Sanatan Dharma
We all have heard of this term Sanatan Dharma, but do you know the actual meaning of it ?
Almost everywhere this term is being misunderstood. People think Sanatan Dharma is all about hinduism. But no it is not limited to this.
Sanatan Dharma - A religion which is ancient and eternal.
Nowadays we associate the term dharma with religion. Maybe it is true ? Well I am not a English scholar.....
But the original meaning of dharma is duty. When we say that - ek sainik ka dharm hai apni mitti ki raksha karna, we don't see it as uska religion hai aisa karna. No, ye uski duty hai.
The accurate meaning of Sanatan dharma according to me is 'The Eternal Duty of a Living Being'.
It is not about worshipping the deities, it is about following your duties, it's about keeping your morals and values intact. By following Sanatan Dharma you are not following Hinduism, you are following your duties.
Each and every duties and practices have it's own significance and meaning. Nothing is baseless or illogical here, if you will dwell into it you will find that everything is related to your own good and obviously to the prakriti's good.
Now from here the text is copied as I find this very accurate and to the point.
DHARMA- Righteousness
Dharmo rakshati rakshitaha."
Dharma- Righteousness protect those who protects it.
To find out what is Dharma and what is Adharma, apply this one test: If it goes counter to Truth and Love, it is Adharma (unrighteous). If it promotes Truth and Love or is full of both, it is Dharma. Your looks must ever be compassionate, Your words must ever be soaked in truth, And your feelings must ever be nectarine.
SATYA- TRUTH
Satyam nasti paro dharmah.
There is no Dharma greater than satya. If there is no satya, there cannot be any Dharma.
Truth has 8 aspects in life.
▪ Speak Truth,
▪ See the Truth
▪ Hear Truth
▪ Act with Truth
▪ Eat that is truthfully earned
▪ Think on the line of Truth
▪ Do True Karma
▪ Be in the Company of Truth
~ Where there is Satya and Dharma there will be Love and Peace ~
The four legs of Sanatan Dharma are Satya, Dharma, Santi and Prema.
Forbearance is the real beauty in this sacred land of Bharat. Of all the rituals, adherence to truth is the greatest penance. The most nectarine feeling in this country is the feeling of love towards one's mother. ( Four mothers; of Body, Veda, Nature and Cow).

◼ Question of the day :-
Why we say 'Swaha' in every offering given into the fire of yagya ?
~ Follow your Dharma ~
