"DAD, YOU WERE HALLUCINATING SHEEP on the road. I think that's a good enough reason to get some sleep." Dean rolled his eyes as Sam agreed with his niece. Aurora was behind Jack, the four of them walking in the dim-lit hallways of a hotel, desperately needing sleep.
Aurora put down her bag on the chair and she noticed Jack turning on the television, him smiling adorably at Scooby-Doo. She sat next to him, watching her favorite childhood show with him, but that was interrupted when Dean walked up to the pair, his expression seemingly annoyed.
"Hey...no." Dean was about to turn off the TV, but before he could, his eyes were glued to the show, him smiling slightly before turning it off.
"And you're on the couch, sport. All right? So why don't you go over there? Sit down and...here." Dean handed the Nephilim a bible, making Aurora shake her head at her father. He has been so hard on him and Aurora felt horrible for Jack and she tried her best to make him feel more at home.
"Jack, hey, I can take the couch. Why don't—" Jack interrupted Sam, his signature smile plastered widely on his face.
"No, no, it's fine."
Around an hour later, Sam came back to the hotel with burgers for everyone. Aurora was so incredibly hungry, she dug right in, savoring the taste of the meat patty. Jack as well was eating the burger with delight, him taking in large bites while Dean was judging him.
"You can slow down, you know. That's stuff's not gonna disappear." Aurora scoffed at her father, a stifled laugh coming out of her mouth.
"Are you seeing me eat right now, Dad?" Aurora said with her mouth full, Jack smiling at her. Dean just shook his head, knowing his daughter did have a valid point, but obviously didn't want to admit it.
The eldest Winchester grabbed a beer bottle and popped off the bottle cap, Jack imitating his exact actions, but before the young Nephilim could take a swig, Dean stopped him.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. How old do you think you are?"
"3 days, 17 hours, and 42 minutes." Aurora watched the two men in front of her drink their beers.
"Oh so Jack can drink a beer at three days old, but I can't drink one at sixteen?"
"No, you can't because I'm your father and I am responsible for you." Aurora simply sighed and rolled her eyes, taking a drink of her water.
"Just wait until I'm eighteen," Aurora mumbled under her breath, but Dean heard her clearly and his eyes widened at his daughter.
"What did you say?"
"Oh, it's nothing." Aurora smiled innocently as Dean playfully smiled back, knowing she was joking...mostly.
They continued to eat in silence until Dean noticed Jack was copying every single action he was doing. Aurora couldn't help but laugh at them and Sam only smirked. Dean's annoyed expression was hilarious with Jack's cuteness.
"This book, it mentions my father. Not Castiel, but Lucifer."
"Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's—he's big in the Bible. Lotta screen time," Aurora said while taking in another bite of her burger.
"And you... knew him?"
"Well, he's not really an easy guy to know. He's, um, he's kind of rough around the edges," Sam stated, Aurora scoffing lightly at her uncle.
"Well, that's an understatement," Aurora said under her breath, barely audible for anyone to comprehend. Dean started to explain to Jack how God was his grandfather and how Lucifer was evil. Sam then changed the subject, wondering if Jack knew more about his powers so they can hopefully find Mary and get her out of the apocalypse world.
"So, Jack, we know Kelly taught you things before you were born. And obviously, you can, you know, make people or things move with your mind. But, um... what else can you do?"
"I... don't know."
"Okay. For instance, say you wanted to—to be someplace else right now. Could you?"
"Can you teleport? If you wanted to be on the other side of that door right this instant, what would you do?" Dean asked rather abruptly. Aurora gave her father a pointed look, hating that tone of voice he was using with Jack.
Jack stood up from his seat and calmly walked to the other side of the door and closed it. Aurora let out a laugh she didn't even know she was holding in. Jack softly knocked on the door, Aurora getting it for him. He gave her a bright smile at the sight of the female Winchester and she reciprocated.
The sounds of the floorboard creaking made the Winchester's alert of a possible intruder on the other side of the door. Everyone stood up quietly as Dean was walking towards the door and Sam drew out his gun. Aurora was about to pull Jack behind her, but the Nephilim beat her to it, him already having his body defensive towards her like a shield.
Dean quickly opened the door and threw the perpetrator on the ground, soon revealing to be the prophet, Donatello.
"Sam? Dean? Aurora? Is God with you?"
The older Winchester's propped up Donatello on the couch, him seeming out of breath and exhaustion overwhelming his body. Donatello started to ramble about losing his soul, but before he could get deeper into his story, Aurora interrupted him.
"Why are you here?" Her voice was monotoned, not having enough patience at the moment.
"Yes. That is the question we all must ask." Aurora rolled her eyes and Dean noticed her frustration asked the prophet the question they actually wanted to get an answer from.
"Why are you in Wyoming?"
"Oh! Uh, well... After God left, I said to myself, "Donatello, you are so retired."I mean, who needs a prophet of God when there is no God? So... a few days ago, I'm online, checking out condos in Boca, and I am knocked off my feet by this weird wave of power. Not exactly like God's. More like... something new, something fresh. I was drawn to it. It's here."
"Wow. Right here. It's... you. Who are you?" Jack stared at Donatello, hesitant of this man's presence. Aurora was still behind the Nephilim, Jack not daring to let anyone be a threat to her, especially since he didn't know who this man was.
"I'm... Jack."
"Jack is a Nephilim," Aurora said from behind Jack's back. She walked away from Jack, him giving her a worried look, but she put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, immediately making him calm.

After the Winchester's agreed that Jack needed protection, the four of them went to a tattoo parlor so he can be warded. Dean still wouldn't let Aurora get a tattoo so she still had to wear her anti-possession charm necklace.
"All right, so, uh... I'm thinking something like this, right about here. Uh, you know what? Exactly like that." The tattoo artist looked skeptical at first, asking Jack for reassurance and he agreed. Aurora didn't even notice, but her eyes were practically glued to Jack's chest, her vision not coming off of the Nephilim.
Sam noticed this and he smirked at his niece. He walked up behind her and whispered something in her ear.
"Flower, his eyes are up here not down there." When Aurora finally figured out she was staring, she jumped in surprise, hitting Sam gently on his shoulder. He only laughed while Aurora's face was glowing red.
The tattoo artist started to trace along Jack's chest, but suddenly a surge of electricity flew him off of his feet, making the Winchester's eyes widen.
"Did you do that?" Dean asked Jack, Aurora following behind her father.
"I'm not sure. It hurt," Jack said, his tone of voice more high-pitched at the end, making Aurora smile.
"Okay, see, sometimes, things hurt, so you just man up and deal with it."
"Yes. I understand. Pain is a part of the complete human experience. Accepting it is a sign of maturity."
"Don't worry, Jack, you'll be okay. Getting a tattoo won't kill you." Aurora let out a small laugh, making Jack laugh as well.
"I know I will be fine because I have you by my side." Aurora didn't say anything, but she did smile while putting a hand on Jack's forearm.
After a couple of hours later, the tattoo artist finished up Jack's tattoos. "Okey-dokey."
Jack sat up from the chair and this time, Aurora noticed she was staring at the Nephilim. Jack looked at Aurora and asked her how she thinks it looks.
"What do you think, Aurora?"
"O-Oh, it looks great, Jack." Aurora was stammering over her words, making Dean stare at her in confusion. He stared at his daughter then at the Nephilim, questioning the complicated relationship between the two, but he didn't think anything of it.
Suddenly, Jack's tattoo disappeared, making the Winchester's eyes widen. Before the tattoo artist could notice it was gone, they quickly left, hoping nobody saw it.

The next day, the Winchester's had a particularly interesting morning as demons were starting to get word of Jack's existence. Someone was posing as Donatello and was with Jack, the Winchester's not knowing where he was. Dean was speeding in the Impala, hoping to find the Nephilim before any damage could be done.
Aurora was the first one to get out of the Impala as they finally reached the place Jack and Donatello-look-alike was at.
"Jack! Stop, don't do this." When Jack heard Aurora's pleading voice, he whipped his head around to see her with a worried look on her face, immediately making the Nephilim worry as well.
"Don't listen to them, Jack!"
"Alright, screw this." Dean drew out his gun and started to shoot at the faux Donatello, revealing Asmodeus.
"Jack, he's a demon," Aurora shouted at him.
"Howdy, boys...and girl." Swiftly, Asmodeus started to suffocate the Winchester's and Donatello, their throats gasping for air. Asmodeus attempted to convince Jack to open the gate to Hell, but when he turned around to see Aurora and his friends in such pain, his eyes glowed gold once again, mostly angry at the demon who dared to hurt his Aurora.
"You're hurting my friends!" Jack started to shake in anger, Asmodeus disappearing into thin air from fear of the Nephilim. When the demon was gone, everyone was able to breathe again, their lungs getting the air they longed for.

Aurora was laying on her bed in the bunker, her headphones drowning out the sounds from her father and uncle bickering. She was enjoying her music in peace until Aurora heard the sound of metal clanking.
Curious to what the sound was, Aurora cautiously stood up from her bed and walked out in the hallways to where the repeated sound of metal was ascending. Aurora soon found herself in Jack's room who was stabbing himself repeatedly in the chest.
"Woah, Woah, Jack, what the hell are you doing?" Aurora went up to Jack and grabbed the knife out of his hand.
"Exactly, what the hell am I?" Jack's tone of voice was unintentionally snappy and when he noticed the shocked expression on Aurora's face, he immediately apologized.
"I-I'm sorry, Aurora. I didn't mean to talk to you like that."
"It's okay, Jack."
Dean then came into Jack's room, him standing between Aurora and Jack. Dean took the knife out of Aurora's hand and he stared at the two teenagers.
"What the hell is going on here?"
"I can't...control whatever this is. I will hurt someone." Aurora's eyes softened at Jack, knowing he was much more than what he was thinking. Dean, on the other hand, had a different approach.
"You know, my brother thinks you can be saved."
"You don't believe that."
"Yes, I do." "No, I don't." Dean and Aurora both said simultaneously. They stared at each other and Aurora stared at her father with pain in her eyes.
"So if you're right?" Jack questioned specifically Dean.
"If I'm right... and it comes to killing you... I'll be the one to do it." Aurora stared at her father in disgust, wondering if he really said that, especially right in front of her. She saw Jack's broken expression and her heart tore into two.
"What the fuck, Dad? Are you serious right now?"
"First of all, watch your language young lady, and yes I am dead serious." Aurora shook her head in repugnance, the youngest Winchester definitely loathing her father right now. Aurora walked closer to her father, their bodies inches apart.
"If you do kill Jack, I will never and I mean never forgive you. I will leave you. Keep that in mind." Leaving her father speechless, Aurora grabbed Jack's hand and guided him out of his room and into hers, leaving a dumbfounded Dean to really think about what he just said.
