THE GREATEST ESSENCE OF CURSED ENERGY WAS THE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS OF THE WIELDER. THE PAIN, THE FEAR, THE ANGER THAT THEY ALL EXPERIENCE ON THE BATTLEFIELD, THROUGHOUT THE CURSED LIFE OF A JUJUTSU SORCERER. IT WAS A CORRUPT LIFE, CREATED BY A CRUEL GOD OR GODDESS ABOVE; HOWEVER THERE WAS A SILVER LINING BUT ONLY ONE OF THE FORM OF THE MOST POWERFUL WOMEN IN THE WORLD, ONE WITH THEIR SECRET HIDDEN FOR YEARS IN HISTORY. THE JUJUTSU SORCERESSES.

The title and the responsibilities of the strongest jujutsu sorceress was no laughing matter or light feat, Akina Tengan could really vouch for it. Especially when the higher ups who would take any chance they could to hire her and Satoru Gojo to do their dirty work or clean up the mess they made. It was ironic, they were both the strongest, yet they had no choice but to follow the orders of the corrupt leaders because they knew if they tried to take over, nothing would change. Now it was their turn to teach their students the way of the corrupt world and how they can change it in their own ways.

In her secret study where she often took refuge from the outside world and to often escape the harsh reality she lived in, she held in a circle made of salt where a cursed object that haunted the world with its traces and its ability to give power to any cursed spirit that came into contact with it but could also ward them off, the finger of the king of curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

The ebony haired woman sat on the ground, crossed legged and her hands on each side of her knee positioned as if she were meditating. Her eyes focusing on the cursed object of the dismembered finger of Ryomen Sukuna, the king of curses who ruled of chaos, destruction and blood lust in his true form and where her ancestor, Ayaka Amamiya battled against him. She was the one who managed to barely defeat the king, to seal his cursed energy and had destroyed his grave wax and what was left of his former glory was now his twenty fingers from his four arms.

Now his power had come back during this era, stronger than ever and not even the higher ups could sustain control over this. For now, they could only collect the fingers until a solution could come along.

Akina had tried many times, she truly did but not even her and Satoru could destroy the fingers of the king of curses. The ugly finger could only continue living in its own form until it was confused by another cursed spirit and they couldn't allow that to happen.

A soft exhale escaped from Akina's lips as she kept her focus on the finger. The exhales continued as she kept her focus on the cursed finger. The purple skin covered with wrinkles and graveyard wax, the long but brittle black nail stood still, as if it wouldn't alone cause damage to their whole world and cause an imbalance to the world of cursed energy and cursed spirits. The power was overwhelming but nothing Akina couldn't deal with, if she couldn't destroy it, she could at least find a link to the king of curses weakness.

Red mist escaped from Akina's fingertips and it extended to her hands, the red mist flowing elegantly towards the fingers as it's force trailed towards the cursed finger. Suddenly as the force of her magic reached the finger, a great spark of the finger and her own magic clashed caused her concentration to break as her eyes opened.

She let out a sigh as she muttered to herself. "It's okay, it's okay. Just concentrate Akina", she whispered to herself, the very same words she was told years ago.

"It's okay Akina, it's okay. Just concentrate Akina", a soft silky voice gently encouraged Akina. The dark haired and skinned teenager tried to keep her concentration on the flower beds of the flowers that were yet to bloom in front of her. In a secret garden where sorceresses often took refuge in, a self built waterfall was built by the sorceresses before them as it contained holy water to keep cursed spirits and evil entities out of it.

The Afro-Arab Asian mixed girl kept her eyes tightly closed as she tried to summon the power of her. She could feel the magik within her, it was very strong but the inability to execute it was growing even more frustrating than before.

Akina released a ragged breath as her past attempt was causing her mind to become hazy.

"Hey hey, it's okay. Just take a minute okay, you don't have to always perfect it on the first try", the sorceress next to her reminded her, her voice was soft and reassuring as the calm waters of the deep ocean. She was in her early twenties while Akina here was in her teen years, sixteen years old.

Akina shook her head, "Hanami I can't. I just can't", her voice was breathy and unsure, her eyes filling with water due to frustration.

The sorceress known as Hanami Kawase reached her hand to Akina's. "Akina. Just look up at me, okay?", the dark haired woman with eyes bluer than the ocean itself politely requested.

Akina shook her head, "I can't do it. I can't do it. I tried so many times, I keep on trying and trying over again and nothing ever works. It's never enough. I just can't do it", the younger sorceress at the time had a difficult time forming actual words, her emotions were becoming too powerful.

Hanami saw her state, her hands gently moved to her cheeks that were stained with tears, her thumbs gently moving away the tears from Akina's caramel colored cheeks.

"Hey hey, it's okay. It is frustrating, it really is", Hanami reassured the younger sorceress who she was supposed to be teaching. "But I know something else is on your mind, isn't it?", she asked Akina, knowing somehow that the sorceresses had been hiding other troubles and pain.

Akina didn't really want to talk much about everything that was going on, but she felt she could trust the sorceress with her thoughts. "I'm sorry, it's just I don't think I'm really capable of anything. Everything I do, I just fuck up and I'm always just never doing good enough or I'm not doing enough. And I just", the younger sorceress revealed her feelings, her true emotions she was hiding.

The sorceress known as Hanami could tell that someone was making Akina doubt herself. It was quite obvious Akina lacked confidence but she knew that her heart and mind were also dealing with a lot as well.

Hanami took a deep breath as she knelt down to Akina's level, being an adult she was taller than Akina but Akina's level was small, just like she tried to make herself so others wouldn't hurt her anymore.

"Akina. I know, my words won't really make a difference but I hope your own actions will one day", she started to speak, "People will doubt us as sorceresses. They have captured, convicted, exiled and even executed us, throughout all of history and all continents, countries and nations wide, cultural and religious, jujutsu sorcerers have always been alive but among them, existed us. We always existed yet others tried to erase our existence but here we are, we're still thriving"

The teenage sorceress did listen to her words but she didn't know what she was trying to tell her.

Hanami continued as she looked into Akina's amethyst colored eyes, "Akina, your power is great because it is your own. It doesn't just belong to the line of jujutsu sorcerers who came before us as our ancestors but it also is who you are, your power represents your uniqueness. You must also embrace who you are and see what you are capable of to, to fully master this power", the sorceress with long black hair that reflected blue started to speak.

Suddenly moving her hand elegantly, a mist of the light blue color started to flow from Hanami's hand. Akina watched the demonstration of how Hanami started to control the water that came from the fountain.

The hand of Hanami started to move elegantly and along with her hand, the water of the fountain started to move too along with her, the blue mints followed along the water, carefully flowing around it. With such precision and such control, the water even started to shape itself, changing the size, the mass, the length, even the color. Even showing a flat surface, Hanami started to control more quantities of the water, with the koi fish inside. The koi fish were swimming in the water gracefully.

As younger sorceress watched the fish swimming around, she couldn't help but feel her mind coming calm. The soft motions were soothing for her mind, the frustration started to slowly wash away, as if it were being cleansed by the water that Hanami was controlling.

Seeing that Akina was now a bit calmer, a smile started to gracefully curl on Hanami's lips. She controlled the water, taking it back to the waterfall and the lake that it along with the fish belonged.

"Akina, do not be discouraged by the words, the doubts and the actions of others or that your progress may not go the way you want. When I was your age, I was still learning how to breathe underwater properly but all the time I panicked and I could barely control the water without splashing myself or someone else in return", Hanami chuckled softly as she explained to Akina before sitting in front of her again.

"You struggled too with your powers?", Akina asked, her voice was low but still curious.

Hanami nodded her head, "Not only with my powers, but others also doubted me and saw me as a monster too. Even my own family", the older sorceress in her early twenties answered, her smile was solemn and her eyes held sadness in them but she held her head high for the sake of Akina.

Akina emphasized with her, she was seen as a monster too by many others around her but Hanami was anything but a monster. She was a kind and endearing person, she always lifted others up and had a really caring heart.

Hanami hands gently touched Akina's, taking them into her own. "Akina, I know you might see it now but when your power comes to you and you have control over it, you will see yourself for who you are. You will see you have a big heart, bigger than most people I have met in my life that holds love, a great mind, a good soul and a purpose in life that will help others in their darkest of moments", as she continued speaking, tears almost fell out of Akina's eyes as she let out a chuckle.

"Oh come on Hanami, I'm sure you're exaggerating", she chuckled softly, not feeling sure that the words Hanami said were true.

Hanami chuckled in return and shook her head, "It is all true Akina. One day you will see it and so will others, and they will love you for it. You will see how beautiful your heart, soul, mind, body and everything about you is, no one can dictate you about that either", she smiled sweetly, gently holding Akina's hand.

The younger sorceress shrugged her shoulders lightly and nodded her head in return, "Thanks Hanami", she smiled, wiping away the tears, "Sorry, I don't know why I'm crying", she apologized.

"No no, no need to apologize. Tears are normal, sometimes even a releasing single one can help you release something more", Hanami gently used her hand to wipe away Akina's tear and reached her hand out to hold onto Akina's hand again.

Akina felt the tear smear lightly on her hand, looking down, she noticed the red mist that usually flowed out of her hands when she used her magic started to show an illusion of a flower garden. The sight of the garden was quite calming, it made a the younger sorceress smile softly.

Hanami smiled softly as she saw this, "See Akina, you can do it. It might take some time but with some practice and trust yourself and your heart, you will get there", she encouraged Akina once again.

Akina nodded her head as she listened to Hanami's words, "Thank you, Hanami"

The sorceress in her early twenties nodded her head, "It's no problem Akina. Anything for another sorceress to see her true potential even if she doesn't see it herself just yet", she smiled softly.

˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚

The memory was almost so distant to Akina as she tried her hardest to concentrated, remembering the sorceress Hanami Kawase's wise and kind words to her.

"Come on. Come on", she concentrated further and as the red mists power struggled to penetrate the barrier of the cursed objects power.

However, with a bit of concentration and determination, the red mist eventually was able to touch the cursed energy of the finger. Holding the finger in mid air with her telekinetic powers, she was able to purge her own magic in the cursed power and the memories of the finger.

Her eyes were closed tightly as she concentrated her magic on crossing the barriers of Ryomen Sukuna's cursed energy. With her success, she was relieved but she felt she was now in a completely different space.

Opening her amethyst hues, she found herself in a different world. Her secret room was now gone, now all that there was this world. Only dark clouds decorating the red skies while the bodies of humans and cursed spirits were scattered everywhere, blood decorating the scene of ancient Japan in the Heian Era.

Akina stood up, feeling her heart pound against her chest as she turned around. 'What's going on here? What's happening?' She questioned herself, feeling the adrenaline pump through her mind and her body.

Suddenly a menacing laugh, one that sent chills down her body, erupted the gruesome and gory scenery and behind her, was the king of curses himself.

The giant figure of Ryomen Sukuna, his four arms, his two faces, his dark aura emanating through his cursed energy and his power.

"Ayaka Amamiya, it's so pleasant to see you again. Do you like my kingdom of blood? I made it especially for you", his menacing deep voice chuckled darkly, his four eyes staring down at Akina with hatred and mockery.

This was the Ryomen Sukuna was truly capable of, it was terrifying.

But in the corner of her eyes, she spotted a boy with pink hair, a nearly identical color and shade to Ryomen Sukuna's. A boy with a smile crawling on his lips but this smile wasn't evil in anyway, it was genuine. Kind. This boy had something about him, something very special about the boy in front of her. He had strength but he had kindness.

He walked forward and his hand touched the body of Ryomen Sukuna, but instead of the power destroying his body, instead it just started to absorb Ryomen Sukuna's power.

His body didn't convulse even once, instead it just accepted it.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU BRAT? GET AWAY FROM ME! NOOO!", the king of curses attempted to resist the absorption, it was no use, the boy was stronger than him. He had a strong will power but Sukuna was even more powerful in many more ways than the boy, in many more obvious ways.

Akina could barely see what was going on but she was taken out of the world and brought back into her study, her body jolting as her magik, much like her vision went maniacal. Her study was a messy of cluttered books and objects, her heart was still pounding from the adrenaline.

Questions raced inside of Akina's mind. The bloody scene of the Heian Era where Sukuna ruled, why did he think she was Ayaka Amamiya? Who was that boy and how could he easily absorb Ryomen Sukuna's cursed energy? There were so many questions that needed to be answered; but unfortunately now was not a good time to ponder. A mission to capture one of Ryomen Sukuna's finger was a solo missions of hers tomorrow and she had to be prepared for anything to happen. Especially the worst.
