3.04 Photogenic
Yeosang was well aware that the drowning feeling of everyone's eyes being on him, was all in his head, but that didn't stop his hands from shaking slightly, and sweat forming at the back of his neck.
He couldn't help, but feel like the entire world was judging him in that moment, when he stood face to face with a young man he had paid to sleep with him. Numerous of times.
"I'm sorry," he finally said, pressing each word forcefully out between his lips. "I don't know this person."
"Too bad," Minho muttered quietly behind him. "He's kinda cute."
The blonde hair, which Yeosang would've much preferred to not know how felt like silk between his fingers, swayed down in front of Felix' eyes, as he tilted his head at the obvious lie. Hongjoong on the other hand lit up in a smirk, raising an eyebrow while looking back and forth between Yeosang and Felix.
"Oh, I apologize, I must have been mistaken."
Had Yeosang ever seen an apologetic smile faker than the one plastered on Hongjoong's face, he surely had forgotten. With a hand through his platinum blonde hair, Hongjoong gestured for Felix to follow him, and then they simply turned to walk away - but with a 'enjoy the rest of your evening' from Hongjoong, thrown over his shoulder.
"Okay that was weird..." Minho was now standing right next to Yeosang, sipping his drink, while they both looked in the same direction - following the two blondes with their eyes. "Are you sure you didn't know him? Kind of strange for Hongjoong to assume otherwise, if it isn't the case. You two have been friends since forever, right?"
Biting his lip, Yeosang pondered on what to respond. He had stuffed his hands into his pockets, to hide how they were still trembling, and his heart was racing in his chest. How in the world had Hongjoong ever found out about Felix? But more importantly, how was he going to use it against Yeosang? Because, he surely would...
"Would you look at that," Yeosang then said, turning to face Minho, to lead the conversation in a very different direction. "Your glass is empty, let's go to the bar! I could use another drink myself."

About an hour and a half later, and using his best maneuvering skills to avoid Hongjoong for the rest of the evening, Yeosang had found a quiet place outside to get some fresh air. He was fiddling with his phone, pressing all the wrong things with his fingers - which were hard to control after all the cocktails he and Minho had been drinking.
His head was spinning, but one thing was still clear in his mind - how much he missed San.
"Hey, it's me," he started, leaving a voicemail as San didn't pick up the phone. "I know it's late, so you're probably sleeping. I just wanted to call you, and tell you that I miss you, and that I love you. A lot. And I can't wait for you to be back in my arms again..."
As he spoke, Yeosang glanced towards the sky, catching a glimpse of the crescent moon peeking out behind the clouds. With a heavy sigh, he hung up and stuffed the phone back into his pocket. His heart was hurting, when moonlight met his eyes, and suddenly he didn't know why he was wasting so much time picking a childish and meaningless war with Hongjoong.
All that mattered, and ever should matter to him, was to make San happy and safe.
"So it's true?" A voice suddenly said behind him, quietly - almost in a whisper, but even then the hurt was undeniable.
Yeosang turned around, slowly, hesitant and feeling unprepared for what was about to happen. His last meeting with the petit blonde, had ended in a rather unpleasant way, and the guilt of hurting him back then had been revived when their eyes met again earlier that night.
"What... What do you mean?" Yeosang cleared his throat, but still felt as if the words got stuck.
"You left Park Seonghwa for someone else? ... You even got out of the prenup?"
There was a slight pause in between the two questions, but the look in Felix' eyes spoke instead of the brief silence. Someone who wasn't me.
Having no clue on what to say, Yeosang simply shrugged his shoulders. He probably came off as careless and cold hearted towards the younger, but he genuinely did not know what to say.If he had to be completely honest, he didn't want to say anything either - as Felix' presence still made him feel suspicious.
The look on Yeosang's face must have given him away though, as Felix then said:
"By the way, I didn't know you would be here tonight. You know I'm having constant money struggles, so I still need to do... That... A friend of mine hooked me up with Mr. Kim for tonight, and I spotted you through the room and froze. He asked me if I knew you, and I just said that I used to, but that we never were close. But, I guess I felt... Kinda humiliated when you said you didn't know me."
Felix leaned his right shoulder against the building, eyes dropping to stare at his own feet as he spoke. After a few seconds of silence, he looked up again, and directly into Yeosang's eyes.
Yeosang had to swallow a lump in his throat. He felt bad for having felt suspicious towards Felix. One thing was Hongjoong, who was clearly a liar and only out to drag Yeosang's name through the mud - but Felix was different. He was a good kid, with a pure heart.
"I'm sorry about that," Yeosang mumbled. "If you've stumbled across some of the tabloid headlines recently, Kim Hongjoong and I are not on the best of terms at the moment, so I don't trust anything he does or says."
"I understand..."
The two of them stood awkwardly and looked back and forth between each other, and whatever was closest to them, for a moment, while none of them spoke. The evening breeze made their hair twirl around, and Yeosang kept trying to lead a stray lock of his hair away from his eyes - probably not coming off as gracefully as he wanted it to, with his uncoordinated drunk hands.
"And I'm sorry for how I reacted the last time we saw each other," Felix suddenly said. "I knew what the agreement between us was, and it was my own mistake to..."
The younger's voice made a small crack, and Felix turned his face away in an instant.
"To..." he whispered, trying to go on.
"Felix. You don't have to say-"
"Fall in love with you."
There they were, the words which had never been said between them, but had been floating in the air around them the last couple of times they had hooked up. Yeosang had known for a while back then, that the blonde had developed feelings for him, and he knew he should've ended things way earlier than he did.
But back then, the only intimacy where he didn't have to force himself to feel good, had been with Felix - and such a thing had been hard to let go off.
Tears were falling from the younger's eyes, even though he tried hiding them with his long hair. His lower lip was trembling, and it appeared that he wanted to say something else, but no words were coming out. Felix suddenly turned around, and was about to walk away, when Yeosang instinctively reached out for him.
The blonde's tears were leaving small, dark spots on Yeosang's shirt, when he held him close, letting him cry out against his chest. After everything he had put him through, it was the least he could do.
"I'm sorry, Felix, I really am," Yeosang whispered to him.
"Me too."
A sudden change in Felix' voice, made Yeosang scrunch his nose, but he didn't get to react further, before he felt a pair of soft lips against his own. Taken by surprise, he stumbled backwards, resulting in his back hitting the wall behind him - but still with a set of lips that definitely weren't San's, on his.
Yeosang's eyes had widened to double the size, when he finally gained control over his own body again, and even in his drunken state of mind, he got the younger pushed away. He stared at Felix in disbelief, but the brown eyes that met his, were far from the soft looking, innocent angel eyes he used to know.
"You've always been so photogenic," Felix smirked at him, drying his own lips with the back of his hand.
"What are you talking about?" Yeosang growled at him. He knew he probably couldn't blame Felix too much for giving it a chance, as they had had sex many times while Yeosang was still married - but things were different now.
The blonde then looked over his shoulder, and Yeosang followed the direction with his eyes. He only just managed to catch a short glimpse of a man revealing himself from hiding in the bushes on the other side of the street, before storming away - with a big camera under his arm.
Yeosang felt as if all the air was punched out of him. There was no doubt: paparazzi, and by morning the photos of him kissing someone else than his boyfriend, would be all over the front pages.
His head was spinning even more than before, but now it wasn't because of the alcohol. It was rage.
"Why did you do this?" The growl in Yeosang's voice now felt all justified, and flames were shooting from his eyes, as he glared at Felix. "Did Hongjoong pay you to do it?"
"No," Felix replied with a snort over his shoulder, as he started to walk away. "This one, I did for free. Because you broke my fucking heart."
