Y/n was so happy. Everything in her life was going fine. She had an amazing boyfriend who loved her and with made songs, a band, and great friends.

She went downstairs when she heard the doorbell.
"Y/n, can you go and open the door?" Asked her grandmother
"Sure"
She opened it and saw two people in front of her. She was so confused, and not happy at all

"What are you doing here?"
"Usually, people say 'Oh wow, how long! Nice to see you'" Said a woman
"Oh HoW lOnG!" Imitated the girl rolling her eyes
The two entered the house
"Mom, dad, what are you doing here?"
They looked at each other
"We will tell you soon"

That afternoon, the two parents, the grandmother and y/n were sat in the living room. The girl was so nervous, having her parents at home was a bad sign.
"So?"
"We are here because we decided to take you with us at our home in New York"
Her eyes widened and she got up the sofa
"No! I have my friends here, school and... My band"
Her parents looked at her
"Band? I thought we were clear about that, no music, is useless. You should think to study!"
"But dad..."
"No!"
"We are very good ok?! And I'm not leaving my friends!"
She ran outside the house

After a few minutes, she was in front of Alex's house. She took a deep breath and knocked
The boy opened the door, surprised
"Y/n?"
Tears fell down her cheek
"Alex"
She hugged the boy
"Come in"

Y/n was on the bed next ti her best friend
"Woah, it's a bad situation..."
"Yeah, but I'm not going with them"
"If you want, you can stay here with me. My parents will accept, don't worry"
She smiled
"Thanks"
He rubbed her cheek
"Hey, we all have horrible parents. Reggie's parents are divorcing, Luke's parents don't support his dream of becoming a musician, like you, and my parents don't accept the idea that I'm gay"
She hugged him
"You are my family, I won't leave you"

Days went by. Y/n never turned back to her home but stayed with Alex or in the garage with Luke.

Y/n, Alex, Reggie and Alexa were in the garage. Alex and y/n were talking about some new songs while Reggie was cuddling Alexa.

"And after this you start play" Said the girl to the blonde haired boy
He nodded
"I love this song"
"Thanks, Luke and I worked so hard" Said blushing
When the door opened, everyone looked at the blue- eyed boy
"Oh, finally you are here. Thank you for coming" Said Reggie ironically
The boy had a smile on his face
Y/n was so worried
"Luke, what happened?"
He went to her and took ger hands
"We are going to play at the Orpheum!"
All the band's members eyes widened
"You should be serious"
"I am!"
Everyone cheered up
"C'mon, let's practise for our dream"

Finally the day arrived. Sunset curve were ready to play and let their dream come true.
After the rehearsals, they went down the stage. Reggie kissed Alexa with passion
"You were great, honey"
"I played for you, baby"
Y/n looked at Luke
"And you? For who you played?" Asked with a smirk
"Oh, for my one and only rosy- cheeks" And he kissed her
She looked in his eyes
"I love you so much, guitarist boy"
Alex tried to change the topic, maybe because he was feeling so single
"Let's go to eat something"
"Yeah, street hot dogs!"

Y/n looked Alexa.
"You don't come?"
"No, it's a band moment"
The blonde took her friend's hands
Y/n smiled
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah, a lot. I mean... The Orpheum..."
"I know, it's a dream uh?"
"Yes, and it became true only thanks to you and your father. You two helped me a lot, always telling me to try and never give up"
Alexa hugged her
"It's your chance to show your parents they were wrong. Now go, Luke is waiting for you" Said looking at the boy next the door

Y/n went next to him
"Let's go or they will eat without us!" Said the girl
He grabbed her arm and stopped her. She looked at him confused
"Before, I have something for you"
She played with the necklace that he gave to her months ago. She used to play with it every time she was nervous or she missed Luke.
He smiled
"Are you nervous?"
"Yes"
He took her hands
"I will be with you, next to you every time. If you need some help, I will be here to help you. But I'm sure you will be great"
She blushed
"See? That's my rosy- cheeks"
She giggled
"Thanks Luke, you are always the best"

He scratched the back of his neck
"Are you nervous too?"
"Yes, but not only for the Orpheum..."
She looked confused
"You know that you mean the world for me..."
He knelt down
She covered her mouth
"We are young, but in those months we have discovered that we are indispensable for each other. What I mean is that even if we will be famous and a lot of girls will want me, I will always want you. I want to spend every moment of my life with you, until death and beyond"
He took the ring and put it on her
"So, in many years, when you will be ready, I hope you will want to marry me"
She smiled and took the boy's face in her hands
"I want to stay with you all my life" And she kissed him

The sunset curve took some hot dogs from an old car.
"Guys, are you sure about that? I mean, it has a bad smell" Said Alex
"Hey, street dogs haven't killed us yet" Replied Reggie
"Yeah but I don't want to die like a virgin"
"Nobody dies like a virgin, life fucks all of us" Said y/n
"Or me" Said Luke kissing her, making her blush and  giggle the boys
"Okay guys, this is our evening, we will become legends"

After few minutes, the only thing that could be heard in that street next the Orpheum, was an ambulance. The boys and the girl were loaded onto it and taken to the hospital. Luke and y/n were holding their hands. The only thing they saw was some light, blurred figured of people saying incomprehensible things and then total darkness.

"Luke..."
"Don't worry rosy- cheeks... I will be next to you..."

So, it was how the Sunset curve never played at the Orpheum, but spent their lives doing what they loved: making music and being together. Eventually, Luke was able to stay with his rosy- cheeks until the end of his life, and he continued to love her beyond.
