SYRENA CLEARWATER sat in her porcelain white bath tub, glittering bubbles surrounding her light blue tail as it hangs over the edge of the bath tub. Syrena had her dark black curls tied up on top of her head in a rather messy bun as she relaxed in the scorching hot bath water that smelt like freshly picked flowers. The siren was mostly covered by a massive amount of holographic bubbles that now held her pink bath bomb infused smell of lavender and rose; the bubbles were covering her like a thin blanket. They covered up the lower part of her neck, chest, a large quantity of her stomach and stopped right around where the scales of Syrena's tail just started to begin. Although, if her breast weren't covered by the bubbles, she would still be fine because her siren form had bra that took the form of cyan colored scales with beautiful colored jewels that dangled just below her breasts; Syrena found her scales to be much more flattering and natural compared to those ridiculous looking sea shell tops that mermaids and sirens are portrayed in the various art mediums.

The fluke of her tail had small droplets of water slowly falling off it and into the various bath mates that lined the floor around the tub. It wasn't anything that would take to long to clean-up or remotely damaged the floor beneath the bath mats. It felt nice for her to just have moment to relax and breath a sigh of relief. Syrena's been having a really rough week as her former boyfriend of two years broke up with her through text and not to mention the fact that he cheated on her with her former best friend. It was an utterly miserable and quite ridiculous situation for her to be in; the whole thing left the siren wanting to shrivel up and be forgotten or eased or she'll even take death as option. But, if anything, it has left her not wanting to ever love again. Syrena reaches over to the counter top near her and grabs a small tub of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food that holds a bright red plastic spoon plugged in to it's icy chocolate depths. It just one of those depressed bath soak kind of day.

Syrena's eyes darted over to the door as she hears someone softly, and very politely, knock on the bathroom door. "It's just me in the bathroom." She calls out knowing fully well that it was one out of her two best friends and roommates. She knew it probably had to be Spencer since he was the most formal one out of the three of them. The brunette male opened the bathroom door and entered into the bathroom. As particularly weird as it sounds to anyone who hasn't shared an apartment with a siren, this was quite a normal occurrence for the two of them. Actually, it was quite normal for all three roommates that is. It was probably a little to normal. But, all well. They weren't gonna change anything about it. The main reason why this is so normal is because one of the downside of Syrena's abilities is that she has to be in water at the very minimum of once's a day. Which means that meant there would be days where the trio would just pile into the bathroom and all just hangout in their having a spa day. They would do things that included, and certainly not limited to, faces masks, doing each other's hair, painting each other's nails or they had a sort of therapy group chat, and or they would just simply played board games as Syrena soaked.ย  " Hey Spence."

" Rough day?" He questions her sincerely as moves into the bathroom and sits on the floor that is near the bath tub, but not close enough that he's not in her splash zone. Spencer leans his back against the cold dark grey tile wall. Syrena groans as she slowly sinks down in the tube a little a bit. She heaves a dramatic sigh of exasperation.

ย  ย  "I hate men. Just delete them all from my nonexistent love life." She sighs before pausing to blow a lingering strain of hair from her face. "You know, Spence, I think I might actually start drowning them like all of those myths about me suggest." The siren joked half heartily as she spends him a look. Spencer tries his best to hide his smile, but the annoyed look that his best friend gives him sends him over. He's chuckling as she just merely shakes her head in exasperation. " I'm seriously! It's not even that funny." Syrena argues in slight annoyance as she flicks water at him. Which the male just laughs off and quickly dodges the girl's attempt at a water attack.

" Sorry, it's just, you know, I told you so." Spencer finally says sincerely after his laughter slowly dies out. "Zander was complete overgrown neanderthal-jock, who didn't know what he had. Plus, he really didn't bring much to the table."

" Ugh. I hate everybody and everything." She complains as she sends him one of her very famous melodramatic looks.

" What's today's reasoning for Rena hating everyone? Is it because of fish gossip? O is it because that utter idiot break up with Rena?" Hollered a very questioning Vanya as the dark haired girl walked down long winding hallways that lead to the main entrance of the living room. The sound of fast footsteps going towards the bathroom quickly followed suit of her question. Vanya soon appeared in the doorway.

" Great!" Syrena states sarcastically as she sinks a little further down in the ivory colored bath tube. " Does everyone know we broke up?"

" Honestly, I don't know, but it does seem like something that complete dumbass would totally do." Answered Vanya with a mere shrug of her shoulders. Something that might be a little too causal, but then again, all of three of them have become so undeniably close. The dark haired violinist walked further into the bathroom and studied the two of them before finding her right place amongst the duo. Vanya had end up sitting the furthest from the girl that was in the bathtub, but was also the one that was directly facing the siren. " Well, you're not the only one having a bad day. I literally just found out that my adopted dad died. And to make things feel worse for me, it wasn't even from any of my siblings but from the news on tv!" Vanya exclaims as she leans back against the wall

" Oh, that's rough buddy." Syrena tells her sympathetically.

" Yea, it rough. I also think they probably don't want me there, but if I don't go they just gonna use that against me. Just like my stupid book!"

ย  " One, you're adopted siblings are just a piece of work. Two, I still can't fathom why their so upset by you're book. You wrote everything from your point of view and never claimed anything that was outside of how you felt! It's like you're adopted siblings haven't heard of autobiography before?" Questioned Spencer annoyedly. Syrena smiled a little.

ย  " Plus, seeing Reginald Hargreeves is over party tending of Twitter gave me eternal young and great memes." Syrena adds jokingly. Which makes a small smile rise to Vanya's lips as she recalls the memory of them relaxing in the living room and reading all of shit posts that people were posting in support of Vanya.

" I say we go with Vanya to funeral as moral and emotional support." Spencer offers as he looks at the siren. She gives him a small questioning look.

ย  " I'm the emotional support, right?"

ย ย  " Obviously." Vanya answered for Spencer.

ย ย  " Then I'm in!"
