The short haired beauty laid on her bed in slumber which was soon interrupted. Areum was waken up by some knocking at the door. Groaning, she checked the time. A frown decorated her face as confusion bubbled inside her.

'1:42 pm'

She got up, not that she wanted to and went downstairs. Almost tripping when noche decided to go in between her legs.

"Jesus Christ." She mumbled kinda startled.

Opening the door, her eyes widened in happiness and confusion. "Jimin?"

"Hey." He looked her up and down. "Why aren't you ready?"

"What do you mean?"

"I texted you. Told you that I'm picking you up in two hours. "

Areum sucked in some air through her teeth. "I was asleep. "

"Oh my god." He couldn't help but laugh at this.

"Sorry. Come in." She widened the door for him to enter.

" Thanks."

" Make yourself at home, since it pretty much is. I'll be getting ready. "

"Alright, love." He said as Jjang licked his hand. "Wear something normal."

"Mhm."

Taking a quick but efficient shower, putting on lotion and moisturizer, getting dressed and doing her hair took like 15 min. She didn't want to make him wait too long.

Going downstairs with shoes in her hands, she rushed herself to get some food out for her kids.

"Well, that was fast." Jimin said before taking in her outfit. "Areum?"

" Yes, love? " She responded scooping dog food.

"We are in the middle of summer."

"I know."

"Won't you get hot in that? "

"No, it's quite airy.  Putting their bowls down as they come to eat. "I like that shirt. It looks great on you."

" Thank you, my love." He said taking her in by the waist for a quick kiss.

She pulled away. "Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere."

She deadpanned. "That literally does not tell me anything."

"Trust me." He kissed the top of her head.

"Alright."

Saying goodbye to her pets, getting her mask and keys, they left the house. They entered Jimin's car.

The ride was calm. The couple talked during the ride which never made it boring. Multiple topics were talked about, the group, their solo music, J-Hope's solo Album, their love life, the public's reaction and more. They talked about it all.

Jimin parked (This made me laugh) the car. " We're here."

She looked to see a tall building and she was confused. Jimin saw that and chuckled.

"Come on." He got out the car and she followed suit.

As they entered the building, eyes were on them. How could they not be? Everyone knew who they were.

"Wait here." He told her before going to a receptionist.

"Al–right..? " She shook her head at him.

Not long after he came back with someone else. They bowed at her, to which she mirrored. They escorted the couple to the elevator and up they went. The doors opened a restaurant like room was shown.

" Oh wow." Areum was definitely surprised.

They brought them to a table close to the window and she was amazed. Yeah, it was really high and it was scary but in a good way. Jimin pulled her chair for her which was cheesy but cute.

"Thank you." She looked out the window. The view was spectacular. " Woah."

"You like it?" Jimin who was sitting In front of her admired her.

She looked and smiled at him. "Love it."

"Glad you do."

Someone came to their table, which made the couple look up. "Good afternoon, I'm Minjin and I'll be your waiter today.  " 

"Oh, hi." She gave the waiter a polite smile.

"Good afternoon." Jimin replied.

"How may I get you started? Drinks? " Minjin proposed. 

Jimin looked at Areum to see if she wanted something. 

"May I interest you in the white wine? It is a very popular drink these days. " 

"Areum?"

"Yeah, sure. "

"Okay. We'll get the white wine, please." 

"Alright. I'll be right back and with the menu." Minjin bowed before leaving the table.

" How and when did you plan this? " Areum turned to him with a huge smile on her face. They'd been dating for about five month and they were both busy. Most of their dates were just them at home, eating and talking. So, things like this kinda excited her. She never had the chance to have this even with past lovers.

"Actually, Mark (Areum's brother)  had told me about this place a long time ago. " Her eyes widened. " I decided to bring you here since we don't get to do this all the time. "

"Aww. Thank you, Jimin."

"Anything for you, love." Areum couldn't help but smile harder at that. Call her cheesy but little things like that made her happy.

She looked out once again. She enjoyed the view but what she couldn't see was the way he looked at her. As if she was art. He loved looking at her. Analysing her, taking in and remembering everything about her. He couldn't help it.

The waiter, Minjin came back with brought their attention on the glasses that were being put on the table. " Here you go." He poured the wine in their glasses. Quite fancy if you ask me. "And your menus."

"Thank you." "Thank you."

" No problem. " Minjin smiled with a small bow.

Taking a sip of her drink, she hummed in delight. " You know people are unto us."

Jimin looked up. " They've been unto us even before we started dating."

" True but with that picture of us." Lyhyung tilted her head talking about the picture of the couple kissing.

"Yeah."

Jimin then took his phone out and snapped a few pictures of his girlfriend. Souvenirs.

She shook her head. " You always do that."

" Do what?" He raised an eyebrow leaning forward.

" Take pictures."

" Well, I want to remember everything we do. I want a souvenir. "

Areum just smiled at him.

The couple were getting out of the building. They had eaten and payed already.

" There's one more place I want to go." Jimin informed her as they entered the car.

" Oh? " She raised her eyebrows in surprise. " Alright then."

He started the car and drove. Obviously.

" Where are you taking me, love?" Areum asked .

" Uh...You know the place. " He responded.

" I do?"

" Yeah..you do." He smiled at her.

" We're leaving on the 30th, right?"

He glanced in slight confusion. " Huh?"

" For Chicago. We leave on the 30th?"

" Oh yeah. That's right. Why?"

" Just had to be sure since Zack is going to petsit."

" Right."

The rest of the ride was just them chatting. Nothing crazy.

" We're here." Jimin informed her. As they got out, she looked around confused.

Realizing where they were, Areum gasped. " Jimin... Is this..?" She wasn't even able to finish her sentence.

" Yes, it is." He smiled at her.

During their trainee/debut days, they used to go to this park. It was kinda isolated and not much people knew about this place.

Areum couldn't believe her eyes. " When was the last time we came here?"

" During our 100th day since debut. We came here after the celebration." He reminded her taking her hand in his.

" It hasn't changed much. I'm surprised it's still here." She gasped before turning to him. " Do you think it's still here?"

" I don't know. Let's go see."

After walking for about five minutes, they found what they wear looking for. Almost 9 years ago, as of 2022, they had engraved their names under a oak tree. It was written " Jimin and Areum were here" besides it there was little messages that they would add at each visit, like  " we'll be known" " our music will be listened to worldwide. " " We will always be together"  " we'll make a song together " " we got this !!" " Future me, you got this!!"

Areum got a bit emotional seeing all of them. She remembered everytime they wrote these. The conversation they would have under it. It made her happy.

" Wow."

" I can't believe it's still here. "

" Right."

Jimin got down and grabbed a rock. " Wanna add another one?"

" Of course I do." She joined him. They started writing in a comfortable silence.

" Are you done?" He asked her as she dusted her hands.

" Yep. Are you?"

" Yeah.  What did you write?"

" I wrote, 'We made it :)' "

He chuckled. " I knew it. "

She stuck her tongue at him. " What about you?"

" ' I told her' " She looked at him confused before noticing the one besides it. ' Tell her one day.'

" I promised myself to tell you, how much I loved you one day. I guess, I did it. " He got a bit shy.

Lyhyung grabbed his hand. " I'm glad you did, cause that day I almost ran and hid for the rest of my life. "

" I said I was sorry. "

" So was I at that moment!" She laughed loudly making Jimin join her. She got up and ran away, just like in the old days.

" Come back!!"

They had fun but unknown to them there was some people stalking them, taking pictures of them and posting about it on the internet.

Ex:

They got back to her house where they found calm. Nothing unexpected when it came to her pets. They really didn't cause any problems.

" Wanna stay the night?" She turned to face him after she got her shoes off.

" Of course." Jimin pecked her lips.

" Thank you for today. I loved it." Areum hugged him close to her.

" Glad you did. " He played with her hair.

" I love you." She put her chin on his chest to look him straight into the eyes.

He looked at her with a shy smiled. " I love you too." He once again pecked her lips. And again, and again, and again. Until the were full on kissing.
