Reyna followed behind Roman and Brian as they walked into the abandoned building where they had their meetings. "Nice shirt, Bilkins," Brian taunted as Reyna stood next to Rome letting Brian take the lead on things. "It's my day off," Bilkins responded before looking at Reyna with a small reassuring smile, he was one of the reasons why she was doing this. "Yeah. Well, anyhow, this is the deal. Last night, Verone threatened a cop into giving us a window," Brian began explaining causing a shiver down Reyna's back as she remembered the bite marks.

Roman wrapped his arm around Reyna's shoulders causing her to smile up at him before focusing back on the conversation happening. "They're driving to an airstrip, in the keys, off of Nallwood Avenue. Verone has a plane there, and he's taking off for good," Reyna continued for Brian as she explained what they had learned from Monica. Markham looked at Reyna, "Wait a minute. How do you know this?" Reyna sighed as she shrugged, "Monica." Rome nodded as he added his input, "She's doin' her job. She warned us."

Reyna rested her head on Roman's shoulder as Bilkins looked between the three undercover agents, "She warned you about what?" Reyna sighed as she and Brian spared a glance at one another before he turned to Bilkins, "Verone plans to kill us after we give him the money." Bilkins shook his head instantly before turning to Markham, "Driving into an ambush was never part of the deal. I'm calling this off." Reyna smiled faintly but she knew this had to be done, she and the guys already agreed to it no matter the risks.

Markham got defensive as he turned to Bilkins, "Like hell you are. This is a Customs case, Bilkins. No one's calling this off unless I do." He turned to Reyna, Brian and Rome with a stern expression, "Look. This is real simple. You make the run. You get Verone and his cash together so I can move in for the bust. All right? You don't, I will find enough charges on all three of you to make you disappear." Reyna smirked slightly, he wasn't the first cop to threaten her with that.

He handed Roman and Brian a walkie talkie each, "Take these. We're gonna have GPS on you the whole time to make sure you don't get any cute ideas." Reyna rolled her eyes as Bilkins stepped forward, "And to make sure nothing happens to them, right?" Markham couldn't care less, you could see it in his expression as he mumbled, "Yeah, right." Then left the room. Reyna smiled at Bilkins before following behind Roman and Brian as she thought up a plan of escape for all three of them.

The three of them stood by a railing looking out at the water with the cars behind them, Reyna let out a breath as she turned to face her brothers while leaning on the railing. "Let me get this right. If we don't do this, then we go to jail. But if we do it, then Verone's gonna kill us," Rome states matter-of-factly. "It's a hell of a deal, huh?" Brian asks as he looked out at the water as Reyna smiled at them, clearly some plan was about to come into play and she was itching for some fun.

"Yeah, maybe it is," Roman says with a shrug as he looked from the water to Brian and Reyna. "But I know this guy's got an ass full of loot that he's ready to dump in our cars. And I can think of two reasons why Verone doesn't need that money anymore." Reyna chuckled as Brian clasped his hands together, "Ah, here we go." Reyna shook her head as she stood up, Roman smirking in the process. "You and me. Just like the old days with a bonus," Rome says as he winked at Reyna making her chuckle again. "What do you think?" Rome asks smiling.

Reyna wrapped her arms around both of their shoulders, "I think they messed with the wrong trio. That's what I think." Brian and Rome fist bump as Reyna pulled out her phone, dialling Tej's number with a plan in mind. "Hey, Tej," Reyna spoke as she stepped back from the guys, the two smirking at the slight blush on her face as Tej responded, "What's up, beautiful?" She smiled lightly, "Hey, how quickly can you organize?" She smirked up at Rome and Brian, they smiled back catching on to her plan.

Tej took the three of them to a large garage, "Look, folks, if ya'll really wanna carry out this plan, it's definitely the best place to do it. What do ya'll think?" Reyna looked at the building with a smile before looking at Brian and Rome, the two nodded in agreement. "I think it's perfect, what about you guys?" Reyna asks smiling at Tej as Brian and Rome agreed, smirking at each other. Reyna climbed into the car with Tej following behind Brian's car, "How are you feeling about this plan?" Reyna looked at Tej and let out a slow breath, "Honestly, I'm a bit nervous."

He smiled at her for a moment before grabbing her hand and interlocking their fingers, "You'll be alright, I just know it. You and Brian work well together, this plan will work." Reyna smiled at his reassuring words, blushing slightly at the physical contact. "Brian is basically my brother and after everything that had happened, it just feels right, you know?" Reyna said as they pulled up to the garage before Tej turned to her, "I get what you mean." She smiled at him before they both got out of the car.

Reyna walked over to Brian who was looking under the Camaro's hood, "You've done well with this so far, but what are you planning?" Reyna smirked at Brian, he turned to look at Rome knowing she wouldn't spill her plan. "There is still one problem, Roberto and Enrique." Reyna smiled at him, "And so my plan comes into play." Brian raised a brow at her as she looked over at Jimmy, "Hey, Jimmy!" He turned to her, "Yeah. What's up?" She smiled at him, "We have any half-empty bottles of nitrous laying around?"

They all looked at her confused despite the wide smile on her face as Jimmy responded, "Sure, but you and I already loaded them of spray." She shrugged before crossing her arms, "No. I'm thinkin' we may need it for somethin' else. 'Cause our cars may get a little crowded, ya know?" She lightly tapped the passenger door causing Brian and Roman to smirk catching on to her little plan. "Now that is genius, little sister," Brian spoke as he wrapped her in a tight hug causing her to laugh. Tej smiled widely, her plan was brilliant and he couldn't help but wonder what she was gonna do when this was over.

Brian, Reyna and Roman were walking down to the pier together as the sun began to set the night before the job. "Man, when you start eatin' so much?" Brian asks Roman as he stuffed his face with food making Reyna smile. "I was in jail, brah. I know how shitty the grub is on the inside. With the things are shapin' up out here right now, It'll be a matter of time before I'm back in there or dead. So I'm tryin' to eat all I can," Rome explained as Reyna leaned against the railing letting the two old friends talk.

Roman continued, "Plus, the doctors tell me I got a high metabolism." Reyna smiled at him, "Be grateful for that!" He laughed at her comment as she turned back to the view. "Man, you remember us growing up?" You know, playing football in the dirt. You know, gettin' in trouble, all the stupid things we did," Brian reminisces causing Reyna to remember the times with the Toretto family, the races were always a highlight but nothing was better than a relaxing Sunday barbeque or a slightly chaotic movie night.

Her heart ached as she thought about Jesse, losing family never got any easier and it sucked. All Reyna ever truly wanted was to race well into her old age, maybe even taking on a prodigy she'd teach all her secrets to. But she wasn't gonna get that, it wasn't who she was and she knew things were only gonna get more crazy for the twenty-three-year-old. But as she looked at Brian while remembering Dominic, she knew there was no one else in the world she'd rather be.

Reyna tunes back into their conversation as Brian spoke, "When you got busted, you know, whether I was a cop or not, you know if there was anything I could've done, I would've done it." Roman looked up at Brian, "Is that why you let that dude and Reyna go in L.A?" Brian looked at Reyna who smiled lightly at him before he looked at Roman, "Yeah. I think that had a lot to do with it." Roman nodded at him before they all went quiet, each in their own thoughts.

Until Roman spoke, "When I got busted, it wasn't your fault. It was all on me, Mr Roman Pearce. Wildin' out crazy, man. No one can tell me nothin'. Ridin' solo." Reyna shook her head slightly as Brian stepped forward, "Yeah, well, not anymore." Reyna nodded as she hugged Roman, "Not anymore, brother." Roman hugged her before he and Brian fist bump. Reyna smiled at the two as they watched the sun go down, this was what family was always about for her; having each other's back even when they turn on you.

They headed back to Tej's garage late, the crew were inside fixing up some cars and detailing others. Reyna smiled at Brian before walking up to the spare room she had been crashing not wanting to endanger her friend Amira. She picked up her phone and dialled Amira's number who answered straight away for once, "Hey Rey! How are you? You are okay, right?" Reyna smiled at her friend's concern. "Hey Mira, I'm alright. Though I have to let you know somethin', if you don't hear from me within the next few days..." Reyna took a breath.

Before Reyna could speak, Amira had cut her off. "Don't you dare do that to me! Listen to me, Reyna. You are the strongest woman I have ever met, so don't give me the whole "If something happens to me, forget me" bullshit. You are gonna be fine because no one can stop Reyna Toretto!" Reyna had tears in her eyes due to her best friend's words, "Thanks, Mira... I needed to hear that." The two spoke for a little bit longer until Amira said bye due to the date she had.

Reyna leaned back against the headboard of the bed, running her fingers through her hair until a knock on the door caught her attention. "Come in," Reyna spoke as she removed the plaid flannel leaving her in a grey tank top and denim shorts. "Hey, Reyna. Just wanted to check in on you," Brian says as he sat down on the edge of the bed. Reyna sat with her knees to her chest, "I'm alright Brian. In just under twenty-four hours, I'm a free person. Assuming things go right for us, of course." Brian laughed as he nodded in agreement.

Just as Brian went to speak they heard a loud bang, jumping up the two rush to the balcony looking down at the garage to find Roman and Jimmy covered in grease while Suki was laughing. Reyna and Brian burst out laughing catching their attention. Tej, who was originally annoyed at the childish behaviour between Roman and Jimmy which caused this mess couldn't help but smile seeing the pure joy on Reyna's face.

Roman and Jimmy continued arguing as Reyna tried to calm down, wiping the tears away as Brian went down to help them clean up the mess. Suki and Reyna looked at each other and instantly began laughing again, the two couldn't help it. Reyna finally calmed down once Suki began helping them clean up, she smiled down at the small family below her, her heart swelled with joy in hopes to one day introduce both families to each other. And looking at Tej, someone more.
