At ICAI Institute, New Delhi (Author's POV)

After so many ups and downs in the financial conditions this year, the institute decided to divide its management team into two...One for the overall statistical management and another special team for Financial Analysis. Huge round of applause echoed in the huge auditorium where the new head and team members were to be introduced.

"So, now it's the time for introducing the new team of management...Welcome Mrs. Nysa Gandhi as the new head of the ICAI Institute of India...And Ms. Aashika Singhania as the new and first head of Financial Analysis department..."

This announcement made everyone happy as The whole business world knew that both these ladies were exemplary at their respective tasks....But somewhere in the auditorium a different mix of emotion was rising, Mr. Manish Bhardwaj's eyes were glowing with anger and frustration as it was the first time someone has replaced him as the head of ICAI since the past 5 years and the whole of Bhardwaj family were stunned to see their daughter and daughter-in-law on stage...They never expected this to happen.

Nysa, "First of all, thanks to everyone...I'm honored to receive such a great position and I'll make sure that there should never be a crack on the glass of trust which you all have showed on me. Ms. Aashika and I will try our best to improve the conditions of our renowned institute. To start everything from scratch I wanna invite you all to a small freshers' party today in the evening with your families. I hope everything would go smooth and I look forward to a brighter future for all of us. Thank you"

Rohit was not actually shocked to see his ex on the stage. He knew she will definitely have a bright future but not with him. But it was a shock for him that his sister was introduced with the surname Gandhi and not Bhardwaj. Everyone in the family was clueless about it.

Everyone was busy for getting ready for the party. The families of reputed businessmen were also invited...and so, it definitely took around 3 or 4 hours for the Bhardwaj ladies to get ready.

Rohit went to the washroom and called his assistant Advait and said "Hey, any new updates?"

Advait answered, "No sir. Not for now. Everything is going on it's track..By the way, did you see Aashika ji on the stage? She is so successful now."

Rohit with a sigh "I couldn't even believe she was my lil sweetheart...Never mind Advait, I'm busy now we have to go to the freshers' party now."

Advait questioned him, "Sir, will you take Mita there?"

Rohit muttered, "No, I can't get her exposed to this world."

Advait suddenly shouted, "Okay, bye.....Aiiiiiiiiii...Sirrrr, ye kya hua, kaise hua, kab hua???" He almost shouted, Rohit could sense his eyes were out of his sockets by now.

(Okay, bye......Oh nooo, Sirrrr, What has this happened, how and whennn?)

Rohit questioned him, "Abey hua kya ye to bata??"

(At least tell me first what happened?)

Advait without taking a pause for even a second, "Sir, Aashika jii is going to come back to Mumbai after this event and she will settle here permanently after that."

Rohit tried to maintain his composure but couldn't, "What the hell,bro?? Why is she doing all this out of the blue??"

Advait throws a question whose answer was unknown to even Rohit, "Sir, what if she gets to know the truth.."

Rohit in a serious tone, "No, Advait, I will never let this happen...Never"

He disconnects the call. Stress was clearly visible on his face. He washed his face and moved out.

Mita was laying on the bed sleeping peacefully. Rohit whispered to himself "No jaana, I will never let anything bad happen to you..I won't allow anyone to touch you...I won't allow anyone's bad intentions to be successful"

At the party's venue, the lights were shimmering all around it, people started reaching there and especially the Bhardwaj's hoped to meet Mia with a warm gesture at least her mother hoped so.

Nysa, Aashika and Vinay (Nysa's husband and they had a son Kiaan, who was actually the biological son of Arjun Ranawat but Vinay had always been a father figure to him. Even after his birth he never saw his biological father) had to share one single room because the hotel managers didn't even know that there will be 2 heads of ICAI and so they alloted only one room for all of them.
Aashika was completely drowned in the ocean of her work, her gaze constantly fixed on her laptop.

Vinay whispered into Nysa's ears, "Is this lady dumb?"

Nysa, "Can't you shut your mouth for some time, please..."

Vinay, "She hasn't even spoken a single word since we've met."

Nysa, "Not everyone is like you, blabbering constantly. Shut up now!"

Nysa initiates the conversation between them.

Nysa, "Aashi, is your house completely ready in Mumbai?"

Aashika, "Yup."

She didn't want to continue the conversation.

Kiaan enters the room in all his glory, hoping to bring out the bubbly side of the cold Aashika Singhania. He says, "Masi, come na, meko swimmin' karni hai." He looks cute, blabbering in his childish language.
(Aunty, come on, let's go for swimming)

Aashika, "Not now, baby, I have an important meeting."

Kiaan, with his shiny eyes, "Please na, you are my pletty masi na."

Aashika, after being defeated by a 1-year-old, lets out a chuckle, "Okay, come baba."

Kiaan, "Yayyy!!"

Vinay whispers into Nysa's ears, "How can kids be so happy with such an angry bird!"

Nysa almost shouts, "How can you blabber so much, man!!"

Aashika and Kiaan stare at them, looking confused. The next second, they leave the room.

Vinay, with his childish expression, "No one pays attention to me!!"

Suddenly, Aashika re-enters the room.

Nysa, with a concerned look, "What happened?"

Aashika, "Will Mr. Kulkarni be there at the party?"

Nysa, "No... no... no, lady, you're not going to fight with him again!"

Aashika with a smirk, "That's his mistake not mine"

The Kulkarnis and Sehgals were the biggest enemies of Aashika..They ere not her rivals but used to create obstacles in her business deals. And due to this she insulted and warned them so many times. But those shameless snakes never minded their own business.

Aashika "If this Kulkarni is coming to the party tonight..Lemme show him my dark side again..Then at least he would get a lesson and won't disturb me for a few months. Okay, now lemme enjoy swimming with my Kiu"

After swimming, they headed towards the party's venue..

(Their look for the party)

When they reached there, they saw everyone has arrived and so they decided to start the party with a bottle of champagne..

Nysa "Hey everyone, May I have your attention please? Thank you so much for being a part of this party..So, this is for our new start" (She opens the bottle of champagne and the celebration begins) "And I want to introduce everyone, Mr. Vinay Gandhi, my husband and Kiaan Gandhi, my son"

Everyone's eyes were widened to hear her specially her mother and family. Siya and Rishika were about to shout but somehow controlled themselves.

Siya, "I will kill this man."

Rishika, "How can he even get married without telling us!?"

Nysa "I never announced it publicly because we tied our knot just before a week"

Kiaan was Nysa and her ex-husband Arjun's son...No one knew about him except Aashika and Vinay since they were very good friends. Though Aashika stopped talking with them much after her separation. Nysa knew that there was some reason behind Aashika's changed behaviour but she never asked her. Nysa has been raising Kiaan as a single mother, Aashika was an aunt figure for him and Vinay as a father figure. But destiny had some other plans, Vinay and Nysa fell in love...After dating each other for 6 months, they got married. Vinay's parents were aware of their marriage but couldn't be a part of it..Kiaan and Vinay always shared a sweet bond with each other. So, they were all comfortable with it.

Everyone was aware of Nysa's boldness so no one questioned about Kiaan as their son because he was already 1 year old.

Everyone was having champagne and Nysa, Aashika and Vinay were enjoying red wine since they were really particular about their diet and always avoided too much alcohol consumption. Just then, The Bhardwaj family arrived there.

Suhasini "Nysa, tu ne hume bataya bhi nhi ki tera ek beta bhi hai??"

(Nysa, you didn't even inform us that you have a son)

Nysa "Dadi..."

(Grandmother...)

Aparna "Just stop it Maa ji, No one should ask any more questions to my Nysa, when she told us about how her toxic husband used to beat her, we couldn't do anything, so now no one has the right to ask her anything." She hugged Mia.

Mia "Thanks maa.." She glared at Vinay to touch her mother's feet and ask for her blessings. Vinay bowed down but Aparna stopped her and said "No, not now, you have to come to our house first and Nysa stop throwing your deadly glares at my lovely son-in-law" Everyone lets out a chuckle. Ruhan and Ajay greeted their sister.

Siya, "Aare waah Vin, shaadi ke baad ladki parayi ho jaati hai ye to suna tha lekin..."
(Wow! We've heard after marriage, the girl becomes a stranger but..)

Rishika, "Yahan to ladke ne saamne se hi khud ko paraya ghoshit kar diya..."
(Here, the man has himself announced him to be stranger to his family)

Vinay with a sheepish smile, "Aare vo..."
(Actually...)

Siya with her childish expressions, "Bas bas..Bhai, Bhai na rha"
(Ok, ok...Our brother is not our brother any more...)
Everybody burst out in laughter.

Aashika got a call from her assistant, Rose, so she immediately left the place. On her way she meets Mr. Kulkarni.

Kulkarni "Oh, Hi Ms. Aashika" He forwards his hand to pat her shoulder but sensing her cold and dangerous stare, he took his hand back.

Kulkarni "Oh god, beautiful lady, you don't yet like anyone touching you"

Aashika never allowed anyone to touch her except her dear ones. Even though others did not have bad intentions.

Aashika gave him a stern reply, "Mr. Kulkarni, it's better if we don't barge into each other's matters unnecessarily"

Kulkarni "Oh, that's your ex right, my son is a way better option than..."

Aashika "Oh! Mr. Kulkarni just come here with me, I've got a splendid offer for you...Let's do the deal in 25 percent and 75 percent collab together."

Kulkarni's face lit up and followed her without even thinking for a single second. (Not knowing the upcoming disaster)

Aashika whispered "Here we are, this place is perfect, no one is here"

She punched him hard in his chest and grabbed his neck. He was left hanging into air (just a few millimetres above the ground) with Aashika holding his neck. It was impossible for one to breathe, when Ms. Aashika Singhania has decided to kill him.

Aashika with a devilish smirk, "You know what bastard, we will definitely do a deal but Aashika Singhania never shares her profit with someone" she leaves him making him fall down. He was coughing badly. Rose reaches there as she knows what's the best and worst her boss can do...

Aashika "Rose, give me the papers. Here, Kulkarni, sign these papers. It says that this deal will be completely mine with 100 percent profit to X-Guides" She takes out her gun and points it at his head, he was yet not able to breathe properly.

Aashika "Oh god! you've already turned so old but can't stop poking your nose in someone's job, right?"

Rose handed a pen to him and he signed the papers.

Aashika was about to leave but then she fired a shot at his leg "That's like a good old man. And this shot was for wasting my extra time on this deal"

She joined the party again with her assistant. She saw Nysa and Vinay talking so frankly with Ruhan, Ajay, Siya, Rishika and Rivan, a small smile curved on her lips.

Nysa "Hey everyone, get your partners and let's rock on the dance floor."

Everyone with their partners came on the dance floor and it took no time for their feet to start twirling with the beats of soft music in the background. There were a few people not dancing which constituted of Aashika and Rohit as well. Bhardwaj family never considered Mita as their daughter-in-law, even she didn't like them, she was self-centered but it was Rohit adamant not to leave his family and settle separately.

Aashika's favorite song was being played.

Aashika and Rohit, both could feel this song. It was their favourite one. After the dance, everyone had dinner. At the end of the party, Aashika announced "Nysa and I will be doing our respective jobs for the ICAI institute from Mumbai, tomorrow we will both be departing from Delhi." It was Mumbai where Aashika completed her higher education and established her company. After her separation with Rohit, she moved to Delhi, where she also got engaged in some political matters and improved her underworld connection.

Next morning, most of the businessmen were returning back. Aashika, Nysa and Vinay were checking out, just then Rivan approached them and said with a flustered face, "Ms. Aashika, I am sorry for whatever I said to you last night. I was drunk and I lost my senses. Please ignore my words"

Aashika, "No it's fine." she replied back and moved forward with a constant gaze on her mobile and her assistant following her. She was checking today's stock market stats.

At the airport, Aashika had an optical verification and continued towards her plane followed by Rose, Nysa, Kiaan and Vinay. She owned it but it was officially under her company's name. She had a partnership business with 3 of her friends, Abhishek, Kashvi and Ahem. They were besties since college. Aashika was the biggest share-owner of X-Guides.

It took around 6 hours to reach Mumbai. After a day's rest, they all got back to their respective works.

At X-Guides,

Aashika "See Abhi, anyhow this year we have to manage to be the most striding company of the year. We need to leave behind Bhardwaj Ltd. and Rajput Corporates."

Abhishek "Yupp and what about the deal in Germany?"

Aashika, "You will manage that!" She sipped her cup of coffee gazing out from the window to see the beautiful cityscape of Mumbai. Just then Rose called her, "Mam your work is done. sir is there waiting for you."

Aashika, "I can't meet him now, Rose, I don't want anyone to see us together. Give him your phone and ask him to talk to me"...She continued, "Hello, I know you are desperate to meet me, hug me and so am I but not now. Wait for some time. I hope you have already done the task I asked you to."

The speaker from other side, "Yeah, I have already done it, now just wait for tomorrow. I hope you are taking your care, right?"

Aashika "Oh god!! It's been the 5th time you are asking me this question since I am here in Mumbai"

Abhishek sitting on the chair in front of him let out a chuckle and she smiled back.

Abhishek, "Aashi are you sure, I should go for the deal??"

Aashika almost shouts at him, "Haaaan!!!! Go now!"
