Physical Description
Arcadia is a dark-skinned girl with curly, medium-length hair and dazzling hazelnut praline eyes. In the past {The Intern era}, she kept her hair in a bun, occasionally leaving her hair in a ponytail. Additionally, she owned a pair of light beige glasses, often wearing long-sleeve shirts and jeans, hiding the bruises caused by her father.

As of now {Detective Cipher on the Case! era}, Arcadia's hair is either down or in playful hairdos (ie: space buns). She occasionally wears glasses, relying on her contacts instead. As for her casual attire, she often sports out medium-length sleeve shirts hair, black leggings (fall)/beige shorts {spring}, short black boots and a blazer. Arcadia also always brings out a pair of sunglasses when she's truly invested in a case.

Although Arcadia is not much into formal events, her formal attire revolves around a pair of pearl earrings (a gift from one of her clients) and a sea-green mist flowing dress with flowers surrounding the bottom corners of the dress. She will also sport her curly hair down and complete the look with a simple but elegant diamond studded heart-shaped necklace (a gift from her late mother on her sixteenth birthday).

Arcadia's demon form is currently unknown. This will soon be updated (or not), depending on how the story/stories go.

A stray she found shortly after the disappearance of her mentor, Arcadia kept the black cat in hopes of protecting her newfound pet in the way she failed to protect Axel. As such, she named the stray Avil (meaning renewal) and together, the pair have been inseparable. Avil is a black feline with midnight blue irises, gaining a glow-like effect after getting affected by mutagen.

Abriella Morales-Cipher - Since her mother passed away when Arcadia was young, the young girl doesn't remember much about her (if anything, at all). As a result, there isn't really a relationship between them.

Estefania Cici Morales - Initially, these two shared a fond relationship. Although her tía could be strict at times, Arcadia never took it as abuse. But upon turning sixteen, their relationship took a unexpected turn for the worse. Upon discovering her mother's side of the family as demon hunters and her powers manifesting, she ran away. Bill Cipher - Having endured abuse from him over the years, she seems to despise him more after discovering his (former) affair, her new siblings and a world she originally thought to be a myth. Her dislike towards her father merely intensifies after learning how she's the only one to inherit his powers, as she fears turning into the kind of person she would grow to hate (aka her father). As a result, these two do not have a close relationship.

Seraphine Maura Foxit-Cipher - If Seraphine is the closest Arcadia gets to a mother, then she'll gladly pass. Her stepmother (in a sense) is more vain, cruel and despicable than Arcadia's father. More so, these two share a toxic relationship as Seraphine is always talking poorly of her to the point where Arcadia knows she will never come to love her stepmother.

Katherine Cipher - A splitting image of her mother, Arcadia and Katherine have an antagonist relationship. Katherine despises Arcadia with every fiber of her soul, which only worsens over time. Because of this, Arcadia tries avoiding Katherine at all costs.

Elliot Cipher - At first, Arcadia and Elliot were on antagonistic terms. He despised everything about her, and she wanted no part with her extended family. But when the two find each other in their vulnerable states, they open up. Since then, their relationship has improved for the better.

Will Cipher - At first, Arcadia and Will were on friendly but awkward terms. Yet as time went on, she grew to genuinely care for her newfound uncle. Their bond only grew closer and after learning about their abusive and outcast lifestyle the two currently face.

Florence Lyra Cipher - Arcadia and Florence were on friendly but awkward terms but became close after spending time together. Since then, the two have considered each other as sisters.

Krystal Elisa Cipher - At first, Arcadia and Krystal were on friendly terms but when she sees her father hanging out with Arcadia too much, Krystal grows jealous as she has never been close to Will. As such, she turned on Arcadia and began tossing insults towards her, resulting in their fragile bond.

Axel Carson - At first, neither one had cared about each other. She was some random girl, and he was just some arrogant detective. But when Arcadia inadvertently saved his life, Axel almost immediately takes her on as his 'apprentice'. In the process, meeting Axel allowed Arcadia to trust people, while meeting Arcadia gave Axel another chance of being a better person, save his marriage and be a better father to Zane. Yet, all good things come to an end as one final case may potentially shake the core of their relationship.

Zane Carson- Initially called on by him to solve the disappearance of his father, Arcadia and Zane gradually began growing a bond, coming off as his older sister/her younger brother. Yet when more clues about his father's disappearance come out, so does his secrets.

Through Zen Aku (one of Zelia's henchman/Zelia belongs to Janis_The_Bunny), Zane learns the 'truth' about the night of his father's disappearance and briefly turns against Arcadia, believing she can't be trusted. But once she explains her side of the story and what really happened that night, their bond will improve once more.

Personality:
Arcadia, for all of her years of living, has never seen herself as equal. A freak of nature by birth and a puppet for higher beings, she doesn't see much for herself. Her human features make her a laughingstock in the demon realm, while her demonic abilities force her to hide the truth from everyone.

Because of this, Arcadia is known to be very secretive. She holds her cards to her chest, refusing to show any sign of vulnerability to anyone, given the trust issues she endured in the past. But despite this, Arcadia is a fiercely loyal companion to have once people get to know her.

As a lover, Arcadia will love-bomb her significant other to a significant extreme, which can potentially annoy people. However, she does this, given how she hardly got love in her younger years. With the right usage of words and correct tone, she'll ease out of her love-bombing ways and learn to value her lover without constantly showering them with praise.

As a dimension hopper (a term coined for detectives dealing with supernatural forces), she tends to teleport through multiple worlds. Although she can travel between MLB and TMNT's world with ease, she is mostly connected to TMNT, given how her mentor disappeared in the universe. After Axel is found safe and returned to Zane, Arcadia no longer feels connected to TMNT universe and leaves, feeling her task is complete.

Power(s) and Abilities, if any:
Flames - Arcadia has the ability of developing orangish-red hue flames on her command. However, when a deal is made, her orangish-red hue flames turn into a bright blue. Additionally, she can extend her flames as a shield since fire does not affect her. Though she is relatively strong with her fire-wielding abilities, Arcadia gets weaker at controlling her power when under pressure or surrounded by water.

Dream Manipulation - Like her father, Arcadia has the ability of entering people's minds in the form of their dreams. Upon entering their mind, she is capable of doing the following: bring images/ideas to life and inquire information from anyone within the person's mind. Unlike her father, she is unable to change the appearance of herself or others. When she leaves a person's mind, the trance ends and the person wakes with a jolt.

Body Possession - Like her father, Arcadia can take over a person's mind with a "deal." Once the deal is in effect, the person affected is trapped in a ghost-like state while she has full range of the victim's body. When taking over the body, the victim's eyes turn yellow with black slits (signaling Arcadia's control over her victim) while their voice remains the same.

Mind Manipulation - Although strongest when entering dreams, Arcadia can manipulate a person's mind at will through planting false memories or erasing certain memories. Similar to her father, this ability is activated by touch alone. While this ability is used, the victim remains in a trance (much like the Dream Manipulation ability), enduring a haze-like state once she leaves their mind.

Levitation - She can move any object with a snap of her finger. However, she is limited to small items as the stronger the object weighs, the harder it will be for her to control the movements.

Weakness(es), if any:
Lack of Physical Combat - Because her powers are mental-based, she lacks little to no physical attributes, making her vulnerable to physical attacks. Due to this, Arcadia is trying to improve her hand-to-hand combat skills in hopes of making the chances of her succeeding higher in her favor (without using her powers).

Shorter lifespan - During her time as a human, Arcadia will quickly realize she gained a significantly shorter lifespan than when she was an half-demon. However, this weakness is only temporary. Once she returns to her normal state, she will no longer become burdened by this weakness.

Close-Range - A downside to her powers requires her to be within range of her victim and give her rights for her powers to come into play (hence why, like her father, a deal is always involved).

Martial Arts - A skill developed through her mentor, Axel, she will further continue this skill during her time at New York. This skill gives Arcadia the basic techniques of fighting, which will give her an edge against her opponents (at least, those that don't know martial arts).

Leadership - Among her 'squad', Arcadia is often selected to lead her team in various missions. On her own, she's a great leader, but among others well... her leadership style tends to clash with various people.

Demon Magic - Considered to be her "main" acquired skills, Arcadia is gifted in her demonic abilities. More so, she is particularly gifted in the area of dream manipulation.

Name and symbolism behind the animal:
Ferrets symbolize playfulness, vigor, optimism, friendliness, inquisitiveness, cheerfulness, cunning, ruthless, slyness, and intellect.

Kwami, if any:
"Addie" (as she chooses to use while in this state) is a gender less kwami who goes by she/her pronouns. Powering up the Ferret miraculous, she serve as the kwami of introspection. As a kwami, "Addie" can fly, levitate, and phase through solid objects. She can also carry objects that are larger and/or heavier than her. As a kwami, she is able to transform Janis [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny] into Starlet, a cosmic-themed super heroine.

Kwami's appearance:
Like any kwami, "Addie" resembles the actual ferret to a certain extent. Like other kwamis, she is a small being, standing at around 10 centimeters or 4 inches in height. She has reddish-like skin, arms and legs, though she lack fingers and toes. She also possesses a cone-shaped nose along with a medium-length tail. Since being with Janis [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny], however, her appearance has included clothing and a tiny charm bracelet designed specifically for her.

Kwami's personality:
Addie's personality is similar to the one she possessed in her half-demon form with a few tweaks. Unlike her half-demon self, she is more mischievous. Additionally, the kwami is somewhat carefree, willing to let the girl exercise her options. Despite this, she remain secretive of the miraculous's true powers and her wielder's connection to Zelia [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny].

Due to her secretive nature, Janis [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny] will soon become distrustful towards her kwami, especially as more secrets come out into the light.

Kwami's relationship with other kwamis:
Although Addie is a relatively new kwami, she is most comfortable around Gaagii and Kawaii [OC belongs to as these two were the first to greet her.

With Kawaii [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1], the two became friends easily, but with Gaagii, their friendship took a longer time to develop. However once Gaagii witnesses Addie protecting him from Kaydee, that's when he'll begin trusting her for the first time. From there, the two will grow closer as Addie and Gaagii share tales of their abuse.

Initially, she was also fond of Kaydee, enjoying her chaotic nature until Addie saw the coyote kwami bullying Gaagii. After defending the raven kwami, she ended her friendship with Kaydee, refusing to be friends with a bully.

After ending her friendship with Kaydee, Addie ends up becoming friends with Plagg, Aulii and Trixx who all affectionately allow her to be part of their "Pranking Trio" group as a honorary member. Had Addie been a permanent kwami, most likely the name would have changed to include her as well.

Abilities:
The common abilities are strength, speed and agility in addition to making the user nearly invulnerable. The Celestial Miraculous also grants an special superpower, known as Astro Spark. Yet under the guidance of Zelia [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny], she'll gain another power with deadlier consequences....

Special Power(s):
Astro Spark - Activated upon releasing cosmic powder dust from her stellar compact, Starlet is able to send a electrically-charged attack on her opponent. This ability can only be used once, as she will only have five minutes before being forced to detransform back into her civilian form.

Astral Mark - Under the guidance of Zelia [OC belongs to Janis_The_Bunny], Starlet has the ability of manipulating her opponent, physically taking over their body. Doing so leaves a star-studded mark on her victim, which will begin glowing within a matter of minutes. From there, her victim will burn to their death and reduced to ashes, if the mark isn't removed in time.

1. Although Arcadia is a half-demon, she does not have access to her demon side and cannot transform on command (at least, not right now). In addition, she can't shift into her family's shape (a triangle) which further increases her status as the laughingstock of the Nightmare Realm.

2. Her name was originally Angelina when I first wrote her. But recently, I changed her name as I felt it didn't truly fit the character. As of now, her name is currently Arcadia.

Additionally, she was written as a Miraculous Ladybug character with her crush being Nino Lahiffe, but I discarded this concept since I wanted Arcadia to explore her roots as a detective. However for those interested in the original concept, feel free to read "Angelina Into Action!" by Janis_The_Bunny.

3. Before she became "Arcadia Cipher", her true birth-name was Xitlali Lan Morales, a name she kept until the end of her internship. After one of her bosses told her she would be a detective, it came at the cost of changing her name. Not wanting to lose her opportunity, she changed her name to Arcadia Cipher, which was approved by her boss.

4. Arcadia is fluent in three languages: English (by birth), Spanish (by birth) and French. Out of the three, she found French to be the hardest.

5. She's also the very first character I wrote, so I'm proud to see this character still exist.
