SUMMARY !

Bruce Banner and Adeline Grey knew each other since they were kids. They grew up as neighbors and every once in a while they would see each other at the occasional barbeque. When high school started, Adeline became the popular girl that everyone loved while Bruce was the kid that everyone ignored and cast aside. It wasn't until Adeline looked at him for help, she failing her science classes and wanted to prove she was more than a pretty face.

As Bruce helped her study and Adeline defended herself by hanging around him, they grew close. Adeline then learns about his life at home, how his father would abuse them when he would come home. Yet Bruce wasn't the only one with trouble at home, back home, Adeline's parents would constantly yell and scream at each other. Her father had hit her mother on multiple occasions. The two tried helping each other through until Bruce moved away to another city. They never saw each other again until Bruce came into Adeline's ER.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION !

• First and foremost, you will not romanticize their abuse and mental health issues. They do not cure each other, they try helping each other but they don't cure it. They struggle through their mental health and with their past and that STAYS with them. It WILL NOT go away.

• Adeline becomes a doctor and works in the ER, where she'll meet Bruce again. She doesn't know he's the Hulk until later in the story. They haven't had contact with each other since they were 17.

• Adeline was previously married but her husband died and her sister died as well which gives her depression because she feels it's her fault.

• Their relationship should be SLOW BURN. As I said, they are both struggling and haven't seen each other in years. They should build their relationship slowly.

• She could have involvement with the Avengers but that is up to you.
