She was lying on the carpet in her room and Leo, her ferret, was lying on top of her while she pet him.

"Because I don't want to wake up Leo, of course. Look at my little baby, he's sleeping and he's so cute." Arianna said, moving her phone so that Wilbur could see the sleeping ferret better. He let out a soft 'aww' that made Arianna's melt.

"Arianna?" He whispered, still looking at Leo. The girl hummed in answer, not breakfing the comfortable silence.

"We should give each other a nickname." At that, Arianna immediately looked at him. She loved nicknames, it made her feel special.

"Yes! You have any ideas?" She asked

"I could call you Ari? Or something like that if you like it."

She stayed silent for a few seconds, thinking about her options.

"I think...I think you should stick with darling, just add Ari so I know you're talking to me." She replied, the small smile on her face was enough to make Wilbur say yes without even thinking.

"Then you should stick with pretty boy." Wilbur declared and Arianna nodded, looking at him. "Should I had Wil or Wilbur? So you know I'm talking to you?" She asked.

Wilbur smiled softly, "Nah, you're the only one I let call me pretty boy." He said with confidence, and that was enough to make her blush.

Was it normal to feel this way around your friends? Because Arianna wasn't sure she still thought of Wilbur has a friend. For her he was so much more.

And she had just started to realize it.
