as one of the rich moms asks chris about his grades, he pauses, turns his head just a fraction toward alessia, and his smile twists into a smirk.

"they're okay" he says, "i did receive two achievers award for english last semester. and chemistry. and economics. and physics."

the moms gushed at him in sync. "that's incredible!" "your so smart" "both handsome and intelligent, your parents really raised you well"

alessia could feel her own blood boiling inside her, the steam scorching her throat. to the rest of the world, he might be an angel, a perfect student with a pretty face. but she knew what he really is, what he's like.

"we should get the tour going" she said clenching her teeth behind her wide smile. "there's lots for us to see"

"since there is four of you.. i can take you two around.." alessia gestured towards the moms standing closest to her, neither of them looked even a slight bit happy with the arrangement, one of them even audibly sighed of disappointment. "..and chris can show the others around"

the remaining two moms quickly stepped behind chris as he pushed open the gates into the school. "gladly" he says "follow me."

in the back of her mind, the numbers flashed like a warning sign:
