheeks stood out giving off a soft warm aura...the honey skin glazing under the sun as the people of Alwarak stood mesmerized by the beauty of their omega prince

' Long live prince Kim Taehyung' Jaewan hailed as the crowed followed behind

Junghyun was visibly irritated with all the attention Taehyung was getting..he saw the way the people stared at him with gleaming eyes... taking in the unrealistic charm of the child..

' Now meet my son...the next alpha King of Alwarak Kim-'

' Park' Jihye cut him off... Junghyun's eyes flashed a firey red as he glared at the omega who stood unaffected

' The Crown Prince Park Jimin' Junghyun held the baby high...his pretty red orbs wandered all over as the tuft of raven locks swayed a bit in the air...his snow white skin glistened in the sun as the people hailed for their alpha prince....

Both the kids were held high for the whole kingdom to see...Just a glimpse of them and anyone could say that the kids are going to be the stark opposite of each other...the silver locks and soft blue eyes of their crown prince gave off warmth whereas the red eyes and the raven locks gave off power...

Hails and chants for their both Princes continued as Jihye and Jaewan locked eyes with each other....a warm smile on their lips as they quietly promised each other to protect both the kids from the cruel clutches of their king

But will they be able to keep their promises? After all some promises are meant to be broken
