"Aye aye Navigator"

"The first leg of our journey is over" Luffy spoke from his spot on the figure head of merry.

"It's an island! Of giant cactuses!!" Usopp said as everyone gathered at the front to see their first island in grand line.

A thump diverted their attention towards their right.
Miss Wednesday and Mr 9 were on the rail.

"Well, we'll be taking our leave now" Mr 9 spoke still head hung low, to sound mysterious I guess.

"We'll see you again, Fate willing! Thanks for the ride darlings!" Miss Wednesday said as they looked at us.

"Bye-bye, baby"

They jumped back into the ocean with a 'wahoo'

They sounded cool, not gonna lie but dumb cool is the right word.

Alice thought, laughing at them before looking back at the island, whiskey peak.

"They're gone" Nami muttered sweatdropping at them. While Zoro asked who they were.

"FORGET 'EM!! LET'S LAND!"

"There's a river. Looks like we stay for a while and relax after the fun!" Alice said grinning while stretching her arms. Nami and Usopp snapped their head at her.
"YOU CALL THAT FUN!?"
"WE COULD'VE DIED!"

"We didn't and plus it helped me move around better!" She said still grinning. Usopp wondered if she is taunting them or is just genuinely happy.

"Yea, it's true. Since Zoro was sleeping! You did the tiring work" Nami mumbled before signing.

"I-I hope there aren't monsters and stuff!" Usopp shuddered at the image when they saw huge sea kings.
"That's a definite possibility. This is the grand line" Sanji replied making him whine.

"If there are, we'll just run away!" Luffy said before looking at Alice who had a pout looking at them with furrowed eyebrows.
"Or! Alice will ask them go away or something!" He said making her grin at him.

"Yea! I WILL! YOU ALL DON'T NEED TO WORRY!" Alice replied to which Usopp and Nami hugged her tightly, thanking her.

"You are an angel!"

Nami then started explaining the log pose and other things.

"Hold it. Don't forget, we can't leave right away" she said making Usopp look at her giving a look

Alice laughed finding his reaction hilarious.

"We have to record the island's magnetic field with the log pose before we can move to the next island! The time it takes to "log" on each island varies. Some island may only take a few hours, but others could take days" she said causing Usopp to snap at her.

"You mean, if this island is full of monsters, we might have to STICK AROUND FOR DAYS!?" He yelled while Nami just replied casually with a 'that's right'

After the talk on how we have to go through the river to get to the island they immediately got to work.

"Get ready to run or fight" Zoro spoke while Alice and Luffy got more and more excited for it.

Meanwhile in the island the citizens spoted the pirate ship and started to prepare.

When they were near the town they started.....cheering?

"WELCOME TO OUR TOWN!!" "WELCOME TO THE GRAND LINE!!"

"Huh. Now that's weird" Alice said earning nod from Usopp and Zoro. Alice thought it was quite strange but if they want to welcome them, why bother questioning them.

"They're not monsters. They're welcoming us" Usopp questioned, confused at their actions as well.

"What's going on?" Sanji questioned narrowing his eyes at them, quite alert.

"HURRAY FOR THE HEROES OF THE SEA!!"

"WELCOME EVERYONE!!"

Many people gathered near the docks holding welcome sign boards. It felt really nice for some reason.

"Pirates are heros to these people!" Usopp spoke while giving them flying kisses with his noddle arms, completely flattered by their love.

Once they dropped their anchor and got down, they were greeted with a man with curled hair man.

"Err..AHEM! ma-ma-ma-ma!!♪ Welcome. My name is Igarappoi," He introduced making Alice bow her head.
"No doubt this all comes as a surprise to you. This is whiskey peak, a bustling town of ale brewing and music"

"We pride ourselves on our hospitality. We're proud of our ale and have an ocean of it. We'd love to hear the tales of your adventures" he said, grinning, a trumpet in his hand.

"Would you be so kind as to join....AHEM! Ma-ma-ma!♪...A celebrate in your honor?" He asked waiting for their reply.

"Mister.... you've curled your hair way too much" Luffy replied making Alice laugh.
"That was a good one!"

"What was good?"

"Nothing"

"You're werid"

"So are you"

"YOU BET WE WOULD!!" Alice, Luffy, Sanji and Usopp had already started moving ahead towards the bar where people were guiding them to.

Alice sat in the corner of the room, showing off her skills in art by drawing people within seconds. It was black and white, no trust in these people but the compassion in those drawings were pure.

"OH, Alice chan! This is amazing. I'm gonna hang this in my living room!" A guy double her age said while hugging her from the side, holding a portrait of him and his wife. She stiffened but didn't let it show.

"Your welcome, Toro san. You're really handsome so of course it will look great" she replied with a smile.

So handsome, that you make me want to paint you in your grave.

She looked towards her crew from the corner of her eyes. Sanji was with womens, flirting with them. Nothing new. Usopp was telling his 'tales'. Nothing new. Nami was having a drinking competition with a Sister. Now that's new. I didn't know about Nami drinks. Luffy was eating his 36th bowl. Again nothing new. Zoro was also having a little competition. Nothing new either, Zoro loves booze anyway.

She felt a little off with these people. One, because she knew who they were. Two, the reason why she knew, made it melancholy. Three, they made her feel on the edge, which she was trying so hard to not to feel for so many years.

She hadn't touched a single thing they offered except for the ice cream and mocktail. She placed her head on her arms, facing the wall and blocking all the sounds. Literally. She's capable of it, afterall.

She unblocked the sounds after a few minutes and heard the silence in the air. Sharpening her nose senses, she smelled a few people but they were farther away from her so taking the advantage, she opened her eyes and turned her head. Looking around, it landed on the sister, which Nami had a competition with, she was making her way towards the back door. Her crew members were all passed out. So, thinking of all the pros and cons, she followed the sister.

Pros, Her crew will be safe. For some reason she felt Nami was awake. She will find a way to wake the others. Which would be a clap on the face.

Cons, the dread feeling of what they will do with them.

After the sister left the door. She waited for a few seconds, waiting for her voice to fade out. She was saying something about how the crew can drink and eat so much, also mentioned about Alice, how she didn't touch anything.

She drank carbonated barley tea! Brought such disgrace to tea lovers by putting carbon in it. Uncle would be so mad if he heard her.

She slowly opened the door and backed up against the opposite wall of the building. She looked up and saw the moon.

It's Waning Gibbous. Moon looks so beautiful, even if she's hidden.

She looked at the walls and then her hands. It turned into a different texture. Like the footpads of a gecko. She'll need sticky footpads to climb the wall.

She put her hands on the wall and immediately started climbing it. A reason why she doesn't like wearing shoes or slippers or boots or.. any footwear.

Her foot and palm turned normal after reaching the top. She saw something moving from her peripheral vision, turning, she saw Zoro waving his sword. She grinned and jumped from one building to another. Her bare legs caused no sound at all.

Once she reached him, he caught her in a headlock, rubbing his knuckles on her hand. Hard. She didn't make a sound so as to not alert the enemy's ahead (hehe). All she did was give a knowing grin. Widely.

"Why did you leave the bar by yourself?" He asked after she sat beside him.

"I know these guys. They are up to no good," she turned to him

"I have a lot to explain, don't I?" she replied, grinning at him.

"You sure do, little lady" he replied with the nickname she was called when she was with him in a town. She felt nice, knowing she still had the same relationship with Zoro like they used to have. She would somehow annoy him without herself knowing about it and he would never yell at about it. Strange but nice.

The 'Mayor', showed the three people, Luffy's Bounty, making them freak out. Alice grinned at Luffy's grinning face. The 'Mayor' ends up with the solution of not killing the crew and handing them to the Marine since the dead Bounty's value drips by 30 percent. The government wants to execute them publicly? Why would they kill rockies in public?

"Action 'bout to begin" Zoro said to Alice, grinning at her. To which she replied with her own.

"Let's get going now" said Mr.8 looking at the bar.

"Sorry but would you let them sleep a while longer?," Zoro spoke, making them look back towards them.

"They are tired from the voyage" Alice completed, sitting comfortably on the edge, at the same time people from the bar came out yelling that one of them got away.

"You! But you were wasted and weren't you asleep?! When did you even get out?" The Mayor questioned, before looking at the men. Demanding how they never saw the girl slipping out.

"Sorry, Mr. 8!"

"A true swordsman never drinks himself into a stupor" Zoro replied, making Alice sweat drop at him.

His swordsman dialogues can be questionable sometimes.....

"And a den of bounty hunters can be a dangerous place. You trick pirates into celebrating their passage on the grade line!" Zoro said, his sword out pointing at them and slowly stood up too.

"Looks to be about a hundred bounty hunters. I'll take you on Baroque Works"

"You can take about 30 of them max. Don't want you ruining my fun" He said, making her nod.

"I never wanted to fight at all but sure" she replied

She zoned out as Zoro went on about how he was offered to Baroque Works but he turned them down because they kept their secrecy and wouldn't let him be their leader. Guess little Zoro was angy about it that's why he was known as a bloodthirsty monster.

They started to make a lot of commotion and it got pretty loud so Alice frowned and jumped down down, a level below from them but still on the rooftop, making them turn their attention at her

"Your Baroque Works are still as annoying as always" She mumbled, causing Mr. 8 to gasp at her. She looked at them with a little smile.

"Secret organisations like yours aren't so secret when it comes to spys" She said. Mr. 8 pointed at her,

"You are a Gentle jet, Alice! Bounty of 50 Million!!"

She let out a smirk at that. People around her gasped in shock. How could they not recognise her before!? The golden-green eyes are like a predator. The short black hair. Her black on black outfit with a signature mint sweater, rolled up to reveal her bandaged hands. She was the infamous Gentle jet Alice of East blue. No Marine was ever able to capture her. Smoker was. But she escaped. Twice.

Zoro looked at her with a smirk. Already knowing about her bounty because of his previous occupation.

"Surprise," She said, jumping down, making them ready their weapons. She tilted her head and faked her malice. "But you just know my surface. It's way deep that even I don't know it"

"Come on, Zoro. This way I'll take the 70" She said smiling, turning her head to look at Zoro who grinned at her before he jumped back down towards the back door, all the while others were paying attention to Alice.

One of them yelled out that the guy on the terrace had disappeared. While Alice saw that he had somehow managed to stand between them also looking for himself. "HE'S HERE!"

They took aim and pulled their trigger. It didn't hit Zoro, he wasn't there. So, they shot each other. Alice signed before punching the guy who tried to come at her thinking she was distracted.

Alice was dragging a few people away from the crowd. There were more than 15 of them following her.

That makes 16. Since I knocked out the guy earlier.

She turned suddenly, that made the people following her to let out a shrink. "W-What's wrong?" A lady asked. Alice stepped towards them slowly with a panicked face. She stood in front of her and held out her fist which was shaking. The fist taking slightly different texture.

"You see this..." she whispered softly, to which the lady nodded. Alice pulled it back and punched her in the centre of the face. The women fell down unconscious. Rest looked at her and paled. Alice was looking at them with narrowed eyes, a frown showing she was totally upset with their action.

"That was for tricking my friends and trying to kill them at the start"

"Come on, who's next?" she said with a smile. Inviting them to their half slumper.

Alice let out a sign while scratching her head.

"Zoro is not gonna like it" she mumbled but walked away. Behind were a pile of Baroque Work members, all unconscious. Problem was, she took out more than 40 people. Probably 47. Yea, she counted.

It wasn't my fault that Mr. 8 sent them to me.

One of them said that Mr. 8 gave them orders to take her out and bring her alive. Wonder why?

She walked towards the bar. Wanting Luffy by her side. She felt eyes on her, ignored it, but kept her guard up. She was walking away from the bar since she didn't want to risk her friends getting hurt and turned back with a neutral face.

"You can come out," she said and smiled

"I don't bite"

A woman stood up from her spot on one of the rooftops. Alice could see her face clearly in the moonlight which made her face glow. She was beautiful. Alice thought that immediately after she saw her face.

"My my, quite sharp, aren't you?" She spoke before jumping down, making Alice tense. Her voice was soft yet held an air of danger

What is she onto?

"You do bite, I saw what you did. Quite impressive. Such raw strength hidden inside of a young girl" she said with a smile. Alice didn't feel any lies in it so she smiled back. "Thank you," she replied before tilting her head to the side.

"May I ask why you were following me? You're probably one of them. Itching for a fight?"

The women in front of her let out a chuckle.

"Not quite but I do want to see if the rumours are true" she replied, the smile on her face never leaving

"What's your name?" Alice asked with a poker face. She was very calm. Can be dangerous, but Alice knows her way around things and people

"It's polite to introduce yourself first" The woman replied as she raised her palm and placed it on her cheek while her other arm folded and supported the other.

"Oh yea. Sorry for being impolite. My name is Alice. Pleasure to meet you"

"Nico Robin. Pleasure to meet you as well"

Alice's face lit up when the woman revealed her name. She knew about Nico Robin. Her friends and she herself had a mission where they had to collect information about the 'Demon child'.

The woman in front of noticed it and was certainly confused with it.

"Sein fleur"

Suddenly Alice felt a pair of hands grow out of her back and wrapped them around her. She let out a gasp and gave a wide smile.

"Is that your devil fruit ability?" She asked, her eyes filled with curiosity and excitement. The women couldn't help but smile at the girl.

So contagious...

"Indeed but won't you escape?" She asked, still smiling. Alice tilted her head and looked back trying to see how the pair of arms grew out of her. She smiled when she came up with an idea.

"I will"

Jumping up, Alice landed on the roof and the hands turned into petals. Her eyes widened.

Huh? They disappeared? But they were so soft...

As she was about to turn she felt those arms grow out and immobilise her and make her trip. She landed on her stomach but flipped to her bottom and jumped up. "Maybe some other way" she mumbled before looking at the woman who had her arms still crossed the same way while looking at Alice with a gentle smile. Alice thought of two things.

If she is physically weak then maybe I can get out of this. But there are chances that the arms which grew out of me were stronger so win or lose here.

Second, the arms disappeared when I jumped on the rooftop, getting away from her vision. Which means she can only use her devil fruit when looking at the person or object. Win win situation.

Alice jumped down the roof away from the women and the arms disappeared again. Knew it!

She hid on top of the house, against the wall and heightened her senses.

Footsteps were really light, really graceful. Cautions but graceful. Her brain's gears turned while thinking about something.

The footsteps walked past her but she knew that she can't get away without a worthy fight so she jumped down in front of her. "Finally decided to show up?" The woman asked, her voice hinted at amusement.

"If I win, will you leave me alone?" Alice asked. Although still an enemy. She could feel like this woman was of pride and wouldn't attack her after she losses. Alice did think this through.

"Of course" It was a go to Alice.

She ran towards her while the women crossed her arms but before she could say anything else, Alice jumped behind her and hugged her from behind. The women let out a gasp and turned around to look at Alice who smirked at her. Flipping them, Alice threw the women from her shoulder, who landed with a thump. Giving no room to prepare another attack. Alice ran towards her but the woman crossed her arms and almost made limbs grow from the ground to trip her but Alice slapped her palm on her eyes making her arms uncross and the arms disappeared.

If she can only use it when she crosses her arms then I have to immobilise her.

She held the woman's wrist and pinned her to the ground. The women huffed once, clearly out of breath, before looking at Alice.

Alice's hair slightly brushing the women's cheeks and forehead. Her golden-green predator-like eyes boring into her blue ones. Her lips sealed indicating the fact that she wasn't tired.

Is she 18? But she looks tiny so....16?

"How old are you?" The woman asked, her face void of any emotion but her eyes were filled with curiosity and amusement.

"14. But I'm turning 15 soon"

Robin couldn't be more surprised. The girl looked too pretty to be 14. She had that mature aura around her. An air that held inviting vibes, joy and that of responsibility. She was like a woman in a girl's body. But Robin was intrigued, she wanted to know more about the girl.

"Are you happy?" It was a plain question but both the females knew her motives behind it.

Alice got up and started walking away.

"Yes," she slightly turned over her shoulder looking at the women who stood up.

"I'm happy and content"

Running on all four towards where she smelt her crew.

Zoro, Nami and the blue haired women whom they helped turned towards the direction of the sound in alert while Luffy was turned without any fear. There was a ship and on top of it was the curly haired cow guy in Miss Wednesday's costume.

"Alice! Where were you?" Nami demanded to which she grinned as Zoro answered her question.

"She was with me, fighting those guys. Did you have a good fight?" He asked her, annoyed that she took more than he said.

"ALICE!! Hey!" Luffy waved his arms in the air, happy to his sister. "Hey, Luffy!"

"YOU WANNA ANSWER ONLY HIM!?" Nami and Zoro yelled at her together but she only grinned and hugged her brother who was more than happy to return it by wrapping his arms around her multiple times.

"Sorry" she said with a guilty smile to which they forgave her, unable to resist the adorable face their little crew member made.

"Alice, this is Vivi. She's a princess! We are going to give her a ride to her kingdom! Are you okay with it?" He asked and tilted his head. This made Vivi tense, she remembered that wasn't the nicest to them when she attacked the whale and got them in this mess. She thought that this 'Alice' won't agree, which made her frown and from what she saw, even though Luffy is the captain, it looked like Alice's opinions mattered to him alot.

"Sure," She replied, a smile on her face like always.

Vivi snapped her head, surprised with the reply.

"What's wrong? Oh, I don't mind what you did. If you had motives behind it which you were forced to, then it's fine. I'll gladly help you. We all will" She stated and grinned at the bluenette. Vivi teared up, her fear dissolving completely. She hugged the shorter girl who hugged her back.

"Don't worry, we'll help you out"

"Thank you. Thank you so much"

As Igaram waved at them, the ship moved out. It suddenly blasted and caught on fire. Completely destroying it. Alice looked at it wide eyed. A frown soon latched on her face. She turned to Vivi, the look, the expression on Vivi's face was all too familiar to her.

Vivi was holding her cries by biting on her lower lip, drawing blood. Nami and Alice rushed to her. Nami hugged the girl while Alice rubbed her back, giving her a side hug. Nami comforted her, assuring that they'll protect her and get her to Alabasta.

As Luffy dragged Usopp and Sanji, Nami and Vivi searched for Caru, the duck pet of Vivi's. Alice and Zoro were on the ship, preparing it for leaving, though it was just Alice.

"We can't leave! Caru is missing!" Vivi yelled through the deck not wanting to leave her pet behind. Zoro pointed in a direction, "You mean that duck?" He asked, she turned towards the direction and saw Alice petting and talking to the duck.

"YOU WERE HERE ALL ALONG!?"

"Alright, SET SAIL!" luffy exclaimed which earned a chorus of aye aye from the crew.
