Moving In

JASPER HAS BEEN DEBATING WITH HIMSELF on whether or not he should ask his mate to move in with him. They have been together for a month now.

Although they don't leave each other's side, he just wants to make sure that she's safe, especially with the situation with Victoria, but he knows that she is more than capable of protecting and taking care of herself. He just wanted to make sure.

He has been leaning in the railings for a while now, his hand on his chin while his eyes roam at the forest, thinking about how he can approach his mate and ask to move in with him.

"Jasper, just ask her already, your thoughts are giving me a headache, and vampires can't even have headaches. She'll agree. Don't overthink it," Edward suddenly bursts out of his thoughts and enters his room, his hands in his pockets. Jasper smirks at him.

"She's the only one who can make me overthink these kinds of things. My decisions are always made, but with her, it makes me second guess myself," Jasper sighs and looks back at the forest.

"You just want everything to go well. I can't blame you. You haven't been in a relationship for what? A century?" Edward says to him while patting his shoulder. "-go ask her,"

Without a second thought, Jasper rushes to the twin's home. To his surprise, Alice was in Greyson's room, asking him if he could move in with them. She must have seen it.

Jasper asks where Genevieve is, and they say she is walking in the woods, so Jasper inhales to find her scent and darts toward the woods. He finds her sitting on a tree log with her eyes closed.

"You know you can sit with me instead of standing there and staring at me," She says to him.

"I can't help it. I like how peaceful you look," He tells her while walking towards her and sitting on the log with her. "-I wanted to ask you something."

"And what is that you want to ask?" She looked at him with a smirk, and he took a deep breath. Not like that. He needed one. He was just nervous as hell.

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to move in with me, with us?" He asks while looking at her.

It was silent for a moment, he was beginning to worry and already expecting a "no" for an answer, but he suddenly heard a soft laugh.

"Took you long enough. I've been waiting for you to ask that since our first few weeks together," she says with a chuckle while lightly shaking her head.

"You did? Why didn't you mention anything?"

"Well, first of all, I wanted you to ask me first, not the other way around, and ask, 'Hey can I move in with you?' That's rude."

"You know that Carlisle and Esme already consider you as part of the family since Alice had a vision of you and your brother, right?"

"I know it's just hard to adjust, and we haven't really been part of a coven before. It has always been the two of us."

"What's your answer?"

"Didn't you take a hint in our conversation for the last 3 minutes that I already agreed"
She laughs.

"Just making sure, doll," he stood up and pulled her up and carried her, her legs wrapped around his waist as they spun around, their laughs echoing throughout the forest.

"Let's get ready to go to school," she says while placing a kiss on his lips.

THEY ARRIVED AT THE CAFETERIA. They hear Mike helping Jessica with her Valedictorian speech. Alice took Greyson's wrist and skipped toward the table with a group of teenagers. Genevieve and Jasper just followed the couple.

"So I decided to throw a party," Alice announces to them. The chatter died down, and the teenagers look at Alice, shocked.

"After all, how many times are we gonna graduate high school?" Greyson jokes with his signature smirk. The vampire part of the table stifles a laugh.

"A party? At your place?"
Angela suddenly asks while looking at Alice with wide eyes.

"I've never seen your house."
Jessica states while looking at Cullens.

"No one's ever seen their house."
Eric whispers at her, but the five vampires hear him because of their enhanced hearing.

"Another party, Alice?" Edward scoffs while looking at his sister.

"It'll be fun," Alice looks at him and simply answers her brother.

"Yeah. That's what you said last time," Bella mutters while Jessica gives her a questioning look. Jasper was tense, and Genevieve gave Bella a shut-the-fuck-up look.

She knew what happened at their last party.

She smiles sweetly at Jasper and pecks his cheek, and gives his hand a squeeze.

"If Alice says it's going to be fun, then it is going to be fun, don't be such a debbie downer Isabella." Genevieve says while rolling her eyes. Alice gave her a thankful look while Bella stayed silent.

Alice freezes, her eyes suddenly glossed. She had a vision. Genevieve saw the shadows swirling around the cafeteria walls, and she looked around, making sure no one else saw them. They were whispering warnings.

She's coming.

Be aware.

Watch your back, Genevieve.

She's here for revenge.

She has been having an emotional week since she was stressing about the disappearance that has been happening in Seattle and the redhead that is after his now brother, so her emotions have been all over the place.

Jasper was always sending her calming waves every time he sensed her whirlwind of emotions.

"Stop it," she whispers. Jasper and Greyson looked at their mates with worry, and she was losing control of the shadows. She put her hands to her ears, covering them, and buried her head in the crook of Jasper's neck. While Jasper just holds her tightly. Everybody looks at the girl, concerned.

"She's been having headaches since this morning," Jasper tells the group. They nod and look at Alice, who is still dazed.

"Well, um, that's really, uh, normal of you. What time? Dress code? Bring anything? Cheetos?"
Mike asks Alice, but Alice doesn't answer. Bella looks at Edward, concerned, but Edward shrugs it off while Bella just tries to distract her friends.

"Alice, wake up," Edward holds Alice's shoulder.

"She hasn't been getting much sleep lately. Senior jitters," Greyson says to them.

"The shadows, they're warning me. Victoria is coming," she whispers so only the vampires at the table can hear. She looks at them with worry.

"I HEARD THAT THE BOTH OF YOU ARE MOVING IN, HOW EXCITING! OUR FAMILY IS FINALLY COMPLETE." Esme immediately greets the twins with a motherly hug.

"Alice already arranged your rooms. She already saw your decision," Carlisle says with a smile.

"We have rooms? I thought I'd be rooming with my sweetheart here," Greyson smirks while looking at her mate, wrapping an arm around Alice's waist.

"Sometimes we need our alone time, so we gave you both separate rooms. Both of you can decorate it later, and I have already arranged the papers for the house. The only thing you both need to do is pack," Alice tells the twins.

"Thank you for this," Genevieve says to them and gives them a grateful smile.

"Let's not stray away from why we had this family meeting, Alice had a vision, and Genevieve received a warning from the shadows that Victoria is coming to Forks," Edward announces to them.

"When is she coming?" Jasper asks his best friend while hugging Genevieve's side.

"This weekend," Alice simply said.

"We need to get Bella out of town," Greyson states to them.

"How about the plane tickets to Florida we gifted on her birthday?" Esme offers while looking at Edward with a motherly smile on her face.

"Maybe tell Bella that this is her last chance to see her mother before she becomes one of us? So she can't argue?" Genevieve suggests politely to Edward.

"That's a good idea. It might be better for Bella to go to Florida because when she stays here, Victoria might go after her," Jasper says to them with a stern nod.

"She'll be having lunch with
Charlie tomorrow. I'll suggest it in front of him so she doesn't have a choice in the matter" Edward agrees with her and says a quick goodbye.

"I'll inform Sam and his pack about Victoria's arrival this weekend," Carlisle says while pulling out his phone from his pocket and dialing Sam's number, and walking towards his office.

Alice looks at the twins and gives them a big bright smile and claps her hands, and pulls the two upstairs to show their new room, with Jasper following behind them.
