She holds the wheel tight, her heart was pounding as she lightly pressed her foot down on the pedal which caused her engine to purr. Goosebumps covered her body from the sound as she watched the road ahead of her, nerves didn't taunt her as excitement began to overwhelm her. The blue paint glistened in the lights, her thumb tapped on the wheel as she prepared her NOS before placing her hand on the gear stick.

The itch to press on the gas made her twitchy, the word "Go" barely processes as she slams her foot down causing her wheels to squeal before pushing forward. She was neck and neck with her competitors but within a deep breath and a press of her NOS, she was officially ahead as she crossed over the finish line. Her racing heart makes her smile, the feeling of home calms her as she turns the car around heading back towards the crowd.

They all cheered for her as she pulled up next to her best friends car, stepping out she's instantly pulled into a tight hug. She lets out a laugh before looking up at him, "I'm proud of you Rey." She smirks before kissing his cheek then turning to collect her winnings of ten grand. She handed a small amount off to the dealer before turning to her best friend, "What do you think, Dom? New specs? Or a new ride?" Dom laughed at Rey before wrapping an arm around her, leading her towards their family.

Dom pulls away approaching another woman, "Nice win, Rey." Rey smirks, "Learnt from the best, Letty." Letty smiled before leaning in to Dom as two more people approach, "Gotta admit Rey, that was some good racing." Rey rolled her eyes, "Oh Vince, don't be upset cause I won. Same to you Leon." Both boys shrugged with small smiles as Rey lived in the glory of winning the race.

She walked past the group approaching a young woman, "What you think Mia? Do you think I'll beat Dom one of these days?" Mia looked up at the brunette with a smile, "I think you will, especially with Jesse fixing up your car with you." Rey nodded in agreement before wrapping an arm around Jesse who had approached.

Jesse placed his arm around Rey's waist. "I'll be looking out for a new project soon anyway," Rey spoke making Jesse smile, "Lookin' forward to it." The crew got into their cars and headed back to 1327 for the after-party where Rey walked out to the porch with a corona in hand, she looked out to the bland velvet sky with a small smile. She had a family and nothing mattered more than that, well, except for those ten seconds or less where she's free.

Rey pulls up in her car at the diner behind Vince, Leon, Jesse and Letty noticing the same red truck as yesterday. She leaned back in her seat as she simply watched the small group crowd Vince's car, Rey shakes her head before climbing out of her ride and making her way inside where she spots the same blonde. Mia notices Rey and smiles before grabbing her a corona, "Hey Rey." Rey smiles at Mia before sitting next to the mystery blonde who turns to her with a small smile.

Mia holds out the drink for Rey, "Thanks, Mia." Rey takes the drink and sits it on the counter, "So you're the one eating all the nasty tuna for us." The mystery blonde nodded before taking another bite, Rey opens her drink and raises it, "Thanks." The two share a laugh before Vince makes his way over glaring at the blonde.

Rey sits back as Mia tries to get Vince's attention from the blonde, she sips her drink as the blonde turns to her with another small smile before standing up. "Thanks a lot, Mia. Rey. See you tomorrow." Rey smirked at him with a small nod getting a disapproving glare from Vince that she simply shrugs off.

Rey ignores Vince as he follows after the blonde and makes her way towards Dom, "Hey yo, Dom." Dom turned to his best friend, "Yeah?" Rey sighed before looking towards the conversing men, "We gonna have a Vince problem in a moment, be ready." Dom rolled his eyes and nodded as Mia called out for Dom. Rey stood with the others as Dom pulled Vince and the blonde apart, she stepped forward glaring at Vince almost daring him to step forward again, to which he doesn't.

"Reyna, give me the wallet," Dom orders, Rey picked up the wallet and handed it to Dom before standing next to him. "Brian Earl Spilner. Sounds like a serial killer name. Is that what you are?" Dom questioned making Brian shake his head slightly, "No, man." It was clear Brian didn't want a fight with Dom.

Rey respected that knowing he wouldn't win against Dom considering no one can beat Dom in anything. "Don't come around here again," Dom orders making Rey sigh knowing that Mia was already smitten about the guy, "Hey, man. This is bullshit," Brian argued back making Rey smirk, which Brian noticed before turning his attention on Dom.

Dom turned back to Brian, "You work for Harry, right?" Reyna instantly knew what was about to happen though she had a feeling Brian wouldn't be losing the job considering Harry needs all the help he can get. "Yeah. I just started," Brian spoke, he wasn't sure why Dom had mentioned that until he responded, "You were just fired." Everyone made their way inside.

Reyna stepped closer to Brian, "Brave move Spilner, but the wrong decision. I wouldn't stress, Harry's too kind to fire you even with Dom's orders." Reyna turned to walk away before stopping and looking at Brian, "Also, ignore Vince. He hasn't graduated from fourth grade yet." Brian laughed at Reyna's comment as she walked away, he couldn't wipe the smile from his face as he drove away.

Reyna walked into the Diner to see Vince glaring at her, she instantly walks over to him catching everyone's attention. "You gotta problem, V?" Rey asked as she crossed her arms against her chest, Dom stood to the side watching in case he had to step in though mostly for his entertainment. "What was that? Making that fool laugh? What'd you say?" Vince asked raising his voice before lowering his head slightly as Reyna's glare rested on him before she smirked slightly.

She stepped closer, "I was just letting him know to ignore you." Vince looked at Reyna in disbelief as she walked off towards the entrance, stopping to look at Vince with a smile. "Oh, and I told him you haven't graduated fourth grade yet," Rey taunted with a wink making Vince grunt in annoyance as everyone laughed. Rey got into her car and let out a breath as Dom approached, "See you at the garage?" Rey shook her head, "I'll see you at the race, Toretto." He nodded before kissing her cheek.

Reyna drove off and headed towards the local cemetery, she pulled up to a park before heading in. She took a deep breath as she approached a grave, kneeling down she placed her hand on the gravestone. "Hey daddy, I'm racing tonight. I'll be winning for you and don't worry, Dom's looking after me. I love you, dad. Look after mom and Benny for me, talk soon and wish me luck." Rey stood up and closed her eyes for a moment before turning and walking back to her car deciding on driving around until the race tonight.

She was ready to win some money tonight but all she really cared about was the feeling she got when she was behind the wheel, nothing in the world could compare to that thrill, nothing she had experienced yet. And she couldn't help but wonder if Brian would show up at the race, he seemed to be working hard on being in the Toretto crew and Rey wasn't sure if that could be trusted - though maybe he was doing it to be with Mia, Reyna would be willing to accept him for her and only her.

Brian showed up at the race hoping to get the chance to race Dom and possibly see Mia, maybe even Reyna. "Hold up, hold up. Look at this snowman right here, man. Sweet ride, what you running under there man?" A man asks Brian with a small crowd following behind, Brian simply smirks at him making the man sigh, "Going to make me find out the hard way?" Brian smiles, "Hell yeah." The man smiles back, "You brave. You brave. They call me Hector. I got a last name, too but I can't pronounce it." Hector tells Brian making him chuckle.

"Brian Spilner," Brian introduces himself as they bro hug. Hector nods, "Typical white boy name. Know what I'm saying? See that over there? That's mine. My baby. I ain't cutting her loose tonight." Hector spoke pointing at his car. The two of them continue their conversation, Hector finding out that Brian wanted to race Dominic or even Reyna.

Soon enough they were joined by another man, Edwin who stepped into the conversation after hearing Reyna's name. It wasn't long until there were murmurs of Dom's arrival with his crew not too far behind. The three of them look around spotting the team's cars, "Oh, shit. Here they come. It's on." Edwin spoke with an excited smile as the crowd gets rowdy with excitement for tonight's race.

Brian lets his eyes wander over the team spotting Dom and Mia talking with each other, Letty and Leon standing with Vince and Jesse while Reyna stood against her car with her eyes closed, no one stepping near her unlike the others leaving Brian wondering why she seemed like a whole different person to the crew, confused how she could be a bad person.

Once the team had arrived, Reyna stuck by her car where she took a moment to close her eyes and simply relax and calm herself to prepare for the race with a clear mind. Hector approached the crew, his voice alerting Reyna that it was time to race. She walked over to the small group as Dom spoke, "One race. $2,000 buy-in. Winner takes all." Reyna smiled as she pulled out her cash.

She locked eyes with Brian as he made his way over. "Hector, you're going to hold the cash," Dom continued pulling Reyna's attention from Brian. "Why Hector?" A guy asks as he and Edwin hand their cast to Hector, "'Cause he's too slow to make away with the money." Reyna's spoke smirking at Hector who playfully glared at her as the crowd laughed.

"Hey, wait. Hold up," Brian says as he walks up to them making Reyna look from Vince, who was glaring to Dom, who seemed mildly interested in this to Brian who looked from me to Dom before speaking, "I don't have any cash. But I do have the pink slip to my car." Reyna sighed as she rested one hand on her hip, her other hand holding it as she watched. "You can't climb in the ring with Ali 'cause you think you can box," Jesse spoke as he looked around.

Reyna shook her head slightly, "Vince knows he can box." Brian smirked at Reyna before looking back towards Dom and Hector while Vince glared at Reyna getting an innocent smile back. "Check it out. It's like this, I lose, the winner takes my car. Clean and clear. But if I win, I take the cash, and I take the respect," Reyna smiled at Brian's words, "Respect?" Dom questioned as the crowd laughed, Reyna rolled her eyes.

Brian shrugged, "To some people, that's more important." Brian glanced towards Mia and Reyna. "That your car?" Dom asks before they all make their way over, Reyna watched closely as Jesse lifts the hood making her smile at the sight. "I see a cool air intake. It's got a NOS fogger system and a T4 turbo, Dominic. Yo, Rey." Reyna walked over to stand with him as he continued, "I see an AIC controller. It has direct port nitrous injection." Jesse looked at Reyna.

Reyna smiled as she spoke, "Yeah. And a stand-alone fuel management system. Not a bad wat to spend $10,000." She turned to look at Brian, an impressed look on his face from her knowledge before she looked at Dom. "You see that shit? He's got enough NOS in there to blow himself up. Period." Brian smiles as Edwin spoke before he looks at Dom, "So, what do you say? Am I worthy?" Dom looked at Reyna, "Rey?" She turned to Brian, "We don't know yet. But you're in. Let's go." Brian nodded at Reyna as everyone walked over to their cars or into the crowd.
