"WELL, WELL, WELL, THERE'S our girl." Kol excitedly got up from the sofa that he was comfortably laying on and went to greet his baby sister.

"Get out of my way, Kol." Rebekah tried to get past her brother, but he kept blocking her, the smile on his face only growing by the second.

"Out all night, what a scandal. I trust you did better than that commoner. What was his name? Matt, was it?"

"If you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth. Besides, don't you fancy Cecile, who I might say is a human too?"

Kol's wicked smirk soon faded away at the name of Cecile. He couldn't help but feel protective if anyone said her name in a threatening way. He stepped closer to Rebekah, towering over his sister.

"Say another word about Cecile, you will repent it." His tone of voice was genuinely serious, catching the ears of his siblings, not ever hearing him like this.

"Aww, it's not like you can protect her, you did compel her to forget about you." About to attack his sister, Kol went after Rebekah but was cut off by Klaus calling his name.

"Brother, is it true that you fancy the Salvatore's niece? She is quite dashing, I shall say myself."

Kol scoffed, trying to play it off as 'cool'. "What? No, I only use her as my personal blood bag, nothing else." Kol tried to hide the fact that he was lying, but he couldn't fool Klaus.

"Okay then, I guess that means I can use her as my blood bag as well. Let's go-" Before Klaus could proceed out the door, Kol vamp sped to his brother and pinned him on the wall.

"You will not dare touch her." The red eyes and the veins started to rush on Kol's face, making Klaus smirk in victory. Klaus pushed Kol off of him and gave him a sadistic smile.

"Alright then, let's go have some fun, and don't worry, brother, we will not do any harm to your...human."

Kol gave Klaus one last glare before turning back into his witty and sarcastic self, the sadistic smile plastered on his face.

"Okay, then. Let's go have some fun brother."

"Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around it in."

"Just like you, Bekah." Rebekah glared at her brother, then threw her six-inch heel at him, making him dodge it barely by an inch.

"Good riddance, both of you!"

"Can you tell my uncle that I'm trying to have quality time with my friend?" Cecile was attempting to take a swig of Alaric's alcohol, but he quickly stopped her and snatched it back. Alaric just got off the phone with Damon and Cecile couldn't help but notice that he was acting slightly suspicious.

"First of all, your uncle is my friend. And second, you're underage, so no drinking." Alaric gave her a serious look as Cecile groaned in defeat. Alaric was like a father figure to Cecile and she couldn't be any more grateful for him, but there were times where he could be a pain in the ass.

"Fine, how about we play some pool?" Before Alaric could answer, a familiar voice came up from behind Cecile, noticing exactly who it was. The British accent was a slight giveaway.

"Oh come on now, haven't you heard it's rude to ignore people?" Cecile turned around to see Klaus with Kol by his side. Rolling her eyes, she tried to get up from her seat, but Kol flashed in front of her, preventing her from standing up.

"Ah, ah, ah, I wouldn't do that if I were you, darling." Not even caring to listen to him, Cecile pushed Kol out of her way and went to a pool table, deciding to play a game with a stranger.

"Hey, you got time to lose some money?" Cecile placed her ten-dollar bill on the table, making the man smirk, intrigued on the bet.

"Oh, honey, it's you that's going to lose." The man was rather handsome for his age. Looked to be around the late teens to early twenties.

The pair played a few rounds of pool as eventually, the man won, but that didn't refrain him from having a confidence surge as he started to get a little too comfortable with Cecile.

"So now that I won, how about we get out of here, huh? I know a good place for fun." The man winked and Cecile looked at him in disgust. "I'm not going anywhere with you. We played a game of pool, that's it, so don't think otherwise, creeper."

Before Cecile could walk away, the man harshly grabbed her wrist, almost yanking her outside the door. But before the man could go far, Kol stood in front of him with his reputable sinister smile.

"It would be wise to let the girl go before things get worse for you, mate." The man didn't listen and obviously didn't care who Kol was, thinking that he was able to beat him just because he was a skinny boy.

"Oh, I'm just taking my girlfriend out for fresh air. It's nothing." Frustrated by the man's lies, Kol swiftly grabbed his wrist and twisted it barbarically, earning a yelp from the man.

"Do not test me. Let. Her. Go." Of course, Kol could have just compelled the man, but he didn't find any pleasure with that plan, so he decided to give the man pain, which he indefinitely deserved.

The man finally let go of Cecile and ran out of the door, scared for his life. Cecile sighed in relief, knowing that was a close catch. Too close.

"A woman of your caliber ought to choose more suitable company. You must be careful with people like that." Cecile and Kol were walking back towards the pool tables, trying to set up another game for them to play.

"Well, I guess I should question myself right now. Don't know if I should consider you as the best company." Kol had a stifled laugh escape his lips, only making Cecile more annoyed by his presence.

"You know, love, you are extraordinarily resilient when it comes to your personality. I like that."

"And you are extraordinarily annoying. Let's play this one game and get it over with." Kol took this opportunity as a challenge and wanted to set up a bet with Cecile. A more reasonable one, of course, considering her last game.

"Now why would we want to get this over with? I enjoy your company, Cecile. How about this, you win, I'll leave you alone, but if I win, you have to go on a date with me."

Kol's offer was intriguing to Cecile, considering the fact that there is a possibility that he will leave her alone, but she knew deep inside that it was not likely to happen. Knowing that there was really no way out of this, Cecile agreed to Kol's bet and tried her best to win anyways.

"Okay then, let's play." Kol smiled and started off with him hitting the 8-ball. Cecile's heart rate started to beat faster as Kol consistently hit his balls in the basket.

Kol could distinctly hear Cecile's heart rate speed up and it made him smile confidently. "What's wrong, love? Worried that I'm going to beat you?"

"Nope, I'm worried that I'll actually have to go on a date with you." Kol put a hand on his chest overdramatically, acting to be offended.

At last, Kol hit the 8-ball in the pocket, leaving with Cecile to keep her word on that bet. Now she has to go on a date with Kol.

"Well, don't you look at that. Now, where shall we go on this date?"

"For the record, it's not a 'date', it's only a hangout, so don't get your hopes up." Kol's eyes saddened slightly, however, he knew it was going to be hard to let Cecile fall for his charms.

For the first time ever, Cecile was actually the first person to resist his charms, which was offputting for Kol. But he enjoyed the chase as it made it more fun for him.

"Now, shall we have a chat about your former lover. Matt, was it? I want to know what happened." The good night that Cecile was having, soon faded as Kol mentioned Matt's name, quickly making her upset. Sure it was already a lot to have to work with him, but talking to him was another story.

"That's none of your business, so get lost." Cecile's snappy remark didn't faze him as Kol stood in front of her, slowly looking at her up and down.

"Now why would I do that? I like pretty little things with sharp tongues." As he touched her cheek, Cecile quickly slapped it away, glaring at him immensely.

"Pretty sure she told you to get lost."

"Pretty sure I don't care." His sadistic attitude was starting to rise as Kol turned to Alaric and was about to strike at him, but beating him to it, Alaric daggered Kol.

Cecile let out a gasp, completely oblivious to the fact that Alaric was going to dagger him.

"What the hell, Ric? Why would you dagger him?"

"I thought you didn't like him?" That was partially true. Cecile wasn't fond of Kol, but she didn't hate him either. It was a confusing relationship between the pair.

"I don't like him, but you shouldn't have daggered him like that." Alaric looked at Cecile confusingly, wondering why she was acting like this, but he brushed it off and took Kol outside.

Eventually, as Alaric was taking care of Kol, Damon appeared out of nowhere and grabbed his niece, speeding away back to the Salvatore boarding house.

Cecile groaned as she woke up in her bed back at home, her last memory being that Damon took her as Kol was being daggered.

Getting up from her bed immediately, Cecile ran downstairs hoping to find anyone home, but it was empty. After finally letting everything sink in, all she could think about was how Kol was going to react, thinking that she knew about daggering him.

The Mikaelson's tempers were something that wasn't a secret and considering the siblings, Cecile could only imagine how Kol was going to retaliate against her. Interrupting her thoughts, the doorbell rang, making Cecile scrunch her eyebrows in confusion.

Opening the door, Cecile's eyes widened in fear, her heart suddenly beating faster after seeing who was standing right in front of her.

"Hello darling, I think it's time that we have a little chat."
