━━━ MEILANI HAS FELT ANGER PLENTY OF TIMES IN HER LIFE ESPECIALLY IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. She felt the bubbling anger when Gerard came around and tried to strike her down just because she was a werewolf and didn't give her a chance to show him she wasn't like the other werewolves. She felt it when Deucalion strolled into town and tried to recruit her as one of his own, his whole pack causing her and the pack to go through so much death that they still weighed heavily on her shoulders. She felt it when the dead pool came and Meilani had to defend her whole pack from the ruthless assassins that roamed about.

Here she was again feeling that same fiery pit of anger as she stared at Theo. The same blue eyed chimera that had nearly broken up her pack. The same blue eyed chimera that tricked Liam into nearly killing her off with no remorse. He had been the cause of nearly all the chimeras that had been forced into what they were because he made them think it was the way to save themselves.

It was so bad to the point that Meilani was actually surprised Malia had been able to fly past her and tackle Theo to the ground. Her clenched fist pummeled into the chimera's face, the boy not even moving to defend himself. Theo took every punch and had even kept telling Malia that it was okay. That she didn't have to stop, as if the werecoyote would stop even if he had asked her to in the first place.

However, regardless of that bubbling anger, Meilani still stepped forward and gripped onto Malia's wrist when she flicked out her claws and went to plunge them into Theo's chest. "Malia, that's enough! Slow down, okay? He's gonna go back in the ground where he belongs."

"What?! No!" Liam cried, watching as Meilani and Isaac both hauled Malia off Theo and placed her at a distance from him so she could attempt to calm down. This only earned him a stern and very disappointed glare from Meilani who tried to rub Malia's back comfortingly. "You can't! Theo remembers Stiles, okay?"

Malia growled darkly once again, but Liam didn't flinch away or back down from him his sentiment. He truly believed that going to Theo of all people was a good thing. "Meilani remembers Stiles. Lydia, Isaac, Scott and I remember Stiles!"

"The Dread Doctors knew all about the Wild Hunt. He can help us," Liam carried on as if Malia didn't talk, his blue eyes filling with a pleading type of look that probably normally would have gotten Meilani to soften down. However, Meilani couldn't find it in herself to go soft for Theo. Who knew if this wasn't just another one of Theo's many tricks?

"Or he could kill us, Liam! Unless you forgot, the last time he was around — I almost died," Meilani snapped, frustrated with her beta for being so reckless.

"He's my responsibility. Noshiko gave me the sword," Liam said, holding up the pieced together sword that Kira had used at one time.

Theo groaned and propped himself up against the McCall fridge, arm wrapping his front as his breathing labored slightly from the pain and fight. "It's always so awkward when Mom and Son fight."

"Shut up!"

"You both are right," Hayden chimed in, stepping around the kitchen island to step into the small circle that the pack had made. Meilani almost didn't even notice she was in the room until right then. "If Theo tries anything, we'll send him back to the Skinwalkers. For right now . . . "

Meilani jerked her finger in Theo's direction, jaw clenched so tightly that Meilani was surprised her teeth had shattered yet. "Theo is going back now."

"Aw, come on, McCall. I know you missed having me around," Theo mused, smiling a bloody smile up at her as the blood around his mouth also stained his teeth.

"You, shut up before I have Scott get wolfsbane and shove it down your throat," Meilani threatened Theo darkly, red eyes flashing dangerously before they drifted over to Liam. "And you, come with me."

Liam yelped quietly when Meilani's hand gripped to his earlobe and tugged him roughly into the living room, away from everyone else so she could quietly yell at him. He tripped slightly over his own feet as Meilani finally let go of his ear once in the living room and he whirred around to face her, rubbing the sore spot on his ear. "What, you don't trust me?"

Meilani rolled her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest, narrowing her eyes at her beta. "I don't trust him, Liam. God, do you actually think we can trust him after all the shit he pulled just months ago?"

"Well, no but I think we can use him, Lan."

"Remember who he is! He got into your head and you tried to kill me. When that didn't work, he did kill me. Not to mention he also killed Tracy, Josh and his sister also," Meilani reminded Liam sternly, shaking her head with a small scoff. "I'm sorry, Liam, but this will not work out."

Liam stepped closer to Meilani, hand wrapping tighter around the sword in his hand as he stared at her in desperation. "But this might be the only chance we have left to get Stiles back. I know you love you, Lan, and I know you miss him. Theo can be our way to finally have Stiles come back."

"Can't we just try to find somebody that we at least trust?" Meilani quipped, not understanding why Liam was so hell bent on trying to recruit Theo's help. Sure, he remembered Stiles — probably because he'd been in the ground for so long and was unaffected by the Wild Hunt's powers — and knew about the Wild Hunt. However, Meilani still couldn't trust that Theo was telling them the whole truth. There had to be something he was leaving out much like he had the last time he was in Beacon Hills.

"This might be a mistake," Liam agreed quietly, but Meilani knew he wasn't done. "But we don't know that yet. You made mistakes when you were learning to be an alpha."

"Yes, I've made a lot of them, Liam. But we can't afford any mistakes right now. I can't lose Stiles," Meilani said quietly, feeling the necklace burn against her skin again and she absentmindedly reached up to touch the crescent moon shaped piece of jewelry. "Not when he's so close to coming back to me."

"So we should try anything we can to save him. Even if it means trusting Theo."

Meilani exhaled heavily as her eyes bounced between Liam's, searching for any sort of hesitation he might have about this whole plan. Liam seemed so sure that this plan could work, that Theo could actually help them get Stiles back in no time. Which Liam did have a point in that they should try everything they can to bring Stiles back home safely.

Even if that meant possibly trusting someone Meilani never would have thought to trust in the first place.

"I can put you back in the ground anytime," Liam reminded Theo, holding up the sword in his hand as the pack now stood in the kitchen again.

"You'll also need a transformer that can handle five billion joules of electricity. I know where to find one and I can show you how it works. I'll tell you if Malia promises not to kill me," Theo offered, his eyes flickering from Liam and over to Malia who merely growled at him in response.

Liam licked his lips and glanced over his shoulder before focusing back on Theo with a small nod. "She promises."

"No, I don't!" Malia argued and turned to Meilani with wide, surprised eyes. "Mei, are we seriously gonna do this? Trust him?"

"You got a better idea?" Hayden remarked, crossing her arms and raising her eyebrows as if waiting for Malia to actually answer her question.

Malia shrugged and dragged her eyes back over to Theo again with a disgruntled and disgusted look on her face. "It may not be better, but at least it's not Theo."

Malia's brilliant plan was to go straight to Peter Hale and try to get some answers out of him. Though, Meilani didn't really trust Peter much more than she did Theo and, since the only solid plan available was Theo, Meilani had reluctantly agreed to go with the Theo plan. For now.

The next day, Theo had told the pack where they could find the transformer that could help them when it came to the Wild Hunt. It was in some abandoned little shack in the middle of the Beacon Hills Preserve, which Meilani had gone off to early with Mason, Corey and Isaac while Liam and Hayden dragged Theo on their own from Liam's house. The place was filled with growing vines and dust, a massive gated cage in the middle of the room with a tall cylinder looking machine next to it and a metal plate next to that.

When Theo had arrived with Liam and Hayden, he switched the transformer on for them and explained that the electricity from the transformer should help them with joules they were in need of. Mason had even come up with a way to trap the Ghost Rider since the cage in the space was able to keep out the lightning, something that the Ghost Rider would need to get out and escape in the first place. Meilani and Liam would just have to trap the Ghost Rider when he stepped into the cage.

The plan actually was pretty solid and, shockingly, would up working a lot better than Meilani thought it would. Her side of the cage was the hardest to close as it kept getting jammed and the Ghost Rider nearly got out, but Meilani had summoned all of her true alpha strength to slam the other door closed and keep the Ghost Rider trapped inside without his gun. She'd slyly slipped it from the Ghost Rider's holster the second she tried to shut the cage door on him and trap him inside.

No matter how much lightning the Ghost Rider tried to summon, it couldn't penetrate through the cage and it kept him trapped there. Though, it seemed that the pack now had no idea what to do with the Ghost Rider as it stood inside of the cage and they stood on either side of it, staring at it with nothing else in mind.

"Well, now what do we do?" Theo scoffed from in between Meilani and Isaac, furrowing his eyebrows at his eyes scanned over the Ghost Rider.

"Try and talk to him," Meilani suggested, not seeing what else they really could do at the moment. She took a deep breath and stepped forward, leveling her eyes with the masked face of the Ghost Rider. "We'll let you out if you tell us how to get our friends back. Everyone. We want everyone back. We need to know how to get em all back."

Isaac huffed when the Ghost Rider didn't even so much as move. He wasn't even sure they could even actually speak as they didn't really have much of a mouth. Unless there was one beneath the ratty mask they wore, but Isaac wasn't about to reach out and snatch the mask away to find out. "This is some plan we got going here. Maybe we should have stuck with Malia on the whole Peter thing."

"No! Look, we got him trapped, right? He can't get out. We just have to figure out how to communicate with him," Meilani spoke up, holding her hand up for everyone to be quiet for a minute so she could think properly. "Like . . . maybe he can't hear us. Or could speak an ancient language. Or only responds to pain or fear."

"Are you kidding me, McCall?" Theo laughed incredulously and stepped up next to her, pointing his finger at the Ghost Rider as his eyes bounced between Meilani and the Ghost Rider. "Nothing is gonna scare this thing. I mean . . . look at him. He's a walking corpse."

Liam shook his head and he appeared deep in thought as his eyes trailed around the cage, the thunder and lightning outside still crashing. "Something's wrong, guys. Why did he stop trying to get out?"

Before anyone in the room could offer any opinions, the Ghost Rider let out a loud howl. Almost like it was shouting something that the pack couldn't understand since there were no words or language to it.

"Did — did he just call for back up?" Theo questioned, eyes snapping over to the Ghost Rider warily as he took a step back from the cage.

"When Corey made the Ghost Rider visible at the party, another one showed up," Liam informed his alpha, chewing the inside of his lip worriedly.

"Okay . . . " Meilani whispered, letting out a shaky breath as she bounced on her feet for a moment to try and shake out all the anxiety and nerves she felt coursing through her body like molten lava. "We just have to figure out how to talk to him. Or else get the hell out of here."

After calling up Mason — who had walked out with Corey to watch out for any other Ghost Riders — the pack learned that they'd need Parrish to help them out. He was the only one that could speak to the Ghost Riders and if they wanted any information, they'd need him to be there to try and translate and talk. It was a long shot, but Meilani was willing to take the chance since they were already so far into this plan anyway. There was no going back now that they had the Ghost Rider in their trap.

Parrish only took about ten minutes to appear at the doorway to the small shack, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. His eyes drifted from Meilani, Liam, Isaac and Theo and over to the Ghost Rider that still stood in the middle of the cage. He slowly walked closer to the cage as he furrowed his eyebrows, analyzing the currently dormant Ghost Rider thanks to the metal thing it stood inside. The Ghost Rider had even tilted his head at the sight of Parrish wish the four hoped was a good sign.

"Ask him how we get everyone back," Liam suggested to Parrish after a long silence hovered around the room.

"Tell us how we get everyone back," Parrish demanded, squaring his shoulders as he fixed a stern gaze on the thing. He tilted his head in slight confusion when the Ghost Rider replied back in yet another howl, which Meilani now wanted to assume was just its language if Parrish was able to understand the howls. "He said " hellhound "."

"Is that a good thing?" Theo asked, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his denim jacket.

"Ask him again," Meilani prodded on next.

Parrish nodded and focused back on the Ghost Rider again after glancing to the four behind him. "What do you want from us?"

"We are the Wild Hunt. We hunt forever. Those who hunt with us, hunt forever."

Meilani gulped quietly as a chill ran down her spine at the echoey voice that came from the Ghost Rider. She hadn't expected the thing to speak outright to them the way he'd done since all he'd been done is was howls. Her heart hammered away in her chest and she could feel Isaac press a hand to her lower back to remind her to keep calm. "Um . . . what — what does that mean exactly?"

"What do you want from us?" Parrish demanded again as the line didn't offer anyone a hint to what they could do to get Stiles back.

"We are the Wild Hunt. Those who hunt with us hunt forever."

Isaac snorted sarcastically and rolled his eyes in slight annoyance. "Yeah, because that really clarified everything. Thanks."

Meilani elbowed him in the side to shut up and took a step closer to the cage, determination and desperation both pooling in her chest. She just wanted to know how to get Stiles back and this Rider wasn't helping her whatsoever. "What do we have to do to get everyone back? Do you want something from us?"

Liam gripped onto Meilani's leather jacket sleeve from behind when he noticed that the Rider just stared directly at Meilani. "Why — why is he staring at Meilani?"

"He figured out that Meilani's the alpha," Theo realized, eyes bouncing between the Ghost Rider and Meilani who leveled their stares with each other.

"There must be something you want," Meilani practically pleaded with the Ghost Rider, her heart thumping rapidly in her chest. "Anything."

"There is only the Hunt. No one resists. No one escapes."

Meilani let out a sound of annoyance and glanced over her shoulder to the trio who were now behind her and shrugged. "If they can't be bargained with, we're gonna have to fight 'em somehow." Her attention then diverted back to the Ghost Rider and she confidently walked up to the cage it was trapped in, red eyes flashing threateningly. "I'm comin' for my friends. I'm coming for everyone. I won't stop. I will never stop until we get everyone back again."

The Ghost Rider stared at Meilani for a long moment before he turned to Parrish, the same whispering howl coming once again. Only Parrish could understand him now and the others couldn't figure out what was said. Which only sent them into worry more when Parrish suddenly melted away his clothes and his body erupted into the fiery blaze of a Hellhound, stepping closer to the cage the Ghost Rider still resided inside.

"What's going on?" Liam gasped, watching in horror as Parrish continued to move closer and closer to the Ghost Rider.

"I think Parrish is gonna set him free," Meilani cursed to herself and rushed forward with Isaac, the two pushing on Parrish's shoulders to keep him from getting too close to the Ghost Rider. They couldn't lose the thing, not when they were getting closer to what they needed. "Hey, hey, Parrish! Stop!"

Parrish's skin sizzled and Isaac hissed as his palm burned from it, hand quickly retracting away and shaking it out to try and rid the burn. The same burning sensation erupted behind Meilani's palm thanks to the bond between her and Isaac and she tried desperately to fight off the instinct to retract her own hand. Isaac was flung away by a growling Parrish and Meilani grunted as she had to push harder against Parrish's shoulder, both hands moving down to his chest to give her better leverage with pushing him backwards.

Liam ran forward and pushed his hands against Parrish's chest next to Meilani's, sneakers sliding as Parrish pushed hard against the two pairs of hands to try and get to the Ghost Rider. He grunted when his hands nearly slipped and he had to fix them once again. "Yeah, we need to do something, Lan!"

With a nod to Liam to help, Meilani counted to three and the two used all the strength they had to all but push Parrish out of the shack and outside to the woods. They dropped him after a moment when Parrish's skin flared with fire once again, the two falling on either side of him as they panted slightly. Meilani shook out her hand as it burned slightly as she hissed as the skin on her palm slowly began to heal itself over again.

Parrish shakily pushed himself to his feet, the cracks in his skin still flickering like molten lava flowing through the inside of a volcano. It lit up Meilani and Liam's eyes as they slowly raised their heads to look up at Parrish who stood above them. "Don't follow me."

Meilani frowned as she watched Parrish disappear into the woods and she sighed, pushing herself to her feet and helped Liam back to his own feet. Not being able to follow Parrish, Meilani pulled Liam back in the direction of the shack where Mason and Hayden had trudged back as well and they hovered in the doorway. Furrowing her eyebrows, Meilani pushed her way through and froze in the middle of the shack when she saw what the trio had been staring at.

There in the middle of the now opened cage with the mountain ash line broken, was a now dead Ghost Rider. It laid with its back to the pack, a massive and gaping hole in the back of his head was on full display. Almost like someone had come and taken a massive chomp out of its skull and left behind the brain and blood. Theo was on the other side of the cage where the transformer was, holding his stomach in pain as he coughed weakly. Isaac didn't look much better as he propped himself up on an elbow and wiped at his bloodied mouth.

"What did you do?!" Hayden snapped, storming over to the chimera and hauling up from the floor and pushing him up against the transformer with dark eyes.

"It — it was Mr. Douglas," Theo said, voice shaking slightly and his mouth was covered in blood as if he'd been in some sort of fight. "He ate his brain. Isaac was my witness, he can vouch for me."

Isaac looked up at Meilani and nodded weakly, spitting out some excess blood that had been his mouth. "Theo's not lying, I saw it, too. Mr. Douglas just came here and turned into this werewolf type thing and just . . . chomped on the Rider's head like it was some juicy steak. Ate his brain in one go."

Meilani walked closer to the Ghost Rider and crouched down, tilting its head so she could a better look at it in the light and scrunched up her nose. "No, it wasn't his brain. Mr. Douglas ate his pineal gland."

"Guys . . . his whip's gone, too," Liam pointed out, gesturing to the now empty holster where the whip used to sit. His eyes glanced around the room and he froze, taking a count of everyone in the room.

"Li, what is it?"

"Where's Corey?"
