-Flashback-

Reyna and Suki were laughing with each other as Suki helped Reyna get ready for her date with Tej. Reyna had been teasing Tej about the possibility of a date after being arrested when they took down Carter Verone. She had finally agreed to it after Brian, Roman and Jimmy practically begged the girl to say yes so they wouldn't have to deal with Tej bringing it up all the time. They had finished curling her hair and touching up the makeup she had applied.

She slipped on some bracelets including the one she shared with Letty. She took one last look at her reflection before turning to Suki who smiled up at her, "You look beautiful, baby!" Reyna smiled before hugging Suki when a knock sounded at the door. The two girls smiled at each other as Suki adjusted Reyna's hair slightly causing her to swat her hand away. Suki made her way to the door and opened it with a smile before stepping around Tej, "Have fun."

Tej smiled at her before turning back to see Reyna standing there causing his mouth to drop open in shock as she interlocked her hands in front of her as she stood there nervous. "You, uh, you look beautiful," Tej finally spoke up once he'd taken it in, he slowly approached her with a smile. "Thank you. You look handsome," Reyna responded as she admired him in a suit, it was different but she didn't mind the view in front of her.

Reyna linked her arm with Tej as they made their way down to his car before they drove off to the restaurant that Tej had picked out for their date. They sat down and ordered their food before asking questions about each other learning one another past lives and passion for cars. Reyna was glad she finally said yes to the man seated across from her as he held her hand ignoring the looks from the restaurant, the two simply enjoying their company.

Reyna and Tej were unexpected to a lot of people. The two, despite their common interests, came from different worlds that were intertwined by fate. Reyna always wanted a love like her parents, something that sparked her soul to life. Something that made her heart run like NOS and her body shiver like a purr of an engine. She never expected Tej Parker to create a spark in her soul and now she was just waiting for it to alight with a trembling flame hoping it never burned her.

Once they had both finished their meal, she followed him back out to the car before smiling. "Can I drive? I hear there is a race tonight," Reyna spoke causing Tej to smile. He gave her the keys and go into the passenger seat as she sped off to where the race was, she stepped out to speak with the organizer putting in some money before getting back into the car with a wide smile. Tej watched as she relaxed into the seat, her hands gripping the steering wheel as she pulled up to the starting line.

He admired her as she closed her eyes taking in a deep breath before revving the engine at the perfect time letting the others know she was ready. The moment the word "Go" left their mouth she was speeding off with full concentration on the road ahead of her. Her body was racing with adrenaline as a Camaro caught up to her teasing her for first place, she smirked before looking at Tej who simply shrugged with a smile on his face.

She readied the NOS as she shifted gears and with a smile and the finish line in sight, she flicked the switch for the NOS speeding past the Camaro and taking first place in the race. Reyna and Tej cheered together as she turned the car around to collect the money for the race, handing a few bills to the organizer before slipping back into the car and driving off but to the garage while the two continued talking about cars.

Reyna and Tej made their way inside laughing together as they walked up the steps to the room where Reyna had been staying. Once they reached the door, the two went quiet as they calmed from the eventful night that they shared. She took a moment to remember this moment before they wished each other goodnight, she turned to open the door when she stopped and turned back to Tej. She walked up to him and grabbed his arm turning him around before connecting their lips, his arms wrapped around her waist as hers went around his shoulders.

Once they pulled away with a smile, the two taking in the air their lungs had been deprived of in that heated moment. He rested his forehead on hers with a smile, "That was amazing." She laughed lightly at his comment before kissing him swiftly, "Goodnight Tej." She pulled away, making her way into her room with a wide smile on her face. The two may have been sleeping in separate beds but even sleeping, they couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces.

Two months later...

Reyna smiled as she walked up to Tej before sitting down on his lap as he spoke with Rome, his arms wrapped around her waist making her blush slightly. She listened as the two discussed last night's race that Brian had almost crashed in leading to an almost fight between Rome and another racer. She couldn't help but laugh when Brian walked up to them yawning like he had no sleep at all in his sesame street pajama's catching the attention of the others. Brian rolled his eyes at Reyna, "Yeah... laugh it up Rey." She smiled sweetly leaning into Tej, resting her head in the crook of his neck.

Tej and Rome laughed with her as they made playful comments towards him as Jimmy and Suki walked in, both of them bursting into laughter instantly making Brian sigh before turning around and walking away. "I am so glad I bought those for his birthday," Reyna says as Rome fist-bumped her with a chuckle. "C'mon, we've got a lunch date to get too," Tej says as he turned his head to kiss Reyna before she got up. The two of them making their way towards Tej's Dodge Aspen before driving off to their favourite cafe where the two had already had numerous dates.

Miami had been the place to be for Reyna, Brian and Roman. The trio had been in many races winning plenty of cash and a few car slips. Roman and Reyna had become quite the troublesome duo in regards to pranking the others most of the time, anyone would think they had grown up together. Whereas, Brian and Reyna had grown a lot closer as well. The two of them were almost inseparable ready to back each other in any situation, especially when running from the police after a race.

It was home but Reyna couldn't help but feel alone sometimes. She missed her family, she needed to do something so she reached out to her cousins, Tego and Santos requesting them to get in contact with few people to help find Dominic. She wasn't sure what she'd do when she got the call but for now, she had nothing to worry about.
