Not one for recklessness, Asher Solace is the type to avoid such behavior as he's content with doing his own thing and staying relatively safe. This is primarily because he is not the type to run towards danger, but rather from the danger.

So when his crush make a discovery while stargazing and drags him along, he's forced to venture outside of his comfort zone for the first time as he and his crush are thrown into a world neither of them knew existed.

As such, it can be said he is reclusive and though it doesn't seem like it on the surface, he can actually be daring and brave in instances where it truly matters most. This is due to the fact Asher is willing to step outside of his comfort zone and put everything he has on the line to save his loved ones, especially his crush.

Since the discovery, he has become more resourceful and driven, two things that come in handy when your crush and their friends continue to drag him into the world that he would rather forget. But with no other choice but to accept the newfound reality of the world around them never being the same, he will gradually become more susceptible to being comfortable with facing danger as their personalities {especially that of his crush, Stacy Lennox} starts to rub a bit on him.

However, Asher is not without his faults as he's not one for confrontation and will often engage in passive-aggressive whenever he's jealous or angry or experiencing any type of negative emotion as he's very reluctant of being outspoken about his negative emotions unless he's forced to like the case regarding his mother in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Furthermore, he has a tendency to hold grudges against those who wrong him for a long time and it takes a while for Asher to forgive them [if even that]. Whether these grudges are minimally insignificant or large detrimental to him, it doesn't matter because at the end of the day, a grudge is essentially a grudge.

On the other hand, he's protective of his friends as he seems them as an extension of his family {with the slight exception being his crush, given how he's in love with her} and is loyal to them {crush included} to a fault. As a result, he is seen as being very dependable and always willing to help out whenever possible.

Ariel Solace - Although he loves his mother dearly, the two have a less-than-typical kind of bond, given how vastly different they are. While she is extroverted social butterfly, he is not and while he loves diving into the past, she looks outward to the future. As such, he has a somewhat awkward relationship with his mother due to the fact that neither of them share each other's interests.

Their dynamic will only get more awkward in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as an attempt to bond with him, she ends up attending college with him as a student on top of his father acting as one of the history professors in the college (having taken up the offer to teach there after he resign from his position as a high school history teacher prior to the end of Transformers).

As such, he will naturally become embarrassed by her and try to avoid her, whereas she will continue to try to engage in conversation with him that will (at times) make things more embarrassing. This will (eventually) escalate to the point where the two get into a fight and during the midst of said fight, the two decide to get his father involve since he is often the mediator of the household.

However when the two finally reach his father's office, he is nowhere to be seen and his office is destroyed. With his father missing and his whereabouts unknown, the two will find their bond improving for the better as through their search for his father, they will come to realize they need each other more than ever, especially when they discover his father's disappearance is tied to something bigger...

Cassim Solace - A "Daddy's Boy" at heart, he is a lot closer to his father than with his mother due to their shared interests in history and museums. As a result, he grew up often relying heavily upon him since he knew his father was a better listener than his mother. Furthermore due to their similarities in personality, he simply bonded with him better than his mother.

This will remain to be the case well into Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, even as strange things start occurring for his dad. As such, he will initially start to get worried, but when his father assures him he's fine, Asher will come to believe him, having been so certain of his father telling him the truth. However, when he and his mother find his father nowhere in sight and his office destroyed, he'll come to realize his father wasn't telling him the truth and that his father's disappearance was just the first step toward something bigger...

𖤓 His fear of driving stemmed from the constant car accidents he read on the internet all over the world and almost crashing into the front of his parents' house when he had struggled to stop the car in time. Even though his parents had assured him that he was learning and would get better with time, the fact he nearly endangered his parents was enough to kickstart his vehophobia as he absolutely dreads the idea of driving and will avoid it at all costs whenever possible.

𖤓 His relationship with Cyrus is going to be similar to Sam's relationship with Dylan in the sense that Sam and Asher are both distrustful/suspicious/jealous of their respective rival. Though while Sam will not be paired with Carly in the same way as the movie, the concept will apply to Asher in the sense he has to deal with Cyrus flirting with Stacy and make subtle hints that he's also interested in his crush. This will also fuel Asher's inner insecurities since he'll start to believe that Cyrus is a better fit for Stacy than opposed to him.

𖤓 Similarly, his relationship with Stacy Lennox will mirror that of Kristoff and Princess Anna from Disney's Frozen in terms of the way they will gradually bond with each other with him eventually falling for her first and her falling harder.
