MIKE POV-

---- Monday 8:30 AM ----

Mike arrived at work the time he normally does; the weather perfect only a small breeze passed by him. Placing a hand to his lips he thought about the kiss; glowing red. He smiled looking down at his phone, he texted Will numerous times over the pass days; but received no response, not knowing what that meant, did Will like him or not? It played on his mind; the kiss just felt right. The chestnut-haired boy being the first person he had a true connection with in a long time made the kiss feel as though it was for a purpose. As if Mike's lips were moulded only for Will.

He had a few girlfriends before, well in actuality he had two. Both when he was young. He kissed them many times, but it felt like nothing compared to the one he had the other day. Mike was alone for a long time; never thinking about being with anyone; deeming it as a waste of time. But he was still confused. He just wanted a clear answer

"Does Will like me or not?" frustrated, he ruffled his raven hair placing his head on the desk

"Knock Knock" Lucas chimed parading into the room.

"Hey Lucas!" Mike lifted his head, needing to tell the athletic boy about the kiss, wanting advice from the resident love-guru

"Well, you're more cheerful than last week" Lucas joked jumping onto the couch, hearing it spring under his body

"Something good just happened to me over the weekend" Mike grinned, pushing his chair away; pacing around the room

"Why do you always wait the weekend to tell me stuff" Lucas threw his hands in the air allowing them to hit his thighs on the way down

"Trust me this is worth the wait" The ravenette uttered, he hadn't told anyone about what happened on Friday; his mother pried but Mike only gave vague details embarrassed to tell his mother the details about his love life but letting her know he did indeed 'catch up' to Will. Mike was dying to tell someone, worried he might explode if he didn't. But not knowing where to start the story.

"So what exactly happened last night?" Lucas questioned shuffling on the couch, sitting up; resting his arms on his knees

----- Flashback to Friday 12:34 AM ----

"I actually have something to tell you! C-can I go first?" Will mumbled, his palms sweaty

"Oh okay" Mike's eyes widened

"What is it?" His words stretched,

Mike grew confused. Will placed both hands on the ravenette's cheeks; his fingertips reaching his raven hair, was he going to do what Mike thought he was? Or was this just wishful thinking? Trying to stay calm going along with the smaller boy who was inching closer and closer, this was it; the moment their lips touch. Time slowed. Mike melted; feeling the world around him fade away hoping this wasn't some sort of cruel joke dreamed up by his subconscious mind. His eyes fastened shut feeling Will's lips on his. He savoured the moment not knowing if he'll ever have this opportunity again. Their teeth hit against one another; the sensation filled him.

He wanted more affection. After the singular kiss Will pulled away, his face a bright red not believing what he did was true; looking down, Mike opened his eyes seeing the smaller boy in front of him, wanting to just pull him in forever. The kiss was short but lasted an entire eternity for Mike and he wanted another kiss, and another, and another, and anoth-

Mike could go on forever, he opened his mouth to say something

"So-"

"I need to go" Will blurted unable to look the ravenette in the eyes

"What?" Mike blinked, surprised by the random outburst

"Sorry" Will shouted running off into the distance, not even bothering to cover his head from the pouring rain. The water hit his bowlcut only able to be seen by the flimsy lights of the streetlamps, he wanted to shout for Will; scream his name at the top of every building in the city.

Mike snapped out his thoughts, seeing the chestnut-haired boy running across the road a car rolled up almost hitting him head on

"Will!" Mike screamed stepping forward luckily the car screeched to a holt narrowly avoiding the smaller boy, the ravenette breathed deep placing a hand on his chest.

"SORRY" Will yelled to the car driver; turning the corner

---- End of Flashback ----

"And then what did you do?" Lucas questioned fully invested in the taller boy's story

"I just went back inside" Mike now sat atop his desk

"After all of that?" Lucas judged

"What was I supposed to do Lucas?" Mike threw his hands in the air

"Oh I don't know? Maybe chase after him?" The athletic boy said as though it was the most obvious thing on earth

"I didn't think in that moment" The ravenette complained gripping the edge of the desk

"You never think" Lucas mumbled

"Well, I'm a professor so I must have thought once" Mike retorted

"Nope never" Lucas crossed his arms, shaking his head

"I'll give you never" Mike joked, squinting his eyes

KNOCK KNOCK

Two rhythmic sounds emerge from the door causing both boys to tilt their heads to the noise

WILL POV-

Will took a deep breath hearing muttering from behind the door feeling thoughts spiral in his head; ignoring all of Mike's texts from the prior days, too embarrassed to explain himself feeling as though he took advantage of the ravenette by kissing him. Remembering the kiss, Will blushed; it was gentle as if something out of a movie; never expecting his first kiss with a guy; although he had kissed someone before- a girl on his last day of High School in the Snowball dance- it didn't mean anything to him; considering that kiss more like something they 'needed' to do to fit in to seem like a bunch of hormonal teenagers.

Will wiped his hand against his pant leg; taking off any sweat that bellowed onto his hand. Walking in seeing Mike and Lucas he panicked; not knowing if Lucas knew who he was or the events of the past few days, but judging by the cheeky grin the athletic boy was sending his way, he assumed he knew the truth and therefore had no reason to hide. Inching closer to the desk; Will smiled throwing a hand in the air.

"Oh? Hello Mr Byers!" Mike joked; a smile visible on his face

"I wanted to talk to you about something" Will spoke barely above a whisper,

"Oh, what about?" Mike leaned forward, remaining purposefully oblivious

"I'm sorry... for everything, for lying to you and if you don't want to see me again, I completely understand. I'll even drop your class if you want me too" The chestnut-haired boy stumbled over his words speaking fast

"Will! I'm not angry at you" Mike's lips curled

"But... there's another thing too" Will choked out

"Another thing?" Mike questioned, his eyebrows furrowing hoping it would be what he was thinking about the whole weekend

"Yeah but can I tell you in secret?" Will awkwardly whispered, glancing over at Lucas

"Okay... Lucas?" The ravenette chirped, tilting his head toward the athletic boy

"I'm already out the door" Lucas threw his hands up in the air, walking out the room ensuring to close the door behind him in case anything noteworthy happens.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" Mike asked

"About- About the kiss" Will blushed, scratching the back of his neck

"Oh... what about it?" Mike flirted

"I- I don't know why I did that" The chestnut-haired boy whispered, avoiding eye contact

"I think you did" The ravenette teased, jumping off the desk making his way to the smaller boy

"Maybe you should give me a chance?" He said closing the gap between them

"A chance?" Will stepped back, walking until his back hit the wall

"Yep! I think you'd find out that..."

"I'm good at... many things" Mike flirted, placing a hand on the wall behind Will. The chestnut-haired boy leaned against the wall, crouching down intimidated but in a good way, he felt a feeling inside him... He wanted to feel it more.

"What?" Will's face blushed a reddish hue; was Mike saying what he thought he was?

"What? I meant I'm good at dating someone... what do you think?" Mike teased, keeping his hand on the wall

"N-nothing" Will blushed; thinking it was stupid of himself for being so dirty minded

"Did you think I meant something like this" Mike placed a hand on Will's chin tilting his head up to face him, their faces close; a mere inch apart but Mike stopped

"I'll only kiss you if you want me too" Mike spoke seductively, Will thought this was hot because consent is sexy. He nodded allowing the ravenette to bring their faces closer. Their lips meet, feeling the inside of Mike's mouth Will melted. Feeling better than before as this time Mike took control. Will in no way a good kisser; he was stiff like a piece of wood; but Mike remained patient allowing the chestnut-haired boy to ease into the kiss, they pulled apart.

Will went back in for a kiss this time and Mike immediately kissed back; the kiss was rough, the amount of force increased pushing Will against the wall. Mike towered over him, the kiss heated and sloppy, both craved for one another. Mike pulled away moving his lips down to the neck of the chestnut-haired boy hearing him whimper into his ear with every touch. The ravenette moved Will over to the desk placing him atop it, he wrapped his legs around Mike, moaning into him. Throwing off his blazer onto the couch, Will loosened the ravenette's tie; undoing the top button of his shirt, their mouths connecting once again

KNOCK KNOCK

"There is someone at the door" Will panted into the taller boy's ear visibly out of breath, pulling away a string of saliva still connecting the two. Mike leaned away neatly prepared himself to be presentable as the chestnut-haired boy straightened out his clothes standing to one side of the desk. The door creaked open, revealing a short girl with wavy blond hair, a girl Will recognised from his English course.

"Hi... Oh sorry Mr Wheeler! Are you busy? Should I come back another time?" The girl shyly asked worried to be disturbing another student

"Ohh umm" Mike thought, he was technically busy with Will; but couldn't really tell her that; wanting her to leave so he could continue whatever was going to happen with Will, he opened his mouth

"Nope! I'm on my way out! He's all yours" The chestnut-haired boy cut off, smiling bright teasing the taller boy, walking out the room passing the short girl.

"Thank you so much!" She chirped, thankful that she could ask about her work.

"You're welcome" Will sang; lurching over to the exit; turning the handle he opened the door.

"See you in lesson Mr Wheeler!" he flipped his head around, casting a wink before stepping out to close the door behind him.
