Third
:Chapter Three:

"Are you going to tell me why exactly you and Jeongguk were just shooting daggers at one another or does Scooby Doo have to come solve that mystery?" Hoseok wondered, unlocking his vehicle and getting into the driver's side while Taehyung slipped into the passenger seat.

"We were not shooting daggers, Seok." Argued Taehyung. "We just so happened to stare with deep hatred and anger."

"Already? The dude is brand new and you already decided to make him an enemy?" Hoseok rolled his eyes. "Unbelievable. What happened to you two being in love at first sight?"

"We were never that."

"Can't you ever have fun?" Hoseok huffed, pushing his keys in to start up the engine. "Oh, is this one of those cringy Wattpad love stories? Rivals who actually have this unbearable sexual tension between them? You want to fuck his brains out, don't you?"

Taehyung snapped his head over, he gave Hoseok the most disgusted look he could muster. "What the fuck, Seok? First off, why do you know about 'cringy Wattpad stories' and secondly, ew. Just ew." He shook his head in clear disappointment for the elder. "Things just didn't click."

"No but soon you two will realize that whatever beef you guys had was petty and then notice your undying love. Plus, you didn't deny the fact that you wanted to fuck him." Hoseok cheekily smiled, not daring to look over at Taehyung.

The aforementioned hit his arm, looking away from Hoseok who was insufferable. "I don't want to do that to him, Seok, now just shut up. That's disgusting on many different levels. I have a girlfriend, this guy is nothing but cocky, and, to top everything off, I'm sure he isn't even gay."

"So if he was, would you blow his back out?"

"Shut the fuck up. Just shut up, Hoseok, I'm done with this conversation. I'm about to walk my ass home." Taehyung faked a gag, pulling the seatbelt over him. "For a straight guy, you sure do talk about gay sex like it's nothing."

"I'm just trying to help my friend get some ass." The elder responded as if the conversation was normal and nothing out of the ordinary.

The younger of the two gave a bored look. "I have a girlfriend."

Hoseok pulled out of the parking spot, beginning to drive away from the school and take them to his house so they can clean up and go out for some friendly dinner together. "And? Have you guys had the sex yet?"

"I don't think I need to tell you if I had sex or not with her." Taehyung frowned, eyes looking out the window.

"So you didn't?"

"That's not what I'm saying."

"So you did?"

"I'm not saying that either."

"Then what are you saying? You're too much of a chicken to get it in or what?"

"Hoseok, shut up."

"I'm just asking, Taehyung. I mean, if you didn't have sex, that's totally fine too. Don't rush anything, I get it-"

"Yes." Taehyung caved in, not wanting to hear Hoseok go on about how saving your virginity was okay which it totally is. Virginity rocks.

Hoseok's eyes went a bit wide but he hummed. "Yes to bring a virgin or having sexual intercourse?"

"Me and Jihyun had sex before, now can you stop talking about sex?" Taehyung's cheek burned bright red with embarrassment.

Hoseok had other plans. He slammed on his breaks and turned to Taehyung. "You lost your virginity and didn't fucking tell me? You twink!" Shouted Hoseok.

"Could you be anymore louder? I don't think the people outside heard you!" Taehyung narrowed his brows and covered his face. "I don't need to tell you on what me and Jihyun do."

"Was it love? Did you guys make love?" Hoseok gave big doll eyes, leaning over and pulling Taehyung's arm down. "You're such a man now! Got to beat your balls off her cooch!"

Taehyung wanted to jump out onto the road and get ran over at this point. "Can you just drive? We'll talk about it when we're alone and not in the middle of the street. You're lucky no one is coming."

"I'm just so happy for you!" Hoseok announced even though it was more than obvious. He let go of the break and moved his foot back onto the gas petal, continuing the drive to his house.

The conversation about Taehyung's sex life quickly died down after Hoseok admitted his undying appreciation for Taehyung losing his virginity. It wasn't anything recent too which made this even funnier to Taehyung but he kept all his giggles on the inside.

Hoseok got them to his house, putting his vehicle in park. "You can clean up like always in my bathroom, just for the love of god, if you get water on the floor, can you clean it up?"

Taehyung unbuckled himself, sitting up. "I always clean it up." He claimed, getting out the car once it was unlocked.

"You are I both know that's a lie. You leave massive puddles on the floor. I walk in the bathroom and instantly, I'm greeted by a tsunami." Hoseok said in a bored tone.

The younger had his mouth hung a bit open, almost speechless. "I know for a fact I don't leave that much water."

"Pretty damn close."

"Small droplets don't equal to a tsunamis." Taehyung got out and shut the car door behind him, walking up to Hoseok's front door, waiting patiently for the aforementioned to follow. He didn't allow the elder to get any words in, cutting him off with getting out and going to the door.

Hoseok rolled his eyes to himself, taking the keys out and soon exiting himself.

They walked in, putting their phones on chargers and going separate ways to do things before they went out to grab some dinner together.

It was all friendly. Hoseok was straight and Taehyung was a taken bisexual.

Neither one of them got awkward, they didn't let their sexualities stop their bond growth, and they were doing really good. They hung out all the time, talked even though Hoseok was bad at listening, and would be practice partners.

They had a great friendship and they didn't let anything get between them, ever.

ย  ย ย  "So, him hitting farther than you doesn't bother you but something from years ago kills?" Hoseok asked, mouth full of food.

"It's not like I hit miles, Seok, you all just suck." He shrugged. "And it's not just 'something from years ago'." Taehyung added with a dull tone, slowly feeling stupid about the beef he created between himself and Newbie. It was too late to apologize for anything, at least to Taehyung. He doesn't apologize or do very well with saying sorries.

"Then what exactly is it?" Hoseok inquired, sneaking a bite out of Taehyung's chicken and rice. The younger noticed but didn't speak on it.

"Just . . . In middle school, he was a dick to me and my team when he beat us. We were undefeated at the time, thought we were one of the best teams because of it but they beat us and by a landslide, made us look like we all just started." Taehyung admitted. "And at the end of it, he rubbed it in my face specifically that I lost. Targeted me."

The brown-haired teenager was even more confused. "So, I should be mad at the Lions because they beat us every year?"

"Fuck, Seok, do you listen? Need a Q-tip to clean your ears out?"

"Q-tips are harmful to your ears, you shouldn't be using them."

"I fucking hate you, Hoseok, I really do." Taehyung leaned back and plopped his chopsticks down. "I hate him because he was so cocky, so freaking obsessed with himself and how good he was. He's the best player in Busan, maybe even Seoul."

"Like I said, beef for years ago." The elder set his own utensils down, sighing. "So what? It's been a few good years. He didn't seem too cocky on his hit during practice, who cares. Even if he was cocky, aren't you?"

"No." The blond-haired said. "What gives the impression that I am?"

"You never shut up about how good your pitch is getting, how great your batting became, and how you've only ever played baseball your entire life so you're going to be good."

". . ." Taehyung stared at Hoseok with an emotionless look. "How is that being cocky? I don't rub ever RBI I get, how I'm the most versatile player on the team, or brag about how awesome my throws are."

That's when the elder shared the same bored look, soon his lips twitching as he tried to hold a smile back. Within seconds, he burst into a laughing fit, hand clasped over his stomach and face turning bright red.

"I-? What?"

"You're naรฏve too! A whole dumb ass!" Hoseok hysterically laughed, head thrown back as he let out his undying laughter.

Taehyung didn't quite understand why he was being laughed at or what even was funny to begin with. "I'll tell Coach you need to run extra if you don't tell me what you find hilarious." The captain threatened.

"You!" Joyously Hoseok said, wiping away his tears. "'I'm not cocky' as you list other things you can do. Just because you don't say it, doesn't mean you're not cocky. It's the looks, the way you celebrate."

"No, I'm just silently confident."

"Sure, Taehyung, go on and tell yourself that. Don't complain when Jeongguk smirks when he hits a homerun."
