AURORA AND JACK WERE HOME ALONE at the bunker while Sam and Dean were out on a case. Much to Dean's dismay, Aurora somehow convinced him to let her stay with Jack to hopefully try and help him with his powers.
And with the time they had together, it helped a lot.
While the Winchester brothers were out hunting, Aurora and Jack formed a closer bond and the two of them finally felt at peace for the first time in a while. For the majority of the time, Aurora helped the Nephilim with his powers and was patient enough compared to Sam when he consistently pressured him. And as much as Jack had many failed attempts to control his powers, he was glad Aurora was there by his side.
With the free time they were able to muster up, Aurora would show Jack some of her favorite shows on Netflix. The pair were currently in Aurora's bed, watching The Vampire Diaries on her laptop.
"Why does Damon look at Elena like that?" Jack questioned the show in front of him, not really comprehending what was happening.
"Well, Damon is in love with Elena, even though his brother is dating her." Jack simply nodded before turning his head back to the screen. He wasn't paying attention to the show, no, he was thinking a lot about a certain word Aurora said in her sentence she said seconds ago.
Love.
Jack genuinely cared for Aurora and he knew deep inside that there was more than platonic feelings for her, but he didn't know how to describe it. Love was still a word he didn't understand, however, he felt a pull towards Aurora and it had to do something with love.
Before Jack could pay attention to the show, Aurora paused it, making him look up at her with confusion.
"Come on, I'm going to make my famous "Rory's Rice Krispies." Aurora got sat up from her bed and the pair started to walk to the kitchen.
"What is "Rice Krispies?" The young Winchester simply smiled at the Nephilim, leaving him still confused about what this food was.

Jack had a large smile plastered on his face as the sticky cereal and marshmallows stuck onto his fingers.
"See, I told you they were good," Aurora said with her mouth full. Jack smiled at her while taking in another big bite of his Rice Krispy.
"This is wonderful. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I think I found a case for Sam and Dean." Intrigued by his statement, Aurora followed Jack into the library where his laptop lit up with the article and her eyes widened at the headline. The first word Aurora saw was "zombies" and she wasn't sure what to think about it at first.
But before Jack could explain, footsteps escalated into the room as he kept his eyes trained on the laptop, typing away to find more information. Aurora looked towards the direction of the sound and saw Sam and Dean, walking tentatively as if something was wrong.
"How did it go?" Jack asked without looking up from his laptop.
After seeing the worried looks on her brothers' faces, Aurora walked up to them, her eyes filled with concern.
"Guys, what's wrong?" Aurora asked, but her brothers didn't answer her.
"Jack, um..."
That's when Jack saw the worried look on the Winchester's faces, he stood up from his seat, immediately feeling anxiety overwhelm his body.
"What's wrong?"
And that was the moment. The moment where Castiel, Aurora's platonic soulmate and father figure walked into the room, making the youngest Winchester's eyes fill with tears. She did not know what to do and her body was completely frozen with many emotions in her body.
"Hello, Jack."
"Castiel?"
"Yeah, it's me."
"No, we burned your body and what's burned, stays burned." Jack was confused and so was Aurora. The only difference was that Jack was able to talk, but for Aurora, she was still frozen in place, not sure if this was a dream or not.
"Jack... did you, uh... Did you bring Cas back?"
"I...don't know. I wanted him back. I...begged for him to come back, but..."
"Well, here he is."
After a moment of silence, Jack immediately embraced Castiel in a hug saying how much he missed him. As the father-son pair were hugging, Aurora slowly turned her head to her father, tears finally falling down her cheeks. Dean looked at her with worry and cupped her cheeks gently in his large hands.
"Baby, are you okay?"
"D-Daddy, is he real?" Aurora did not know what to believe anymore. She didn't tell anyone, but Aurora has been having nightmares and vivid dreams ever since Castiel and Mary died. These dreams were so vivid, she thought they were real and a majority of them were about Castiel still being alive. Every time she would wake up, her day would be crushed, knowing that the angel was still dead.
Once Jack and Castiel pulled apart, the angel turned his gaze to his daughter figure and he let out a small smile, something Castiel rarely did. Castiel opened out his arms slightly and before he knew it, Aurora tackled him in a hug. The teenager hugged him so tightly, Castiel would have passed out from suffocation if he wasn't a celestial being.
"Please don't ever leave me again," Aurora whispered to Castiel.
"I won't honey, I promise. So, Sam and Dean tell me the two of you are doing well," Castiel said, looking back at Aurora and Jack.
"Well, that's a lie," Aurora muttered to herself with a scoff and the men around her looked at the teenager with concern and sadness.
"What? What do you mean, Aurora?" Jack asked her with sadness, worried that he was failing at making her happy.
"Jack, I promise, it has nothing to do with you. Quite frankly, you made my life better." Aurora went up to hug Jack and he hugged back swiftly. The pair stood in each other's embrace for a long time, pretty much forgetting the other three men in the room. Before the pair could hug any longer, Dean broke them apart forcefully.
"Hey, hey, hey, that's enough contact." Dean glared at Jack while giving his daughter a pointed look.
Trying to fill up the awkward silence, Aurora cleared her throat and asked Jack to show the men what they have been working on together.
"Jack, show Cas, Sammy, and Dad what we have been doing when they were gone." Dean's eyes widened, thinking of something else, while Jack smiled brightly at everyone.
"Watch this." Jack went to the table and started to levitate the pencil and everyone stared at him with astonishment at the sight of the Nephilim.
"I can move the pencil." Jack had his signature smile on his face then turned to Aurora. "Thanks to Aurora, she helped me train and was able to keep me calm." Aurora smiled softly at Jack and she felt happy that she was able to help him, knowing everything he has been through.

After hearing about Jack's potential case for "zombies," Aurora was in her room, getting clothes ready to pack for the trip. A soft knock emitted her ears and she turned around to see Castiel standing at the door.
"Hey, Uncle Cas, come in." The angel walked into the room and the first thing he noticed was the Minnie Mouse plushie he gave her all those years ago. He smirked softly at the memory of giving young Aurora the toy and the smile she gave him that day, he will never fail to remember.
"I wanted to talk to you...about Jack." Hearing the Nephilim's name, Aurora looked up at the angel, her attention fully piqued.
"What about him?"
"You know what I'm talking about." Still not understanding, Aurora just stared at Castiel with confusion. He sighed, knowing Aurora won't admit anything, not now.
"I see the way you look at him and the way Jack looks at you. It's something I haven't seen in a long time with humans."
"Uncle Cas, if you're implying that there is something between me and Jack, I hate to burst your bubble, but we are only fr-"
"Aurora, you are aware I can literally feel you lying to me right now. " Aurora stared at the angel, but still kept her composure. She should've known better that Castiel being an angel, can make him sense certain things easier compared to humans.
The teenager sighed heavily, not really sure what Castiel wants to tell her. Aurora felt something deep inside her heart saying how she and Jack were much more than friends, but she didn't want to conclude with any theories.
"What are you saying Cas?" The angel took in a deep breath before finally saying what he has wanted to say ever since he came home into the bunker.
"You and Jack...are soulmates."
