Dee looked down at the money on the table in front of him. The same generous amount he brought every time. "So what you tryna say? I got shit to do and you wasting my time" he frowned. Maxwell, the owner of the funeral home, looked down at the money with pleading eyes. He knew that his bills needed to be paid and his family had to be fed.

Maxwell shook his head yet he slid the money closer to him. "I'm just saying I can't do this forever" he looked up at Dee. Maxwell assisted in 'getting rid' of bodies for Dee. It had been over a year since the two worked together and Maxwell was becoming paranoid as the news was picking up on the disappearances and deaths of the people in the near town.

"I ain't asking you to do it forever" Dee looked down at the body that Maxwell was preparing to take to the cremation chamber.

"Alright man. Are we done here?" Maxwell asked while indirectly looking around. He had a problem with having a straightforward conversation with Dee. It wasn't like he was scared of him or anything but he just didn't want to piss him off.

"Yea" Dee nodded and proceeded out of the back door of the building.

The reason Dee wanted to rush home was to make sure that Bri would be gone before Cara returned back to the city. She had told him she was going on a little weekend trip with Katie and Arianna but she had to rush back today for some reason.

Bri was someone that Dee fucked around with from time to time. He'd known her for a long time and respected the fact that all he had to do was give her a lil money and she would keep her mouth shut. Bri was also the girl that Cara had seen him with that night at the rooftop bar.

As he started his car he opted out of listening to music and decided to listen to the thoughts in his head instead. On the highway there wasn't many cars due to it being late at night, this made it easier for him to speed. Until he seen police lights flash behind him. He cursed to himself and pulled over just to get this ticket out of the way.

He put the car in park and looked through the rearview mirror seeing that the officer had turned the lights off from the patrol car. He also noticed that it took him longer than the usual time to actual get out of the car to come approach him.

Now moving his eyes to side-view mirror he chuckled as he recognized it being Charles, Cara's dad. He rolled the window down and slouched down further in the driver's seat. "Wassup" he greeted him.

"Wassup? I'm not one of your friends. License and registration" He demanded. Charles kept his eyes focused on Dee. If looks could kill Deion would be long gone. He grab the items from Dee's hand and glanced over it as if he really cared.

"Fuck you pull me over for?"

Charles continued looking at the documents and then tossed it back to him. Not handing it over but literally tossing it in the car. "You got a Broken tail light that's why"

Dee looked down at the license that was now on the floor and the registration card that was on his lap. He had to mentally talk to himself because Charles was really trying him right now. Killing a Sheriff wasn't on his list of things to do today but he was about to add it. Keeping his calm he looked back over at him "A tail light? That shit petty I know it ain't broken you just saying anything"

Charles raised his eyebrow "Hmm You sure?" he walked away from the window and to the back of the car, tilting his head looking at the lights on the back of the car. He grabbed the baton and used the heavier end to strike one of the lights. Charles then walked back to the window "Looks pretty broken to me" he smirked.

It took everything in Deion to not reach over in the glove compartment. "You know what? You right. Ima go get it fixed in the morning. Anything else?"

"Yeah you can also stay the fuck away from my daughter" He mugged Dee.

Deion slowly shook his head with a fake confused expression on his face. "I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about. Who is your daughter?" Dee was far from slow and knew that if he admitted to knowing Cara it could possibly be used against him in the future. Especially if Charles was somehow recording their conversation, you never know.

Before Charles could respond, the dispatcher on the walkie talkie called out for multiple units in regards to a possible pursuit in the nearby the area. Charles responded and then looked back over to Dee. "You have a good one" he took a small step back from the car with an eerie smile on his face.

Deion wanted to run him right over but he really applauded himself for how calm he had been throughout this interaction. Switching gears and putting the car back in Drive, he proceeded the route on his way home. He called Cara on the drive there but she didn't answer the phone which was unusual of her.

As he approached his house he seen that Cara's lights in her house were on and her car was in the driveway. After he kicked Bri out he was definitely going over to Cara's house to see what was wrong. He pulled into his garage and quickly hopped out. As he entered the house he noticed it was quiet, very quiet.

Dee went in the living room and wasn't surprised at all to see Cara sitting on the couch. He could tell she had been there for a while because she made herself comfortable laying down wrapped in a blanket while scrolling on her phone. She looked up and smiled when she seen him "Oh Hey!"

He looked around the room and then back at her. "What you doing in here? How you get in here is the real question"

Cara sat up and crossed her legs while fixing the blanket so it was still covering her body. "Don't worry I came through the front door this time. No more sneaking in"

"Bri let you in?" he asked and watched as her smile dropped when he said her name.

Cara rolled her eyes. "Yeah the lil bitch you had in here? Mhm she let me in"

Dee couldn't believe that everything would be that smooth for her to just let Cara in. He studied Cara's blank expression for a few more seconds and then left out of the living room. This was becoming weird.

Walking into the foyer of the house he stopped and looked down at Bri's body that was sprawled out at the bottom of the stairs. Judging by the unusual position he could tell that she fell down the stairs or was pushed. She had to still be alive after the fall because there was a gash on the side of her head, where the puddle of blood formed.

Deion was beyond shocked. He knew Cara wasn't weak and definitely would fight but he didn't know she was crazy. He went back to the living room "Aye what the fuck happened?" he approached the couch and snatched the blanket off of her.

Cara groaned now that she knew she was going to be cold again. "Can you give me the cover back? You know I'm anemic." She still had her attention on her phone, as she sat unbothered.

Deion snatched the phone out of her hand and tossed it across the room. Certain that it was more than likely broken by the force he used. "Cara im serious"

Cara eyes widened at his actions. "Umm that was rude" she stood up and walked out to the foyer where Bri's body was. Deion followed closely behind her angrily. "Well when I came over here hoping to see you this nice young lady opened the door. I told her I was friend and she said she was your friend too. I thought it was odd so then I asked her was she fucking you and then she got all defensive"

Cara looked down at the body and then shrugged getting closer to Dee as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "She then called me out my name being all rude and shit. You know I don't stand for disrespect so I called her out of her name too blah, blah, blah. Long story short I asked her if she wanted to play a game and.." Cara looked back at the lifeless body again and then up at Deion. "As you can see she lost"

Cara had managed to leave Deion confounded as he couldn't even say anything to her right now. He just stood there for a good three minutes until he was able to get his words together.

"You remember how I told you I don't just give my body to everyone and how you couldn't play with me.." Her big brown eyes gleamed with innocence despite what she had just did. "Well this is the consequence of you fucking playing with me" She unwrapped her arms from around him and slightly pushed him back before going back in the living room to retrieve her now shattered phone.

"Cara ion know what type of timing you on but this shit wild as hell" Dee followed her throughout the room.

"I only asked you for one thing Dee and you couldn't do that and now I'm wrong for reacting to it" she shook her head in disbelief. Cara completely believed that her actions were justifiable. She liked him a lot and the fact that he couldn't follow the one requirement she asked for made her snap.

"You crazy as fuck yo" He grabbed her arm so she would stop moving.

Cara jerked her head back at what he just said. "I'm sorry repeat that" she looked into his eyes, that once bright and innocence gleam in her eyes was now gone as she had a sinister look to her.

"I said you crazy as fuck, psycho, delusional allat" He was serious about the situation but couldn't help but smile. It was like he was slightly becoming more attracted to her right now.

Cara now had tears building up, her emotions were all over the place. "I can't believe you just called me that. Let me go!"

"Ion care about you crying either" he laughed. The last time he felt bad because she was crying ended up with him getting beaten with a picture frame. "Sit down!" he practically shoved her back to the couch while holding her down.

"No let me go. Why are you trying to hold me hostage? Don't make me call my daddy" she squirmed under him but the weight he was using against her was too strong.

Deion frowned "Ion care about you calling yo weak ass daddy. Chill the fuck out" he used his free hand to pull out his phone dialing Booka's number. "Aye bro I need you to pull up on me. Yeah bring the truck and park in the garage" he said a few more words on the phone all while staring at Cara.

Once he was done on the phone Cara sighed "I'm hungry are you hungry? I can cook us something" she smiled obviously in a better mood than she was in a few minutes ago.

Deion noted how many emotions she had went through within the last hour and just knew that Cara was not right in the head. He got off of her and sat next to her "Yeah go ahead and don't try no crazy shit or ima have you laying right next to that dead ass bitch over there"

Yall I promise I will try to make them have a normal day together ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜
