' are you awake? '

ARIANNA didn't really know what to do, she was tired but still couldn't sleep and she felt as if her mind was somewhere else.  

It was frustrating, and it didn't help the fact that all she could think about was a British boy she had just started talking to almost one week ago.

He had been on her mind since his stream, and the two had started to talk more often, trying to get to know each other.

So, making up her mind, Arianna took her phone from her bedside table and turned it on, immediately going to Wilbur's discord ( that he had given her the day prior so they could stop talking on Instagram ).

She quickly typed what she wanted to ask before sending the message and waited for Wilbur to see it.

She smiled almost immediately as 'Wilbur's typing…' appeared on screen and chuckled at his answer.

"HI!" Arianna mumbled to him as she put her phone on speaker so that she wouldn't have to hold it.

"Hello!" Wilbur's reply was far more excited and vivid than hers, she could practically feel the smile on his face.

"hi!" She repeated, her own smile on her face as they started to say 'hi's and 'hello's back and forth just to pass the time.

"So, is there a reason why you're still awake at… 3:45am?" Wilbur asked, his tone still light as a feather, that made her feel slightly better as if her own problems went out of her mind.

"Not really, I'm tired but not enough to fall asleep. You know what I mean?"  To that he had only hummed as an affirmative answer.

"Do you want to play Minecraft? We can create our own world so we can play here whenever we want or when we're bored." Wilbur sounded nervous, but Arianna still felt like she could melt and, after realising he was still waiting for her answer, she quickly responded with a 'yes' and got out of her bed, slightly shivering as the cold hit her bare legs.

"Perfect! I'm creating the world right now, you start to turn on your PC and log in on Minecraft and discord so I can send you the IP." It took a bit of time for her to process everything he had just said to her, but she still did as he said.

After she left the call on her phone and joined her PC, she laughed as Wilbur joked about having been betrayed by her as she didn't warn him that she would leave the call.

"Ok, I sent you the IP. You know what to do right?" Wilbur seemed to be speaking more softly now, as he probably realised that she was still pretty tired.

"Uh...yeah, I think I can do it. I mean, I'm not that incompetent!" She joked, laughing as Wilbur snorted. "Bet you'll make me share my screen so that I can show you how to do it." He spoke with confidence, and Arianna had to bite her own lip to stop herself from denying it since she realized she really didn't know what to do.

They fell in a comfortable silence, Wilbur still thinking she was about to join but was teasing him by making him wait more than necessary.

"Will?" Arianna spoke softly, her voice slightly muffled since she covered her face with her hands. He bit back a laugh, but she could easily pick the taunting manner he answered her.

"Yes Arianna the beloved? What is it? Do your shoes need shining? Hello, Arianna-" 

"Can you please just share your screen with me so I can see how I have to do this shit?" She cut him off, suppressing a chuckle as Wilbur laughed loudly.

"I was right! This just proves that I'm always right and you should always listen to me. I'm very wise." He said, moving gradually closer to his mic, making her laugh.

"Just do it bitch boy." She teased, quickly putting her hair on a ponytail and taking her headphones to wear them.

"Everything for Arianna the beloved!" He joked, but still shared his screen in discord and, after five minutes, Arianna managed to log inside the world.

Wilbur immediately punched her character and pressed shift repeatedly, making his character crunch.

She punched him back before gasping, a smile on her face. "Oh Will we gotta name this world something cool!" She proposed and the boy didn't hesitate to agree with her.

"Yeah, sure! What should we name it?" He asked, and the two stayed silent as they thought about possible names. 

"I have an idea." Wilbur said, tapping his desk repeatedly. 

"Shoot." 

"Pow!" Wilbur said, trying to stop his laughter as Arianna groaned at his joke.

"That was so not funny. Your jokes are getting boring, old man." She teased. 

He gasped dramatically, and moved closer to the microphone. "How dare you say this to me?! The audacity!" He teased back as the two started to laugh.

It had become a common thing for them to joke around with each other while on call, and they soon found out they had similar humour. 

"As I was saying before, let's ask twitter to give us a name." He proposed, already on his twitter profile, to start writing the tweet.

"Yes, maybe your fans will have more fantasy than us." She joked and smiled as Wilbur snorted, still writing the tweet. "They'll probably tell us to name it Cock&Balls or some shit like that."

Arianna laughed and was soon joined by Wilbur's own laugh, and a minute later, he announced that he posted the tweet.
