They pulled up to Tej's Garage, climbing out of the car before heading in where they spotted the group sitting at a table. "I got you, I got you, I got you," Jimmy's voice cheered causing Reyna to smile, her bad feelings from before faded away as she looked at everyone, her gaze lingering on Tej. "Is that right?" Tej asks as he glanced up at Reyna catching her staring at him, she quickly looked down with a blush as he smirked.

"See, we can race for cash, but when I step on the gas, my nitrous go blast, leave your ass in the past. And, Tej, you about to lose your garage," Jimmy raps causing Reyna to smile as she looked at Brian and Rome who walked up beside her. "Whatever, man," Tej says with a small eye roll though a smirk still rested on his face, Reyna was pretty convinced he had it in the bag. "I'm a low-budget mechanic, but I overcharge. Pay me!" Jimmy yelped as he slapped his cards down.

Reyna walked over and smiled as she stood behind Jimmy who was smiling widely, "Let's go, man! Pay me my money." Reyna shook her head before hugging Suki as they laughed at Jimmy's pure joy. Reyna gave Jimmy a hug as Tej smiled purely at Jimmy, "You a happy man. This is my garage, boy. Royal flush!" They all laughed at Jimmy's shocked expression, Tej took the money from Jimmy before Tej and Rome bro-hugged excitedly.

Suki nudged Reyna playfully before grabbing the cards, "You can't play a player. Put that money back on the table. You know it's my next hand." Reyna sat down on the arm of the chair with an arm around Suki's shoulders, "Girl power Suki. You got this, baby." Suki smiled up at her as Brian turned to Jimmy, "Jimmy, how are you gonna pay me back if you keep losing to Tej?" Reyna smirked before looking over at the Camaro they had won.

Brian rested an arm around Reyna, "I'm gonna crash. I'll catch you all tomorrow." Brian turned to Reyna with a smile, "Go for it, you need to chill." Reyna smiled before kissing his cheek, she stood up and made her way into the bathroom to change out of her dress. She put on a plain grey v-neck and some denim jeans, slipping on some converses from her bag before putting her hair up in a ponytail, she was happy to wipe away the makeup as she shoved the dress into the bag.

Reyna had been working on the Camaro for a few hours, the others went from playing cards to working on their cars to just chatting between themselves. Her grey shirt was now covered in engine grease but she was the happiest she could be as she worked on the engine. She was right, the previous owners had put a lot of work into the car; the 1969 Yenko Camaro SYC with an amazing engine - 427ci L72 pushrod V8.

She knew that Dominic and Vince would appreciate the car but she couldn't help but wonder what Jesse would do to upgrade it. Letty and Mia would be heavily impressed by the body of the car and its colour. Leon would be raving about an opportunity to drive it to "impress the ladies" which would lead to a comment about hoes from Letty making everyone laugh. Reyna sighed as she smiled to herself standing up straight with her eyes locked on the engine before her.

Tej had finished messing with one of the cars, he had been watching and admiring Reyna for a while now. He was fascinated by her, the way she held herself, her confidence but most of all, her wide knowledge about cars. He knew anyone who knew Brian had quite the skillset because O'Connor tended to only get along with people of a strong mindset with broad goals and Reyna was one of those people. He was intrigued to see the outcome of the car, plus he was interested to know more about Reyna Roshani.

Reyna could feel the gaze on her, she turned her head to look at Tej who looked away too quickly making her laugh. She picked up the rag and wiped down her hands before making her way over to Tej looking at what he was messing with. "Hey Tej, that's looking pretty good," Reyna says as she sat down next to him, he looked at her with a smile. "Thanks, Reyna. Are you alright, by the way? You seemed down," Tej asks noticing how she seemed upset. Reyna pulled her hair out of the tight ponytail letting her hair fall casually.

"It's just... working this job..." Reyna sighed putting her head in her hands, "I mean, Verone threatened my life and I freaked out... It's not like I've never had a threat like that but I just... I don't know, it seemed more real." Tej's jaw clenched. When Brian explained the case to Tej, Suki and Jimmy - purely because they were in close contact - he wasn't really happy about the trouble they were getting involved with. Verone was well known and Tej didn't like Reyna having to play house with him.

"It's normal to be freaked out from a threat, Reyna. Just know that I'm here when you need to talk and my garage is your garage," Tej says as he rested his hand on hers, Reyna smiled at Tej as her heart raced for a moment until he moved his hand away. Reyna didn't fully understand how Tej managed to make her body react that way, usually only being behind the wheel made her feel that good but yet with a few words and a simple touch, Tej made her feel amazing and free.

The next morning, Brian woke up to his door opening revealing Monica walking towards him though she had a worried expression on her face. "What are you doin' here?" Brian asks her as she took a deep breath, "Brian, they're gonna kill you. Reyna too. I heard Verone telling Enrique and Roberto. Once you finish the run, they're putting a bullet in your heads," Monica quickly explained through her worry for them. Brian instantly woke up fully, "You sure you heard them right?" He needed to be sure, he put Reyna in danger suggesting her to Bilkins though she didn't know that.

Roman and Reyna walked into the room, "Verone's boys are outsi-" He stopped at the sight of Monica before looking at Reyna then back to Brian and Monica. "Oh, I see what they lookin' for, your little girlfriend," Rome says causing Reyna to jab his side and shake her head before looking at them. Monica shook her head, "They don't know I'm here. I snuck out." Brian noticed the shadows of Roberto and Enrique as Monica and Rome argued and glared at each other, Reyna shut them up.

Brian turned to Rome and Reyna, "Hey, go stall them. Go stall them for two minutes." Reyna nodded but Rome pointed at Monica, "Check her, homey. Check her." Reyna pulled Rome out of the boathouse before turning to Verone's mutts, "Ya'll find what you're looking for, boys?" Roberto and Enrique looked at Reyna with smug smiles causing Rome to step in front of her, "Hey, buddy. Hi, guys. How ya doin'?" He held out his hand for them to shake though neither made a move to accept it causing Rome to lower his hand.

"Oh, man, Ya'll still mad about ya'll car? Don't even trip, homey. Come on, man. You can't take a joke?" Rome taunted playfully, stalling them perfectly which impressed Reyna, not that she doubted his skillset considering he never really shuts up but hey, makes for some good entertainment. "Verone pay ya'll to keep a straight face like that? 'Cause if I was makin' money, shit, I'd get that mole removed off my damn nose." Rome continued making it difficult for Reyna to hold back on the laughter which Rome noticed causing him to smirk.

Roman shrugged as Roberto and Enrique continued to glare at him, "How much does he pay ya'll anyway? Every time I see ya'll, man, ya'll got the silk shirts on, jewellery, you know, lookin' real Miami." Reyna sat down on the couch under the cover as Roman continued to taunt the two thugs, "You know? I caught you walkin' up in the club, you got the hamburger mean all hangin' out, you know?" Reyna snorted but quickly covered it up with a cough followed by a yawn considering she was up all night working on the Camaro with Tej.

Brian walked out of the boathouse alone as Reyna's phone went off in her pocket, she pulled out her phone as the guys spoke noticing a message from Monica; I'm so sorry you were dragged into this. Brian will find a way out. Reyna wasn't sure what she meant by that but her stomach churned as she remembered what Verone had said, she couldn't understand why it scared her so much. Unless it wasn't the threat that scared her, it was the fact he had assaulted her and she couldn't fight back; She had only ever kissed one other person and that was Vince, her first and only kiss.

Reyna looked up to see Roberto make his way into the boathouse, she saw the gun trained on Brian and Roman in Enrique's hand. Brian opened the boathouse curtains to watch Roberto as Enrique looked at Reyna for a moment before turning his gaze back to Brian and Roman. Roberto opened the bathroom door to reveal nothing allowing Brian to relax knowing that Monica was safe though he was still trapped in his thoughts thinking about the danger he had put Roman and Reyna in.

Roberto walked out of the boathouse past Roman who decided to speak up, "Stay your ass off my homeboy's boat." Roberto elbowed Roman in the stomach causing Reyna to jump up and out of the way as they began fighting, Brian quickly took Enrique's gun before pointing it at his shoulder. "Put the gun down! Put the gun down now!" Brian ordered Roberto who had his gun trained on Roman's head while Reyna watched in anger knowing she couldn't get involved. "You first, asshole! You first!" Roberto shouted back at Brian.

The four of them continued shouting at one another until Verone appeared from the corner, "Enough. Shut up! Come on, it's over." Reyna shrunk down a bit behind Roman as Roberto and Enrique followed Verone's orders. Brian emptied the barrel of the gun as Roberto and Enrique stood behind Verone, "I'm glad to see you boys are getting along so well. Because tomorrow, Roberto and Enrique are gonna be riding along with you, just so that we don't have any problems. I'll see you guys later." Verone smirked before he left with his thugs following.

"What the hell was she doin' in there, man?" Rome asks only to be ignored by Brian, Reyna still watching the space Verone stood a few moments ago. Brian turned to Reyna noticing the uncomfortable look on her face, "I'm sorry Rey... It's my fault." Reyna looked up at Brian and shook her head, "I signed up for this Brian... It isn't your fault." He rubbed the back of his neck before looking out at the water, "Rey... I suggested you, I convinced Bilkins to give you the deal." Reyna stood silent as she stared at Brian who refused to look at her.

She shook her head before resting her hands on Brian's arms, "Listen to me, Buster. I'm a Toretto, maybe not by blood but by influence. I don't do anything I don't want to do, that's something Letty taught me. Yes, this situation isn't ideal but I've dealt with alot." Brian looked down at Reyna as Roman let them talk. "Did you forget Tran? He put us through a lot of trouble and threats, plus... Hijacking those trucks, the risks that came with that." Roman knew the story from Brian but he was surprised by your involvement much like Brian was.

She stepped back from Brian with a small smile, "I think it was the sudden kiss from Verone that freaked me out rather than the threat itself. I'm used to having Dom, Vince and Leon looking out for me, I never really realised how reliant I was on them." Brian pulled Reyna into a hug with a small smile on his face, he was grateful that Reyna wasn't mad at him but it didn't calm him completely. He looked at Rome who had a smile on his face as Reyna pulled away, "We gotta check in with Bilkins." Both guys nodded before heading towards the cars.
