“Hey isn't that the mast...of our ship?” Usopp questioned with his arms crossed, looking at Laboon.

“Yeah, that's the main mast,” Sanji replied, letting out the smoke from his cigarette. The mast was indeed snapped out and stuck on the head of the whale's head.

“Well,” Alice spoke while looking at Laboon with a tight smile. “We're screwed”

The whale's eyes looked like it started to sweat so Alice took that as a precaution and shut her ears with her hands. The 🐋 let out a loud noise and started to move it's head left and right, creating huge waves.

“WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING??!” Nami, Zoro and Sanji shouted at Luffy while Crocus was extremely afraid of the outcome. Usopp….well, Usopp was,

“DON'T DESTROY OUR SHIP!”

Yeah, that.

Alice opened a single eye to see her brother getting swung around by the whale along with his 'Waah!!'s

It started to come towards them so they quickly stepped away from the edge.

Is he gonna ram?

It's head started to fall towards the edge of the ground

Yea….wait, Luffy! Oh, he'll be fine since he is rubber. But he is still gonna feel pain.

Alice saw that Crocus was trying to go towards luffy since he would be in danger…...if he wasn't made of rubber that is…but Crocus doesn't know that so Nami, who was nearest to him held him back saying something. That's when Alice remembered to remove her ear monitors. Yeah, she had them on after Laboon had let out a Rumble when she and the crew, minus luffy, were still inside.

Luffy was pulling a little (huge) stunt by punching Laboon’s eye, who in return threw him off. Alice turned to see him slam into the lighthouse and slump down.

“What's he up to?” Usopp mumbled as Alice waddled towards Luffy's aid. He looked at her when she kneeled down. He looked right in her eyes to see what she was upto, there wasn't worry, but a relief. Him and to the whale. He gave her a small smile, who returned him with a huge one back.

The whale was again trying to ram its head again when, “IT'S A DRAW!!” Luffy yelled through the air, while Alice cringed at the loudness and stood back straight, looking at others.

“I'm pretty strong, huh!?” Luffy started with a grin. Blinking twice, Laboon looked at Luffy, confused.

“Our match isn't over yet. We still have to settle it. Your friends may be gone for good, but you've got a rival--ME!!” He said and looks like Laboon was finally catching on to his actions. Others looked at the scene with nervous or poker faces, just Zoro being Zoro.

“After we circle the grand line….i’m coming back here, and we're gonna fight again!!” He declared with a wide grin. Laboon had tears in his eyes. It has the capability to fill the 0.0003% of water into the ocean, since whale's are big and Laboon is the biggest whale ever, like heck they mistook him for a mountain, and its tears will be gigantic.

Alice mind can be really creative sometimes

Crocus let out a smile. While the others watched on with their own. Oh, Alice was having her time of life seeing Laboon happy.

“BWAAAAAAAAAAAAH” Alice was stunned with it's reply, she didn't expect it at all. She laughed and nodded, as if agreeing with him.

“Thank you, you moron!”

Alice had settled herself on Nami's bed. Out as light. Usopp tried to wake her up, since he wanted help with fixing the mast, since she had said something having a little experience by helping her shipwright friends with ships and boats but she wouldn't budge. While getting off the ship, Sanji grinned, looking at Usopp.

“Don't even bother, she won't get up for…..20 minutes max. She does that once in a while”

“What? What does that mean?” Usopp asked, confused the hell out of his mind. Zoro, who was sleeping, opened his single, listening to the cook.

“She usually does that when she is jet lagged or after a tiring day. My guess is a tiring day, actually,” He started, his arm curled around the rope and let himself hang on it.

She usually doesn't sleep much when she is on her boat. And after she joined the crew, she went to bed at like 5 in the morning and I think she was awake for while and woke up around 10:00, so, not much sleep"

“She is an Owl, I'm telling you”

Alice woke up exactly after 20 minutes. Sanji knows her well, wondering how…..anyway, she walked out of the door yawning and stretched. Hearing the pop's, she sighed and walked towards the back of the ship and spotted a wild Zoro in his habitat. So, she ran in his direction and jumped on him. He immediately woke up and let out a choke and grunted in discomfort.

“Sorry” Alice whispered softly, as if she was sleeping but she has already disturbed that job.

“YOU MORON! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!” He shouted at her and smacked her head.

“Ow….”

“DON'T 'OW’ ME!”

“But I was bored and wanted to have fun”

“BY JUMPING ON A SLEEPING PERSON?”

“By jumping on you”

“A SLEEPING ME!”

“.....”

“......”

“.........Now fun?”

“.....”

He let out a sigh and looked at her head which had a bump from his hit. He rubbed the spot and looked at her who had her eyes on him, looking at him innocently, wanting nothing but having fun.

“What do you wanna do?” He asked, which made her grin widely. He could see the stars dancing around her.

“LET'S SPARE, ZORO!”

Oh, you don't know how happy that made him. During his journey alone, before Johnny and Yasoku, Alice had challenged him to a duel. If he won, then she would give him some money but if she won then he has let her tag along with him. He didn't agree at first but she charged at him and let's say, he lost….. badly.

Alice had won without much effort. He obviously let her tag along. Oh, how bad an idea it was.

She would constantly wander around, never sitting in a single place for a long time. She was impatient for adventure. He learned her nature quickly though. She was laid back, looking for adventure, generous, polite and open-minded and quite blunt at times. She also never fought anyone so he was confused why she fought him. She was always on guard, always on defence, as if someone would attack any moment. It made him feel on the edge but she assured him that it was just her habit.

Confused. He was just as confused as the readers.

“One or Three or Bag?” Zoro asked. Alice tilted her head. oh, the same tilt she did when a bird had popped on his shoulder. He looked at his shoulder from the corner of his eyes, subconsciously.

“Bag”

It was simple. One, means one sword against her. Three meant, all three swords with full force or Bag, which meant, she only wanted to test out something or just train herself. She did the same for him but with different names.

“Go!”

Okay, it didn't end the way he expected it. She had gotten 3 times stronger than before. What he expected her to do was trying to do some little genius tricks of hers. What he didn't expect was for her to land strong punches, almost leaving bruises. Looks like she trained her muscles. She was serious when it came to testing out something serious. Ironic, since she too, like her brother, isn't serious about a lot of things where they should be giving their attention and be serious. That's a lot of serious

“Zoro”

Looking in the direction of her voice, he saw a towel and three glasses of water in another.

Forget she worked at a bar

He took the towel and slung it on his shoulder before taking a glass. “Thanks”. Well, he would never be rude to her though.

“I'm going back to the crew, you wanna come along?” She asked as Zoro placed back the empty glass and took another. While she took the empty glass into her left hand and snapped her right hand in the air, leaving the glass coming back to the ground….ya know because of gravity. But! She caught it in her hand in mid air.
(I'll draw this scene later to make it clear)

“Nah. Go on ahead, I still need to recover my sleep” He replied and yawned.

After keeping the glasses back in the kitchen she ran back towards the back of the ship, jumped off and  landed on the ground, making Usopp and Nami turn towards her.

“Hey, Alice!” Nami greeted with a smile and a wave which Alice returned with her wider and energetic one. Walking towards Usopp who was already waving at her. “Hey! Got your beauty sleep yet? Sanji lost apparently” Usopp spoke which left her confused.

“Lost what?”

“When you fell asleep, Sanji said you would wake up after 20 mins but he was wrong. You woke after almost 50 minutes” He replied with a laugh and Alice joined him but for a different reason.

“He was right"

“Huh” oh Usopp felt his hopes get crushed.

“I woke up like 30 minutes ago but I was sparing with Zoro” She replied with a grin making him comically fall to the ground but stood right back up.

“WHY COULDN'T YOU BE ASLEEP!!?”

“Because I woke up!”

“...That was such an amazing reply, I don’t know what to say”

Apparently, Luffy had agreed to let the two guys who tried to attack Laboon come on board for a ride to whiskey peak. Which was their first island of the grand line. Alice will draw everything!! For sure!

Sanji came towards the three with two plates. Luffy smelling the food came rushing but Sanji kicked him away, saying it wasn't for him. It was for Alice since she missed the family dinner. Or crew lunch.

“Thank you, Sanji!” Alice said when he placed the dish in front of her. He grinned seeing her reaction.

“You’re welcome, dear”. Alice never forgets about being polite and basic formalities. Greetings, Thanking, Apologising, Farewells, Bowing, etc.... And she always thanked him and always said that his dish was amazing. He never got tired of hearing it since it made him motivated to do better for her next dish.

She always remembers it. No, actually it's just her being her. Alice is polite and friendly. Her nature attracts people towards her. She has been to Baratié like 20+ times and she always thanked him for such delicious food.

There was no fish left since luffy ate it all. So Sanji decided to go with something she always loves. Ramen with spicy broth along with rice and curry.

He would never forget about her healthy meals.

"It's so delicious, Sanji! Never fails to make me happy" Alice complimented with food in her.

"Thank you, dear Alice. Also, don't talk with your mouth full" he replied. Classic Sanji, taking the role Big Brother who always acts like Mother. Honestly Alice never felt the need of mother when she's with him. And even father but she doesn't know how being with a father feels like.

"Sorry..." Alice muttered but smiled at him, who gave her one of his own.

“I should make something for Sanji…” Alice mumbled with food in her mouth. Usopp who was sitting in front of her, inspecting her ear monitors, heard her and looked up. “You can cook?” He asked, surprised with her. “Not really, not as good as Sanji but I'm good with drinks and mocktails. Since I worked at a bar, I experimented with drinks. I'll make one after dinner for all of you!” She replied enthusiastically. Excited to make something for her friends.

She can now be useful to the crew.

"Hey, I saw you painting earlier! Are you an artist?" Usopp asked, excited to share his interest in it as well. This made Alice shoot stars.

"Oh my god, yes! I love Art! Infact, I'm actually a famous one I suppose. I have made a painting back in East Blue which went to Auction house and was sold for 200 Million berries!!! Can you believe it!?" Alice replied happily. Nami was also listening to this and was surprised to day the least.

One, She can fight. And very well at that.

Two, She has such a contagious personality

Three, She worked as a bar tender which means she dealt with many many werid people and survived on her own for such long time untill she found Luffy.

And now she is a famous Artist? What else can she is now? An assassin? A spy? A freaking warrior? Oh Nami was sure she will make the person pay who kidnapped her and made her suffer.

"THAT'S SO AWESOME! CAN I SEE YOUR DRAWINGS?!! OH, I DRAW TOO! THE GREAT  USOPP WAS KNOWN AS THR WORLDS BEST PAINTER YOU KNOW!?"

"Sure, Usopp. I'll also give you tips to make your painting better!"

"Pfft-" Nami held in her laugh as Usopp crumbled to the ground. Oh, she can make a savage comments too now! Oh Nami loves Alice so much! Nami laughed out loud not being able to control anymore and Alice's confused innocent face made it funnier. Soon Alice joined Nami while Usopp drew circles on the ground.

Sanji watched from afar and saw the reaction or aura Alice made around people.

Unknowingly. He was a victim to her charm as well. All in all. She has brains, she is really clever. He was surprised to know the little girl had such knowledge who should be playing games instead. He knew there was a burden behind it but he felt proud to say that she considered him family and called him brother once. Accidentally, but it was enough to make him happy for his entire life.

I'll protect you, even if you are strong from the outside, I know you aren't from the inside

I can't really promise that I'll be regular, but I will put more efforts into my stories, that's a promise!
