Ever since the beginning of the show, many viewers at home have questioned the reasons behind the departures of a few contestants, known to them due to the pre-show aimed at introducing the students in small groups to ease them into larger ones.

Among these, former child actor Yamada Yuuma's unannounced withdrawal became a hot topic as he had already grown a sizeable fanbase compared to many other contestants. Although his departure was originally dismissed as personal circumstances, a recent investigation by some fans of the Seiyuu Academy franchise seems to have finally found the real reason.

Fellow Class Four student and Representative Hiura Ashina seemingly scared off her poor classmate with her terrible flirting even before the show's airing. More than the news—especially as it seems to be more of an unfortunate situation than a serious incident—the audience is shocked to find out Ashina was straight all along.

The situation has caused severe discomfort to the audience at home, with many expressing their frustration on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.

Hello everyone! This is one of the two scheduled uploads for May 26, 2025. The note is the same in both chapters, and it only applies to the appliers specifically.

I am frankly tired of chasing people around trying to get them to read the updates in time. Now, some people have warned me beforehand they'd be inactive or at least they let me know they'd read in a second moment etc.. That's fine and understandable! I don't ask you to be active 24/7. I wouldn't be either, and as impatient as I am a few hours (or even a few days if warned in advance).

Then I have people who drop a quick vote on the chapter and don't read, don't vote on the form and don't give a fuck about anything happening in the work at all; you act worried at the prospect of not making it in too — and no wonder some complained about the active check being difficult too when it was literally the most basic things aside for the last few questions. Not even just getting less points, because everyone retains information in a different way so I don't judge too much, but having the audacity to complain about it? Alright...

Everyone has a life outside Wattpad, I will never deny that. But I also think that at some point there's a line that needs to be drawn with how you can act and expect me to be understanding. I've been very clear about the time I'd need people the most, even postponing a few times because of personal circumstances. I was VERY transparent about it and you should be too, but aside from a few appliers I rarely ever get the same consideration.
