Underground rapper and dancer
Mini was indeed an underground rapper. They were known as "Fuego" for their hot/fire bars. They wore a mask to stay anonymous. She used to go to many places in Korea with her dad of course just to do it. Being young was an obstacle but she powered through it. She actually met Yoongi on multiple occasions. Also being an underground/street dancer, Areum made some good money from it. Placing bets on who's the best dancer, then winning those bets. That had brought Hoseok and her closer, having the same hobbies payed off with a great friendship.

Jade
People sometimes ask, why is areum part of the 4J? She doesn't have a J in her name. 4J is a nickname for the Dance line. The J comes from her Middle name / English name, Jade. It is actually J'adelle but she gets tired of people mispronouncing it so she just goes with Jade.

The nickname Diamond
RM stated:
"If you ever hear Mini saying that the nickname Diamond is because of her eyes, call her out she is lying. Diamond is too say that there isn't another like her. She has multiple talent that may have you thinking, 'does she have any flaws or she bad at anything?' But what makes her even more different is the fact that she isn't scared to admit her mistakes. She doesn't like showing her vulnerable side but in the most subtle way she'll allow you to see it. Sometimes I'm like' girl just take the praise', but she'll always respond with 'thank you but i didn't do much, if it wasn't for you guys i wouldn't be here'. She is one of the most humble people i know. So hard working, won't stop till it's perfect. So caring, will put anyone and everyone before her. It's honestly like describing a mom. Despite being one of the youngest, she acts like the oldest, like a loving mom. Diamond for one of a kind. She is pretty much good at everything. When she doesn't know something give a few minutes and she masters it.... I'm proud of her."

엄마(Mom)
A nickname given by Jungkook. At first, he said it to annoy her when she showed how caring she was. But then it became a habit for not only him but the other members. First as a teasing way but it became a more serious one. She acts so much like a mom that it's somewhat scary. If you hear one of them screaming 엄마 and you will definitely hear Mini screaming a 네 or 예 back.

JYPE, SM, YG etc...
Areum went and auditioned at many companies. Most of the time she was told "You won't be able to fit in a girl group. We need a girl group not a wannabe boy group." That would definitely hurt someones feelings. Jype's excuse was "You definitely have talent but it's not what we need. You don't have the looks nor the aura for an idol. A girl idol." (Yes, Jype used to scout trainees by their looks. Glad that changed now.) Let's say jype ended up regretting every word they'd said. Not only them but the other companies too. They lost a star , how sad. A few companies,Jype being one of them, kept sending letters and emails asking MINI to come to their company. Each time, it was a no. For years they tried and for years they failed. And Ly does not regret it.

Doesn't get scared easily
Areum rarely get scared or at least show any signs of fear. Don't try to scare her it won't work you won't get a reaction. Jungkook can tell you about it. She doesn't get scared that easily. If she knows she isn't in actual danger, she won't care. The Run zombie thing was just funny for her.

Very sarcastic
Be careful with what you say, you might get a sarcastic remark. "I am fluent in sarcasm."

Ice face
This nickname was given to her for because of her rbf (resting bitch face). Her neutral face looks cold and mean. If she talks without raising her eyebrows or smiling, people think she's mad. That look is very powerful. If she gets annoyed or needs some time to relax, all she has to do is give one look at her members  and immediately they stop. A look that could rival any ones mother. But don't get fooled, she is really caring and loving. She wouldn't hurt a fl-

She would hurt more than a fly
Mini is extremely protective of those she loves. Talk bad about anyone close to her you'll regret it. She is not afraid at all. If you don't believe it then ask the girl that tried to pull on Jungkook at the Airport, she'll tell you.

Working out 
Areum hates it. She hates working out but still does it. Mostly because Jungkook drags her but she does it because she's done it her whole life. Because of dancing, or when she'd work out with her dad to enhance her agility in martial arts. One thing about her, she always has her abs.

Cat walk
That's their default walk. They always look so powerful walking. Fan videos of Mini ending models career or Models should be glad Areum decided to become a full time idol. Videos of her walking the red carpet alongside her members always goes viral between kpop fans and locals.

*Insert the fanboying/fangirling*
It is a known fact that Mini gets a large amount of attention. Especially with Idols. Areum catching idols like pokemons. NCT fanboying will never not be funny. TXT basically trembling during their first meet. I-land. Itzy, Stray kids ,Monster X, Seventeen, Ateez,  (before their developing friendship)Got 7 (before they became best friends) and more. It's cute. When they admit their tiny(huge) crushes on Mini and then she hears about and probably mentions it during a live then they go live and are freaking out. How cute.

Fanservice
Mini isn't fan of Aegyo. She finds it extremely cringe. The few times she was forced to do it, it went a little viral, mostly because she hated every second of it. Other type of fanservice like flirting with the members and things of the sort are ok. Yeah, ok. But the One she hates the most is the, Smile for the public. She always tries to keep on a smile, to look less intimating. She doesn't feel the need to always do it but it isn't the reason behind her hatred towards it. The more she's forced to smile, the less genuine it becomes. She can hide her emotions pretty well but when she's done she'll show it.

"She's genuine."
Those were the words of a reactor, a public speech teacher on YouTube. After reacting to a few BTS videos and interview's he repeated that line multiple times. "She's the type to say what she thinks. If not saying it, she'll show it. She won't fake a reaction. Kinda like what I said about Suga, if they don't like it they won't fake it. I saw a few comments saying that she wasn't feeling like herself during these interviews and she's not faking a reaction. She's genuine."

Butter era
During the butter era, Fans and Mini didn't get to enjoy it as much. Mini was really struggling with a returning depression. She wasn't feeling well and it showed. Being one of the two main english speaker , she usually talked more. But during this era she didn't talk, she was always silent in her own little bubble. The most reaction she showed were when that one interviewer ate butter.  She was disgusted.

"Maman?"
For the first time in 9 years, Mini met her mom again and she came with surprises.

Scandals
She doesn't have much scandals. She keeps a pretty clean image. Most of them are just dating rumors. The biggest one being about her and Jimin. She was also involved in some scandals, but they were just misunderstanding. Like the one where people thought that Jungkook and Mini hated eachother. They would make compilations about them fighting and "hating" on eachother. Obviously, they were all jokes. They never actually addressed it but just continued their weird friendship.

Swimming
Some people wonder :what can't she do? Swim. She can't swim. She doesn't know how to. "I like going in the pool just chill, you know. But don't expect to swim. I won't. Actually I can't... I just don't know how to swim... Haha sad hours."

Producing
Areum is one of, not only Bangtan but HYBE's main producers. "Being a song writer and producer is cool. The process is amazing. It can go from one line or one beat no rhymes to a full song. It's just cool... It's stressing... It's a good way to express your creativity... Sometimes me and mostly the rap line be like ok we have nothing then a random beat comes and boom we start from there. It's amazing."

Sleep
She loves sleep but doesn't sleep enough-ok. She takes melatonin for sleep, you know. Not all the time but when she needs it. You'll see her taking a lil nap but at night she goes to sleep at like 5 am if they have a schedule and 7am if not. She is most likely to wake up at 6am if they have a schedule and 3pm if not. She has to force herself to fall asleep at night. It's almost impossible for her. So, she runs on coffee.

Soda
She stopped drinking soda when she 10. She just lost interest in it. She's like had some a bit but it's for rare occasions. (Ginger ale when she's sick. Iykyk)

Competitive
Areum is extremely competitive. Always focused on winning. Thankfully, she isn't a sore loser. Unless she loses to Jungkook, then you see the worst side of her.

Archery
She loves started years ago after becoming a trainee. She couldn't do most of the kinda illegal things she did before, so she changed ways of expression. She's passionate when it comes to it. During BTS in the Soop season 1 and 2, she was seen at multiple occasions shooting some arrows at a tree outside the house.  Fans seem to love it just as much as she does.

Allergies
She is allergic to pineapples, dust and flowers(pollen). She is okay with pineapple on pizza it doesn't do anything, pineapple juice makes her feel drunk, the scent of fresh ones makes her dizzy, fresh pineapples makes her tongue get unusually big and can make her faint. Dust and pollen, she just sneezes, has red eyes, has a runny nose and her eyes itch. Stay gold mv was struggle. Jungkook found out he was allergic to flowers during that mv, they struggled together.
