Deion

Deion currently stared ahead at the music plaque that sat in his home office. Putting many of the details of Cara together from what she told him at the dinner two days ago. She was away from her family. Good. She didn't have too many friends around. Good. She's an introvert. Good. Best of all, she was single. Excellent.
The only mystery was why did she really leave home. She seemed to skip the reason several times.
"So did you get her number or what?"
Dee looked away from the plaque and at the door where Keisha stood. He ran his hand down his face and pulled the open the drawer in the desk. He looked over the bottles inside and grabbed one. Pushing his body away from the desk he got up to go get some water. Before he reached the door he looked to the right and seen Cara in her bedroom window, unaware that anyone can see her. She moved around frantically which put him under the impression that she was running late. He partially felt bad since he stayed up late on the phone last night continuing to know each other. Well getting to know her because almost everything he said about himself was a practically a lie, he never wanted anyone to know the real him.
He moved to the side of the of the window where he couldn't be seen but could still get a good view of her. She dropped her robe and his eyes went to the matching bra and panty set she had on. Even from afar her curves emerged, he already mentally undressed her in his head last night.
Cara stepped into her all black jumpsuit, it slid on her easily and hugged her shape like a glove. She disappeared and then his eyes searched around the house to open windows that he could see through.
"Maybe she went to go call the police on yo ass. She's a pretty girl, you do have good taste. Hopefully she's just smarter than me."
Deion mugged Keisha "Shut the fuck up man damn." His hallucination getting the best of him at the moment. The pills still lingering in the middle of his palm. Where is she? Did she see me? He thought to himself. She suddenly appeared back in her room slipping on her blush color blazer and blush heels to match.
"Hmm. I remember when you brought me those same red bottoms as a sorry gift. Then you turned around and threatened to kill me with that same stiletto. Are you going to do her the say way Dee?"
"No I didn't!" He walked away from the window and looked at her. She nodded and held up the same blush stiletto's this time they had blood dripping from the heel.
"Yes you did Dee. Admit it, You did!"
Deion took the pills that were in his hand and looked away from the door waiting for her to fade away. When he turned around she was gone. He went over to the window and seen that Cara was now backing her white 2022 Audi Q5 out of her driveway. "Fuck!" he shook his head.
He looked down at the piguet on his wrist and cursed to himself he was about to be running late for a meeting. He was dressed already but the drive was atleast forty -five minutes long. He grabbed his phone and key then headed out the door. Today was a Friday so he chose the Hellcat, his usual Friday car.
Once he was in the car he opened the browser up on his phone again and read over the address to the Cara's agency. He scrolled through the different tabs and smirked when he found her own personal tab, listing her successes so far and her motivation. He read over it for the one hundredth time today since this wasn't the first time he seen this. "My mother had a real passion for homes, every house we drove by she could name the exterior design, from the frames, paintings, drive ways, front yards, etc. I found it to be odd when I was a kid but now I am exactly like her. In love with beautiful homes and also love to see the smiles on my clients faces when I help them choose their dream home" He smiled, he was proud of her from the number of homes she had sold already.
Before pulling off he looked over at Cara's house and noticed the camera she had placed by her drive ways. He was so focused on her last time that he didn't even notice it. "That ain't stopping shit" he mumbled to himself and pulled off. After the now fifty minute drive, because of traffic he was finally pulling into the parking garage. He got out and tossed the keys to the young guy in charge of valet. "You scratch my car and ima make sure to scratch the coffin ima put you in" he gritted and got in the elevator heading up to the lobby.
Once he got to the lobby he walked right to the conference room ready to get this meeting with his label over with. He went into the meeting and looked around the table greeting everybody and then getting on his phone again. This time he put the address of Cara's agency into google maps. He sat up some in his seat and seen it was only ten minutes away. He locked his phone and looked up pretending to listen to what the meeting was about.
1 Hour Later
"You know you have to submit your songs-"
Deion cut his manager off. "Yea I know Ima have em done by the due date. I ain't forget"
She nodded "Okay sounds good.. Umm how's the new house you liking the neighborhood?" she tried to make conversation. Melanie was a good ass manager and worked well with Deion and his mental issues. Her patience was top tier and she was known to be mouthy which was something he needed, anyone else he would run them over.
"Yeah it's cool. Far as hell from everything but that's how I wanted it to be" He pushed his body up off the wall as the elevator stopped at the parking garage.
"Make sure you pick up that phone when I call since you like to go ghost during the wrong times" She snapped and waited for her car to pull around.
"I hear you" He tuned her out and looked at the same valet driver from earlier. "Aye you trust him? Nigga look like he fresh outta eight grade driving these cars and shit"
Melanie turned to him "Don't even start that shit. We been doing good staying out of the news. That's the last thing you need is to have your name on a headline for beating up an innocent person again" she put emphasis on the 'again'
"You right" he grabbed his keys from the other valet driver and went around to the driver's side. He pulled up and started the directions to Cara's job. Speeding in the direction as if he was going to be late for something.
Thankfully she was in the West Loop instead of the busy ass streets of Downtown Chicago. He parked a few cars down from the entrance of the building and waited till he seen her. He spotted her car across the street so he knew she was here.
His five percent tinted windows made it easier for him to sit there without anyone noticing. About twenty minutes passed before her heard her soft ass voice followed by a laugh. He loved her voice though he shifted in his seat a bulge started to form in his pants just thinking about it. He thought about how she would sound screaming his name, her voice rasping until she couldn't form anymore sound. A smile formed on his face at the thought. That same smile quickly dropped when he seen somebody come out of the building with her.
He knew she was single so he was confused on who this was and he wasn't on the site because he checked. He rolled the window down just a little so he could hear their conversation. His hand dropped down to his waistband as he fought to urge to pull his gun out and kill this man in broad day light.
"You're fine it's no problem. I understand how schedules get mixed up. I'm so happy for you and your wife she will love the home!" Cara nodded at the guy and shook his hand.
Deion could now relax a little since it was a client, but he didn't like the fact that he was fucking with her schedule hence why she must've been rushing earlier. All she had to do was say the word and he would get rid of him on sight.
He rolled the window back up and continued to sit there. He wasn't going to move until he seen her get in her car and head home.

"Yes I know, I'm so last minute but I figured it out by now." Cara never really cared about celebrating her birthday anymore but with her being born on Halloween her friends forced her to go out every single time.
She pulled into her driveway and cut the engine while she continued talking to her friends. "Instead of the club, let me take care of the decorations and set up at your house Cara. You have so much space we can utilize the outside too if needed, I can have patio heaters and more" Katie suggested, she was a event planner so this was right up her alley.
"I can take care of the music, food and guestlist" Ari pitched in.
"Fine... I need a damn costume though what should I go as?" She groaned and searched up some stores that would be open tomorrow as she knew that would be the only time to find a outfit.
"Girl you literally have a Wonderland closet, it's full of thing's I've never seen you wear. Im sure you will put something together. Let me go and start the planning I will call you guys in the morning" Katie was the first to leave the call which left only Ari who typed away on her screen.
"Umm am I inviting any family?" She hesitantly asked.
"No family Ariana. I'm deadass" Cara only had a relationship with her dad but this wasn't a type of party she would invite him to anyways. She did not get along with the rest of her family solely because of the way they treated her and her dad when her mother's situation took place. Not to mention the 'crazy' names they gave Cara when she went into the facility was something she couldn't forgive, at least not yet.
"Alright I'm having someone work on a flyer right now. It should be done by later tonight and I'll start sending it out. Ouu wait invite Dee he was cute and you seem like you was enjoying his company the other day"
Cara looked in her rearview mirror and seen Dee's All black Hellcat pull into the drive way. "Yeah he was nice, he's actually just pulling up let me call you back" she hung up not giving Ari a chance to answer. She looked in the mirror again this time at herself to check her makeup.
Cara opened her door and let her heels hit the concrete driveway. She opened the back seat door to grab the few bags, containing a few food items she stopped to get on the way home.
"You need help?" Dee asked as he crossed the street approaching her.
"Yes, I was also just about to text you when I got in the house to tell you about my little party im having Sunday" She moved to the side so he could grab the bags in her backseat.
He filled both hands with bags so he would only do one trip and moved out of the way so she could close and lock her car door. "A halloween party?" he furrowed his eyebrows and followed behind her.
"Umm more so like a birthday party" She used her key to open her front door. She put her foot up to make sure Leo didn't run out of the door. "Thank You, you can set the bags right here. Also you definitely don't have to wear a costumer, I don't even know if I'm wearing one"
He nodded "I ain't the partying type of nigga. But for you, Ima definitely slide through"
Cara tried her best to hide her smile and kicked off her heels, letting a loud sigh come from her mouth. "I'm sorry I've been wanting to do that all day" she chuckled and her eyes fell down to the gun that she could see the faint outline of under his shirt.
"You good, I'm sure you gone look Beautiful in whatever you wear that day. But ima see you Sunday. I'll make sure it's a birthday you won't forget" His smile today was different since he had his grills in.
Cara shifted her weight to her other leg, she wasn't sure what he was doing but he was making her panties wet without even trying. "I'm excited to see what you mean by that" She caught on to his smile and pushed her index finger into his chest "You're a charmer I can see."
He chuckled and put his hands up in defense "What you mean Ian did shit?"
"You know what you're doing Goodnight Dee" She slowly closed her door and put her head down. "Whew Leo is it too early to say I think I like him?" she spoke to her dog who watched her cluelessly.
Deion on the other hand walked back down her driveway while slowly rotating his neck hearing it crack.
"You're doing good Deion, you almost got her!"
