Mia held on to a map, "Civics are stashed somewhere outside of Thermal." She keeps her eyes on the map as Brian thinks, "They wouldn't double back, and highway ten is too well patrolled. So, what does that leave us with?" He questioned causing Mia to point out a large part of the map, "All of this." Brian pulled out his phone to call Nextel, "This is Officer Brian O'Connor. Serial number 34762. I need a cell phone trace." Mia looked up at Brian, the betrayal hitting her again from those words.

Brian looked at Mia after the woman asked for the cell number, "Mia, what is Reyna's?" Mia stayed silent making Brian sigh, "Come on, Mia. She needs Reyna's cell phone number now." Brian handed her the phone before focusing on the road. Mia sighed before placing the phone by her ear, "322-555-6439" She handed the phone back to Brian, "Thank you." He spoke kindly to Mia causing her to look out the window. He focused back on the woman on the phone, "Yeah, you get that?" She told him they'd call him back, he only hoped they'd make it on time.

Dom looked at everyone before pulling the covers off of the cars, "All right, we're one man short. So, Rey, I need you on the left side with Letty." Reyna nodded as she stood with Letty. "Your sister's right about this one. This doesn't feel good," Leon spoke as he gave Dom the harpoon gun. "Don't do that," Dom responded as he looked around at everyone, Reyna looked down trying to ignore the bad feeling she was getting from this. "Something's wrong," Letty tells him as she bought over the other gun.

Dom shook his head, "Stop." Reyna sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair. "We shouldn't be doing this without Jesse," Reyna spoke in hopes to change his mind, they should be looking for him and protecting him not hijacking some truck for cash. "Look. This is the mother lode. We've been on this for three months. After this, it's a long vacation for everyone. Let's go," Dom spoke making Reyna sigh in defeat, she had a feeling their 'long vacation' would be more forced rather than enjoyable.

Dom spoke with Letty as Leon spoke with Vince, Reyna kept to herself leaning against the car door. Dom looked around at everyone before looking at Leon, "Leon, keep on those scanners." Dom made his way over to his car, looking over at Reyna with a small reassuring smile getting one in response. "All right, let's go," Dom says before everyone got into their assigned cars, Reyna's leg was bouncing due to her nerves as Letty drove the car. She could only hope that things would be okay, but since when did things truly go their way.

Brian's phone began ringing, he answered quickly as they continued driving in a random direction. "Okay, we traced the number to the northbound eighty-six. Mile 114, outside Coachella. We'll keep the trace open, Officer," The woman spoke politely before Brian hung up the phone. "Let me see this," Brian says as he takes the map from Mia, he looked over it carefully as he focused on where to go. "I think we're about forty miles away," Brian spoke before pushing the map away and focusing on the road.

Mia thought for a moment before looking at Brian, "What are you gonna do?" She began to worry about Brian's intentions knowing he had a job to do but she had to protect her family. "What are you gonna do?" Brian only sped up the car, he was completely unsure about what he was gonna do. He was conflicted by all of this, by his past and by the people he had come to care for. He couldn't look at Mia because he knew, for her, he'd risk it all because he knew, he loved her.

The team reach the target, Reyna and Letty shared a concerned glance as they catch up to the truck. "Okay! Go time!" Dom spoke through the walkie talkie as he pulled up in front of the truck. "We're all good. I got nothing on the scanners. Keep going," Leon says over the walkie as Vince takes his windshield out. Vince then hits the seat and connects the wire to his belt. The team were left stunned when the truck driver shot at Vince, who was on the truck.

Reyna's heart was racing at the scene before her. "He's got a damn shotgun! Leon!" Dom spoke through the walkie causing Reyna and Letty to look at each other in fear. "Back off! Get him off of there!" Leon shouted through the walkie. The tension was building in this situation and Reyna couldn't help but freeze in place, not knowing what to do as Vince called for them to get him off the truck.

Reyna took a deep breath before turning to look at Letty, "Let, we gotta distract the driver. Get in front of them." Letty nodded before grabbing the walkie, "Dom! I'm pulling up to distract him!" She drove up in front of the driver as Dom tries to help Vince, "Come on, boy! Shot doesn't get much better than this." Letty taunted as the driver pointed his gun at them, firing a shot through the back windshield. "Son of a bitch!" Reyna yelled out before noticing the driver slam on the brakes slinging Vince around causing his arm to get tangled in the wire.

The driver shot out Dom's front tire causing him to lose control of the car, "Dom! Move out of the way. I'm coming to get him," Letty spoke through the walkie before she pulls up on the left side before sliding under the truck and coming out the right side. Letty goes to pull up beside Vince but the driver swerved into her causing her tires to hit. The car swerved into a ditch causing it to flip three times before landing upside down, both girls left with minor injuries though Reyna felt a sharp pain in her side.

Leon swerved back to help Letty and Reyna, Letty crawled out of the car with Leon's help. The two of them raced around to help Reyna, Letty's eyes widened instantly as Reyna stumbled into Leon's arms. "Your bleeding," Leon spoke causing Reyna to look down, a large piece of glass had pierced into her side. Brian's car goes flying past as Reyna fought to keep her eyes open, she carefully pulled the glass out of her side despite Leon and Letty's protests.

She ripped the bottom of her shirt off and wrapped it around her wound, tightening it as much as possible. She took in a few deep breaths as she limped over to Leon's car, climbing into the passenger seat. They drove over to the others after picking Dom up on the way, Vince was laying on the ground with blood everywhere as Dom looked at Reyna to see her bleeding. She shook her head at him as he kneeled down to apply pressure to Vince's gunshot wound while Mia held up his arm, Brian pulled out his phone.

Brian and Reyna shared a look, "Yeah, this is Officer Brain O'Connor. I'm off-duty MAPD." Dom glared up at Brian while Reyna shared a look with Mia, Mia was shocked to see no reaction from Reyna. Rey looked over at Dom, his gaze locked on hers and she simply shook her head at him. "I need a life flight roll out right away. My twenty is highway 86, mile marker 147. I got one trauma victim, about twenty-four years of age. Six-foot, maybe 200 pounds. He's got a deep laceration to his right arm with arterial bleeding." Reyna let out a shaky breath.

She looked up at Dom and noticed the look of betrayal and anger as Brian continued, "And he's got a shotgun wound close range to his left flank. Yeah, he's going into shock!" Brian and Reyna locked gazes, his eyes dropped to her bleeding side. "Rey..." She shook her head before looking down at Vince. Within the next few minutes, the helicopter shows up to take Vince to the hospital. Brian helped them while the others walked off towards Leon's car, Mia stopped to look at Brian while Reyna held her side as she climbed into the car.

They made it back to the Toretto household, Mia rushed Reyna inside to tend to her wound while Letty and Leon packed their things quickly. Leon hugged Reyna goodbye leaving her with a number before getting into his car and taking off, Letty kissed Dom before kissing the top of Reyna's head and hugging Mia before jumping into her car and driving off. Dominic paced the corridor as Mia finished stitching up Reyna's side, she put the bandage on before walking into her way to process everything.

Dominic walked into Reyna's room as she pulled on a new shirt, "How long did you know?" Dom's voice startled Reyna, she looked up at him noticing his tensed muscles and clenched jaw. "After the incident in Tran's garage... I decided to dig a little deeper and found some sealed files, connected some names and came across his true identity." Dom shook his head as Reyna pulled her hair out, "Dom... I didn't know what to do. We all care about Brian now, I hated myself for staying quiet but I thought..." She looked down, scared to see his expression.

Reyna felt the space beside her dip before arms wrapped around her, "He reminds you of Benny, doesn't he?" Reyna looked up at Dom and nodded, "I-I... I just wanted to feel like he was here, you know?" Reyna rested her head on Dom's shoulder as he sighed, "I understand Rey... I should've listened to everyone, Vince wouldn't have gotten hurt and neither would you." Reyna smiled up at Dom, "It's alright Dom. I've gotten used to your stubborn nature." The two laughed as they embraced each other, taking this peaceful moment to process everything.
