"INOSUKE! THAT'S NOT FOR YOU TO EAT!-"
A young boy screeched with horror as he ran into the kitchen. He started to pry off another male who was about to stuff his mouths with some cupcakes. He squirmed in the arms of the other young boy.
New York was always loud, no surprise. With its cars honking, sales going around, New York might even be the loudest city ever. Yet, why are these three boys somehow louder than New York?
"RAAAAH, M/N, LET ME GO!"
The male yelled at the one holding him in his place.
"INOSUKE, THE NAME IS Y/N, NOT M/N!"
Meet Y/N Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira. Both males were currently fighting each other to not eat any sweets. Luckily, they were on break, and it was almost time to close up. If you can't tell them apart, I'll help them for you.
Inosuke is the one being held by Y/N. He has soft black hair with blue tips and shimmering green eyes. He looks feminine, so he can be mistaken for a girl most of the times. Don't be deceived by his looks. He may look pretty, but he can be blunt and aggressive most of the time, always trying to pick a fight with random strangers he has never met in his life.
The other one holding Inosuke is named Y/N. He has fluffy (H/C) with burgundy tips and pure maroon with a mixture of (E/C) eyes. He's a kind male and can make anyone swoon over him if he flashed them one of his famous smiles.
"STOP WITH ALL THAT SCREAMING, IT'S KILLING MY EARS!!!!"
Another voice entered in with the ruckus. His name is Zenitsu Agatsuma. He has butchered yellow and orange hair with glistening hazel eyes. He is a bit jittery and complains a lot when he works. He doesn't seem to get along with Inosuke, but gets along fine with Y/N since he rarely causes him any trouble. The only thing he hates about him is being too goodie-two shoes and gets all the ladies, and what's worse is that Y/N doesn't even notice those feelings!
"I'm sorry, Zenitsu, but Inosuke is about to eat the treats again!"
Y/N yelled back to Zenitsu who deadpanned, not surprised with the situation since it was pretty normal for him. Y/N struggled against Inosuke who wouldn't stop squirming violently in Y/N's arms. Y/N sucked in a breath and raised his hand, not having a choice but to knock him out.
He slammed his hand down on Inosuke's neck, causing him to gawk in pain before slumping in Y/N's arms. Y/N sighed with relief when Inosuke was knocked out, bringing in a quiet aura that they probably haven't heard in years when Inosuke first came into their lives.
"Finally, that idiot is asleep for once!"
Zenitsu remarked as he snickered away to finish his drink. Y/N lightly mumbled to himself before carrying the unconscious Inosuke to their table. At least the day was almost over and Inosuke was passed out so they can deliver the order with no problems.
The bakery day was finally over. Y/N was exhausted as he carried his legs up the apartment complex he lived in. He tiredly pulled out his keys and gently slotted them in the key holes, turning it so the door would unlock.
Once he stepped foot into his home, he pushed the door behind him, making sure he hears the familiar 'click' and locks the door. The tired Y/N slumped his bag on the floor, making a mental note to pick it up later because he was too tired to do anything except drop dead on his bed.
Bakery days are rough, especially with the trio. They're so loud and usually messy that they were able to jab nicknames from others. 'Kamaboko' was their name. It used to be originally Inosuke's name since he was unable to pronounce Y/N's last name correctly. Usually, it's a one out of eight chance he'll be able to pronounce your name right.
At least they had high ratings on their bakery. People don't know whether it's Y/N's baking skills with all the sweet treats he's able to whip up perfectly, or for free gossip slash drama they get to have when waiting for their orders.
Y/N plopped on his bed and stuffed his face on the soft pillow, muffling his groans as he lightly tugged on his soft hair. Meanwhile, a small girl trudged through door frame into Y/N's room with large baggy clothes trailing behind her.
She hummed as her small form waddled towards the boy and lightly tugged on his checkered sleeve. Y/N turned his face, his tired eyes staring back at the doe pink eyes.
"Oh... Hey, Nezuko."
Y/N sat up as the said girl Nezuko crawled on Y/N's lap and snuggled into his chest. He lightly chuckled at the girl, and he patted her head softly.
"Today was rough.... Zenitsu wouldn't stop yelling at Inosuke since he almost burned the bread and almost ate an order. At least I managed to save it."
Y/N mumbled as he laid his cheek onto Nezuko's head. Nezuko hummed through her bamboo muzzle as she glanced up at her big brother. Since their parents were... not here anymore, Y/N took over the bakery they had in New York city with the help of his friends, and everything's been really stressful.
More customers, the loud boys yelling at each other, and the trio usually sharing one braincell together. At least they were getting enough money to live in their apartment. Y/N felt like his whole body was on fire, not knowing if it was from all the burn outs or all the training he has been going through from the past few weeks.
Nezuko heard soft snoring above her as she shifted her head a bit to see Y/N asleep on Nezuko's head, light drool on the corner of his lips. She lightly giggled as she lightly placed Y/N down on his bed and snuggled up to him, shutting her eyes to let the calming darkness take over her vision.
"Bye, Zenitsu, Inosuke! Thanks for the help!"
Y/N smiled brightly as he flipped the sign to 'Sorry, we're closed. Come again!' He waved at the yellow-haired boy who had a flowery aura around him.
"Say hello to my wife, Nezuko-Chan!"
Zentsu giggled out as he skipped away. Y/N dead panned at Zenitsu.
"She's not your wife..."
Y/N mumbled. Inosuke scoffed as he walked away with his hands above his head, holding a small, wrapped box with sweet treats inside.
"Man, finally work is over."
Inosuke huffed out. Y/N shook his head softly, his hanafuda earrings ruffling on his ears as he smiled fondly at his two best friends. Y/N took out the keys from the door before starting to walk his way back home.
His soft (H/C) hair lightly bounced with each step as his Maroon and (E/C) eyes shimmered under the moonlight. Finally, after a long day, he can go back home and finally rest, possibly watch a movie with Nezuko!
He lightly smiled as he turned a corner. While passing a building with a constructing sight near, he heard some voices.
"Mad dogs? You don't think something like, 'Ninja Mutant... Turtle Teens?' or, I don't know..."
Y/N furrowed at the voices. He's not one to snoop, but what did that voice just say? Mutant? Y/N was lost in thought as a weird smell entered his nostril. His eyes widened at the smell. It didn't smell human, but it wasn't a demon's scent either.
He cautiously stepped forward as he grabbed for his sword in his bag. He pressed his back against the wall as he held his sword in his calloused hands. He lightly peered over the wall before lightly gasping at the sight. He instantly swept back to the wall as he thought with wide eyes.
'What the- Were those, turtles?! But, they looked so human-like, but what was April doing there?'
Y/N thought in his head. He saw four humanoid turtles talking to one another as he recognized one person in the group. He's in some classes with April O'Neil as they usually talked, nothing much. He sucked in a breath as he gripped his sword.
He fought with his mind on whether he should unsheathe his sword right here or put it away since those mutants weren't attacking April. He sighed as he lightly put away his sword. He tried to zip his bag back up. Key word: Tried. He mentally cursed when he realized the zipping sound made too much noise as the group gasped.
"What the- who's there!?"
April yelled as she gripped the mutant dog tighter. The turtles got into fighting stance, just in case it was a threat. Meanwhile, Y/N was crying comical tears.
'UWAAAH!!! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!'
Y/N screeched in his mind as he tugged on his hair. He composed to himself as he sucked in a breath and jumped out of the wall. He nervously smiled at group as sweat formed on him.
"Ehehe... Hi, April!"
Y/N nervously squeaked out at the turtles were in shock of the attractive male in front of them.
"What the- Y/N?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
April yelled in shock. Y/N nervously gulped.
"I-I was uh... Just... walking by-"
Y/N answered, but there was one problem. His face was all weird as he had a weird pose. April raised a brow at the taller male.
"You sure you're telling the truth?"
Y/N nodded but his weird face still remained.
"I'm telling the truth."
Y/N lightly groaned.
"Y/N, I know you're lying. You make weird faces when you do."
April pointed out. Y/N sighed as he rubbed his neck.
"Alright, alright! I just heard someone talking here and saw you with these... um, turtles... here?"
Y/N pointed towards the four turtles with confusement if they're even turtles. The purple one was the first one to snap out of his daze as he coughed.
"Of course, Leo was being loud again."
The purple one said as he placed a hand on his hip. The blue one gave an offended gasp.
"Uh, no I was not, for your information!"
The blue one known as Leo as they called him, turned away. Y/N blinked as he stared at the ground with guilt.
"Sorry I eavesdropped on you..."
Y/N apologized to April. April scoffed as he went close to Y/N and gave him a side hug.
"Nah, it's no biggie. Besides, you're too cute to even be mad at."
April pointed out. Y/N gave a grateful smile before gasping.
"Oh, dear! I have to get back to Nezuko. Bye April! See you next time at school! Bye turtles!"
Y/N panicked as he got out his phone to see that it's a bit late. Y/N ran off not before waving and giving a big smile towards the group. April sighed lovingly as she waved back. Leonardo coughed to gain April's attention.
"So, are you going to introduce us to your friend?"
Leonardo asked April. He wasn't going to lie, but that human that they just met were kind of cute. He was definitely going to go lurking in the city shadows to find him again, maybe strike up a conversation. April was about to answer before noticing the sun was about to come out.
"Yeah, I'll tell you later, but we should head out since dawn is breaking."
The others nodded in agreement, not wanting to get caught by other humans in one day. They already have so much on their plate, yet they had a feeling that in the near future they would leave some room for that human boy.
Y/N made it home, yet he couldn't sleep. He stared at the ceiling above him as he blinked. The sound of the clock ticking in the quiet atmosphere accompanied by Nezuko's soft breathing next to him wasn't helping.
He sat up and looked around the dark room. It was at least two in the morning, but Y/N couldn't care less. He gently pushed the covers off of him and made sure Nezuko had her bunny plush next to her so she wouldn't notice Y/N was missing.
Once he made sure everything was in place, he slid into his green bunny slippers and grabbed his checkered Haori. It got a bit chilly at night so he whenever he woke up randomly at night, his Haori would be right next to him, folded neatly so it wouldn't be such a hassle to grab it.
He walked into the kitchen and flipped the switch up. He lightly squinted his eyes at the sudden brightness but slowly adjusted to it. He grabbed a cup from the pantry and made sure to grab a kettle as well.
He poured some water in before setting it on the stove, switching the levers to turn it on as he waited for his boiled water. He rested his cheek on his hand as he lightly fidgeted with his sleeve, deep in thought.
He perked up when he heard the kettle whistle, so he stood up and walked towards the stove. He turned off the stove and grabbed the kettle with a cloth so he wouldn't burn himself. He poured the water in the cup and grabbed a green tea packet.
He ripped it open before dumping the green tea flavor in his cup. He grabbed a spoon and swirled the mixture together. Once he checked the flavor, he grabbed the cup and walked towards another room.
He opened the door and closed it behind him. It was a bit dark, so he bumped into a few things along the way but managed to get to his desk. He sat down and turned on the light lamp on the corner of his desk.
Once it was on, he brushed his desk from nonexistent dust and pulled his notebook to set it in front of him. He grabbed the ink and brush and swirled it inside to get enough ink on the brush. Once he thought it was good to go, Y/N opened his notebook to a clean page.
He started to glide the brush and started to write in his book.
Man, today was really weird.
