AT THE SIGHT OF THE LOCKERS ALIGNED with one another, the lab rats were totally freaking out. their laughter danced through the hallways as they walked through the double doors of the building. with their eyes wide, they walked as though the floor would crack from underneath them and send them into an abyss.  Adam chuckled as he rubbed his palms along the wall. as they walked further into the building chase laid his eyes on two girls, walking rather close to them before giggling and wiggling his fingers. he shoved his knuckles into his mouth, attempting to bite back his excitement. The girls glared at him up and down, though, he couldn't care less. he was at school!

ziggy kept her eyes on chase, making sure he was in check. she watched as he halted in place, excitedly waving at a lunch lady as she strode by.

Leo stood next to Bree, watching as her face flushed with enthusiasm, "I can't believe we're actually at school. I am so excited! Oh, my first lunch lady." Catching sight of the woman walking by, she was quick to grab her and squeeze her in a tight hug. the lady's eyes went wide, lightly pushing the teen girl off of her. Leo wrapped his arm around her waist and pried her away.

"She smelled like fish sticks." Bree nodded her head.

"Yeah. Do me a favor and try to act like you've seen the world." Leo stared at Bree with wide eyes and a passive aggressive grin, "I have a reputation to uphold here."

Just as he said that, a football player came up behind him, reaching in his pants before giving him a killer wedgie. the boy cried out in pain, his lips pulling a grimace as the boy highfived his friend.

"Agh! Good to see you too, Steve." Leo greeted with the nod of his head, blinking away his tears.

Two girls spoke to each other as they strolled by, both engrossed in their conversation before Bree interrupted. Shoving her hand in their face, she grinned widely, "Hi! I'm Bree. I like pony's and girl things." Ziggy, having seen the way that she scared the girls off, made her way over, turning the speedy girl away from the females.

"Did you see that? I have besties! I can't wait to stab them in the back." Bree seethed as she balled up her fist, her eyes glistening with excitement. Ziggy shook her head, a frown on her face.

"That's the last thing you wanna do to a best friend." She explained. Hearing footsteps approach, they turned to see Adam and chase, the younger one with a disapproving expression across his face.

"Would you two quit goofing off? We're supposed to not draw attention to ourselves." He scolded, his eyebrows pinching together as he looked between his siblings. just as the words left his mouth, the school bell rang, and his eyes went wide before he clamped his hands over his ears. a scream ripped from his throat as he sank to the floor.

once the bell stopped ringing, he stopped screaming, sitting up in-between Ziggy and Adam's legs, his shoulders rose and fell as he tiredly huffed.

"What's up with crazy?" Leo questioned.

"He has ultra-sensitive bionic hearing." Bree sighed, an amused expression dancing across her face.

"What was that?" Chase asked from his spot ton the floor.

"It's called a bell." Leo deadpanned, staring down at the boy. the other students had begun to disperse, quickly rushing off to their first class of the day, "it rings every forty minutes. eight times a day. so. . . have fun with that." Leo flashed a tight grin before walking away, Bree and Adam following in his footsteps. Chase remained on the floor, and Ziggy glanced down at him before extending her hand towards him, watching as he placed his in hers. she helped him to his feet, her free hand falling on his back as she led him to their first period.

"Come on,"

the sound of sneakers squeaking against the wood polished floors were loud, and ziggy could smell the sweat that wafted off of the students. the Dooley's and the bionic teenagers sat on the bench, watching as their peers repeatedly shot a basketball into the hoop. Leo stood with a glare, watching as the other students moved about the gym.

"I hate gym class." Leo spat with venom.

Adam pinched his thick eyebrows together, glancing at the shorter boy with confusion, "Why?"

As if on cue, a basketball was thrown into Leo's direction, and he caught it in his grasp before panicking. tossing the ball in the air, he bounced it momentarily, before it was accidentally slammed on his toes.

"Agh!" He limped back over to the benches, his facial expressions flat as he watched Adam and chase stare at him with amusement, "Thats why."

Chase shook his head, shrugging his shoulders, "so big deal, you can't play basketball. Chess club's where all the actions at." with an aggressive head nod, he stared at his siblings for approval.

Ziggy pursed her lips before turning around and staring up at him,"No, it's not."

A ball was thrown in Bree's direction, and she was quick to catch it before turning to Leo and Ziggy, her eyes wide, "What do I do?" she asked. Ziggy watched as the girl danced back and forth on her feet.

"Throw it." the auburn haired girl said. when she did, it flew across the gym, smacking an innocent bystander in the face. he flew on his back, his legs up in the air as he groaned at the impact.

"To someone who's looking." Leo finished for her. Chase and Adam cackled loudly at the girl as she rushed over to him, staring at his body that was sprawled out on the floor. she grinned widely, her eyebrows rose high.

"Wow! You caught that with your face,"

the others got up off of the bench, and Bree made her way back over. Leo now had a basketball in his hands as he frowned, "Just once, I'd like to show these fools up and go all NBA in their faces." He scowled, his lips tugging into a frown. Chase shrugged at his words, pursing his lips.

"Then, why don't you?"

Leo looked at him with a blank stare, "Look at me! There's more meat on a dog bone." Chase seemed to think that his words were humorous. Adam stepped forward.

"Yeah, but, now you have us to help you." His voice fell into a whisper as he led Leo a few steps away. Then, he abruptly bent him over, giving him his second wedgie of the day before turning him towards the basketball hoop.

"What? No! These are my good drawers!" He exclaimed, his voice carrying through the gym as Adam launched him into the air. students watched as he flew by, their jaws dropped In shock. Leo dunked the ball in the hoop, gripping on before his sweaty palms caused him to slip. he landed on his back, a grunt falling from his lips as he allowed his eyes to shut.

"Is he okay?" Ziggy questioned Adam, to which he shrugged.

Leo eventually got up, seeing everyone staring at him in surprise before they collectively began to cheer for him. the boy grinned, pumping his fist in the air.

"Yeah, I got mad skill. yeah!"

"Attention, students. the pep rally is starting. Go Dingos!" the voice of principle Perry echoed on the overhead, and Ziggy could hardly hear anything over the shouts of the cheerleaders that chanted in the middle of the gym. Next to her stood Leo, a sharpie and a basketball in his hand as a blonde girl awaited his signature.

"Here ya go, baby." he smirked, returning her ball. The girl placed the back of her hand on her forehead, heavily sighing as she fangirl'd over him before skipping away. ever since gym class, people had been talking about how he had dunked the ball, and Ziggy had guessed that it had gotten him some sort of hallway credit. with her arms crossed over her chest, the auburn haired girl huffed.

"This is ridiculous."

Leo tilted his head, "Don't worry. There's enough of me to go around," He grinned teasingly, chuckling at the way her green eyes rolled themselves in irritation. Adam and Bree entered the gym, catching their attention.

"You guys rock! ever since gym class, everyone wants to be my friend. And, there's been a certain gentleness to my wedgies." He smirked as he leaned closer, Bree smiled at his attitude.

"It's the least we could do! You and Zadie gave us our first taste of freedom!" She exclaimed, Adam leaned down, pulling something out of his pocket.

"Uh, yeah. And our first taste of Salisbury steak. uh, Yum." he nodded before biting into it and shuffling away. Chase entered the gym, and ziggy give Bree a small grin as she lifted her shoulders.

"You can call me Ziggy, by the way." Bree beamed even wider, if that was possible, pulling the girl in for a tight hug, catching her by surprise yet again. This time, Ziggy fully wrapped her arms around her, squeezing the girl back with almost just as much force before releasing.

"Where were you?" Leo asked Chase, watching as he strode in, his arms swinging by his side whilst he bobbed his head.

"In the computer lab," He put his hand on his hip, "Guess who just became a chiropractor In the Philippines." He grinned.

"Aw, look." Adam said, Ziggy spotted the school mascot standing behind him, running its furry hands through his hair and all over his shoulders, "The doggy likes me. Okay, doggy thats enough. Hey, I said thats enough!" He snapped. walking away, Ziggy, Leo and chase followed suit. from her peripheral, she could see Kavin approaching Bree, his nose was red and throbbing. Ziggy shook her head and kept walking.

Her eyes grew wide as the mascot wrapped its arms around Adams abdomen and began dragging him out of the gym, "Hey, I'm warning you, dog, you're messing with the wrong guy!" he exclaimed, his tone lowering as his patience grew thin.

Moments later, Adam returned, he was clearly fighting back, yelling as the dog gripped onto his leg.

"Should we help him?" Ziggy questioned, her lips tugging into a frown as she stared at chase. He seemed to find amusement in the whole situation. he shook his head, waving it off with a chuckle.

thats when Leo leaned into his ear, "Why are Adams eyes turning red?

Chase stiffened, his gaze snapping to stare at Adam, who had now squared his shoulders at the mascot who was provoking him to charge, "Oh, no! His heat vision."

Leo's eyes went wide, "His what?"

"It's a glitch! Whenever he gets too upset, his heat vision acts up!" Chase was now freaking out, watching Adam intently. Ziggy inhaled sharply, pushing her tongue against the inside of her cheek, she knew this was a bad idea.

"Okay. Let's just get him away from dewey." She began, to which they nodded. Before anyone could move, red beams shot from Adams eyes, and the helmet of the mascot caught on fire. Adam stood with his hands on his hips, a satisfied smile in his face. a football player nearby was quick to grab the fire extinguisher and put out the fire. Dewey stumbled near the cheerleaders, just as they were getting ready to toss up a flyer.

They hoisted the girl up and into the air, and everyone dispersed as they saw the smoke emitting from the mascots head. Bree, hearing the shouts of the cheerleaders, was quick to use her super speed to rush over, sticking her arms out, "I got her, I got her!"

The girl landed on the floor with a loud thud, Bree staring down at her body that was sprawled on the ground, "Oh, oops! Overshot it." She grimaced, " Oh, but don't worry, I know a chiropractor in the Philippines."

The girl groaned as Bree leapt over her body.

"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Ziggy mumbled.

she flinched as the fire alarms began to ring, and everyone was prepared to run before chase held his arms out, preventing them from doing so, "People. People. Statistics show that if we don't panic, at least seventy percent of us will make it out alive." His voice grew happy toward the end, causing them to look at him incredulously. the peace only lasted for a moment, before they began to scream, shoving and pushing each other to escape the building. Chase was unfortunately caught in-between the crowd, ultimately getting shoved on the bleachers.

the gym cleared out quickly, the few students that were left ended up scattering. Ziggy frowned as she caught sight of Tasha and Donald. Leo, and the bionic teens stood beside her, and she could see mr. davenports face flush red as he stared at them. they all sheepishly waved.

"So, how was school?"

Adam gave a thumbs up at the question, and he received a few head nods. Donald then lost his patience, shouting at the teenagers, causing them to flinch.

"Get in the helicopter!"

They were quick to scramble out of the door, and Ziggy couldn't help but think of what the punishment was going to be when they returned back home.
