After knowing that their next stop is little garden, Alice wasn't going sit still.

"Zoro! Zoro! What do you think Little garden is gonna be like?!" Alice asked Zoro who was laying on the back of the ship. Opening his open eye and staring at her.
"Go annoy someone else." He said before turning away from her. She pouted before shaking his left arm.

"Zorooo! Come on! Little garden sounds so fun! Don't you wanna know what it's like?" She asked again but only received a shove in return. She sat on the ground in the same position for a while before making annoyed face, still with a pout. She punched him in the arm multiple time while also yelling at him.

"ZOROOO!"

"ZOROOOO!!"

"ZOROOOOOOO-"

Thud

Steam was coming out of the bump on Alice's head as she walked back towards the main deck with a pout.

Alice walked towards Usopp and immediately jumped on his back. Since he was sitting, they didn't fall. He let out a cry before holding her arms.

"Alice! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" He yelled while slapping her arm.

"Sorry~ but I really wanna know what Little garden is like!" She complained before dropping her arms.

"Well, you'll know once we get there. Have some patience, will you?" He said with a frown.

Why is everyone so grumpy today?

She frowned before smiling wide.

"Tell me a story!"

"Some other time. I'm busy right now. It was you guys who told me to make fishing gears, didn't you? It is taking a while but it will be awesome once it's done!" He replied to which she signed in her head before chuckling at his excitement.

Let's see what others are doing.

Walking towards Nami's room, she heard some light grumbling from inside. She knocked three time before calling her.

"Nami~"

"Come in."

Her voice made Alice smile before opening the door excitedly but seeing her face made her smile drop.
"What's wrong?"

"I'm trying to make this chart but it keeps getting wrong! It's starting to get to my head now!" Nami replied while grabbing her hair.

"Take a little walk and maybe some drink. I'm sure it will help" Alice replied with a soft smile. Nami wanted to complain but the genuine smile on Alice's face made her think otherwise.

"Alright, maybe Sanji can make a drink" She replied before leaving the room with Alice following behind.

Alice went to the upper deck and thought to engage in a conversation with Vivi who was sitting on the rail of the upper deck since Sanji would be busy making a drink for Nami.

"Hello, Vivi san!" Alice greeted with a dazzling smile. "Hello, Alice" Vivi replied, without looking away from the sea. Alice stopped in the track and titled her head.

"Are you feeling okay?" Alice asked making Vivi look at her confused.

"Yes? I'm alright. Infact, I feel so calm. The sea is so peaceful and relaxing. I can literally take a nap right now!" Vivi replied and gave Alice a smile.

"I'm glad! Well, I have some work. Call me if you need anything!" With that Alice left to go to the boys room which she knew no was in.

Before she could climb down, she saw Luffy sitting on the figure head, holding his hat. She smiled when she felt she can talk to someone.

but stopped when few thoughts came to her mind.

Go annoy someone else.

Some other time. I'm busy right now.

It's starting to get to my head now!

I can literally take a nap right now.

She thought to just head towards the room. A smile on her face still on her face while looking at Vivi who was enjoying herself.

Now, the idea of going to Little garden seemed so irrelevant and boring.

After completing the drawing, she held up to see the results. Her smile turned into a frown when she felt it was off.

Her drawings were sloppy and were just shaded.

"Why did it turn out like this?" She mumbled before turning the page. Her leg bounced while she drew another drawing.

It wasn't even complete half way when she dropped her pencil and put her hands on her lap, only now noticing the bouncing of ber legs. A sweat rolling down her temple. A frown on her face. Overall it felt like she was scared.

She closed her unfinished drawing and took out her camera from the desk. Hanging it on her neck. She searched around the room for something.

Seeing the pile of blankets, she waddled towards it. Rearranging them randomly.

She took a picture of it. Before thinking of something.

She tossed two blanket in the air and immediately took another picture of it.

Checking the picture and nodded it herself. Leaving the blanket as it was. She walked towards the desk and placed her camera infront of her and took out her sketch book.

She started to draw and shaded all the necessary places. Once she was finished she held and smiled at the perfection of it.

"It's good enough.." she muttered before thinking what she should do. Looking at the couch, the thought of sleeping crossed her mind.

She frowned and shock her head.

"Nope. Not sleeping........then what else can I do?" She thought before an idea came to her mind.

Taking her sketchbook with her, she left the room and climbed up the mast and sat there comfortably. Before looking at the sky.

She started to draw the werid looking clouds and shaded them. Once she was finished, instead of holding it infront of her to see, she pressed the pencil on the sketch hard.

Snap!

Looking at the small dent and the line it caused because of the snapped pencil. She signed and stood up, leaving her new book abandoned.

She jumped down. Walking back to the room, she felt drained all of a sudden. Stretching and taking a deep breath didn't seem to be working.

"Land Aho!!" She heard Luffy yell which seem to make everyone walk outside, leaving their work at halt.

"I see Little garden! Alice, finally happy to see it now?" Usopp asked while grinning at her. She looked back at him with a wide grin.

"You bet!"

But it doesn't look as exciting anymore

As they grew near, the environment caused to make Usopp and Nami shake at the unsettling giant island.

Alice stared at the island with neutral face which caused the cook raise his eyebrows at her.

They heard roars and many other sounds which Alice ignored as she thought of something else.

"Excuse me, sir. Can you give me some money?"

"....."

"Si-"

"CAN YOU GET LOST! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M HAVING A DATE HERE! YOU'LL RUIN MY DAY!"

"Listen, Alice. I have other important problems in my hands so please tend by yourself"

"Alice! How many times have I said that it isn't for you! It's for special customers!"

"Luk! I told you not to go there, right!? Look, you injured yourself!"

"But Nee san. You have a deeper cut-"

"Your's is more important!"

The crew was planning to divide into the island. With Zoro and Sanji making a competition on who will bring a bigger hunt. Luffy and Vivi had ran to explore the island. Nami and Usopp decided to stay on the ship, too scared to leave.

Alice was planning to go on her own to see the island to draw for her adventure book.

"Alice, finally happy to see it now?"

"You bet!"

Alice stared at the island with a neutral face.

If according to Usopp commenting on Alice finally being happy about seeing Little garden, means that she probably talked about it a lot which made him say that.

Then why wasn't she happy to see it? She looked rather upset.

The thought of her being upset made Sanji frown. She shouldn't be upset. She is literally a sunshine. A ball of energy of the crew. She is supposed smile and laugh.
Her dazzling smile was missing today.

Sanji turned towards Alice who was making her way towards the forest all by herself. He frowned at that.

"Alice!" He called making her halt and look at him.
"Huh?"

"Come with me." he said making her slightly uneasy.
She knew that he knew she was upset about something and wanted to do something.

He had started walking already leaving her no place to object. She signed before waddling over to him.

"Who do you think will win?" He asked with a smirk.

"You!" She replied with a wide smile. He laughed out loud at that. Oh how he wished Zoro was here so he can listen to this. He is so gonna rub this on him.

"Now," he spoke and lit a cigar and turned towards her.

"Want to tell me what's wrong?" He asked while she frowned looking away.

"I felt no one wanted to spend time with me," she told before explaining what happened and told that she felt like they didn't wanted her or just didn't needed her to stay near them. She did feel comfortable enough say that to Sanji, she knew he wouldn't judge and will always love her no matter what.

Sanji let out a breath and thought over it for a while.

"I guess something happened similar to this before with you" He said. She was shocked he caught on it this fast but she should know better than that. He knew her for 3 years or so.

"Zoro is just a jerk so ignore him but I will make him pay for hurting you. Usopp might've not meant to hurt you and he didn't know what happened to you before but he should still apologize. Nami and Vivi didn't say anything hurtful to you, your mind is playing tricks to make you think it's your fault. You aren't any less important to us, Alice. All of us care about you and it would really hurt us to see you upset" He told her while she looked at him, listening to very word he spoke.

"Don't let something in the past get to you. They are past and they are useless if it will hurt you. Forget them and have fun like you always do," he said grinning at causing her to smile at him.

"Also, you can always come to me or Luffy if you feel down. You know we will always be there for you! You idiot of a brother loves you too much to let you hurt yourself" He said before ruffling her hair and have a side hug which it turned into a tight hug when Alice decided to just crush his waist.

He was surprised before returning the hug, holding her tightly while rubbing her arm in a comforting manner.

Meanwhile Alice had buried her face in his stomach more like cloth. It doesn't matter.

She parted away before giving him determined look.

"I understood!! I will not let things like that get to me anymore!"

He chuckled and ruffled her hair again before straightening it back since he ruined the hair.

"Let's go catch a meal! I can't lose to that Marino!!" He said while Alice yelled to pump his excited.

"Yeahhhh!!!"

After a while they came back with a large and thick lizard.

"Something's definitely wrong. Very wrong. They've been gone a long time. Why haven't they come back?" Sanji questioned after they waited for a while.

"Could something have happened to Nami and Vivi!!? If so, this is no time for me to be cooking a lizard dinner" He said and stood up. Alice turned to him and jumped on his back making him lose balance for a second before regaining it and holding her in place.

"Onwards to the destination, Mr. Sanji!!" She yelled pointing at the forest.

He laughed before jumping down and running in the direction she pointed at.

"Nami~ Vivi~!!" Sanji yelled while Alice used her devil fruit to catch a scent of any of the crew members.

"Did you catch a scent?" He asked turing to look at her.
"Nope. The forest is filled with many strong scent. It's hard for me at the moment but let's just keep moving for now." she said while laying her head on his shoulder.

"Are you tired?" He asked, starting to walk again.
"Kind off. I used my devil fruit back in Whiskey peak after a long while so maybe I got overboard" She replied sticking her tongue out.

"Well, rest after we are back at the ship." he said making her hum as an answer.

Didn't even know when she drifted to sleep but when he tried to set her down after he beat up a tiger with bigass teeth, she didn't let go so he turned to see her sleeping. Carefully he placed her on the animal and took a seat behind her and held her so she won't fall.

".....you!" Alice woke up with when she heard something which happened to be Sanji yelling 'I love you' to Nami and Vivi.

She looked to her right and saw a house? A house in middle of forest?

"Sanji, look!" She pointed at the house and held something, looking down she saw she was on an animal.

When did this happen??

"Huh? What's this?"

Alice went over and licked the house since it was dripping. She spitted whatever was on her tongue. "Well, it doesn't taste good, whatever it is." She replied making him laugh.

"Did you really lick this thing?" He said making her nod and she opened the door after knocking.

"We are coming in~"

What happened back with her getting depressed??

If you notice the thoughts and flash backs. They start with blunt comments like the one with Zoro where he said that she was annoying ber. And the 'Sir' said that she was ruining his date/day.

Then, Usopp said he was busy and the lady said that she had other important work making her feel like she wasn't important.

Thrid, Nami said that she was frustrated with her work and the lady indirectly said she wasn't important/ someone special. She felt like a burden.

Lastly, Vivi said she was relaxed and at peace and the situation with luk shows that she didn't care about her injury. In which both didn't say anything to upset her but it was mind which was tuned in as to not care about herself.

Which means the last two might not be rude but she considered that she wasn't needed or wasn't important. Hence, she asked Vivi if she is okay. Because if she was calm then she wouldn't have a talk with her. Having a serious injury and treated a small one shows that she doesn't care about herself.

This is not selfless. It's looking down on yourself.

Alice suffered from neglection and was ignored by her 'friends' too and called unimportant.
