DEAN, SAM, AND AURORA WERE AT A DINER, with the child eating waffles, as the oldest Winchester was picking out a song from the jukebox. Sam was on the phone with Bobby finding a potential case for the trio to check out.

"Okay, so Bobby found something in Wyoming."

"A job?"

"Maybe, small town, no one's died in the past week and a half." Aurora was subconsciously listening to the pair talk about a death, while she reached over her dad's arm and grabbed his burger, taking in a big bite.

Dean and Sam stopped mid-sentence as they watched Aurora eat the burger, Dean with a proud smirk on his face, and Sam having a more judgemental one.

"Baby, you can have the burger if you like," Dean said with his sweet voice, specifically for his daughter. Aurora's eyes widened with joy and continued to eat the burger, Dean taking her waffle plate.

Going back on the topic of finding a potential case, Sam and Dean figured it was worth checking out. Sam and Aurora got up from their seats and were ready to leave until Sam noticed Dean was still sitting, eating the waffles.

"Sure you want me coming with you?" Sam and Aurora looked at each other before looking back at Dean, wondering where this came from.

"Dude, I've told you a hundred times, that was the siren talking, not me. Can we get past this?" Dean nodded and put down his waffles, finally getting up from his seat. Dean grabbed Aurora's hand and was about to leave, until the child tried to get out of his grip, walking back to the table.

"What is it, Rory?" Aurora went back to the table and grabbed the burger that was previously on her plate. She smiled at her father and uncle as they gave her a small smile and a chuckle at the adorable girl.

After stopping by Jim Jenkin's house, the trio soon declared that there was definitely something off in this city. Aurora was sitting up on the springy bed in the motel room and Dean was researching plausible information for the case.

Sam walked into the motel room while Dean was researching information on the victims.

"Anything?"

"That cancer survivor? He was clinically dead, his wife pulled the plug, and now he's taking her out for their twentieth anniversary."

"Any sign of a deal?"

"No. What about you? Found anyone dying around here?"

Dean explained to Sam how the last person to die in the city, had no other explanation for their deaths. Dean and Aurora thought it was miracles, but Sam started to explain to them how miracles don't happen, especially in their line of work.

"Maybe 'cause there's no one around to carry them," Sam said while thinking in his mind how this is possible.

Dean grabbed his black roast coffee before walking back to his brother, a look of intrigue on his face. "What do you mean?"

"Well, grim reapers—that's what they do, right? Schlep souls? So, if death ain't in town—"

"Then nobody's dying. So what? The local reaper's on strike? Playing the back nine? I don't know, Sam."

Dean figured since the last person to die in the city was the kid, then maybe he could have seen something that could interest the hunters.

The Winchester's waited until nighttime to go to the cemetery and dig up the corpse. Sam and Dean were arguing how people are going to start dying after they figure out what was going on. Aurora was peacefully sleeping on Dean's lap, her head buried snuggly in his shoulder.

"Hey!" The voice of the unknown man made Sam and Dean turn their heads and quickly and Aurora woke up vigorously. Dean subconsciously held Aurora closer to his chest, wanting to protect her at any cost. They tried to muster up an excuse for what they were doing. "What are you doing here?"

"Okay, this—this—this is not what it looks like." The man looked down at the ritual and shook his head with disbelief, obviously not believing the brothers.

"Really? 'Cause it looks like devil worship."

"What? No! No, this is not devil worship. This—This is—this—this is, uh—I don't have a good answer." Aurora shook her head at her father's poor excuse.

"Look we're leaving." Before the trio could leave, the man interrupted them, making the Winchester's turn around.

"You're not going anywhere. Ever again...Sam." Once the man spoke of Sam's name, he became more cautious of who or what this man was. He slowly turned his head towards Dean, his eyes growing white.

"Alastair. I thought you got deep-fried, extra-crispy."

"Nah. Just the pediatrician I was riding. His wife's still looking for him. It's hilarious. Anyway." Alastair looked in Aurora's direction, her emerald green eyes meeting the demons.

"Hello, sweetheart. Good to see such a pure innocent human soul again." Aurora shot the demon a glare, Dean pushing his daughter further behind him as he shot daggers at Alastair.

Alastair then flicked his wrist, making Dean fly into a headstone, knocking him out immediately. Aurora ran to his side, making sure her father still had a pulse. Alastair tried to do the same thing he did with Sam, but no matter how many times he tried, Sam wouldn't budge.

"You're stronger, Sam. You've been soloflexing with your little slut?"

"You have no idea." Next, Sam flew Alastair to a tree, pinning him on the splintering wood of the oak. Before Sam could kill him, the demon flew out of his meat suit, preventing him from doing so.

The brothers invited Pamela over to the motel so they can become dead to enter the spirit world and try and talk to a boy. When Pamela entered the Motel, she saw Aurora sitting on the edge of Sam's bed and tilted her head in confusion, wondering why there is a child there.

"Who's the kid?"

"Oh yeah, you guys haven't met. Pamela, this is my daughter, Aurora. Rory, this is our friend, Pamela." Aurora jumped off the bed and joyfully walked over to the woman and stuck out her hand for her to shake.

"Nice to meet you," Aurora said cheerfully.

"Such wonderful manners. You sure she's your's Dean?" Dean rolled his eyes at Pamela and they started to prepare for the spell to send them off into the spirit world. Aurora snuggled herself against Dean's side, making everyone raise their eyebrows.

"Baby, what are you doing?"

"I'm going with you."

"Oh hell-- hell no. No, you're not going."

"Yes, I am." Aurora and Dean kept arguing against each other, both of them being the stubborn people they are.

"Aurora Delaney Winchester, I said no and that's final."

"I. Am. Going." The seriousness in the six-year-old's eyes scared everyone slightly. Dean or Sam has never seen this side to her and they knew she really wanted to go desperately.

"Fine, but you're sticking by me the entire time." Aurora's serious face soon turned into her classic joyful smile as she snuggled back into Dean's side.

"Wow, I was wrong, she's definitely your kid." Dean shot Pamela a glare as Sam and Aurora let out a small stifled laugh.

In the spirit world, Alastair held the Winchester's captive as he was teasingly holding up his scythe knife. He sliced the back of a reaper's neck, making Aurora hide her face in Dean's leg. He tried to comfort her as much as he could, but it was hard with a demon holding them captive.

Alastair was about to slice Tessa's neck until the brothers used their telepathic powers to drop the chandelier light on the demon, breaking the trap that was holding the reaper in. Soon, Dean, Aurora, and Tessa were in the middle of an empty street from teleportation.

"Where's your brother?"

"I'll go find him."

Dean was intensely holding Aurora's hand, the duo venturing to find Sam.

"Daddy, I'm scared." Dean stopped in his place and stared down at the child with sympathy. He crouched down to her level and held her small hands.

"I know baby, but we'll find Uncle Sammy soon, so don't worry. You'll be okay because you have the best daddy in the world to protect you. Dean 'booped' her nose with his index finger, visibly making the child feel better.

"Aww, such a touching moment. I'm going to cry." Dean and Aurora turned around to see Alastair mocking a cry.

"Not from me. I'm inside that angsty little noggin of yours." Alastair walked towards the pair as they trailed backward, Aurora now the one squeezing her father's hand tightly.

Before Alastair could continue on from threatening the father-daughter duo, a blue, and white-colored lighting strike, hitting the demon, making him disappear.

"What the hell?"

"Guess again."

Dean and Aurora turned around, revealing Castiel. Aurora let out a sigh of relief and smiled at the sight of the angel. She immediately went up to Castiel and embraced him tightly, catching the angel off guard slightly. The angel was not sure what to do, but a few seconds later, he hugged back the small child.

"What just happened?"

"You and Sam just saved a seal. We captured Alastair. Dean, this was a victory."

"Well, no thanks to you."

"What makes you say that?"

"You were here the whole time?"

Castiel started to explain how he couldn't help the Winchester's due to angel-proofing in the funeral home. The two men started to argue as Aurora rested her head on her dad's leg, hearing enough of the married couple fight.

"You made an exception for me."

"You're different." Castiel soon flew away, making Aurora wake up from her small snooze. Dean noticed his daughter's tiredness and picked her up from off the ground.

"I'm tired, Daddy."

"I know sweetheart. Let's go home."
