LORD HADES had called upon his wife, Persephone, for the sole purpose of dinner that night. It was something small that they had started as a cute couple's thing but then turned into a wonderful habit of theirs. The day had been long and tiring for him. And the day was free, yet endlessly boring for his wife. He felt as though the days never changed for them. It was the same thing every week, every month, every year; things had become rather dull with all this repetitiveness.
It was always that Hades would end up reluctantly busy from the moment he woke up and would be busy with the matters of his realm till the couple finally managed to sit down for dinner together before bed. It happened so much that Hades had wished, like always, that he had gotten the better end of the stick when choosing what to rule over all those years ago.
Yet, in another way, Hades was more than glad that he got the Underworld. He loved the Underworld because it meant that most people left him alone; it also meant that they didn't dare cross him as they feared his realm and the power he got from it.
However, Hades sometimes wished they had chosen differently just to see how things would have shaken out. He just wanted to see how it would make things more fun and interesting.
There were days Hades had been bored and created his drama, only for it to bite him in the ass later in life or even later that same day, depending on what he had done. Hades wasn't exactly proud of that, creating fights between his family for no reason. In a lot of ways, it made him sound like Ares and or Aphrodite, both of whom loved creating and being in the center of said drama.
But there were things Hades was glad he did do. For starters, he had made up to Persephone for all of his cheating and the eventual birthing of his mortal children; Hazel Levesque, Nico, and Bianca Di Angelo.
( Although his oldest mortal daughter - his sweet Bianca - had ended up dying rather early on in her young mortal life. This is something that Hades, himself, still felt as though that entire whole ordeal was somehow his fault. )
Additionally, Hades didn't have any more children afterward with neither god nor mortal, either. He had promised that to Persephone long ago after the births of his mortal children.
Hades supposed that his love for his mortal children and his act of cheating were the source cause of his wife's initial reflection on their marriage and their dynamic with their children. She developed a bit of intrigue at the possibility of changing their relationship. Hades was more than shocked when she suggested that they try to do something that was not inherently monogamous and something closer to polyamory.
Persephone had pointed out that something was clearly not working for them. She had noted that they were inevitably falling deep into a sort of routine and that's why they fell into these ruts...it was one of the reasons why Hades would go and do things with other mortal women. It was because these mortal women would be some new and unrelated challenge, even if these were challenges that the god of the Underworld didn't inherently like in the long run. The lord of the Underworld hated how he would stupidly go out and do something that he knew would inevitably hurt his beautiful Queen of the Underworld.
Hades had started cheating in the recent centuries, which was very unlike the god, who had always been loyal to his wife; He was arguably on the list of very few gods who were faithful to their married partner.
This is what made Persephone fully realize that they needed something to break the cycle that they kept inevitably putting themselves in. The goddess of Spring realized that they were missing something in their marriage. The queen of the Underworld had tried to think of everything that they could change their routine. She desperately tried everything to pull them out of the rut they both were putting themselves into. The goddess had even consulted with the likes of the gods of love like that of Aphrodite.
Meanwhile, Hades had got them both marriage counseling from Psyche, the goddess of the soul and wife to Eros. This led to Persephone's grand conclusion that they needed another to bring another person into their marriage. And Persephone wasn't bringing in a person for some causal fling or some kind of replacement or anything of that fleeting nature, but someone they both could love deeply and someone that was a permanent part of their marriage. A person who could break them out of their old routine and bring a new spark by just beginning themselves.
The thought of trying to find someone who fits both her own and Hades's personalities, as well as their varying interests was something of a nightmare.
Hades, unsurprisingly, wasn't exactly known for his remarkable people skills. Fortunately enough for the king of the Underworld, his wonderful wife had a thought on someone whom she knew they both would like for them.
Although, the person, a woman, who caught his wife's eyes bore the hapless title; bore the title of the daughter of Poseidon.
Normally, children of Hades's two brothers, mainly that of Poseidon as Zeus had no real care for his spawn unless it involved himself in some way, were off limits to other gods. Hades had usually respected that, especially, with how plenty of people had acted and with how some people still are currently behaving. Hades would've stayed away from her too. He would've minded his business and would have tried to find someone else. Hades would've forgotten all about her if the child hadn't also been named the Protector of Demigods. Her name had been floating around both camps for a couple of years now, and Hades couldn't help but smile with pride at hearing her name followed by her accomplishments.

Lord Hades brushed a hand across Persephone's bare hip where there was a cutout in her midnight-colored dress. She looked up at him with bright adoring eyes. The Queen of the Underworld appeared to him as she did when they had first met - her eyes were sky blue like that of her father's, and her hair was blonde like her mother's skin, and Persephone looked rather stunning this evening. Not that Persephone didn't always look beautiful, but there was something about this form that she took. It was special and nostalgic in a strange sense. She was spring in all its untamable glory.
What also helped is that the King and God of the Underworld was very attracted to the way her dark blue and black dress hugged her slim form; which Persephone was well aware of and had picked out the dress for that exact reason. She loved to drive Hades mad. She loved to wind him up tightly to the point that he couldn't keep his well-manicured control over himself. She loved when lost control and would just so unleash all that energy onto her. It was untamed and feral. It was like nature. It was like spring.
They were more alike than different. A fact that people always find so hard to believe. Yet people always seem to forget that a vital part of nature is death. The death of a plant meant the birth of a new one as the death of a plant meant it would provide future nutrients to others. It's a part of the natural cycle of things. She might not have been a god that deals with death in the sense of mortals, but she did deal with death in the sense of nature itself. She may have been the sun to Hades's moon, but both are large planetary bodies that paint the sky with their rather unique glow. They were puzzle pieces that were meant to be together. Both life and death are so ensnared with each other. They were like the natural life cycle of all things.
"Good evening, my love," Hades purred lowly as his hand slid across her waists as he suddenly pulled his wife closer to his body. Persephone maroon colored lips slowly twisted into a very amused smirk as as she let her husband pull her towards him.
"Husband," She greets softly as she moves to brush her hand against his face. The King of the Underworld looked especially handsome tonight as well. Lord Hades had on an all-black ensemble that made his already pale skin appear a little less pale than it usually did. His skin also appeared more lively due to the fact that the God of the Underworld had gone topside to handle a seemingly 'important' matter at Olympus. Although, Hades, still had a certain undead appearance to himself. The King and God of the Underworld were tall and imposing. Hades's hair was on the long side of short; which Persephone often took advantage of and often her hands through it or used it to pull on when they intimidated each other.
"How was Olympus?" She questioned as she looked at Hades with curiosity. Hades knew his wife better. He knew that Persephone didn't have much care for the matters of Olympus. At least, not for the reasons he had been there today. It had been a pointless matter. Just his brother, Persephone's father, Zeus, had been paranoid as ever about a rather minuscule and ridiculous matter.
Hades, at the time, hadn't mind when he was surprisingly summoned to Olympus to talk about such matters. But, late on, when he realized one rather important goddess would not be in attendance, as the matter did not pertain to the demigods, he had grown quite disinterested in Zeus's matters.
"I didn't get to see her if that's what you're trying to ask, my Love," he mused coyly as Persephone's lips began to wander his skin, leaving marks in their wake.
"Such a shame," Persephone sounded truly displeased as she began to kiss Hades's neck slowly and tenderly. Her breath was hot and fanning over his neck as she pulled away just a little. "I don't see why you don't just bring her down to the Underworld already."
"You must have patience, Beautiful," Hades remained the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. He could feel his wife pout a little against his bare skin. "She's my brother's daughter, and truly just as stubborn as him," Hades reminds the blonde as she pulls a little away from him and moves to kiss him properly. She slowly leaned in and placed a gentle, soft kiss on his lips. It was slow and almost agonizing, yet, Hades looked pleased as he got a kiss from the beautiful blonde goddess. He slowly deepened their kiss as his wife moved her hands to cup his face with gentle hands.
Hades's delicate hands snaked lower on her body. After a few minutes of kissing, the Queen of the Underworld pulled away. Her lips were red and swollen and slightly parted as she stared up at Hades, still panting a little from his mind-numbing kiss.
Hades smirked down at her as he reached forward with one of his hands to brush a stray piece of blonde hair away from her face. "You know, she won't be very happy begin swept away and dragged to the deeps of the Underworld. She's not quite like you, who was eager to get away from your parents' grasp. We must win her over first, my Darling."
"I know, I know." Persephone hums. She looked up at him through thick, dark lashes and stared up at him with her ever-alluring stormy eyes. "It's just..." she paused as her lips turned up in a smile that was far too innocent. A smile that was far too innocent for someone like that of Queen of the Underworld. No, Persephone wasn't as naive and innocent as people constantly believed her to be. The smile that she now wore was calculated and mischievous in all its intent. "It's just, if our beautiful girl was here now than just imagine all tthenwe could be doing right now," retorts Persephone with a clear mischievous glint in her stormy eyes as she moved her hand to smooth over his chest and traveled downwards. The blonde's hand softly, and rather confidently, gripped at him over thick black fabric.
"And what is that?" Hades questioned her despite already knowing the answer to his question.
"We could be sharing." States Persephone simply and the lustful look in her stormy grey eyes said all that was left unsaid. Hades swallowed thickly as he stared at his wife in pure mesmerization. The ever-alluring blonde slowly moved away from him and grabbed his hand as she led him closer to their shared bed. She pushed him down so that he was sitting on the edge of the bed before moving to sit on her knees in front of the bed. Persephone then moved, with elegant practice, to firmly wrap find around the waist of her husband's pants and boxer.
Persephone paused in her intimate moments as she looked up at him silently as if asking if what she was doing was okay for him. Consent was very important for her. And sure, they could get lost in each other's somewhat innocent touches sometimes, but when it truly came to the matters of sex, she always wanted to make sure it was something they both wanted. In that way, Persephone was certainly very unlike her father, who took whatever he wanted from his 'lovers'. Hades nodded silently at his wife as if telling her to continue what she was doing. Persephone slowly tugged them down his pants and boxer. Hades's black pants were shrugged off and Persephone was presented with her husband's hard, thick cock.
"You're so handsome," whispered Persephone, hunger quite clear in her voice. She turned her full attention to the cock in front of her. Hades started caressing Persephone's soft blonde hair. In full honesty, his touch was way more soothing than it had any right to be. Opening wide, the Queen wrapped his lips around the nice, thick head. She ran her tongue in a circle around the head before tracing the slide teasingly. The gentle caress turned into more of a grasp like her husband was clinging onto her for dear life. His body was truly coming alive under the woman's passionate and rather skillfu touch.
