Reyna headed upstairs to get ready for the club with the guys, she wasn't the biggest fan of dresses but she was putting in effort for the night. She had decided on a black dress with long sleeves and some angel lace heels, leaving her hair down and minimal makeup because she was never really a fan of it. She stood up and looked at her reflection with a small smile before walking out of the room bumping into Tej, "So- Woah." Reyna blushed and let her hair fall in her face as she looked down slightly.

She let out a breathy laugh, "Yeah. I don't usually get this dressed up." Tej cleared his throat, "You look beautiful, Reyna." She smiled at him, her cheeks tinted a pink before looking at the time, "Right, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow." She walked past Tej, who watched her leave with a smile on his face from her blushing. He walked up to Jimmy who was smirking at him, "She's pretty cool, huh?" Tej nodded in agreement as he looked over towards the front.

Reyna approached Brian and Rome catching their attention resulting in a smile from Brian and a wolf whistle from Rome causing Reyna to laugh. "All right. Let's just get this over with, please." Reyna says as she walked over to the Evo, climbing in as the boys spoke with each other. She wasn't too keen on the club tonight, she was itching to race instead, but knowing Verone meant she had to be there.

Reyna leaned forward to the guys once they were both in the Evo, "Just a minor heads up, by the way, Carter is intense so... be really careful." Brian nodded as Rome rambled on about being in jail before and dealing with guys like him which only made Reyna shrug. She knew that Carter was gonna pull something tonight and it left her on edge hoping it wasn't anything too bad because she didn't fancy being scarred mentally tonight.

They pulled up to the club and made their way up to the door, Reyna stayed behind a bit. "Hey, how you doin'?" Brian says to the guard at the door who genuinely looked done for the night already as he stared at Brian, "Good. What do you need?" Reyna sighed before walking up between Brian and Rome with a sweet smile on her face, "We're guests of Mr Verone's." The guard nodded as he let the three of them in, Reyna smiled at the boys before going and finding Monica.

Rome and Brian look around the club casually, "It's a 'hoasis' in here, brah. Damn. You got a plan? Phew. It's about to get serious, brah. Look at that girl on the swing right there." Brian smiled at his friend's excitement as his eyes wandered in search of Monica and Reyna. "Hey. You did something right. Verone never socializes with the hired help," Monica says as she and Reyna approached the guys after Reyna expressed to Monica how much she hated the club, making her laugh in response.

Rome scoffed as he put an arm around Reyna's shoulders, "Then what's that make you?" Monica glared at Rome as Reyna poked his side while shaking her head trying to hide her smile, though Rome could see it. "Where's he at?" Brian asks in hopes to change the subject making Monica look at him, "He's on his way." Reyna rested her head on Rome's shoulder, she was already bored with the club and its 'sexual' environment, she really missed the environment of Race Wars and she couldn't wait to go back out there.

"You and Verone don't go everywhere together?" Rome asks Monica as Reyna tried to stay quiet in this moment, she trusted Monica. "What's that supposed to mean?" Monica questioned back slightly offended by his snide question. Brian and Reyna shared a glance as Rome removed his arm from Reyna's shoulders, "Nothin', Imma go take a piss." Monica and Reyna looked at each other as Rome walked away from them.

Monica stepped closer to Brian and Reyna, "What's his deal?" Reyna looked at Brian who sighed, "He doesn't trust people that carry badges." Reyna nodded in response with a small smirk, "Sounds familiar." Brian smiled at her with a playful eye roll. "I'll go check to see if Verone is here," Reyna said before she walked off to find him, on her way she is stopped by Rome.

"Did I mention that you look stunning," Rome said with a small smile making Reyna blush. "Thanks, Rome. Oh, you have a little..." Reyna says as she brushed off some fuzz from Rome's shirt causing him to smile. "He's here," Roman spoke causing Reyna to look over at Verone, his eyes narrowed on Monica and Brian who were standing together. "Shit," Reyna says before Rome led her over to Brian and Monica to let them know.

Brian looked up at Rome and Reyna, "What's up?" Reyna looked over towards Verone, his eyes now resting on her close vicinity to Rome. "He's here, man," Rome tells Brian before pointing out where he was watching from. Reyna made eye contact with Monica, her eyes full of sympathy due to this situation. "Excuse me. Mr Verone would like for you to join him," A hostess says as she approached them, Monica nodding before leading the way to Verone.

After a short conversation, Verone led them into a private room in the club. Verone poured himself and the girls a glass of champagne as a blonde woman and a man with curly hair walked into the room. "Hey, Carter," The man spoke as Verone smirked at him. "Meet, uh, Detective Whitworth. One of Miami's finest," Verone introduced before looking at the blonde, "Thank you, sweetheart." She smiled before walking out of the room.

The man watched her leave as Verone spoke to him, "Are you enjoying yourself, Detective?" Whitworth looked over at Verone, "Yeah. I was. I mean, you know me." His eyes wandered around the room landing on Reyna and Monica who were watching with worried expressions. "Yeah, I do know you. You've been on my payroll a long time," Verone says in agreement while Reyna spared a glance at Brian and Rome.

Whitworth shook his head slightly, "Verone, that ain't right." Verone's playful expression faded becoming more pissed off, "Shut up!" He stepped forward as Reyna wrapped her arms around herself, she definitely wished she was back in Tej's garage. "I got one last job for you, Detective. You hear me?" Verone ordered as Whitworth built up the courage to respond back, "Look, we've been through this. I said I can't do it." Verone huffed quietly.

Reyna's stomach churned as Enrique and Roberto quickly grabbed Whitworth before tying him down to the table as he tried to fight back. "I'm a Detective, Verone! You do anything to me, the whole force is gonna be on your ass in a minute," Whitworth threatened Verone though Reyna, Brian and Rome knew that wasn't the ideal decision. "Shut your mouth, you fat piece of shit!" Verone ordered as he removed the cover off a bucket causing Reyna to feel even worse.

Whitworth began to panic at the sight of the bucket especially after Verone pulled out a rat, ordering Brian and Rome to sit down on the couch. The two of them followed the order instantly while Whitworth continued yelling in hopes to plead for safety. Enrique ripped Whitworth's shirt open as Verone smirked, "Once the bucket gets hot enough, Detective, the rat is gonna want out. And the only direction is south." Reyna immediately felt sick from this, she's done a lot and seen a lot but this was too far for her.

Verone placed the rat on Whitworth's stomach followed by the bucket to cover the rats' exit. Enrique held the bucket in place as Roberto handed Verone the torch while Whitworth continued with his pleas that only fell on deaf ears. Reyna looked at Brian, her face almost pale by the scene in front of her. "Did you know that your average rat can chew through a steel drainpipe?" Verone taunted as he started using the torch to heat up the bucket causing the rat to shriek.

Monica and Reyna looked at each other, both of them were scared at this point not fully realising the actual danger they were in if they got caught. "You're in charge of the units that are watching my properties, huh?" Verone questions Whitworth, the silence of the rat became deafening as Verone turned the torch off. "What I want is - I want a fifteen-minute window where everybody and I mean everybody disappears. You hear me?" Verone asks getting answers he didn't want to hear.

Verone shook his head slightly in annoyance before looking over at Monica and Reyna. "Monica, come here. Reyna, sit." Verone says as he motioned for Monica to approach him and Reyna to sit across from him, in full view of the scene. Verone ordered Monica to cover Whitworth's mouth as he started to yell, Reyna placed her hand across her stomach due to the sickly feeling she was getting. Soon enough, Whitworth agrees to the deal causing Verone to threaten his wife and kids with the rat if he betrays him.

The bucket was removed, the rat's bite marks were in full view causing Reyna to look away in disgust before making eye contact with Brian. Brian was terrified, not for himself but for Reyna. She is family to Brian, he considers her his little sister and seeing her in this situation scared the hell out of him. They had to take down Verone, he had to protect Reyna and with one single glance at Rome, he knew he felt the same. Roberto and Enrique took Whitworth out of the room as Verone took a sip from his champagne.

He turned to the racers, "You boys enjoy the show?" They stayed quiet as Verone placed his drink down. "Fifteen minutes, and then every cop in Florida is gonna be on you. Be at Versailles Cafe, at six am the day after tomorrow ready to drive. You understand?" Verone ordered getting agreements back. "Don't play games with me, or you'll be next. All right? Help yourself to a little champagne," Verone tells them before motioning to Monica and Reyna to follow him out, Reyna looked at Brian and Rome before walking out the door.

Reyna took a deep breath once they stepped out the door, she was shaking slightly but managed to keep up her tough exterior in front of everyone. "Monica, go get the car," Verone ordered as they walk, she nodded in response sparing a 'I'm sorry' glance before walking away. Once she was gone from sight, Verone shoved Reyna into the wall behind her and placed both his hands on either side of her. He slammed his lips onto hers causing her to kiss him back so she wouldn't blow her cover. He wasn't the guy she wanted to be kissing right now, but she certainly wanted to punch him.

He pulled away with an angered expression before he spoke, "You ever touch another man again, I'll kill you." He pointed in Reyna's face causing her to look to the side, "You hear me? Look at me! You hear me?" She turned her head to him and nodded as the sickly feeling returned to her. "Good, now make sure those two don't get any ideas up their sleeves between now and the drop." She forced a smile and nodded as he stepped back allowing her to walk away, her heart racing while her hands shook. She really wished that Dominic or Vince was here right now, she needed their comfort.

She walked up to the guys as they were talking, she forced a smile as they turned to her. "Let's get out of here," Reyna said though it comes out as more of a plea causing Brian to agree instantly. They got into the cars and headed straight for Tej's Garage, Reyna felt drained of energy and she was starting to think this may not be worth it. She knew how pissed Dominic would be if he witnessed this, though he would also want her to be free and if she wanted to find a way to save her family, then she had to deal with this and make it happen.

Brian turned to look at Reyna as a tear fell down her face, "What happened Rey?" She quickly wiped the tear away and clasped her hands together in hopes they'd stop shaking. "V-Verone... He kissed me then threatened to kill me if I touch another man again..." Reyna spoke softly, Brian's grip on the steering wheel tightened as he clenched his jaw. "He won't be touching you again, Rey. I'll make damn sure of that!" Brian spoke as he looked back over at her, guilt built up inside him knowing she could've been having a movie night with her family right now if it wasn't for him, he screwed up your life and he was gonna help fix it.
