When the bell rang, y/n went to the canteen and met her best friend. The two girls took their lunch and walked to their table.
Y/n started to eat her pasta, bored from the lessons she had that morning.
"You look tired" exclaimed the blonde girl in front of her
"You know, it's school, isn't supposed to be funny being here"
"You are so negative, listen... I have to tell you something"
Her friend bit her lips as y/n looked her questioningly. Alexa started talking again but was interrupted by the arrival of two guys, one of them wrapped his arm around the blonde's shoulder.
Y/n looked at them disgusted, she knew the two boys because were so popular at school, Ryan and Sam.
"Hey honey, did you tell her?" Started Ryan looking at Alexa
"I was trying but you interrupted me"
"Tell me what?"
"Well... There is a party this week, at Ryan's home and he invited me!"
The boy blinked
"Good luck" responded y/n

Y/n knew a thing for sure: Alexa's dad would never let her out, let alone with a boy. That's why Alexa had never had a boyfriend.
The blonde girl, knew that convincing her father would be difficult, the rule was that she could only go out if her best friend did so too, but y/n didn't care about having a boyfriend, go to the parties or anything like that.
"You will see"

Y/n stopped eating and took her notebook out the bag, she opened it ignoring the two boys at the table and took a pen, while Alexa was explaining her situation to Ryan.
When y/n turned a page, she realised something: that wasn't her notebook.
There were small drawings in the corners, many broken phrases or texts that seemed to belong to songs in a hasty handwriting, peraphs the owner wrote quicky to not forget the important things, as she did with her music.

She started reading few songs, they weren't bad, but she couldn't stop thinking about where her notebook had gone and who had taken it.
Alexa looked at her friend
"You are so pale, what's up?"
"Someone has my notebook! I need to find it!"

While the girl was looking desperately in her bag for the real notebook, Ryan and Sam got up and went to a corner of the canteen
"Alexa can't come to the party if y/n doesn't come too. The problem is that she doesn't want to go out with anyone and I don't think anyone with right mind wants to go out with a weird one like her"
"What if we find a desperate guy to get her to go out with him? At least, you could take Alexa to the party"
"Someone said party?"

A voice of a third boy interrupted the two
"Hey, aren't you the guy who always goes around with his guitar and the rest of his boy band?"
"It's not a BoY bAnD, we are the Sunset Curve. I'm Luke by the way"
"Okay, Luke, what you want?"
"I heard that you have a problem. May I can help"
"How?"
"You will do a party right? I have a band, let us play and I will do what you want, oh and also you should pay"
"No way"
"Fine, so the pretty girl will never go out with you, I guess"
Ryan bit his lips
"Okay, I accept"
Sam looked at him in shock as he gave to the blue- eyed boy some money
"So, what should I do?"
Ryan looked over the girl who was walking quickly towards the exit of the canteen.
"You see that girl, hang out with her and make sure she will come to the party with you"
Luke smirked at the y/h/c girl, knowing she was the same one that fell on him that morning
"No problem"
