T

Time sure is passing fast, huh? Soon, it'll run out.

Will I be forgotten, then? Simply another small fragment in history that'll wash away as time passes by once more?

~°☐°~

You walked along the stone path, watching as cherry blossoms twirled and danced in the air, floating and spinning in and eternal dance.

They were so pretty, but so easily destroyed.

Just like people.

"E-xcuse me, miss, could you help take a photo of my boyfriend and I?" pausing your walk, you looked to see a girl, holding out her camera for you to take. "There cherry blossoms are really n-nice.." you felt your lips tug up in a smile, and you gently took the camera from her hands.

"Of course! Go stand where you want to, and give me a nod when you're ready!" you sounded so optimistic, you wondered if they knew it was fake?

Waiting until the girl nodded, you held the baby blue camera up to your eye, and squinted, trying to get a clear photo. Pressing the button, you took three photos, just in case.

The girl was held to her boyfriend's chest, his arm circling around her protectively. She was holding onto him as well, and they both smiled sweetly at the camera. She had an uncanny resemblance to you, and the boy looked like-

You wondered if you'd ever see Todoroki smile that way towards you?

"All done! Here you go!" you cheered, feeling the clear texture of flowers and thorns rising in your throat, and handed the girl the camera.

"Have a great day!" waving, you stopped dead in your tracks when you heard the girl speak.

"You don't have to pretend, you know." ignoring her, you picked up your pace, digging your nails into the strap of your bag. "It's better to let it out sometimes." coughing up flowers and hiding them in your palm, you thought but what she had said.

Maybe she was right?

You didn't want to risk anything, though.

Soon, you came into view of UA, and with it, its massive gates.

Truly a sight to behold.

Stuffing the flower into your pocket, you ignored the bits of dried blood on your hands and walked forwards, eager to get to class earlier than usual.

"Good morning, [l/n]." your head shot towards the voice so quickly it would've made Iida jealous. In fact, you twisted your neck so fast, you almost snapped it.

HE WAS SPEAKING TO YOU JBSKJBKAJBSKJABKSJBASAK-

"Morning, Todoroki-kun!" you replied, cheerfully. You mustn't let anyone know that something is wrong, they didn't need to be dragged into this.

They didn't need to know.

Todoroki inclined his head your way as he sank into his seat, resting his chin onto his palm and gazing out the window. You found yourself staring at his back, wondering.

After four years, why'd he suddenly jump at you?

You were always the one who greeted him first.

"Good morning, Todoroki-kun," Yaoyorozu smiled kindly as she passed by his seat, and you saw a small smile grace his lips before he nodded at her. Looking away, your gaze met the Bakusquad's, and you saw them tense up before looking away.

Fun.

"Toda-"

Zoning out once more for the rest of class, you smiled ruefully. Where was the point in paying attention?

You were due to die in two days, anyways.

Perhaps some would think you's accepted the fact too easily, but you didn't mind. It wasn't the concept of death that you feared, but what happened after.

Maybe you would just stop seeing, feeling, hearing?

Would your consciousness just..disappear?

Maybe you would reincarnate?

You didn't know, and that scared you.

Would you remember Todoroki?

"[l/n], please hurry up and leave, so I can go to sleep," looking up, you saw the tired face of your sensei staring down at you. What you didn't see, though, was the flash of concern. Quickly packing your things, you bowed slightly before rushing out of the school, still deep in thought.

One thought, however, troubled you immensely.

Would he remember you?

If years passed, and he reached his goal, and became a hero, would he remember you?

And the promise the two of you made?

Sighing, you trudged along the path, feeling thorns rise up and up, but you couldn't care less. Looking up, you felt tears trace their way down your cheeks as you sobbed. Wiping your eyes angrily with your sleeve, you choked out thorns and threw them onto the concrete ground, dismissing the fact that there was more thorns now.

Passing by the cafe once more, it was empty and dark, the complete opposite of the bright building that you had seen the other day.

For a moment, you thought you saw a familiar blur of white and red in your peripheral vision. Huffing, you smiled once more.

You were even imagining him now, huh?

"[l/n]," you heard, and turned to see Todoroki standing behind you with a calm stare. Nodding to him, you backed up a few steps.

"Hey, Todoroki-kun! What brings you here?" plastering your mask on once more, you let your bubbly self emerge as you grinned up at the tall male.

"I was going to request that we train tomorrow after school, if you are able," he spoke slowly, his heterochromatic eyes scanning you. You thought for a moment, and smiled, nodding your head.

"Sure! Does after school work for you?" you questioned, and he nodded, before turning and waving to you.

"See you then, [l/n]," your heart hurt, why'd he still call you by your last name? Forcing down your thorns, you managed to keep your smile on, replying right before he started walking.

"Of course! See you..later."
