"Yo, what's going on with you?" Hawk asked Alexa as they stood outside of the All Valley, the Castillo girl really off today. "Come on, this is an important day."

"Yeah, I know." she mumbled, shrugging him off as she got lost in her head again.

Hawk turned his head to an angry Miguel, punching his fist forward. "Yo, Miguel, calm down, man. Save some for the tournament."

Miguel only sent a side glare, going back to his angry punches. Aisha shook her head. "Hey, don't even bother. He's been super aggro ever since the breakup."

Hawk turned to look at Alexa again, sitting on the bench and messing with her shoes. "All right. What's going on with you? Demetri put you in a bad mood?"

"No." Alexa cracked a minor grin as he wrapped an arm around her. "Just some family thing."

"Some family thing. Right." Hawk nodded, shaking her with the one arm. "Meaning what?"

"Meaning my dads dead." Alexa said, Miguel stopped his punches as they all looked over on sync.

"What?!"

"Yup, dead." Alexa confirmed with a long exhale. "As in no longer alive."

"Jesus, Lex." Aisha sat on the other side of her. "I'm so sorry."

"He deserved it." Alexa shrugged, crossing her legs so either of her knees touched the two beside her. "It still suck though, I guess. I don't know. Not really. But at the same time, yeah."

Miguel sighed, looking down at her, being the only one stood. "You wanna talk about him?"

"Nah, you'd all probably run for the hills." Alexa shrugged, leaning over some as Hawk continued to rub her shoulders. "I just want to take my anger out on some bitch ass dojos."

"Yeah, that's are girl." Aisha grinned, rubbing her upper back.

"Where's Sensei? The tournaments gonna start soon." Hawk looked around for any sight of the blonde sensei.

"He'll be here." Aisha rolled her eyes.

"I don't know about that." Bert spoke honestly with a minor sigh.

Aisha stared. "What are you talking about?"

"I saw him last night at the mini-mall." Bert explained to the four older teens. "I was buying a carton of milk when I heard him in the parking lot, yelling. He was peeing on some car and yelling about how we were all gonna die."

"You didn't think to mention anything to us?" Alexa looked in disbelief at the small boy.

"I guess i'm just use to seeing him drunk, it didn't seem like that big of a deal." Bert shrugged his shoulders in return.

"Well, we're here, and he's not. So it's officially a big deal." Hawk argued with him in annoyance and anger. Alexa slapped his arm to get him to lay off some. "What if something happened to him?"

"Like what?" Bert stared up at him.

"Like he got trapped in a bathroom and had teeth dropped at his feet." Alexa pointed out, making the group look oddly. "Sorry, I was having a reoccurring drunk dream about Halloween."

"Or bought a gun and blew his brains out." Hawk added into Alexas words.

"No. Sensei would never kill himself. That's too pussy of a move." Aisha pointed out with a shake of her head.

Alexa shook her head with an exhale.

"Whatever. I mean, we're here. We're gonna have to do it without him." Hawk continued to get worked up over the matter.

"Do what without me?" a familiar voice rung, making them look over as Johnny walked up to the group.

"Sensei." Aisha smiled.

"We didn't think you were gonna show up." Hawk shoved his fingers, aside his thumbs, into his pockets.

"I may not always win but I never back out of a fight." Johnny shook his head.

"Fantastic." Alexa exhaled with a nod of her head. "So, let's get in there."

"Let's sign up." Miguel agreed with a nod of his head.

"Not yet." Johnny looked between the two. "There's one more lesson I have to teach you.

Johnny circled Cobra Kai around the corner of the All Valley. "You've all learned to strike first, to be aggressive, not be losers. I taught you to strike hard, put everything ounce of your power behind everything you do. But I haven't taught you the third rule of Cobra Kai. No mercy. The older you get, the more you're gonna learn that life isn't fair. You wake up one morning feeling great, then life throws a spinning heel kick to your balls, takes a big steaming shit in your mouth. You get an F on a test, you get suspended. You fall in love with a girl, some other dude comes and steals her away. Car gets set on fire. Your nerd boyfriend pisses you off. Just when you think things are going good, everything falls apart. That's how it goes. Life shows no mercy, so neither do we. We do whatever it takes to keep our heads above water. We do whatever it takes to keep moving forward. We do whatever it takes to win! Remember who you are. You're badass! You don't give a shit. You kick ass. You're Cobra Kai!"

"Cobra Kai!" Miguel yelled out loudly.

"Yeah!" the rest of the students yelled on sync after.

"All right, guys. Let's get you down there and kick the shit out of everybody!" Johnny encouraged, patting Alexa on the shoulder harshly, watching as they all pulled their white gis from their bags. "No. You're not wearing those."

"Do you see Moon and Meat?" Alexa tried to look out of the curtain, shoving with Hawk as they looked for any sign of the two. "You think they'd ditched up? Ran away? Hoped on a train to Germany and never looked back?"

"Would you cool it?" he huffed, pulling her back with a stern look. "You gotta chill out."

"I'm trying, but I keep thinking and now I feel sick." Alexa exhaled, shaking her head. "Tell me what to do, Hawk. I'm gonna kill myself with all these thoughts."

"Forget your stupid family." he gave her a stern look, shaking his head. "You have been looking forward to this day since we found out we were coming. Don't let anything ruin it."

"Gonna try." Alexa exhaled with a nod of her head.

"Just get out there, put all your anger into the match, like Sensei taught us." he spoke down to her, a questionable look in his eye. "You think you can do that?"

Alexa looked back to the team, all getting ready for their announcement. "I think so."

"Good." Hawk grinned, slapping her back, dragging her by the elbow. "Come on, we're gonna get announced soon."

"From Reseda, returning to the tournament, we have-" Daryl began, stopping as Johnny clapped his hands and encouraged the group to run onto the mat.

"Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!" the teens of the dojo chanted, jogging in their respectable lines onto the mat, taking their place. The crowd cheered for their intense.

"Now that's what I call an entrance!" Daryl announced with his own laugh himself. "And a badass name for a dojo! Let's hear it for Cobra Kai!"

"Whoo, go Hawk!" Moon cheered, Alexa looked over to see Demetri sitting with her, giving a subtle grin as he waved her way.

"And finally, fighting unaffiliated from North Hills, we have Mr.Robby Keene." Daryl announced the final person, just one boy running out, passing Cobra Kai. Alexa watched him go, thinking she'd seen him before when he met her eye as he passed, but genuinely didn't remember much of anything that happened the night before. "All right, folks. Get ready. It's karate time."
