Chapter Nine~

And I'm always where the sun don't shine
The tears don't show
Won't hurt me now 'cause heart's been broke
I hate myself, but it won't show
I constantly lose all my remorse

Gerard laid on his bed texting Bert about random pointless things. It was calming to have someone show interest in the dumb things he liked. Of course Frank also did but they hadn't talked recently after the whole dad incident.

"Gerard?" Mikey said standing at the door way.

"Yeah?"

"Dad wants you downstairs, the couple he was talking with just left so don't be shy. I do think some kid is still there though." Mikey said.

Gerard groaned texting Bert a simple 'brb' before making his way downstairs.

He took his time hopping each step, watching his short white shirt bounce as he did. He wore a light pink sweater that his daddy had gifted him on his fifteenth birthday. It was his favorite because it was really soft and made sweater paws.

When he good downstairs he looked around for his father, before finally finding in the kitchen with another boy.

He was tall and Gerard thought he was really pretty. Not as pretty as Frank of course.

No one was as pretty as Frank.

"Hello, Gee this is Dallon." His father said.

Gerard smilled softly to the boy wondering why he was there.

"His parents are the Weekes, you know them, and they're going out of town so Dallon will be staying with us."

Gerard made a confused look. Dallon seemed old enough to stay on his own, or at least with a maid in his own home. The Weekes were very wealthy people, not as wealthy as Gerard's daddy but they were rich enough to hire a babysitter if they really needed one.

Gerard decided to keep his questions to himself to ask his father later.

"Michael!" Gerard's daddy called.

Mikey imeadiadly appeared in the door way.

"Sir?"

"Take Dallon here to our guest room, will you?" He asked motioning with his hands for Dallon to follow his youngest son.

After they left Gerard took Dallons spot.

"Why is he here?" Gerard asked simply. He knew his father usualy had some ulterior motive to most things he did.

"Well weren't you listening boy? The Weekes are going on a business leave-"

"Dallon seems about what eighteen-nineteen? He doesn't need to be monitored and if he did for some reason the Weekes could have gotten a babysitter for their adult son." Gerard said cutting his father off and folding his arms.

His father raised his eyebrows.

"I don't appreciate you interrupting me Gerard." He said sternly.

Gerard shivered at the sound of his own name. His father only called him that if he was becoming cross with him.

"I apologize sir."

"Yes. Anyways I offered to house the boy because I thought he would be a good influence on you."

Gerard felt himself getting flustered.

"Why do I need a good influence?" He asked in a slightly sassy tone that his father caught onto.

"Because recently you've been hanging out with this bert kid and I'm not sure how I feel about you being acquainted with any of Mikey druggie friends." He said back calmly.

Gerard sighed. What was so special about him? Shouldn't his father be more concerned with his thirteen year old hanging out with seventeen and eighteen year old 'druggies?'

"Bert is not on drugs!" He apposed.

"Whatever you say, doll." He sighed smugishly.

"Anyways that Frank kid and you don't even seem to be friends anymore so one less thing to worry about, yes?"

Gerard felt tears stinging his eyes as he thought of Frank. It had been nine days since they had properly spoken and it was tearing Gerard apart. He got a good morning and good night text with some sweet message telling him that they would talk soon, but all they did was get his hopes up.

"We are still friends, daddy! Frank is my best friend."

"Hmm... "

Gerard rolled his eyes.

"I'm going to meet Dallon." He said before getting up, not caring enough to listen to the comment his dad had made about how nice his skirt looked from the angle of him walking away.

"Hi."Gerard greeted the tall boy.

He turned around pausing his unpacking and smiling at Gerard.

"Hello."

"My name's Gee." He said looking around the guest room he never paied attention to.

"I heard." Dallon smilled reminding him of when he first met Frank.

Gerard wasn't too close, but he could tell he smelled nice from where he was. His eyes were a pretty blue color in contrast to his dark brown hair. He had to be about six foot six by the way he towered over Gee like a sky scraper.

He giggled.

"I really love your outfit, Gee." He said looking over Gerard's outfit.

"Oh thank you!" Gerard exclaimed.

Anytime someone would compliment him it would make his day due to his low confidence.

"Well you're a very beautiful boy in general, but I'm sure you know that already." Dallon chuckled, leaning on his new dresser.

"I'm really not... " Gerard blushed.

Dallon made a confused look.

"Hmm... " he hummed thinking. "How about I take you out for ice cream? Would you like that?"

"Yes, please!" Gerard giggled.

✗ ✗ ✗

"What kind do you want? I'm getting strawberry." Gerard told Dallon as they waited in line. Gerard peeked around the line to see how many more people were in front.

"I don't know, little one... I'll probably just get vanilla."

Gerard scrunched up his nose.

"Dallon, that's boring." He stated.

Dallon laughed making Gerard smile.

"Oh, no - we can't have that can we? How about you pick me out a flavor."

"Okie!"

When they made it to the top of the line Dallon noticed he knew the worker.

"Hello Sarah." He said smiling.

"Hey Dallon! Oh and who is this cutie?" She said sweety.

"This is Gee, Mr. Way's eldest son."

She made a silent "oh" sound and nodded.

"Well Gee, what can I get you today?" He smilled brightly.

I took a quick look at all the flavors.

"I want strawberry and Dallon wants... coffee." He decided.

Dallon smelled slightly of coffee. He could tell now because of hoe close they were standing.

"Wow, Gee those are my two favorite flavors." Sarah said preparing the ice creams.

"Really?" Gerard gasped.

She nodded handing each of them their ice creams.

"You have very good taste." She smilled, tapping her finger on Gerard's nose.

Dallon giggled ruffling Gerard's hair.

"See you two!" She waved as they left.

"Fuck... " Frank whispered to himself.

This was the sixth time he had tried calling Gerard in the last ten minutes.

"Maybe he just got tired of me and my bullshit." He mumbled to himself tossing his phone to his bed.

He laied on his back drowning in self pity.

He had been miserable since that day with his father. the good night texts weren't doing enough for him anymore.

He just wanted to hear his voice.

Frank sighed turning on his t.v. looking for a distraction. As soon as it came on his phone vibrated. Frank almost fell off his bed going to see what the notification was.

Gee: hey frankie! I was out with a friend getting ice cream and I somehow left my phone here.

Frank almost cried, reading the words over again ten times before replying.

Frankie: That's alright doll, I just wanted to let you know that miss you more than I can tell and I want to see you as soon as possible.

Gee: frankie I miss you too!!!!

Gee: I thought you hated me

Frankie: if anything I hated myself for allowing you to be alone all that time.

Gee: I was sad at first but I made two new freinds. Bert and Dallon.

Frank frowned. Maybe Gee was doing just fine. He was they one who was not needed.

Gee: but neither of them could ever replace you so I was still sad.

Frank smilled.

Frankie: how about I come to your house right now?

Gee: please hurry I miss you sooo much

Frankie: Otw princess.
