April
It felt like yesterday they received their acceptance letter. Both Mob and (Y/n) couldn't believe they got in the school, but it was happening, and today is their first day. (Y/n) looked at herself in the mirror and adjusted the red tie around her neck. She looked at the gray jacket with blue-green stripes and the dark green-blue skirt she was currently wearing.
It suited her perfectly.
She smiled at herself, checking the uniform one more time before grabbing her school bag and rushed her way downstairs. She walked her way in the dining room, sitting herself down when she saw her breakfast and began eating the food. It was scrambled eggs and rice. Her mom was in the kitchen, cooking herself breakfast while her dad was already at work. "You excited?" Her mom asks, turning around and crossed her arm.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah, I am." (Y/n) admitted, taking a sip out of her milk. She grabbed her now empty plate and walked over way over to the sink, washing the dish real quick, put it in the dishwasher, and walk over to her schoolbag. "I gotta go now. Who knows what'll happen if I come late."
Her mom just smiled and walked over to her and planted a kiss on her forehead. "Have fun, sweetie. I might come home late due to work." (Y/n) nodded and waved her bye, walking over to the front door and slipped on her black sneakers. She opened the door and closed it shut, looking over to see Mob waiting for her. "Morning, Shige." She said, walking up to him.
"Oh, morning (Y/n)." The boy replied as (Y/n) got a good look at him. He looked nice in the uniform and surprisingly, his tie wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. I guess that's what happens when you work for Reigen for too long. "You look nice." She complimented as the two began walking side-by-side.
"O-oh, um... thank you. You look nice too." Replied Mob, a small sweat formed as (Y/n) just chuckled.
ββββββββ
After taking the station to U.A., they were finally at the entrance. They made their way inside the building, and already they were getting lost. They didn't expect the school to be this big. They finally reached the second floor and began searching for their class. "You think Class 1-A is on this floor or do we have to go higher?" (Y/n) questioned until Mob suddenly stopped. "The class is here."
The two stare up at the large door. "The door's huge." (Y/n) mumbled as Shigeo reached over at the door handle and opened the door. When entering, immediately, their eyes were set on their new classmates. All of them looked unique. One had pink skin, one had a tail, one had hair that looked like grapes, and one was invisible.
The new students were talking to each other for a small while, not noticing their presence yet. Shigeo closed the door behind them as (Y/n) eyes wandered around yet again until they landed on a certain blonde-hair she recognized. It was that boy who took her point those couple months back. His red tie was loosely tied around his neck and his expression was stoic.
His blue eyes were looking down at his phone, texting away to someone (Y/n) didn't care to know. "Where do you think we sit?" She whispered to the bowl-cut boy. "We're probably arranged," Shigeo said, as the two walks further in and noticed two empty seats in the back near the blonde. They check it out real quick, both of them seeing their names on those desks and sit themselves down.
The class continued their chatter, with Mob and (Y/n) joining the crowd until the sound of a voice booms, making them stop and look over to see the blue-haired boy from before scolding down at Katsuki, who's legs were resting on his desk. "Don't put your feet on the desk!" Bakugo gave a smirk up at him and rose a brow. "Huh?"
"Don't you think that's rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?"
Bakugo scoffs. "Nope. What junior high did you go to, you side character?" The boy looked down at Bakugo with a slight shock, then stared at him and introduced himself. "I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida." Katsuki smirk grows even bigger. "Somei? So you're a damn elite, huh? Looks like I'll have fun crushing you."
"Crushing"? That's cruel. Do you truly aim to be a hero?" Iida states, making Bakugo roll his eyes and scoff again. His red-eyes then catch something, making Iida look over at the door to see Midoriya standing there with the door open. "You're..." The class then averted their gaze over at Izuku, who flinches and starts growing embarrassed. "Oh, um..."
"Good morning!" He looks over to see Iida strutting his way over and re-introduce himself to the green-haired. "I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is--"
"I heard!" Izuku quickly interrupted, putting his hands up while it made Iida freeze up in his spot. "I'm Midoriya. Nice to meet you, Iida." Tenya then puts his hands to his side. "Midoriya, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you?" The boy looks up at him confusedly. "I had no idea... I misjudged you!" Iida then looks away in shame, "I hate to admit it, but you are better than me." A sweat forms on Midoriya's head. "Sorry. I actually didn't realize anything."
Suddenly, from behind Izuku stood the girl, who instantly notices him and says. "Oh, that curly hair! You're the plain-looking one!" He looks behind him and instantly yelps. 'It's the nice person! She looks good in a uniform...'
The girl had begun expressing her gratitude to him when he was in thought, smiling and making punching gestures while Midoriya turned red and looked away from her, muttering words while Bakugo just glared hard at the back of Midoriya's head before looking away. Izuku continued to blush while the girl continued her talk until a deep voice made the two freeze. "Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends."
Iida, Izuku, and the girl look down to see a man with long, black hair, dark blood-shot eyes, and facial hair. He was in a yellow sleeping bag for some reason, all zipped up as he stated. "This is the hero course." He unzips the sleeping bag from inside and pulls out a fruit pouch, taking a sip as the three students stare down with so much confusion.
'What is that thing?!'
The man then stood up, unzipping the rest of his sleeping bag, and stepped out, revealing a gray scarf and a black costume. "Okay, it took eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough." The class then stared at awe at the man. 'A teacher? Which means that person's a pro hero, too?' Izuku begins to think, looking at the man, 'But I've never seen a hero who looked that worn out before.'
The pro-hero looks over at the class and announces his name to everyone quietly. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you."
'Homeroom teacher?!'
Aizawa looks down at his yellow bag and begins digging in it. "It's kind of sudden, but put this one and go out onto the field." He holds the U.A. gym uniform, which is a pair of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and dark blue short sleeve shirt. The white lines create the letters 'U' and 'A'.
ββββββββ
"A Quirk assessment test?!" The class shrieked. After they got in their gym uniforms, they were now on the field with Aizawa and they were deeply confused. "What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" The brown-haired girl questioned. "If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." The class quietly gasped while Aizawa continued his statement. "U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are." He glances at them over his shoulder. "That's also how the teachers run their classes."
The class remained quiet while Aizawa stuffed his hands in his pockets. "You kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right?" He then holds a tablet up and begins to explain. "Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results forms students not using their Quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating."
He then looks over at the angered-issued boy and asks. "Bakugo, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right?" The class looks at him. "In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"
"67 meters."
"Then, try doing it with your Quirk."
As ordered, Bakugo walks over to the softball pitcher's spot and looks over at the homeroom teacher, who says. "You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle. Hurry up. Give it all you've got." Bakugo stares at his teacher for a moment, holds the ball in his right hand, and stretches his arms. "Then, well..."
'I'll add a blast to the pitch.'
Bakugo reels his arm back, a mischievous smirk grows as he uses his quirk and blasts the ball away. "Die...!" The ball flies high the sky, a trail of fire following it before it disappears out of view. The group stares at the sky, mouths slightly hanged. "Know your own maximum first," Aizawa says. Once the ball hits the ground again, the tablet in his hand beeps. He looks over at the class. "That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero."
He would up the tablet and reveals that the ball went 705.2 meters, making the group gawk. "705 meters? Seriously?" A boy with dark blonde hair with a black zig-zag mutters with a raised brow. "What's this? It looks fun!" A girl with pink hair with pink skin grinned. "We can use our Quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!" A boy with black hair said.
"It looks fun," huh?" Aizawa mutters. "You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" He then smirked. "All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."
"Huh?!"
Izuku started to tense up. 'Punished with expulsion?! Oh no... This is bad... In all eight tests?' He looks down at his shaky hand. 'I can only use One For All at either a hundred or zero percent. I can't control it yet...' Aizawa had formed a small, sly, smirk as he spoke. "We're free to do what we want about the circumstances of our students." He lifts his bangs to the students to reveal his smile more. "Welcome to U.A.'s hero course!"
'A huge test on the first day of school? What am I going to do?!'
"Last place will be expelled? But it's the first day of school!" The brown-haired girl shrieked. "No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair!"
"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted." Aizawa replied, leaving the class silent. "Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you want to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years, U.A. will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go beyond Plus Ultra." He grinned again. "Overcome it with all you've got."
The class continued to remain quiet, little determination running through them at their teacher's words. "All right," Aizawa spoke once more. "demonstration's over. The real thing starts now."
Test 1: 50-meter dash
The first two were Iida and a girl with long, dark green hair and big dark eyes with her tongue poking out in the corner of her mouth. The two lined up in their running positions, listening to the prompted robot announce. "On your mark... Get set..." A gunshot was rung out and immediately the two began their running. Iida was the first to finish, using his Quirk, Engine, at a fast pace.
"3.04 seconds!" The robot recorded as the green-haired girl eventually caught up and hopped over to the finished line. Aizawa looked over at Iida and muttered to himself. "Well, he's like a fish in water. It'll be worth seeing what others do."
The green-haired girl stood up from her spot, a bit hunched over with her tongue sticking out more, and glanced over at the teacher for a moment. That girl's name was Tsuyu Asai, and her Quirk was Frog. Next up, it was the brown-haired girl and a blonde-haired boy with a large tail. The girl smiled to herself, activating her Quirk and touching her clothes and shoes. "Lighten up my clothes and shoes..." The brown-haired girl's name was soon to be revealed as Ochaco Uraraka, and her Quirk, as you can guess, was Zero Gravity.
The gunshot for them to start was soon triggered, as both Ochaco and the blonde started running. Unfortunately for Uraraka, despite the help with her Quirk, the boy came first with the help of his tail. She then crossed the line and held her hands on her knees, gasping for air as she listens to the robot recorded her record. "7.15 seconds!"
She looked up from her knees, a smile on her face as she pressed her fingers together. "That's faster than I was in junior high!" She mumbled proudly.
Thirdly, it was the blonde with purple eyes and the girl with pink skin. The girl had gotten in the running position, but the blonde just chuckled, turned his body away from the finishing line, and placed his hands on his hips. "Everyone, you're not being creative enough. I'll show you what it's like..."
As soon as the gunshot was let out yet again, the boy jumped in the air and used his Quirk, a blue laser beam coming out. "...to be allowed to use your Quirk!" The blonde's name was Yuga Aoyama and his Quirk was Navel Laser. His blue laser beam soon disappeared and he falls to the ground. He looks up to see the girl slide against the ground with a white substance run past him, making him get up and use his Quirk again.
After the two made it to the finishing line, Aoyama chuckled once more, turned to her, and stated. "If I shoot for more than a second, I get a stomachache."
The girl and three of her guy classmates all give questionable looks to him, but eventually shrug it off as the next two were Bakugo and Izuku. Midoriya got in position with worry aching his face while Bakugo had a focused one. The mark was set and the two immediately went off. Bakugo formed his signature smirk and used his Quirk, explosives setting off from his hands as he made it to the finishing line in an instant.
"4.13 seconds!"
Midoriya soon crosses as well, hands falling to his knees while Bakugo stared at his smoking hands. "When I use both hands, the force disperses..." He muttered, but his gaze soon shifts over to Izuku, a scowl forming at the sight. Lastly, it was (Y/n) and Mob, and since the class was an odd number, the blonde with blue eyes joined in the two.
Mob was a bit nervous. He really didn't want to get expelled after just getting in, and this test wasn't helping him either since it was all about the physical form, and we all know he isn't that fit like everyone else. He glanced over at his friend. Her eyes were just fixed at the mark with little sweat trickling down her forehead. He then glanced at the blonde, he had a cocky smirk on his face and didn't seem to notice the look he was receiving.
"On your mark..."
Mob quickly looked in front of him with a flinch.
"Get set..."
The gunshot had rung out once again.
The blonde's yellow aura had slightly shown itself as he dashed his over to the end mark at a swift speed, coming at first with 4.06 seconds. (Y/n) simply jumped high in the air, kinda like Tsuyu's, but with more stumbling when she landed on her feet. She came second, her score with 5.01 seconds. Mob was, as guessed, in third place. He hesitated and sorta froze when it started but soon used a small portion of his powers and ran, ending in a score of 6.45 seconds.
While Mob was catching with breath with (Y/n) wiping a sweat, the blonde just looked at them over his shoulder, his smirk reappearing before walking away. That boy's name is Teruki Hanazawa or as people call him, Teru, and along with Shigeo, his Quirk was Telekinesis.
Test 2: Grip strength
Inside the school's gym, everyone had a grip strength record in their hands. Izuku stared at his and held it as tight as he could. He looked over the numbers that were presented, grimacing at the number he got. 56.0 kg.
"Wow!"
The green-haired boy looks up to see one of the students, who had six arms, held the strength record in his left, three hands. "540 kilograms? What are you, a gorilla? Oh, an octopus?" The boy with black-hair grinned while a boy with purple, grape-like hair just muttered."Octopuses are sexy."
Test 3: Standing long jump
Aoyama and Bakugo both cleared the sandbox with their Quirks while Izuku had landed within the sandbox. (Y/n) had barely made it to the other end, again, her stumbling with her footing before landing on the ground in front of her, a sigh of relief is released. Then, it was Shigeo. Like Izuku, he landed within the sandbox.
After Test 4: Side Steps, was done, it was finally down to the final test; Ball Throw.
Uraraka was the first one to up. She smiled, staring down at the ball in her hands before looking up, used her Quirk, and threw the ball high in the air. The class watched the ball float in the sky for what seemed like hours, but it was soon discovered that the ball had reached the border of the atmosphere when Aizawa lifted the tablet to reveal the score to be infinite which resulting in all of them to shriek. "Infinity?!"
"That's amazing! She got "infinity"!" A boy with dark blonde hair gawked while Izuku was sharing in his spot, the same worried face aching. 'This is bad. It's not something simple that I can just do right away. Everyone's leaving at least one amazing result...' He thoughts were snapped right back to reality when he looks over to see Teruki standing in the circle, the ball in his hands.
With confidence, Teruki's aura surrounded the ball as he reeled it back. He threw it as hard as he could, the ball zooming in the air as everyone gasped, except for Izuku, he was nearly panicking at the sight. Once the ball landed on the ground, his score was 706.4 meters, making the students even more amazed. Bakugo, not so much, he didn't seem pleased that someone else had beaten his score.
"Woah, that was pretty cool." (Y/n) said, watching Teruki go back to his spot. She looked away and stared over at her friend. 'Seems like he has the same Quirk as Shigeo.' She took a mental note, turning away from him when Aizawa called her up. She smiled and started making her way over to the spot and grabbed the ball that was retrieved back from the ground.
She created a strong, firm web line on the ball, bouncing it first to test it before circling the ball in a fast motion, reel her arm back, and tossed the ball in the air. The ball landed, and her score was 467.89 meters. It was still impressive nonetheless, but she was kinda expecting more. She walked back to her spot and let out a small sigh, crossing her arms and muttered. "At least it's higher than last year's..."
"I thought you did well." Shigeo blurted, taking (Y/n) by surprise and look over to see him gave the usual stoic expression. She just smiled as a reply then stopped when Aizawa called out Mob's name. The boy jumped and started sweating when a few of his classmates stared at him. He lowered his head, avoiding their eyes, and began walking to the circled spot.
Izuku was still in thought and still worrying, but he stopped momentarily and joined the others to watch Kageyama. Immediately, Midoriya had recognized Shigeo once he saw his face and hair. He was rather too focused on not flunking that he didn't really seem to take the time to get a good glimpse of his classmates and in all honestly, he wasn't too surprised that the Telekinesis's user had gotten into the Hero course after witnessing his Quirk.
Mob grabbed the ball from the ground then floated the circular object in the air from his hand. Mob looked up at the right blue sky, his eyes boring on the white clouds until he sent the ball flying faster than the speed of light. Everyone's eyes widened and their mouths dropped at how fast it went, trying their best to see where it went. Soon enough, the tablet beeped.
Aizawa stared down at the screen, turned around, and showed it to the class.
? ? ?
The class, again, gawked at the screen and gasped. "Even the tablet doesn't know where it went!" The same blonde from before squawked while Mob just shuffled his way back to (Y/n)'s side and remained quiet. Teru watched Shigeo from the corner of his eyes as they were burning right through his skull. He didn't like the fact that Mob had the same Quirk as he did. He always took pride in his Quirk and thought the world revolved around him and had overestimated his own abilities.
Heck, he even thought he was the main character of the world, and just seeing Mob made him glare. It appears Shigeo Kageyama became Teruki's first enemy.
'No doubt did I think he'll enter the hero course with that strong of a Quirk, he's amazing...' Izuku thought, glancing over at Mob. He stopped his thinking when it was finally his turn up. He gulped and made his way over to the circle, grabbing a new ball on the ground and stared at it. 'All that's left is this, the long-distance run, sit-ups, and seated toe-touch. It's now or never.' Izuku pondered again, 'At this rate, I'll be last.'
"It doesn't look good for Midoriya if he continues like this," Iida uttered next to Bakugo, his arms crossed while the anger-issued boy furrowed his eyebrows and stared directly at him. "Huh? Of course not. He's a Quirkless small fry, you know." He hissed, which catches Iida's attention and turns over to him. "Quirkless?! Are you not aware of what he did in the entrance exam?"
"Huh?"
Just as Iida was about to reply, Izuku had reeled his arm back, his power surging through his arm as he tosses the ball as hard as he could... with it landing at 46 meters. Midoriya's eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat. He looked down at his hand with confusion. "I was definitely trying to use it just now..."
"I erased your Quirk."
The class and Izuku look over at the voice, revealing to be Aizawa. His eyes were glowing red and his long hair was flying upwards, the grey scarf around his neck floating as he states. "That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted." Izuku just furrowed his eyebrows in puzzlement. "You erased my Quirk?" He then notices yellow goggles around Aizawa's neck, making him gasp. "Those goggles... I see! You can erase other people's Quirks with your Quirk just by looking at them. The Eraser Hero: Eraser Head!"
Immediately, the class had gathered together and began mumbling to each other at the newfound information.
"Eraser? I don't know him."
"I've heard of him. He's an underground hero."
On and on, the students muttered while Aizawa didn't seem to care about their blabbering and stared down at the green-haired boy. "From what I can tell, you can't control your Quirk, can you? Do you intend to become incapacitated again and have someone save you?"
Izuku meekly replied. "Th-That's not my intention--"
The scarf was then wrapped around the boy's form and was brought close to his teacher. "Whatever your intention," Aizawa started to say in a low tone, "I'm saying that's what those around you will be forced to do. In the past, there was an oppressively passionate hero who saved over a thousand people by himself and created a legend." He said, eyeing a certain someone in the corner of his eyes, "Even if you have the same reckless valor," He looks back down at Izuku, "you'll just be decked and turn into a useless doll after saving one person. Izuku Midoriya. With your power, you can't become a hero."
The boy didn't say anything other than gave a look at his teacher. The students had finally stopped their talking and watch quietly as Aizawa released him and returned back to his tired posture. "I've returned your Quirk. You have two turns for the ball throw." He turns around and walks off to a safe distance. "Hurry up and get it over with."
Izuku just lowers his head and walks back over to the circle, everyone watching with anticipation. 'I still can't control my power...' Izuku began his thinking, 'Should I let everything I can do hang on this one throw? Even All Might said that it wouldn't happen overnight.' He then clenches his teeth together and tightly shut his eyes, 'This is no good! If that's my only choice, then I just have to go all out!' He opens his eyes again, reels his arm back, and gets ready to throw the ball. 'It's just as Mr. Aizawa says. At this rate, there's no way I'll become a hero. I have to work a lot harder than other people! That's why, with all my strength... I'll do what I can right now!'
He throws the ball high in the sky with his power surging through his index finger. Everyone gawked at how fast it went, but since the ball was thrown with that much power, it caused Izuku's finger to turn purple, swollen, and have a broken finger. Once the ball landed, the tablet went off and Aizawa looked down to reveal the score. 705.3 meters. He'd beaten Bakugo's score. Aizawa gave a small grin down at the device unit his name was called, making him look up and stare at Midoriya.
His student gave a determined grin at him, his body shaking slightly as he held his right hand in a fist. "I can still move!"
"This kid..."
"He got over 700 meters?!" One of the classmates shrieked while Uraraka squealed. "Finally, a hero-like record!"
"His finger's swollen!" Iida pointed out. "There was the entrance exam, too. He has a strange Quirk..."
"It's not very stylish." Aoyama just states while (Y/n) and Mob stare at the green-haired boy with wide eyes. Bakugo, on the other hand, was very confused. In all his years he's known Izuku, he was always a 'Quirkless Deku' and KNEW he didn't have a damn Quirk, but all of a sudden he did? Since when? 'Wh-What's with that power?! Everyone's Quirks manifest by the age of four. This is unthinkable! But in reality...'
Bakugo couldn't even complete his thought since he was overwhelmed with anger and confusion. He glared hard at the green-haired boy, his hands shaking as his Quirk started to go off. "What is the meaning of this?" He then charges at him with his hands raised and yells. "Tell me what's going on, Deku, you bastard!"
Midoriya just screams in fright while Aizawa quickly wraps his scarf around Bakugo and disabled his Quirk making both the light blonde and Izuku look over at their teacher. "They're weapons for capture made of carbon fiber woven together with metal wire made of a special alloy," Aizawa stated. "Jeez... Don't keep making me use my Quirk over and over. I have dry eye."
'It's such a waste since his Quirk is so amazing!' Somehow the whole class thought together. Aizawa's scarf retreats back to his neck and his hair goes back down to his shoulders. "We're wasting time. Whoever's next, get ready."
Izuku watches the teacher trot off again, warily glances at Bakugo, and jogs off as the ash-blonde stood there in his spot, fist clenched and teeth grinding against each other. 'Until a little while ago, he was just a pebble on the side of the road. A pebble... on the side of the road!'
ββββββββ
After the sit-ups, seated toe-touch, and the long-distance run, the results were finally calculated and ready to be presented. The class and Aizawa stood outside the school gym, with the students watching their teacher and the teacher facing his class. "Okay, I'll quickly tell you the results. The total is simply the marks you got from each test." He then holds up a remote. "It's a waste of time to explain verbally, so I'll show you the results all at once."
Aizawa then pressed the button and the results were shown.

Rest assured the class was sorta pleased with their results, except for Izuku and Mob. Shigeo was glad he wasn't in last place, but he still wished he could've done better than being ranked the 4th last. Izuku, though, felt his heart drop when he sees his name at the bottom of the ranks. 'Last will be... expelled?' He then looks down at his fist, little tears swelling up his eyes as Aizawa turned the results off and simply said. "By the way, I was lying about the expulsion."
Complete silence.
"It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your Quirks."
"What?!"
"Of course it was a lie." A girl with black hair with a high-pony tail muttered. "It should've been obvious if you just thought it through." The class just looked at her with little sweat trickling down their heads. 'I didn't notice...'
"With that, we're done here," Aizawa states, stuffing the remote in his pocket and began walking away. "There are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them." Midoriya heaved out a big, loud sigh and looked up to see his teacher looking down at him with a teacher's pass. "Have the old lady fix you in the nurse's office. Tomorrow will be packed with even more rigorous tests. Prepare yourself."
ββββββββ
It was finally the end of the school day. The class had changed out of their gym uniforms and back into their U.A. ones. Izuku was trotting out of the school in a hunched form, his body swaying from time to time due to him being exhausted from Recovery Girl's healing. "I'm so tired..." He muttered to himself, groaning a slight bit until his eyes land on Mob's and (Y/n)'s passing figures.
Izuku had wanted to talk to Mob for a small bit after he displayed his impressive Quirk, yet again. And maybe write down his Quirk in his hero journal for future use. After watching the two walks pass him and chat, Midoriya stood straight and hesitantly began approaching them. "E-Excuse me..." Stopping their tracks, both of the two looks over at Midoriya, who flinched at their gaze before regaining his posture. "Oh, you're from our class. How's that finger of yours?" (Y/n) questioned.
"Uh... yeah, I am! And it's fine, Recovery Girl healed it..." The green-haired boy chuckled timidly. "A-Actually... I wanted to ask about your Quirks, they're really amazing a-and I want to get to know them more..." Mob's eyes glowed. Even though he's always happy to hear astonishment from Ritsu and (Y/n) time to time, he wasn't so used to having a stranger tell him so upfront. The bowl-cut haired boy gave a small smile at Midoriya. "T-Thank you." Mob replied.
"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself, my name's Izuku Midoriya, but pretty sure you guys probably know that by now..." Izuku chuckled timidly yet again, scratching the back of his head. "What are yours...?" (Y/n) gave a friendly smile at him. "I'm (Y/n) (L/n), but you can call me (Y/n)."
"I'm, uh... Shigeo Kageyama. You can call me Mob if you want." The bowl-cut boy introduced, making Izuku raise a brow at the nickname. '"Mob"?' Just as he was about to ask Shigeo, a hand was suddenly placed on Izuku's shoulder, making all three of them look over to see it was Iida. "Iida!"
"Is your finger healed?" Iida asks.
"Yeah, thanks to Recovery Girl," Midoriya replied.
Iida then notices the two figures and turns to them. "My apologises, I didn't notice you two. I'm Tenya Iida. What are your names?"
"The name's (Y/n) (L/n), and like I told Midoriya here, please call me (Y/n)."
"I'm Shigeo Kageyama... You can call me Mob though."
Iida nodded. "If you three don't mind, may I join walking with you?"
"Oh, uh, sure..."
With that, the four began walking with each other. It was rather silent at first, having it being awkward until Iida placed his hand under his chin and spoke. "I was really taken in by Mr. Aizawa." The three look over at the tall boy. "I even thought, "This is the best of the best" and such." Iida then crossed his arms. "I didn't think a teacher would encourage us with a lie."
"Hey! You four!"
The group turned over to see Uraraka running her way over to them with a smile. "Going to the station? Wait for me!" Once the girl approached the four, Iida quickly pointed out. "You're the infinity girl." Uraraka grinned up at him. "I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Um, you're Tenya Iida," She then looked over at Shigeo and (Y/n) and smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, what are your guy's names? I know you're from our class and you two did amazing at the ball throwing test!"
"No worries." (Y/n) assured. "I'm (Y/n) (L/n), call me (Y/n)." The Spider girl turned her head over at Mob. "And this is Shigeo Kageyama, or as people like to call him, Mob." Uraraka continued her smile. "It's nice to meet you (Y/n) and Mob!" The brown-haired girl then turned over at Midoriya, "You're Deku Midoriya, right?"
"Deku"?!"
"Huh? But during the fitness test, the boy named Bakugo said you were Deku. Right?" She questioned, making the group look over at Izuku to see him blush lightly and play with his fingers. "Uh... my real name is Izuku, but D-Deku is what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me..."
"An insult?"
"Oh, is that right? Sorry!" The girl quickly apologized, putting a hand on the back of her head. "But "Deku" sounds like the Japanese word for "You can do it!" so I kinda like it."
"Deku it is!"
"Midoriya?!" Iida shrieked. "You're accepting it too easily! Wasn't that an insult?" Izuku just turns around and looks away from the group, his face turning beet red as he covered his face in his hands. "It's like a Copernican Revolution..."
"Co-pe"?" Both (Y/n) and Ochaco question together, but shrug it off when all five of them began walking together to the station, talking and smiling. Mob felt himself smile throughout the whole time they walked together. Maybe this school won't be as bad as he thought.
